Didaché - God to Jesse Duplantis: "I Need Your Opinion!"
In the latest episode of Didaché, Justin Peters critiques Jesse Duplantis's teachings, particularly his claims of receiving direct divine revelations. Peters highlights a specific instance where Duplantis boasts about God asking for his opinion, which Peters argues is a blatant example of heretical arrogance.

I bet you think God is omniscient, that he knows everything, right?
Oh no, not according to Jesse Duplantis he doesn't.
Welcome to the program, ladies and gentlemen.
My name is Justin Peters.
I hope that this finds you and your family doing well today.
Want to thank you so much for joining me.
Jesse Duplantis.
Jesse Duplantis is right up there with Kenneth Copeland in uttering some of the most jaw -dropping
heresies and blasphemies ever to disgrace the name of Christ within
professing, please do note my use of that term, professing Christianity.
And what makes Jesse Duplantis so egregious is that almost all of the
heresies that he has taught over the decades, he claims divine revelation
knowledge for.
In other words, he claims that God gives him these heresies and blasphemies.
Jesse Duplantis, you see, gets in regular conversations with the Alpha and Omega.
They talk just as freely and openly as you might talk with your
friend or even your spouse.
I mean, they're quite chummy, God and Jesse Duplantis, those two.
I'm gonna say something, I'm gonna knock your socks off.
I am a man that's very close to the Lord Jesus Christ.
I live for God on a daily basis.
I've had God tell me some things.
I'm telling you one thing that I'm amazed that God has taken me in places I never thought I would be.
But what happens, we've disclosed secrets with each other.
So let's watch this video clip of Jesse Duplantis.
I've had this in my seminar for a number of years, but just watch.
Friends have frank and open conversations with each other.
I've done that with the Lord.
I've had the Lord say, Jesse, I've had God come tell me,.
He said, this is what I'm going to do.
I've had the Lord say, what do you think about this?
God has asked me for my opinion.
God asks Jesse Duplantis for his opinion, do tell.
Now, I don't want to take Jesse Duplantis out of context, so we shall let him finish his thought.
I said, well, Lord, since you asked, maybe I'm doing, he said, no, we can talk frankly.
What do you think?
I said, well, I don't think you ought to do that.
He said, why you don't think I ought to do that?
I said, well, you know,.
I know you know people more than I do, but you know, Lord, if you just let me, let me do a little bit more work on this individual, I think we can get them to
you.
He says, okay, go ahead, do what you have to do.
And I'll tell you what,.
The Bible says he who wins souls is wise.
And he who thinks he can counsel God is a fool.
Isaiah 40 verses 13 through 14, who has encompassed the spirit of Yahweh or
as his counselor has informed him, with whom did he consult and who gave him
understanding?
Well, I guess it was Jesse Duplantis.
You see the unimaginable arrogance of these people.
Dear friends, the irony is that Jesse Duplantis claims such a close, chummy relationship
with the Alpha and Omega.
Jesse Duplantis does not know God.
This is not a man who knows God.
No man who has truly come to know Christ as Savior and Lord would ever utter
the kind of blasphemies that these people, Jesse Duplantis and others like him, utter, it's
just not possible.
Well, dear ones, as we conclude, I want to let you know about a conference, if you've not already heard about it,
coming up, the cessationist conference, this October 3rd through 5th at First
Baptist Church in Mustang, Oklahoma, just outside of Oklahoma City.
And if you want to be equipped to engage, biblically engage and refute the
outlandish claims and the errant theology of the charismatic movement, we would love to have you join
us.
So this will be a great, great conference.
I'm really looking forward to this.
This will be Strange Fire 2, in essence.
That's basically what it is, Strange Fire 2.
So the link's down below in the description and all the information is there.
All right, dear ones, thank you very much for joining me.
Until our next time together, may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God and the fellowship of His Holy Spirit
be with you all.
