This is a ministry of striving for eternity. Let's take a biblical view of intersectionality.
01:21
Now, intersectionality is this idea that everyone has to divide themselves up into different parts of victim groups that they're in so that they can understand their own victim status.
01:33
So the idea is that everybody sees themselves as part of a group of victims.
01:40
So you have African Americans. You have homosexuals. You have women versus men.
01:47
All these groups that say they're being victimized, and therefore there's a status for each of them. Now, when we look at this biblically, there's a core issue that's wrong with this.
01:56
And what's wrong with it biblically is that we see God created every individual unique.
02:03
They're all, every one of them, is made in the image of God. Therefore, God would see every individual as being special, not seeing them as victims, not seeing them as needing some extra support, but being that they're made unique in the eyes of God.
02:21
So they would serve to glorify Him in a way different from everybody else. Now, intersectionality looks to group people together by victimhood and then try to find a kindred spirit there.
02:35
Instead of looking the way God looks at people, that He creates every one of them individually made, unique from everyone else, and special.
02:45
So they're all made in the image of God. They're image bearers of God and not victims.
