The local church still matters.

The local church matters primarily because it matters to Jesus Christ.

It matters because the Bible says so.

The local church matters because the local church stands for something, it believes truths in the Bible.

It matters because God said it matters.

Scripture's teaching on it still matters.

The church matters.

The Church as the Center of God’s Kingdom Work

The church is the centerpiece, the focal point of God's kingdom work in this world.

And so that's why we may go to church.

The local church is also important because we were made to worship corporately.

The local church matters because you have a group of people who are different, but linked together through faith.

In 1 John 4, it says that when we love one another, then people see God. All of this happens in the community of the local church.

In Ephesians 5, we hear or read how men should love their wives as Christ loves the church and gave himself up for the church.

1 Corinthians is littered with condemnation against division and called a unit of local.

Believers.

Hebrews 10 .25, the Bible tells us that we are not to forsake the assembling together of ourselves.

In Matthew 16, Jesus promises that he is going to build his church.

Christ’s Love for the Church and the Call to Gather

The local church still matters.

It's because Jesus came to die and to redeem the church.

The church matters that much to Jesus and it should matter as much to us all.

Because the church is the place where God has promised his presence.

When we attend a local church, we should be encouraged, we should be challenged, we should be held accountable, and most importantly, we are taught the word.

Joining a Local Church as a Public Commitment

The local church still matters.

When you unite with and join a local church, you're saying that these truths define you and you want to live by these truths as well.
