- Let's say somebody asks that question. They say, yeah, but how do you know that God isn't lying about the fact that he says he cannot lie, right?

- Like as though that were a problem. So what's the assumption there? Is that there's this ultimate standard of lie.

- Some type of objectivity. Of not lying that's out there and like you're borrowing that from somewhere.

- So where are you borrowing that from? Where do you get the justification to complain about something like that? What if he's lying?

- I would say in your worldview, if you don't take his word and his revelation as a starting point and you say something like, well, what if God is lying?

- I would say, is that a problem in your position? And from your position, is it a problem if he was?

- Because you see from my position, when I start with his word and his revelation of his own character as a reference point, lying is a serious problem because it goes against his own holy character.

- It's not like God is standing underneath this law that's above him that says, okay, here's the rules for God.

- Don't lie. Be holy, be righteous, be just. And okay, I got to make sure I'm doing all those things.
