The INSANE World of False Christian Teachers

I saw this list of false teachers to avoid on Facebook, posted by someone who is very upset, saying that at least a third of these teachers were not truly false teachers.

There's 42 teachers here and I wasn't familiar with a good number of them, so let's take a look to see which, if any, of these teachers don't belong on this list.

We're going to move pretty quickly because there's so many of them, and you'll want to make sure you stick around until the end to hear my final thoughts about this list.

Fred Price was an American televangelist and author who was the founder and self -proclaimed apostle of Crenshaw Christian Center, located in South Los Angeles, California.

He was known for his ever -increasing Faith Ministries broadcast, which aired weekly on television and radio.

Is Price really a false prosperity preacher? Well, listen to this. If you have to say that, if it be thy will or thy will be done, if you have to say that, then you're calling

God a fool. The whole point is I'm trying to get you to see, to get you out of this malaise of thinking that Jesus and the disciples were poor and then relating that to you thinking that you as a child of God have to follow

Jesus. The Bible says that he has left us an example that we should follow his steps. That's the reason why I drive a Rolls Royce.

I'm following Jesus' steps. So Price says he drives a Rolls Royce because he's following in Jesus' steps, that Jesus and the disciples were so rich they would have been driving expensive cars, and that it's wrong to say to God, thy will be done.

And all that in just a couple seconds of talking. It seems clear that Price falls into the category of false teacher.

We've already covered T .D. Jakes in several other videos, so here we'll just play one clear example of Jakes preaching the prosperity gospel.

You say, I need restoration in my marriage. I'm going to sow this seed. I'm not worried about no financial return, but hook this family problem up, fix this turn.

Somebody say, turn it around. My job is kind of shaky, and I need a breakthrough tonight, and I'm going to sow because I need

God to turn it around. Needless to say, this is disgusting. Jakes is giving a sales pitch for people to sow a seed, or give money, so that they can receive restoration in my marriage, or to solve problems like hook this family problem up, fix this turn.

Somebody say, turn it around. And my job is kind of shaky, and I need a breakthrough tonight.

Of course, that is not at all the reason we give, and that is not at all how Christian leaders should teach about giving.

Regarding the prosperity gospel, Bodie Bockham wrote in a blog post that Jakes has been this country's most popular purveyor of this heresy in the past two decades.

If any Christian teacher belongs on this list, it's Kenneth Copeland. We've covered

Copeland in other videos already, so let's just listen to this little nugget of heresy from Copeland.

When I read in the Bible where he says, I am, I just smile and say, yes, I am, too. If anyone could give

Kenneth Copeland a run for winning the false teacher contest, it would be Jesse Duplantis. Not only does

Duplantis have one -on -one conversations with Jesus, Duplantis recounts this unbelievable conversation with Jesus.

I have a habit of saying, hello, Jesus, and he says, hi, Jesse. First name basis. I walked into that study, and something was wrong,

Pastor Osteen. I sensed it, and it wasn't with me. Everything's going great. Everything was fine. So I began to pray like I normally pray, and the

Lord began to minister to me, and I ministered to him. Finally, I said, something's wrong. Lord, something's wrong, and it's not with me.

Then I realized, and I said, Lord, somebody hurt you today. Somebody hurt you today. You're not acting like you normally act.

Somebody hurt you today. We'll just leave that there. We've also talked a lot about Joel Osteen in other videos already, so I'll just play the clearest example

I have that Osteen doesn't truly understand or teach the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

Today, we are so honored to have a world changer, a history maker, one of the great voices of our generation.

Ms. Oprah Winfrey is right here on the part wall with us. Hey, Oprah. Glad to have you.

All right. It's one thing to not realize that Oprah is not a Christian who needs to be saved.

It's another thing to publicly praise Oprah in front of your entire church. Absolutely unbelievable.

Peter Popoff is a German -born American televangelist. God told me, he said, you smite that cancer with your fist.

Popoff is a debunked clairvoyant and faith healer. He was exposed in 1986 for using a concealed earpiece to receive radio messages from his wife, who gave him the names, addresses, and ailments of audience members.

You got cancer of the stomach? Are you ready for God to burn that cancer out? Here it goes in the mighty.

Devil, back off. Back off, devil! Popoff still sells Miracle Spring Water.

Now in a larger size. Okay, obviously a false prosperity teacher.

John Hege is an American pastor and televangelist. I did some research on Hege and found this.

I'm delighted to present my latest book, In Defense of Israel. It scripturally proves that the Jewish people as a whole did not project

Jesus as Messiah. It will also prove that Jesus did not come to earth to be the Messiah. Since Jesus refused by word and deed to claim to be the

Messiah, how can the Jews be blamed for rejecting what was never offered? So Hege's enormous support for the nation of Israel leads him to teach that Jesus didn't come to earth to be the

Messiah. But John chapter 4 verses 25 and 26 clearly says this.

25. The woman said to him, I know that Messiah is coming, he who is called

Christ. When he comes, he will tell us all the things. 26. Jesus said to her,

I who speak to you am he. And amazingly in his book about Jesus not coming to be the

Messiah, Hege never addresses this verse. Hege is also a blatant prosperity preacher.

You say, Pastor, you mean that if I give to the Lord that I should expect to gain? Absolutely. The Bible says very clearly in Luke 6 38, given it shall be given unto you.

Listen, good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over. That's a four way game.

Wall Street does not promise a four way game. You lay it down, cross your fingers and pray.

Yikes. That's really bad. Hege teaches people to give not because they are thankful to God and because it's an act of worship to God, but rather because they should expect to gain from God.

That's the classic false teaching of the prosperity gospel. You might already be familiar with what we've already said about Stephen Furtick.

But here are several serious problems with what Furtick teaches. First, Furtick's preaching is so man centered that he seems to be very wrong about human nature itself.

And the process of discipleship is not God changing you into something else.

It's him revealing who you've been all along. It's always been in you. That teaching gift has always been in you.

You just had to get past what you would put on yourself. The idea that I'm not a preacher, I'm just a little girl.

I don't have anything to say. That was always in you. And second, Furtick's adoration of T .D. Jake seems to have led him to teach some version of modalism.

And now Jesus is taken from their sight and hidden in a cloud. But he did not leave.

He just changed forms. He did not disappear. He just was no longer visible.

Instead, he was internal. The three persons of the Trinity are not just different forms of God.

They are distinct persons. And despite facing much backlash over what he said here, I'm not aware of Furtick giving any clarification or explanation about that clip.

As I said in another video, although I used to be on the fence about Furtick being a false teacher, the evidence now for Furtick being a false teacher seems pretty strong.

Brian Huston used to be the lead pastor of Hillsong, but resigned after revelations of misconduct with women.

Like with Furtick, I used to be more on the fence with Huston. But the more I learn about Huston, the more problematic he becomes.

Of course, there are the scandals that resulted in Huston's resignation from Hillsong.

Huston is, at best, very soft on the issue of homosexuality. Someone told me that there's two guys singing in the choir at New York.

But we'll never be the kind of church who, when people join the choir, we ask them, are you heterosexual? Are you homosexual?

We will never be that kind of church. And Huston enthusiastically endorses teachers like T .D.

Jakes and Kenneth Copeland. Hillsong makes some noise! Well, Kenneth Copeland, your beautiful wife

Gloria, Brian and Bobby Huston from Hillsong Church in Australia and around the world, and we just want to thank you and congratulate you for 40 years of ministry in our great country,

Australia. And in the one sermon where he was supposed to talk about the seriousness of sin, Huston said people don't need to be told they're sinners.

You don't have to remind people they're sinners. They know. Because of all this, and more, I believe

Huston is a teacher who likewise should be completely avoided. T .B.

Joshua was a Nigerian charismatic pastor and televangelist. He was the leader and founder of Synagogue, Church of All Nations, a

Christian megachurch. Let's take a look at what Joshua was known for. T .B. Joshua, one of the world's most controversial faith healers.

He's called the prophet and the man of God. Week after week, he's said to heal hundreds and even thousands of desperately sick people.

Hmm. Three things. One, Joshua was supposedly a faith healer.

Two, Joshua was supposedly a prophet. And three, Joshua supposedly healed people by knocking them down, just like Benny Hinn, who we know is a fraud and charlatan.

Joshua also made a false prophecy that Hillary Clinton would win the presidency in 2016, saying that he saw a woman winning.

When Joshua's supposed prophecy did not come true, Joshua at first deleted this prophecy from his website.

But when major news outlets reported on the story, he put it back on the website, saying deleting the prophecy was a mistake.

Joshua also gives out what he calls anointing water, saying, By using the anointing water, you are symbolically setting yourself apart for Jesus Christ's special attention as you pray in faith.

I mean, you are positioned for mercy, favor, healing, deliverance, blessing, prosperity, and fruitfulness.

It is not the anointing water that heals the sick, but Jesus Christ himself. There must be faith both in the person praying and in the person being prayed for.

Prayer must proceed from and be accompanied with a lively faith. It is this that brings about the healing, not the anointing water.

This is all textbook prosperity gospel stuff. Joshua may have been very philanthropic, but it seems clear that he was a false

Christian teacher. We don't need to spend much time on Benny Hinn, who is a textbook prosperity preacher who continued teaching the prosperity gospel even after his supposed repentance.

Because I really believe that when you do this, just like David did, a miracle will happen real fast.

Sarah Young wrote the bestselling book, Jesus Calling, but there is an enormous problem with Jesus Calling.

So Sarah Young tuned in. She got to just the right frequency, and Jesus began calling

Sarah Young. And with pen in hand, writing down what he said. Dear ones, if that is indeed what is happening, then

Sarah Young is writing scripture. She's writing scripture. For Sarah to claim that Jesus himself is communicating directly to her, and for Sarah to claim that she is writing down the direct words of Jesus, is a serious, serious problem.

Because Jesus himself says in Revelation 22 .18, concerning the words of scripture,

If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book.

Jesus Calling isn't just a cute, creative book. It's serious false teaching because it contradicts foundational doctrines concerning scripture.

We've covered Bill Johnson in other videos already, so we won't spend too much time here.

Johnson teaches the kenosis heresy, which gets the nature of Christ very wrong. Do you know that Jesus so restricted his function on earth that he actually couldn't heal anyone?

And Johnson teaches that it's God's will for everyone to be healed. Does God ever choose not to heal?

No. God chose 2 ,000 years ago to make a purchase. For these reasons and many more,

Johnson clearly belongs on this list. Todd David Bentley is a

Canadian evangelist. He was a key figure of the Lakeland Revival and was in leadership of Fresh Fire Ministries Canada until stepping down in August 2008.

Let's take a look at some things Bentley has said. The Lord told me, and remember I didn't know he had a broken sternum or broken ribs.

The Lord said, I want you to punch him in the sternum as hard as you can. I want you to grab that lady's crippled legs and bang them up and down on the platform like a baseball bat.

I walked up and I grabbed her legs and I started going, Be healed! Be healed! I started banging them up and down on the platform.

She got healed. Clearly, none of this is biblical at all. And Bentley is a charlatan faith healer on the level of Benny Hinn.

In 2008, Bentley stepped down from ministry because of unfaithfulness to his wife.

His board of directors reported, We have discovered new information revealing that Todd Bentley has entered into an unhealthy relationship on an emotional level with a female member of his staff.

Is Bentley a false teacher? Clearly yes. Patricia King's website says,

Patricia King is a respected apostolic and prophetic minister of the gospel. Hmm.

Claiming to be apostolic and prophetic certainly isn't a good start at all. And if we scroll down on this page, we see that she's endorsed by teachers like Bill Johnson, Che Ahn, Heidi Baker, and Chris Vallaton.

So it looks like King is firmly within the new apostolic reformation movement, which is essentially the word of faith movement on steroids.

Here's King giving a supposed prophecy. I feel a commissioning from the Lord to blow the trumpet on this.

The levels of warfare that are going to target the church, target believers in 2009.

A very vague prophecy that anyone can say came true, yet King received this direct commissioning from the

Lord to blow the trumpet. These kinds of attempts to point people to how special of a Christian teacher you are, to convince people that you are indeed an apostle and a prophet, are textbook things that false teachers do.

We've covered Todd White in other videos already, so we'll just summarize the main points here.

White recently delivered a very encouraging sermon, where he repented of not teaching the full gospel, and he communicated the full gospel quite well.

All people are condemned, it says by the law. It says in the Psalms, in Proverbs, it says the law converts the soul.

The soul is converted from the law. That doesn't mean that we preach it as legalists, that just means that if people don't know that they're sinners, they won't see their need for a savior.

This is hard for people, huh? It's hard for me. It's hard for me. Because I feel like I haven't preached the whole gospel, and I repent.

However, the problem is that White has not yet repented of being a charlatan faith healer. I'm going to pray for you, and Jesus is going to grow your leg out and heal your back.

Charlatans and snake oil salesmen have been doing this trick for decades. It's slight of hand.

As well as numerous other false teachings. You can actually have the word so strong inside of your heart that you never have to slip.

People are like, well, that's false. That's not true. Well, you're wrong. I live with me. Until Todd White repents of false teachings like these, we would still say that White is something to completely stay away from.

Charles Russell Taze was the founder of the Jehovah's Witnesses, which teaches that Jesus Christ was

God's first creation. That's really all we need to say here. Clearly a false teacher. Heidi Baker is a

Christian missionary, itinerant speaker, and CEO of Iris Global, a Christian humanitarian organization.

Let's take a look at the kind of things Baker teaches. Everybody, place, place that anointing, that crown, that gift upon someone else's head.

Keep praying. Every single one of you. Impartation. Legacy. Legacy.

Legacy. Legacy. Legacy. Legacy. Legacy. Increase your glory.

More Lord. Try it again. Try it again. Try it again. Try it again. More Lord. Um, so yeah, that's

Heidi Baker. She's deeply connected with Bill Johnson and Bethel Church, and like Johnson, she's so obsessed with signs and wonders today that she does ridiculous things like this.

Baker clearly belongs on this list. Mike Bickle is an

American evangelical leader best known for his leadership of the International House of Prayer. Bickle, like Heidi Baker and Bill Johnson, is a key player in the

New Apostolic Reformation movement. Here's Bickle describing an encounter that he had with God.

I call it the internal audible voice of the Lord. It resounded in my being. And he said, I will change the understanding and expression of Christianity and the whole earth in one generation.

I mean, it came through me like power. Again, this is another classic example of not trusting in the sufficiency of Scripture and trying to convince people that you receive special direct revelation from God.

Not only does Bickle receive this internal audible voice of the Lord, whatever that is, he says

God told him something vague enough that anyone can say it came true. Christian teachers who teach as if God is giving special direct revelation only to them are extremely, extremely dangerous.

And this is why Bickle belongs on this list. John Crowder is an author, speaker, and advocate of supernatural

Christianity. John is on the forefront of a fresh renewal movement marked by ecstatic joy and miracles.

Let's take a look at an example of Crowder's preaching. Oh, Jesus. Oh, dear Jesus. Oh, Lord.

Yes, Lord. I've learned a quick prayer. I'll teach it to all of you really quickly. Okey -dokey,

Lord. Okey -dokey. Lord, I love your heavy, drunken glory.

Lord, I love it, Lord. Thank you, Father, for more of the heavy, weighty, drunken glory in this house today.

My favorite little bit of you, Jesus, is the bliss. This kind of utter irreverence towards spiritual matters is characteristic of Crowder's ministry.

Crowder has also said this, Here is a deeper place on the journey that the mystics of old simply called the prayer of union.

In this third stage, I became so absorbed in his glorious presence that I can no longer tell where I end and where he begins.

You are no longer distracted with interpreting a vision or trying to understand a scripture. He shows up and you are undone.

It is deeper into simplicity. Like so many other teachers on this list, Crowder is pointing people away from scripture towards something else.

In this case, towards some kind of unbiblical mysticism where God shows up in a way he would not otherwise show up.

Crowder's irreverence and teaching concerning mysticism should be avoided by Christians. Andrew Womack is an

American conservative charismatic TV evangelist and faith healer. He founded

Andrew Womack Ministries in 1978 and Cherus Bible College in 1994.

Listen to what Womack teaches here. If you are reaping sickness, it's because you've thought sickness.

It may not be that you've thought, all right, I want to be sick. But you've thought things that allow sickness to dominate you.

This is classic Word of Faith prosperity gospel teaching where you can control sickness with the power of faith or the power of your thoughts.

Womack clearly belongs on this list. Andy Stanley is the founder and senior pastor of North Point Ministries, one of the largest megachurches in the

United States. Stanley teaches a number of extremely problematic things. He wants people to stop asking, what does the

Bible say about that? Because he says the Old and New Testaments are essentially contradictory.

What does the Bible say about that? This is a really bad question we have to quit asking. Here's why. Because the Old Covenant says stone her and the

New Covenant says forgive her. And Stanley has a view of God's love that seems to completely ignore

God's wrath towards sin. And the truth is, you're a sinner. But the grace is,

I don't condemn you. And no one will ever love you more, and I couldn't love you anymore.

Is Stanley a false teacher? Well, so many of Stanley's teachings are bad enough that whether or not we place him firmly in the category of false teacher,

Christians should certainly stay away from his teachings. Rick Joyner founded with his wife the

Morning Star Ministries in 1985. Joyner is one of the leading proponents of the

New Apostolic Reformation, which tells us what kind of camp he belongs to. Even more serious, however, is what

Joyner teaches about Jesus not being a man anymore. In his book, There Were Two Trees in the

Garden, Joyner writes, There is a tendency to continue relating to him as the man from Galilee.

Jesus is no longer a man. He was and is fully spirit. He took the form of a servant and became a man for a brief time, making a way for us to know him by and through the spirit.

Getting the nature of Christ wrong in such a fundamental manner is certainly heresy. Paula White is an

American televangelist. White is one of the most blatant proponents of the prosperity gospel.

God has life for your relationships, for your finances, for your ministry, for your dream, for every area of your life.

This kind of manipulation to get people to give to your ministry is absolutely disgusting.

Perry Stone is an international evangelist and author. Stone claims to receive prophecies from God for what is going to happen.

I don't consider myself a prophet. I just consider myself someone who has the ear to occasionally hear, and God uses that way.

Old men will dream, dream, young men will see visions. Some of these visions are a little older, and I'm having more dreams, so what does that tell you?

And I'm telling you, it scared me. And so we got together, and I got Dad's old dreams, and I had a journal called the

Dream Journal, Vision Journal. And I got together, and I put it together of what we believed was going to happen.

We've already mentioned that if people like Perry Stone, Sarah Young, Bill Johnson, Heidi Baker, etc.

are still receiving prophecies directly from God, whatever the method, then first, the canon of Scripture isn't truly closed.

Christians need to listen to. Needless to say, it's extremely dangerous to point people toward your supposed direct revelation from God rather than simply to what

Scripture clearly teaches. Rob Parsley is a prominent

American Christian minister, author, television host, and evangelist. He is senior pastor of World Harvest Church, a large

Pentecostal church in Canal, Winchester, Ohio. Parsley is yet another blatant proponent of the prosperity gospel.

But you're about to be blessed like you've never been blessed before, and some of you need to step into blessing, and you do that with an act of faith.

$300. Why is that significant? It's significant, number one, because it got your attention.

And it's significant, number two, because that's what the prophet of God spoke. You say, but I may not have $300 right now.

Well, what do you have? Do you have $100? Do you have $150? Take a step of faith toward God right now.

But everyone who wants to move to greatness, listen to the voice of God. $300.

Release it to God and watch greatness come. Absolutely sickening.

We've covered Creflo Dollar in some other videos already, so we'll keep it brief here. Creflo has been considered one of the worst proponents of the prosperity gospel.

Money, you get a money coming to me now. Not if you ain't send no money to him. Creflo recently supposedly repented of teaching the prosperity gospel.

But he said at least two things that undermined his supposed repentance. First, he said he wouldn't apologize.

I won't apologize because if it wasn't for me going down that route, I would have never ended up where I am right now.

And second, Creflo basically reaffirmed his belief in the prosperity gospel. I apologize that you hate the prosperity gospel, but that's still not going to stop his abounding provision.

So what was the purpose of Creflo's supposed repentance? It seems clear that he is just trying to lessen the big backlash against his ministry.

But he hasn't really changed. Sid Roth is the host of It's Supernatural.

Roth has said numerous thoughts that are wildly unbiblical. Here's an absolutely ridiculous clip of Roth teaching people how to pretend to speak in tongues, saying the quiet part out loud.

Raise your hands to the holy God and begin to pray in a language you've never been instructed.

If you don't move your tongue and speak, no one else will do.

Like many other teachers on the list, Roth has an obsession with signs, wonders, and miracles that leads him to teach and practice many things that are completely foreign to scripture.

LOL. Pope Francis is the head of the Roman Catholic Church, which denies the foundational doctrine of justification through faith alone.

Of course, he's a false teacher. Christine Kane is an

Australian activist, evangelist, author, and international speaker. Christine Kane teaches

Word of Faith theology. You and I have the opportunity to amaze God and allow

Him to marvel. I haven't seen that kind of faith on that university campus.

I'm going to do something extraordinary. See, God healed His servant. Jesus had healed many people before this.

But there was something about this man's faith that activated a miracle. This language of faith activating a miracle is textbook

Word of Faith language, and it's extremely dangerous because it puts the emphasis more on the power we have, the power of our faith, rather than on God and His power.

Kane also preaches to men and is deeply associated with T .D. Jakes, Joel Osteen, and Bethel Church.

Although I'm not aware of anything Kane has said that is blatantly heretical, for all of the issues we've covered, we would recommend staying completely away from Kane's ministry and teachings.

Jim Backer is an American televangelist. Backer grew his ministry through preaching the prosperity gospel, but he has since expressed repentance over these teachings.

The number one religious group filing bankruptcy right now are those who worship money, those who believe in prosperity as the sign of God's blessing upon them, and that is

God's love and God's blessing is their big cars, their big houses and all. They're filing bankruptcy equal to all the other religions put together.

God showed me in prison before I got out and He said, warn the people to stop loving the things of the world.

Why was Backer in prison? Well, he was convicted of raping his church secretary. Scandal arose when

Jim was alleged to have raped his church secretary, Jessica Hahn. The PTL ran into further problems when the

Backers were accused of defrauding their flock of donations for Heritage USA, a Christian theme park.

Allegedly, the Backers pocketed the excess funds and promised hotel stays that could not be fulfilled.

Jim was sentenced to 45 years in prison, serving only five. Backer continued doing ministry after getting out of prison and has expressed repentance over numerous issues.

Was Backer's repentance genuine? We can certainly take Backer at his word, but we would say that the problems that filled

Backer's past should disqualify him from current ministry. And there are certainly other, more reputable

Christian teachers we can learn from. Joseph Prince is the evangelist and senior pastor of New Creation Church, based in Singapore.

Prince is a blatant proponent of Word of Faith, prosperity gospel theology. You can say things like, you know, you look in the mirror and say,

I believe I'm the youngest -looking 40 -year -old. I believe I'm the youngest -looking 50 -year -old. I believe

I'm the youngest -looking 60 -year -old. It's not chapter and verse all the time. Amen. You look at your body and say, I believe

I have the healthiest 50 -year -old body. I have the healthiest. You can say that. It's not chapter and verse all the time.

And Prince and Osteen share a view of repentance that is completely unbiblical. Like Joel or me, preaching the

Word without using the word repentance sometimes. But people's minds are being changed all the time. From thinking this way negatively to thinking positively.

From depression to having a positive expectation of good. You know, repentance is going on all the time in Joel's church, in my church, and hopefully in your church as well.

But of course, repentance isn't just changing from thinking negatively to thinking positively.

It involves acknowledging and turning away from sin and rebellion. Beth Moore is an

American Anglican evangelist, author, and Bible teacher. There are numerous problems with Moore's teachings, including her rejection of the role of preaching on the

Lord's Day being restricted to men. Someone writes in to ask, would Christchurch ever want Nancy to speak on Mother's Day?

I assume that this question is coming from a recent flurry of women being asked to preach in church, ostensibly complementarian churches.

And her teaching that God speaks and reveals things directly to her. And I'm going to tell you as clear as I'm talking to you now, the

Lord spoke to my heart. The very few times I've ever heard God be this articulate with me.

And I'm telling you word for word, these words came into my heart. I'm not asking you to witness to him. I'm asking you to brush his hair.

Although I haven't really heard Moore teach something that's blatantly and irredeemably heretical, but for these reasons we've mentioned, and more, we certainly would not recommend

Moore's teachings at all. John Gray was an associate pastor at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church and then became the pastor of Relentless Church.

Being disconnected with Osteen kind of tells us what kind of pastor Gray is. Besides teaching the prosperity gospel and being unfaithful to his wife,

Gray also hosted a show called The Preachers, where he interviewed RuPaul about drag culture.

Can you explain, what is drag culture? Explain that to us, please. Well, you know, drag culture, people get transsexuals and drag confused all the time, and I can understand why.

That Gray would host and promote something like RuPaul without warning people about the problem of drag culture points towards the conclusion that Gray is not a pastor that Christians should be trusting for biblical doctrine.

We've talked about Carl Lance in some other videos, so we'll keep it brief here. Lance seems to want to be accepted by the culture so badly that he is unwilling to publicly call sin, sin.

So it's not a sin in your church to have an abortion? That's the kind of conversation we would have, finding out your story, where you're from, what you believe.

Yeah, I mean, God's the judge. Lance was also fired from Hillsong Church for having an affair with another woman.

Although I can't say I've heard Lance teach anything that's blatantly heretical, Lance is clearly a teacher that Christians should avoid.

We've covered Joyce Meyer in other videos, so we'll just say here that Meyer is a strong proponent of the prosperity gospel and has taught numerous heresies, such as the little gods doctrine.

Why do people have such a fit about God calling his creation, his man, not his whole creation, but his man, little gods?

If he's God, what's he going to call them but the God kind? Meyer doesn't seem to actively teach some of the heresies she has espoused, but she has never repented of them either.

Meyer is clearly a false teacher to avoid. Pat Robertson is an

American media mogul, religious broadcaster, political commentator, former presidential candidate, and former

Southern Baptist minister. Robertson essentially said that God told him Trump was going to win the election in 2020.

That doesn't mean you sit home and don't vote. That means you get up and do everything you can to work, but he's going to win.

Any supposed Christian teacher who makes false prophecies like these should be avoided because they are trying to convey that they are a special class of Christians who receive direct, special knowledge from God.

Robertson also denies the Bible's teaching concerning the age of the earth. And to say that it all came about in 6 ,000 years is just nonsense, and I think the time we come off of that stuff and say this isn't possible.

Although we don't think Robertson's belief here is necessarily heretical, it adds weight to the position that Robertson is not a trustworthy

Christian teacher. Jensen Franklin is an

American evangelical pastor, author, and televangelist. He is the senior pastor of Free Chapel, a multi -site church based in Gainesville, Georgia, and author of Right People, Right Place, Right Plan.

Like many other teachers on this list, Franklin teaches the prosperity gospel. Because God is a

God of abundance. God is a God of abundance, but you'll never experience it until you're fully persuaded that God wants to prosper you.

If you can believe, he's going to make a way for those kids to go to college. He's going to make a way.

That's why I feel so passionate about this stuff. It works for people who take hold of the promises.

Hallelujah. But the truth is that the Bible does not, in fact, make these kinds of promises for earthly prosperity.

And to point people towards these kinds of promises leads people to put their hope in the wrong thing completely.

C. Peter Wagner was known as the key leader of the church growth movement. Wagner was a leading figure in the

New Apostolic Reformation movement, which tells us where he is theologically. But I want to remind you that the

New Apostolic Reformation is the most radical change in the way of doing church since the Protestant Reformation.

That's what we're dealing with. That's what we're springing off into the 21st century with. The church isn't in need of something this new, especially something this new that has so many unscriptural foundations concerning miracles, signs, and wonders.

What the church actually needs is simple faithfulness to Scripture and the gospel. Kenneth Hagin was an

American preacher. He is known for pioneering the Word of Faith movement. One heretical doctrine within the

Word of Faith movement, which Hagin taught, is that when Jesus died, he went to hell and became the first person to ever be born again.

Jesus is the first person that was ever born again. But the language of being born again refers to salvation in Scripture, so there is simply no excuse at all for using it to refer to Jesus.

Paul Crouch was an American television evangelist. Crouch was also a strong proponent of the prosperity gospel and Word of Faith theology.

A key heretical doctrine of the Word of Faith movement that Crouch taught is the little God's doctrine.

I am a little God. Yes. Yes. I have his name. I'm one with him. I'm in covenant relation with him.

I am a little. Like the other prosperity gospel and Word of Faith teachers on this list,

Crouch is clearly a false teacher who should be completely avoided. Rodney Howard Brown is a

South African -born American evangelist. Brown is pretty much in the same category as Kenneth Copeland.

In fact, just watch Brown and Copeland talk to each other in quote -unquote tongues. So yeah, that happened.

Brown is a false teacher to be avoided, just like Kenneth Copeland. If you listened carefully, you'll notice that I didn't label every one of these teachers as a blatant false teacher, but I did say that Christians should avoid all of them.

That's because whether or not a Christian teacher falls clearly into the category of false teacher or not, if there are enough red flags about what they are teaching, they simply can't be trusted as a
