Welcome to the program ladies and gentlemen, my name is Justin Peters.
I hope that this finds you and your family doing well today.
I want to thank you so much for joining me.
That short clip was of a woman named Nancy Dufresne.
Dufresne is the pastor of World Harvest Church in Murrieta, California.
Now many of you have heard me say before if you go to a church that has a female pastor.
You haven't either a pastor nor do you have a church.
But women preaching with men and even pastoring churches at a standard fare in the
charismatic movement.
But Nancy Dufresne is a good friend of Kenneth Copeland and she is Preaching this
week at the Southwest Believers Convention in Fort Worth, Texas.
This is Kenneth Copeland's annual big shindig when he brings in all of his word faith
Buddies guys and gals to preach at his convention.
I've been to several of these.
I am NOT in attendance this year because I'm well, I'm just not able to make it this year.
I'm up in Montana but I I have been kind of spot -checking it on YouTube because it's been live streamed
and It's popped up in my feed and I've watched just a little bit of it, but I've seen enough
to where my conscience once again is Greatly offended and when you see
this, I think your conscience will be offended, too.
I want to show you some of the just a small sampling and I've not watched all the whole thing
not by any stretch probably less than 10 of What they've been putting on at the convention this
year, but I've seen enough just to I feel compelled to do this video.
I want I want you to see just a little glimpse a little snapshot of how
Cruel the word of faith movement is and how cruel The charlatans are
who lead this movement and who exploit the poor and the sick.
Nancy Dufresne has a daily program called Jesus the healer and Of course this
I mean you go to a Southwest Believers convention poorly named but that's the emphasis.
I mean all every single session.
Every session that I've ever seen whether on YouTube or in person in one of these every
single one of them deals with prosperity in healing.
But Nancy Dufresne, she's like all of them.
She's she's a healer and She's about to heal some people.
But before you can heal people at a charismatic convention or church or whatever
before the healing starts.
You've got to whip people up into an emotional frenzy.
Let's watch just a little bit of this.
But I know this you don't have to wait for Circumstances to change and be
joyful before you're joyful.
You want to know why you brought your own joy.
Now Celebrate and get that.
You see you gotta whip people up into emotional frenzies in which they are.
Expecting something to happen and their emotions have got to be up.
They've got a this is part of peer pressure group dynamics.
You've got to whip people up into these frenzied emotional states because it is only then
that miracles ever Seem to happen, you know, you got to play on people's emotions.
Just like Jesus did and the Apostles did.
Oh wait.
No.
No, they didn't do that ever but it's an Essential part
of the charismatic movement.
Now, listen to what she says here.
She's actually going to call people to come forward who have a terminal
illness.
I'm going to call and please just Listen to what I call
for and only answer in line with what I call for.
If you are terminally ill meaning the doctors have Said
there is no cure you they have given you it's a death sentence.
Now.
I know this some conditions May last for the rest of your life, but they won't shorten your life.
I'm not talking about that.
I'm talking about if the doctors have given you no hope.
Come up here.
So people with a terminal illness began to come forward and form a line right in
front of Nancy Dufresne.
One of the ladies that came up was this woman and I noticed as she came up.
She actually ran up in the line and I thought that's weird.
You know, here's someone that she specifically called for people with a terminal illness in.
This lady actually ran up I mean briskly ran up right to the front very quickly and I thought
that doesn't really look like someone who has a terminal illness.
More on that in just a minute because it's going to take a tragic turn.
But watch what she says here in this clip.
She's going to tell people there's nothing that you can't praise your way out of.
Now I know this.
Words have been spoken to you By medical people and they're
they're doing all they can to help you.
They're doing all they know, but I want you to know.
You've heard words today you've heard words today and You get to trump
those words that are against what God says with the words you heard today.
Can I tell you this.
There's nothing you can't praise your way out of.
There's nothing you can't praise your way out of.
There's nothing you can't praise your way out of.
There's nothing You can't praise your way out of and it's not a moment of
praise.
It's a lifestyle a lifestyle of praise every day every day releasing your
faith in the power of God.
There's nothing you can't praise your way out of so the not -so -subtle insinuation
is is that if you leave When the convention is over if you leave with the same
sickness in the same wheelchair, it's your fault.
It's not the woman of God's fault.
No.
Not Nancy Dufresne's fault because she has the healing power in her and we'll hear this in just a little bit.
The healing power in Her will be transferred to whomever she touches.
So if you don't receive your healing, it's not her fault you see it's Your fault.
It's the sick person's fault because they didn't have enough faith or they just didn't praise God
enough.
Praise their way out of it or give enough, you know, cuz that's a big part of this too.
You got a sow seed to reap a harvest so watch this.
Listen to what she says and As I play this clip notice the elderly
lady and the lady in a wheelchair.
Watch carefully.
So this is more emotional.
Manipulation whipping people up into these frenzied emotional states in which they are expecting
something to happen.
Notice the elderly woman here and the lady in the wheelchair.
Here.
Watch what's going to happen in this clip.
You're going to hear Nancy Dufresne tell people that when hands are laid on
you There will be healing power that will flow into your body.
That will get rid of every sickness and disease every pain and all that kind of stuff.
It's going to leave you when hands are laid on you that pain that sickness is going to
leave.
This is creating in people an Expectation.
So there this is again.
This is the emotional manipulation.
Creating in people this belief that something is about to happen.
Watch.
Congregation, would you reach your hands out toward these release your faith with them father?
We thank you.
Those of you that are up here.
Those of you that are up here raise your hands and say this out loud when hands are laid on me the
healing power of God.
The miracle power of God will go into my body.
It will drive out pain and symptoms sickness and disease.
For I am the whole.
The miracle working power of God will go into my body when hands are laid on
me so that is creating in people this Expectation that something
is about to happen.
She is about to go up to this elderly woman, and I want you to listen very
carefully To what this elderly woman's problem health problem is.
Watch and listen carefully.
Behold in Jesus name.
Somebody.
Would you get a chair?
Can you grab a chair and put behind her.
Grab a chair and put behind her, please?
She has a feeding tube.
Yeah.
She has a feeding tube a feeding tube.
This poor woman is obviously very very sick.
Just put it behind her father.
We thank you.
Oh there there goes that power.
Oh there goes in your love there.
It goes in you There it goes in you There it goes in you.
Yeah Yeah.
Behold in Jesus name.
There it goes in your love there.
It goes in you the power of God there.
It goes in your love and she just passes on by.
That woman has not been healed nothing happened to her nothing just went
into her.
This is Cruelty this is abject Cruelty.
That woman hasn't been been healed of anything.
Well, Justin.
How do you know I've been to these things?
I have been to 18 Benny Hinn crusades.
I've been to Kenneth Copeland conventions.
I've been to Joyce Myers Church.
I've been to Lakewood.
I've been to Creflo dollar.
I've been to Jesse Duplantis.
I've been to these things.
I know how it works.
I've seen these people.
I've talked with these people.
Nothing went into her other than false.
Hope.
That went into her probably false.
Hope.
And so right after she leaves this poor woman.
She comes up to this lady.
You remember her the lady with a terminal illness and yet ran up to the platform.
Well, we're about to hear what this terminal illness actually is.
Behold in Jesus name.
What what's with the baby?
They declare no heartbeat.
We say live live in Jesus a.
Baby with no heartbeat.
That's the terminal illness.
This woman has a baby in her womb who has apparently died.
In Jesus name in Jesus name.
No worries. No worries. No worries.
Worry closes the door to the power of God.
Celebrating opens the door.
No worries, no worries.
You see just celebrate because worry will block the healing you got to celebrate.
Worry will block the healing.
So so if you're.
She is actually telling this woman in not so many words if your baby does not
come back to life.
Which it won't.
It's your fault because you worried too much.
You see you didn't celebrate enough.
So you're dead baby inside your womb, yeah, that's your fault not mine.
No.
Because the power of God is in these hands you see and it just flows through me into you.
And if it doesn't get into You like it should.
Well, it's because you blocked it.
It's your fault that you have a dead baby in your womb.
But undeterred Nancy Dufresne continues her campaign of cruelty.
It's not for you.
Yeah, you got a cloth.
Can you get this cloth to him?
Yeah, father I thank you for this anointing going into this cloth when it's laid upon the body of her daughter.
It will drive out pain symptoms sickness and disease and she shall be whole in Jesus name.
Well, this lady wasn't terminally ill.
No her daughter is her daughter is Terminally ill and
Nancy Dufresne gives her this Cloth and says the healing of power the
anointing will go in this cloth.
And when you lay this on your daughter, it will be transferred to her and she shall recover.
Well, no, she shall not.
This is a this is a parlor trick that they've taken what is recorded in
Acts 19 Where Paul there were handkerchiefs and aprons being taken from the
Apostle Paul and God was healing the sick at Distances remotely through the agents of these
handkerchiefs and aprons, but even in Acts 19.
It says that these were Extraordinary miracles of healing that were being done
at the hands of the Apostles.
This is not something that continues today.
There are no more Apostles today.
Nancy Dufresne sure as heck ain't one and you can't Transfer an anointing into a piece of
cloth and then in turn it goes into Someone who is sick this woman's daughter
and this woman isn't very old.
I mean, I don't know maybe 70 ish or so.
So her her daughter is probably I don't know somewhere around 40 early
40s something like that a Young woman and she's dying.
So when this lady takes this Stupid piece of cloth and lays it on her
terminally ill daughter.
Nothing is going to happen.
But no big deal for Nancy Dufresne.
No skin off her back.
No, she just goes to the next person the lady in the wheelchair.
Hole in Jesus name behold in Jesus name
Behold in Jesus name there it goes in you
Behold Behold in Jesus name Behold
in Jesus name Behold in Jesus name behold
in Jesus name Behold in Jesus name behold.
Are these more?
Can you bring them up here?
If you would come up here, we'll minister to you.".
There it goes in you, love.
There it goes.
Well, no, nothing went in you, love.
Nothing went into that woman.
Nancy Dufresne just passed over and went to the next person, the next person, and there you saw the
woman in the wheelchair, remained in the wheelchair, and then just started turning around in circles.
Nothing went into her.
There is no more healing power in Nancy Dufresne than there is in a monkey wrench.
Nothing happened other than giving this woman false hope.
When Jesus healed, when the apostles healed, it was instant
and it was total, complete, and it was undeniable.
You do not see New Testament kind of healings in the
charismatic movement today, ever, at.
All.
Undeterred, Nancy Dufresne continues her campaign of cruelty.
Watch this.
Behold!
So, this woman clearly had cancer.
You could tell that from the headband that she was wearing.
Undoubtedly, she's losing her hair from chemo.
You can tell by looking at her.
She is a very, very sick woman.
But remember, Nancy Dufresne has the healing touch, the healing power,
and it flows out of her into whomever it is she touches.
If it doesn't go into you, well, it ain't Nancy's fault.
No, that would be your fault.
Your lack of faith, your lack of giving, your lack of praising enough,
your lack of positive confessions.
If it's always God's will to be healed, that's the premise with which you begin.
If it's always God's will to be healed and the healing does not come, then by definition it can't be God's fault.
And goodness knows, Nancy Dufresne and Kenneth Copeland and all the wolves
and wolfettes there, they're not going to take responsibility for it.
No, if you're sick, it's your fault.
It's this woman's fault.
So, that was day two of the Southwest, I like to call it, Unbeliever's Convention
because Kenneth Copeland and his ilk are not believers.
That was day two, and now I want to show you a clip from day four.
So, Nancy Dufresne is up to bat again, it's her turn to preach again, day four.
So, this would have been, actually this is earlier today as of this recording, August.
The 1st.
Watch this and listen to, listen.
Who Nancy wants to call up to the front.
This go around.
Hallelujah, I'm going to do something, and we want to do this quickly, but what I
had in my heart, I want to minister to those who have metal rods,
plates, or screws, and listen to this, that it's causing you pain,
difficulty, or lack of mobility.
Now sometimes people have those and they're perfectly fine, you know, they
might have a rod inserted down a leg and it's perfectly fine, they have no difficulty.
Because of limited time, I want us to go ahead and make sure we get those specifically who are
dealing with pain or limited mobility, so that you come up here, metal
rods, plates or screws.
Why am I calling for that?
Because there's an endowment upon us to minister to those, to those who have
that difficulty, that condition.
And let me say this to you.
I am not praying for the sick here.
I am imparting a tangible anointing.
There's a difference.
There's a difference because God has anointed us with a tangible
anointing for healing.
So I'm not praying for God to heal.
I'm taking that which we're anointed with and I'm laying hands on and imparting.
What's that mean?
It goes through me before it goes through you.
Okay, so on day four, she's calling for people with rods, plates and or screws
that cause you pain, discomfort, limit your motion.
These are the people that she wants to come up to the front today.
And notice how she says, we're not praying for people.
She is transferring an anointing that comes out, flows out of
her, out of her little hands there that goes right into the person
that she lays her hands on, that she touches.
So she is like this battery of supernatural healing
power and her arm, her hands are this conduit of this supernatural
healing.
Forgive me for scraping the microphone there.
And so the power flows out of her into whomever it touches.
So if the power doesn't go through, it ain't her fault.
No, it's your fault.
It's the sick person's fault.
So with all of that in mind, listen to this story that she's about to tell because it's
going to be very, very pertinent to our last clip.
Let me tell you something that happened with my husband on one occasion.
He was ministering to somebody who their back had been
basically put in a frozen condition because they had to insert just a
straight rod up a man's, a portion of his back.
And so he had limited mobility.
My husband ministered to him, laid hands on him and he just, as soon as he had lay hands laid, just went over,
touched his toes, complete mobility, complete freedom.
So he thought God had replaced that rod with
new vertebrae, new spine.
So the man went, while my husband was there in town, still he went to the doctor, had an x -ray
done and he was expecting to hear that report.
The doctor came back and said, who put hinges in this rod?
And the man was disappointed because it wasn't turned into a spine.
I don't care how God does it.
He caused the rod to behave like a bone.
That's a miracle.
That's a miracle.
That's a miracle.
Yep.
That would be a miracle.
All right.
By definition, that would be a miracle if that happened, but it didn't.
It's a lie.
All of these people, friends, I've watched these folks for too long.
They all have these wild, spectacular claims of
amazing miracles and healings and all this kind of stuff, but there is never any
proof.
They just expect you to take their word for it because they're the man of God or the woman of
God in this case, you see.
There's never any proof.
If you watch these charismatic preachers, Word Faith and most, to be fair, most, not
all, but most charismatic preachers, they spend 90,
I'll just say almost all charismatic.
Preachers.
They spend 95 of their time behind the pulpit
telling stories, not exegeting scripture, not expositing scripture.
They just get up and tell stories.
Go to Kenneth Copeland's YouTube channel and pick one of these
services.
They're on there right now.
Just go to one at random and start listening.
I guarantee 95 chance you're going to hit on a story or a tale that they're
telling rather than reading, much less explaining scripture.
So long on claims, very, very short on proof.
So my question would be, where's the proof?
Where's the beef?
Remember those, where's the proof?
There is no proof, not for any of these claims.
They just lie to you.
They lie to you, shamelessly lie to you.
Okay.
Now watch this clip as Nancy Dufresne is about to start transferring the healing anointing
to people in this line.
Now, she's going to go up to a lady in kind of like a pinkish salmon colored blouse.
And then she's going to watch the lady in the black and white.
Watch what happens to her.
Dear friends, that woman went down hard.
At all of these meetings, they have catchers, you know, the brute squad that's there to.
Beat it or I'll call the brute squad.
I'm on the brute squad.
You are the brute squad.
To catch people when they are slain in the spirit, to give them a safe landing, which doesn't
make sense in and of itself.
I mean, why, if the Holy Spirit is the one knocking people over, if he's strong enough to do that, is he
not also strong enough to lower them down gently so they don't hurt themselves?
The very fact that you have the brute squad behind all of these people is
self -evident proof for anyone who has just a couple of firing neurons
up here to think, no, wait.
A minute.
This doesn't make sense.
Why would the Holy Spirit knock someone over and then risk them injuring themselves?
So we have to have catchers there.
Just a little common sense.
But this woman landed hard.
She pretty much bounced and I mean, she's not old, but she's older.
I mean, that's a recipe for a broken hip right there.
And by the way, there have been a lot of people injured in these meetings.
In fact, there's been a few people who have even died as a result of being slain in the.
Spirit.
There's some of these larger, the Benny Hinn crusades, for example, there's an example.
Of that happening.
Gosh, it's been, I don't know, 25 or more years ago, but I remember coming across in some of my
research when I was writing my thesis on Benny Hinn.
But this is self -evident proof that this is not the work of the Holy Spirit.
But that, when I saw that, I winced.
That's dangerous.
Now, our final clip, remember, Nancy Dufresne called for people with
rods, plates, and screws to come forward.
And she gave the story of her husband and this person who was supposedly healed,
who had a rod in his back, and all of a sudden there were joints
in the rod itself that God supposedly put there.
So with that in mind, this great miracle of this man's back that never happened.
But with that in mind, watch this clip.
Now watch for the man, she's going to come up to a man in a blue shirt.
And so when you see them, that's your cue to watch very closely to the next person
that she comes up to.
So here we have Nancy Dufresne coming up to this man and ignoring him.
A man with an obviously deformed back, whose back is curved at just a
horrific angle there.
Obviously deformed.
You can see he's very, very short and his back is curved in just a way that makes you
wince for him.
And Nancy Dufresne ignores him.
She doesn't lay her hands on him.
I mean, I thought she had the healing anointing.
She doesn't try to transfer anything to him.
Doesn't touch him.
Doesn't even look at him.
Looks over him.
Pretends like he's not even there.
And this is right after, mind you, she told this fanciful story
about the supposed miracle that God did in this guy's back.
And here is a man with an obviously deformed back right, literally right in
front of her, and she pretends like he is not there.
So so far, quick recap, just in two sermons from her, we've seen the elderly
woman with a feeding tube, woman with a dead baby in her womb, woman with a
terminally ill daughter, lady in the wheelchair, woman with cancer, who's obviously
very sick, a woman who was slain in the spirit, went down hard and bounced when she hit the
floor because the goon squad didn't do their job.
And then this man with the bad back that she pretended like was not even
there.
Some of you have heard me say before that I don't hate Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland and in this case,
Nancy Dufresne.
I've never done a video on her up until now.
I don't hate them.
Nancy Dufresne, if you by chance happen to watch this video, I don't hate you.
I do hate what you're doing and what you're doing angers me.
What Kenneth Copeland, Jesse Duplantis and Benny Hinn and all these others do, it angers me and it should.
Psalm 119, 104, from your precepts, I get perception, I get understanding.
Therefore, I hate every false way.
I don't hate you, but I do hate what you are doing.
Not only because you are exploiting the poor, the sick, the desperate,
the widows, people with dying children for your own personal financial gain.
Not only because you're doing that.
Not only because you're lying to people and making up stories.
Not only because you're putting words in God's mouth that he did not say, which is
worse even than the exploitation of the poor and the sick, but the reproach that you are bringing upon the name of
Christ, untold reproach, preaching a false gospel.
You are not a Christian, Nancy Dufresne, neither is Kenneth Copeland, because there's no evidence of
the work of the Holy Spirit in your life.
If you were truly indwelt by the Holy Spirit of God, then you would be brought to your
knees under such heavy conviction for your lies, for your
heresies, for your exploitation of the poor and the sick, for your distortion of the
gospel.
But there is no conviction.
You continue to do these things year after year after year, decade after decade after.
Decade.
And I will, I love you enough to tell you the truth.
I've never met you, but I love you as a person because you're a person made in the image.
Of God.
I love you enough just on that basis to tell you the truth.
And the truth is, if you were to die right now, you would bust hell wide open.
And I don't want that for you.
If you are a person and you're watching this, maybe you went to the Southwest Believers
Convention and this popped up on your YouTube feed somehow.
Please flee from these wolves, these charlatans.
They are exploiting you with false words, exactly how Scripture describes false teachers.
I want all of you, Nancy Dufresne and Copeland and anyone who is in this movement, I want
you to know the true gospel.
And the true gospel is this, is that you are a sinner.
You have broken God's laws.
You're a liar.
You're a thief.
You're a blasphemer.
You have taken the name of God in vain, in word and in deed.
You're an adulterer at heart, at least because you have looked at other people with lust.
How do I know you've done that?
Because all of us have done that.
All of us are liars.
All of us are blasphemers.
All of us are adulterers at heart, at least.
And if you were to die in your sins, you would very rightly, very justly go to a very real place that the Bible
calls hell.
That's the bad news.
That's what you deserve.
But the good news of the gospel is this, that God has made a way for you to
escape his own.
Wrath.
He sent his son, Jesus Christ, to this earth, and Jesus lived as the God -man, one
person with two distinct natures, the God -man, and Jesus lived a
perfect life to the perfect pleasure and satisfaction of God the Father, willingly gave his life
on the cross.
His life was not taken, he gave it.
Satan didn't take his life, he gave it on his own.
And on the cross, Jesus bore the wrath of God that burns against the sins of his people.
Jesus took that wrath upon himself, died on the cross, and by the way, right before he
died he said, it is finished, not to be continued down in hell like Kenneth Copeland
and all these other charlatans teach, it is finished.
When Jesus died on the cross, then he went to heaven to be with the Father,
and his body stayed in the tomb for three days.
On the third day, bodily raised from the dead, proving himself to be who he said he was, God in human flesh.
And if you will come to Christ empty -handed, if the weight of your sin
is on you right now, if you feel that weight, that's a good thing.
If you grieve over your sin, it's not enough to just admit you're a sinner.
Almost everyone when pressed will admit they're a sinner.
But if you grieve over your sin, if your sin weighs on you and you grieve over it because you
understand that your sin grieves God, if you have that godly sorrow that Paul talks in 2
Corinthians 7, a godly sorrow that leads to repentance unto salvation,
seeking a Savior not only from hell, which you should, but seeking a Savior from your sin,
and if you will come to him, confess your sins, cry out to him, ask him to forgive you,
he will.
He will save you.
Jesus says, the one who comes to me, I will in no wise cast out.
Come to him, cry out to him.
If you're truly sorry for your sin, he will save you.
And if you truly get saved, if God saves you, there will be
fruit in keeping with repentance.
And for Nancy Dufresne and Kenneth Copeland and Jesse Duplantis and Benny Hinn and Bill Johnson and Chris
Vallotton and all these others, if you truly get saved, here's how it will be evidenced.
Here will be the fruit of that.
You will realize that you are not qualified to be in the ministry.
You will come out and you will confess openly and publicly that you have been lying to people.
You have been teaching heresies.
You have been giving false prophecies.
You have been putting words in God's mouth that he did not say, that you have been manufacturing and faking signs and
wonders, fake signs, fake wonders, making up stories, exploiting the poor, the sick, the desperate, and the
widows.
You'll confess to all of this.
Public sin requires public repentance.
And then you will shut your ministry down because you'll realize that you are
not qualified to be behind the pulpit.
If you truly get saved, if you truly get saved at best, I mean, you will be a
baby Christian and you will realize I'm not qualified to be preaching.
So I'm shutting it down.
I'm going to exhibit Zacchaeus kind of repentance, Luke 19.
I'm shutting it down.
I'm shutting the doors of Kenneth Copeland ministries and Nancy Dufresne and all that.
I'm shutting it all down.
I'm selling everything the ministry has down to the last pencil.
And I'm giving that money to doctrinally sound ministries, doctrinally sound churches.
I'm shutting it down.
I'm going to get a secular job and I'm going to join a good doctrinally sound church led by
biblically qualified men who do expositional preaching, who practice
church discipline, believers baptism, Lord's Supper,
plurality of elders, and I will no longer be behind.
The pulpit.
I'll be in the front of the pulpit, sitting in the pew learning.
That will be the fruit of your repentance.
And anything less than that is not true repentance.
But I do want that for you.
I do.
All right, dear ones, thank you very much for watching.
Until our next time together, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of his Holy Spirit
be with you all.
By the way, dear ones, if you have not heard about it yet, that we are having a cessationist conference, October 3rd
through 5th, First Baptist Church, Mustang, Oklahoma.
This will be a really good conference.
All of the information down below in the description.
Here's a trailer.
The church today is infected with the influences of the charismatic movement.
God told me who I would marry.
When God spoke to me, I like heard it so clear.
As clear as I'm talking to you now, the Lord spoke to my heart.
God spoke to us audibly.
I hear the audible voice from God.
The word that the Lord gave me.
He told me that everything I was feeling in my spirit was correct.
I know that this is what the Holy Spirit has spoken to me.
That's the word God spoke to me.
Charismatic theology has affected so much of our theology in ways that we don't often.
Recognize.
Man, I tried for years to speak in tongues.
Don't speak in English.
Don't think English.
Yes, the mind says it's weird, but the spirit says, hello, this is awesome.
Fake miracles, false tongues and non -authoritative prophecy.
A prophet is one who has God's words put in his mouth.
If you are not earnestly desiring spiritual gifts, especially prophecy, you are sinning.
They don't have a single prophet who has been 100 % accurate.
What does the New Testament say prophecy is?
What does the New Testament say tongues are?
What does the New Testament say the gifts of healing are?
Let's compare them to the contemporary charismatic Pentecostal movement, and what you find out is
the two don't match.
It teaches people to look away from the Bible to some experience.
Deep down, charismatics are riddled with doubts about what they believe.
Is God's word sufficient?
Is God's word enough?
Dreams, visions, those sort of things inspired me to love Jesus, to obey him more.
Join us in October of 2024 for the Cessationist Conference.
The church must once again stand with a renewed confidence in God's sufficient word.
We hope to see you there.
