Welcome to the program, ladies and gentlemen.
My name is Justin Peters.
I hope that this finds you and your family doing well today.
I want to thank you so much for joining me for this podcast.
The hypocrisy of Kenneth Copeland.
Now, there's so many things I could show to illustrate Kenneth Copeland's blatant hypocrisy on
so many things, but I'm going to keep this video pretty short.
I want to show you a video clip recorded last year, 2022, as
Kenneth Copeland was talking about how he began to notice gray hair in his
head and didn't like it, not one nary a bit.
So he talked to his gray hair and made it turn.
Black.
Watch this.
And so I began to speak to my hair.
It started turning gray.
Well, I went to him about this and I said, I don't care.
It's scriptural to become gray headed.
But you said you're doing this because of the word of faith.
So I'm going to talk to my hair.
I started talking to it and it started becoming gray all around.
And I said, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
I'm not having that.
Nope.
Nope.
Nope.
Nope.
No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Stand there in the, in the mirror and look at it and say gray hair by.
And it's gone.
Well, as the old saying goes, dear ones, I may have been born at night, but I wasn't born last night.
This was recorded last year of 2022.
Now Kenneth Copeland will be 87 years old this coming December
the 6th, 2023.
So, uh, at the time of this recording last year, he would have been 85 years
old going on 86 difference.
There is nobody on this planet that is going to convince me that an 85 year old
man has a head full of jet black hair.
Now, some men don't lose their hair.
That's just some, uh, I am, but, um, but there's no way, there's no way
that anybody's going to convince me that his hair is naturally black.
He didn't talk to his gray hair to make it turn black.
He's got a head full of Grecian formula or whatever it is that he's using.
Once your hair starts turning gray, especially by that age, uh, no way.
But, but I want to point out his utter hypocrisy because
literally in the very same sermon, I want to show you another clip from the same
sermon.
What you're about to hear is literally like six and a half minutes
after he claimed that he talked to his gray hair to make it turn black.
Six and a half minutes later, he says this.
And I got short of breath over in a.
Prison and for Mike Barber never did have any pain.
I got to kind of feel that my heart rate was up high.
So I got checked and they said, well, you need a pacemaker.
And I said, well, Lord, I'll just get that pacemaker by faith.
He said, no.
And he used an aviation term with me.
He said, you're too far behind the power curve.
He said, take the pacemaker by faith.
So I prayed over it.
So then they, the doctor had me on the table.
They don't put you completely out.
They have to build a pouch for this thing.
Well, I thought it was going to be about that big.
Well, come to find out it was, but the battery's about that big.
And so I said, well, pacemaker, you belong to me now.
That means you belong to God and you're in a Holy ghost body
and you're going to work right.
Well, it had a defibrillator in it.
So let me get this straight.
Kenneth Copeland has such a close relationship with God and his doctrine of positive confession
moves so thoroughly and freely and powerfully in him that he can command
gray hairs to turn black.
And yet, and yet he has a pacemaker in his chest
difference.
That is stunning.
Hypocrisy.
I went to the Mayo clinic website and let me just tell you, let me read to you here what they say about
pacemakers.
You may need a pacemaker.
If you have a slow or irregular heartbeat that lasts for a long time, also called
chronic, or you have heart failure.
So Kenneth Copeland has a slow or irregular heartbeat that he has had
chronically or he has heart failure.
And yet he teaches it as always God's will to be healed.
And yet he's, he can command gray hairs to turn black.
That is just stunning to me.
If you begin with a premise that it is always God's will to be healed and a person prays for that
healing for days, weeks, months, years, some people for decades, and the
healing does not come, then the question must be asked, whose fault is it?
By definition, it cannot be God's fault.
So the only other person to whom to look is the one who is sick.
If you're sick, it is your fault.
It is your lack of faith.
It is your lack of making the right positive confessions.
It is your lack of giving, lack of sowing enough seed into some minister's
ministry, or maybe you're not even saved.
But if you're sick, it's your fault that you are sick.
That is word of faith theology.
Kenneth Copeland is the grand puba of the word faith movement.
And lest you think I overstate their case, watch this clip from Kenneth
Copeland to add to his hypocrisy.
Watch.
Well, I don't understand why God healed them and he won't heal me.
Could it be
by some stretch of the imagination?
Oh, probably not.
But could it be.
That is your.
Fault and not God's?
Oh yeah.
Say it.
Oh yeah.
Could it be that it's your fault and not God's?
Oh yeah, says Kenneth Copeland.
Oh yeah.
That is the only conclusion to be fair to Kenneth Copeland.
That is the only conclusion one can draw if you have his theology, that it is always God's will to be
healed.
And this is not a one -off with Kenneth Copeland at all.
He has made statements like what you just heard many, many, many times.
So has Bill Johnson.
So has Jesse Duplantis.
So has all of the word faith slash NAR proponents.
And not only does Kenneth Copeland have a pacemaker, but he also has at least to some
degree arthritis.
He also has hearing aids in his ears.
And I mentioned this to several people.
It's been a long time since I've seen Gloria Copeland in public.
Long time.
Going on three years now, I think.
At least two.
She was not at the most recent Southwest Believers Convention.
That's their annual big shindig that they have at the Fort Worth Convention Center.
She wasn't there this past year.
She wasn't there the year before because I was there the year before.
So she wasn't there.
Something is going on with Gloria Copeland.
I don't know what exactly, but it's safe to say that she's not in good health.
I take no joy that Kenneth Copeland has a pacemaker or hearing aids or arthritis.
I take no joy that Gloria Copeland is sick with who knows what, but she obviously is.
I take no joy in these things.
But I do find it interesting.
It should be a massive clue to people that something is wrong
when what the faith preachers preach doesn't even work for them.
It doesn't even work for them.
And if you take what they teach to its logical conclusion,
it's Kenneth Copeland's fault that he has a pacemaker.
It's Kenneth and Gloria's fault that she's got whatever she's got right
now.
It's their fault that they're sick.
It's their fault.
So friends, if what any preacher is preaching doesn't work for them, that ought to be a
clue to them that there just might be something wrong with what they're preaching.
Mr. Copeland, if you happen to see this video, I will make the same plea to you now that I've made to
you before.
I do not hate you, but I do hate what you're doing because you are teaching false doctrine.
You're giving false prophecies.
You are putting words in God's mouth that he emphatically did not say.
You have taught some of the most jaw -dropping, blood -curdling heresies and blasphemies.
And as if that is not bad enough in and of itself, you attribute these very same
heresies and blasphemies to God himself because you claim that God has told
you these things.
You have attributed the source of your blasphemy to God.
You're not a Christian, and you have exploited the poor and the sick, the desperate and the widows for
personal financial gain for decades, for many decades.
And I've done videos on you before where you talk about how you're going to live to be 120.
You're not going to live to be 120 years old.
You're knocking on the door of 87 years of age.
You don't have much time left.
You're headed to hell.
I don't want that for you.
I would love to be able to call you my brother in Christ.
I would love that.
So I implore you like I've implored you before.
Repent of your sin.
Turn from your sin.
Confess your sin before Christ.
And if you will come to Christ in a true godly sorrow over your sin, then he
will save you.
If you will truly repent, he will save you.
Repent of your sin, Mr. Copeland.
Place your faith in the risen Lord Jesus Christ and what he accomplished on the cross.
And if you're truly repentant, then the fruit of that repentance will be that you will
come out and you will publicly acknowledge the blasphemies and heresies that you have taught
for so many decades.
You will come out and publicly acknowledge that you've been lying to people.
And you will acknowledge that you are not biblically qualified to be in
ministry.
And you will shut your ministry down.
And you'll find a good doctrinally sound church led by biblically qualified elders.
And you'll no longer be, you'll never ever again be behind the pulpit.
You'll be in front of the pulpit, sitting in a pew and learning.
That would be evidence of true repentance.
That's what a true repentant heart will look like.
All right, dear ones, thank you very much for joining me.
Until our next time together, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of his Holy Spirit
be with you all.
