You tearing down high places, a special edition for episode 42. God's mercy on America.

So now you may be wondering why is average Joe all alone? Where's pastor Jeff. Where's pastor

Tim. Wait a minute. This is the first week of the month. We're supposed to have pastor Seth on and you may have heard pastor

Ivan. I mean, elder Ivan was on the show too. And we did, we went live on Wednesday and something interesting happened.

So, uh, we got excited, right? So everybody's excited about, uh, the election returns on Tuesday.

And I had no clue myself that we're actually, we're actually going to know who won much, uh, a lot of surprises, right?

I hope everyone else was so grateful, as grateful as I was, uh, for God's providence over this, uh, this election anyway, uh, the podcast, um, was recorded live on at one o 'clock.

I think we had 70 some views. Um, then, and you know, yeah. So, as I mentioned,

Ivan Solero was, was on, uh, and by the way, if you didn't know the whole podcast at Cornerstone was

Ivan Solero's brainchild. So, uh, just so you know that. And, uh, and we had pastor

Seth from Wisconsin who pastor Seth like, uh, us being next to Pennsylvania was out there in a, uh, one of the seven swing

States that were taken by Donald J. Trump. Uh, he, you know, he hit,

I'm sure you've heard by now that he hit all the swing States. Um, but apparently on one of the channels, actually the channel you're watching this on, uh, we got a little carried away, started talking about Maha make

American health, make America healthy again. And, uh, there was some things we said that got the show taken down.

So on, uh, on this channel, uh, that you're watching right now, um, the actual episode 42,

God's mercy on America will not be here. So instead of editing that video and taking the content out, we thought it was a great opportunity to let you know, it's not the only channel that we're on.

Right. So we're on a whole bunch of different channels. And so I'm going to share with you the other channels that we're on.

I'm trying to get the word of Jesus out, trying to tell people, you know, what

Jesus wants of us, uh, not for salvation, of course, but for sanctification.

Well, how can we become better Christians? What can we do to impact the culture? How can we love our neighbor better?

This is what the show's about, right? So if you, if you wanted to tell someone what, so what's your, what's your church podcasted about?

Why isn't it your sermons? What's the difference? Well, you know, you can tell them about what tearing high places means tearing high places is a reference to the book of Kings, you know, in the book of Kings, a lot of the

Kings. Did what was right in their own eyes. Those were the evil Kings, but even the good

Kings neglected to tear down the high places. They left little areas of social compromise and got into this cyclical pattern of sin.

Right. And we all know about that. So this is what we're trying to do, uh, as a podcast is to reach out to other

Christians, um, bless other Christians that, um, uh, you know, might not be getting the same information you're getting in church.

If you're, um, at a really good blood red church and, Oh, by the way, we always want to hear about blood red churches, right?

We want to hear about anybody who's got a pastor who's out there. Being Nathan to David, telling the culture where they need, uh, where they need to change in order to obey

God's law, because they're accountable. God's law, whether, no matter what they, it doesn't matter what they believe.

God doesn't, God allows them to believe other things, but it doesn't matter what they believe they're accountable to God.

So we went, uh, we want to have Nate, we want to, we want to give accolades to pastors who are

Nathan to David, and that's our red church pastor nomination, uh, there that we're going to have, uh, an event later on this year.

So let's go real quick. I, this is going to be a super short episode. So thanks for hanging in there real quick.

I'm going to show you where, where we're going for, do, do, do, do for our different channels, right?

So this is our YouTube channel, right? Thank you so much. Your YouTube channel has done really well.

We've gotten, uh, we've we're up to 1700, 1730 subscribers. I think when we started the podcast, we were around, we're over 900, uh, but not over a thousand at that point.

So now we're at seven 1730 plus they always put 1 .73 K right.

And if you ever go to YouTube, the easy way to get there at cornerstone church

SJ, that's our YouTube handle. So you don't need to give out the whole HTTP colon slash slash dub, dub, dub, dot, all that stuff.

That's not necessary. Just tell them, go to YouTube and at cornerstone church SJ, and then they can get to the whole podcast.

But then some people say, well, how do I get around there that you might get lost? So real quick, if you want to get to the podcast up here at the top.

So this, this will be the home. This is where you'll end up when you start, go up to, you can go to videos.

That'll give you all the videos, right? So you got sermons, you've got on Sunday sermons, you've got

Wednesday study groups, you've got women's study groups, you know, and then you see mixed in there, um, the podcast, you've got baptisms, all kinds of good things.

So everything you're going on is under videos. And you've got shorts, a short was historically defined as 60 seconds or less.

They just changed that up three minutes, but we're actually trying to go the opposite direction. We're trying to put out shorts that are 15 to 30 seconds in length, uh, because we can get a high percentage of that video watched that helps.

What's called the algorithm, right? Everybody's trying to manipulate the algorithm.

We want to promote the podcast. We want to, we want to share God's word. We want to be evangelical.

So in sharing this and being effective, the way to do it is to get high percentage views on short videos.

So if you get these videos, um, the, the idea is, you know, hopefully it'll watch the whole thing.

Please share these. If you're, if you're ever bored and you're on, you know, you're on social media, don't know what to do.

Go on over to the cornerstone church website, grab some links to some shorts and just share them.

You know, there's, there's tons of them and they go back to, uh, lots of different episodes and, uh, you know, they're not just, uh, that were sermons.

I should show you, I, you know what, since we're doing this, I'll just pop up the cornerstone website as well.

Uh, cornerstone sj .org. And if you go to sermons, all right, you can go here.

You can search all those old sermons. Right. And it's, it's all kinds of things, right?

So you can search by the speaker. You can search by a sermon series.

In a lot of cases, that's a book of the Bible, right? So you can, you just scroll down through all, through all those, uh, service little, little more broad.

And then yeah, these are just books of the Bible. So if you remember pastor

Jeff preaching something, it was powerful for you and you think we should share it. Let me know. We'll make a, we'll make a short out of that.

Uh, so again, thank you so much for what's, um, transpired here on the, uh, on the podcast, uh, we're, we're doing like on any day where we're getting between, this is, this is a day chart.

So number of views we're getting on any given day is, uh, generally, you know, in the, uh, close to a hundred, uh, per day, uh, as many as, uh, two 73 looks like the high.

Uh, so over the last month, 3 ,600 views, uh, watch time, 280 hours.

Just, uh, really grateful for what we've done here. Of course, you know, this is one episode that got 61 ,000 views is, uh, it's still kicking.

We got 1500 views last month on that, on that podcast. Uh, so that's great.

But, uh, well, let's talk about what we can do. Um, what we can do to, to keep this going, right?

So what, what we need help with is, um, first of all, subscribe.

If you're not subscribed, I think you're subscribed on a lot of, if you're a church member,

I think you're probably subscribed to the YouTube page. If you're not, please do, but please subscribe to the other platforms that we have coming along the screen here on the bottom.

Um, and it, it will be in the show notes. So you don't have to write this down. Okay. I'm just saying just it's in the show notes.

So if, if you go to YouTube, it's in the show notes also, um, leave a review.

If there's an opportunity to leave a review, it's a different process for each site, right? So YouTube rumble, um,

Right. So what does that mean? Was that, you know, just put a like, you know, that much, you know, uh, you can comment, you can share, uh, any engagement that you do.

It greatly enhances the, the, um, the algorithm. Right. And, um, that's it.

So let's take a real close look at the other channels here. So I was showing you, uh,

YouTube here and that's some of our activity. Uh, Spotify is, uh, is a place you can go, uh, and you can, uh, join on there.

Pretty simple, pretty simple to get there. Um, we don't have a lot of activity there.

We really don't have, uh, um, uh, much going on.

If you would like to just go and sign up for notifications on that, it would just be really helpful.

Um, you know, so that we could, uh, get some, get some activity there. Um, we do have all the episodes up there.

All right. And, uh, you know, this is also a place where you can listen to it audio easily.

So for your friends that want to listen to audio now, we're doing a lot better on tearing down high places with only 34 followers, you know, we get 50 to a hundred views per episode.

So on that, so that's great. And, and rumbles one of those channels where it doesn't matter what we say there, they're not, they're not policing us.

Um, you know, they don't have the same community standards as some other, uh, websites have.

So we like rumble like rumble for that, but, uh, you know, we're very invested in, I was talking to pastor

Jeff about this. We're very invested in YouTube. We've, we've had a lot of input in there, so we definitely want to keep that going.

But we want to want to grow these other channels, um, and see if, uh, we can bless some people with some content as well.

All right. So then there's X, um, this is really, I think the easiest one to get to at tearing down HP, right?

So at tearing down HP, if you go in and follow that page, um, that's huge.

Use your URL as well. If you've got a link there, if you don't, I mean, just, you know, go sign up it's free, um, on X and, uh, we're putting whole episodes up there.

We have the ability to put up a whole episode on X, uh, and it is completely, again, just like rumble, the community standards situation that we may run into and other places where it may not be a takedown like this episode was, but we certainly get what's called shadow band on some other channels where, yeah, they just don't prefer our content.

Right. So it's, it's not that they're, uh, necessarily supporting us on purpose, but yeah, so X X .com,

you know, that's, uh, Elon Musk's channel, right. That's the former Twitter. For those of you who weren't aware,

Twitter was purchased by Mr. Musk and, uh, it was absolutely critical actually in this last election.

So we want to support that as well. So, uh, I also have, uh, I have another personal, uh, page at saving

F hood. Uh, that's from saving fatherhood. That was an old podcast I used to have. So, um, yeah, but when you go on, on, on tearing down high places, what you want to do when you type something in, if you see something good, right, you go in, you make a comment and then you, then you write on there, you put your post and then you type in at tearing down HP and that'll go over to our page.

Right. So you can link to it. That's huge. And then if you're out there and you see your favorite, um, you know, publicity, you know, uh, personality, especially something that might, you know, put pastor
