02:18: We know that the Bible is true from cover to cover, Genesis all the way to Revelation. And tonight we're going to learn about Revelation from our new friend,
02:27: Dr. August Rosado. He's the founder and evangelist of Today in Bible Prophecy Ministries located in Lincoln, Rhode Island.
02:35: He founded the ministry in 2003 after being in the pastorate from 1999 to 2003.
02:42: His ministry exists to teach the fundamentals of Bible prophecy, teaching the prophetic scriptures for their plain sense interpretation.
02:50: August and his wife, Patty traveled the USA speaking at churches on Israel, Bible prophecy and current events.

04:20: And I've seen you've done your background homework on me. Well, I do appreciate that ladies and all of you that are watching right now.
04:27: Thank you so much. I am humbled that you would ask me to come and teach on Bible prophecy, a subject that permeates at least one fourth of scripture from Genesis 1 -1 all the way to Revelation 22 -21.
04:44: And what we're gonna be talking about on this show is the trio of triplets of Bible prophecy.
04:52: That simply means we're gonna look at the three main events of Bible prophecy briefly.
04:59: Then we're gonna look at the three main books of Bible prophecy. And then the three strands of the human family in Bible prophecy.
05:11: So when we look at these trio of triplets, and I would recommend that if you have a pen and paper,
05:18: I'll try to talk as slow as I can because I've been told, Terry, that I'm a very fast talker.
05:24: So I'm gonna try to bring that down a little bit. But I would recommend that you would write down some notes and have your
05:33: Bibles open. So looking at the three main events of Bible prophecy using alliteration would be the rapture, the return, and the retribution.
05:50: The rapture, the return, the retribution. The rapture is the next main event on God's calendar of activities.
06:02: It is a signless event. It is a dateless event. No prophecies have to be fulfilled in order for the rapture to take place.
06:13: It could happen right now during this live stream. So that is the next main event on God's calendar of activities.
06:21: Then there will be the return. That happens at the end of the seven -year period of tribulation, also known as the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy.
06:34: That's Daniel 9, 24 through 27. The return, or commonly called the second coming of Jesus Christ back to this earth.
06:45: And the second coming passages to back that up would be Zechariah 12, verse 10,
06:52: Matthew 24, 30, Romans 11, 26,
06:58: Revelation chapter one, verse seven, and Revelation chapter 19, verses 11 through 16.
07:08: After the return, there will be a 1 ,000 -year kingdom reign of Jesus the
07:14: Messiah from the city of Jerusalem. We call this the millennial kingdom reign.
07:20: At the end of the millennial kingdom, there will be the retribution. The retribution is also commonly called the great white throne judgment.
07:32: That's Revelation chapter 20, verses 11 through 15.
07:39: So we have the rapture, we have the return, and we have the retribution.
07:45: What separates the rapture and the return is the seven -year period of tribulation.
07:55: It's called a time of Jacob's trouble. Jeremiah chapter 30, verse number seven.
08:02: Jesus describes it as great tribulation. Matthew 24, 21, and Matthew chapter 24, and verse number 29.
08:12: Seven -year period separates the rapture from the return.
08:18: Then at the return, or the second coming, the 1 ,000 -year millennial kingdom reign of Jesus Christ separates the return from the retribution.
08:31: At the end of that 1 ,000 -year kingdom, and I take that to be literal, it's not figurative, it's not allegorical, it's not spiritual.
08:40: I look at Revelation chapter 20, verses two through seven, as literal.
08:47: There is no justification whatsoever in that passage to say that we should spiritualize it to mean something else.
08:54: It's a literal, physical, bodily reign of Yeshua, Jesus the
08:59: Messiah, from a literal bodily city, the holy city of Yerushalayim, or in Hebrew, Jerusalem.
09:08: At the end of that kingdom, the retribution will take place. It's gonna be one of the saddest judgments in the entire word of God, which should motivate you and I, as believers, in the last days in which we live, to win the loss at any cost.
09:30: So, get into the rapture. The main rapture passages are
09:36: John chapter 14, verses one through three. Jesus said, let not your heart be troubled.
09:43: Ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions. If it were not so,
09:49: I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go and prepare a place for you,
09:56: I will come again and receive you, the church, unto myself, that where I am, there you may be also.
10:06: Jesus gives us a preliminary look at the rapture of the church, but it wasn't until the apostle
10:13: Paul, who got revelation of the rapture in 1 Corinthians chapter 15, verses 51 and 52.
10:23: Paul said, behold, I show you a mystery. We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump.
10:36: For the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
10:43: Third main rapture passage is in 1 Thessalonians chapter four, verses 13 through 18.
10:52: And Paul is telling the church at Thessalonica, do not be ignorant concerning the coming of the
10:59: Lord, especially in relation to the dead in Christ. He says in verse 13, for I will not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that you sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
11:14: For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so also them which sleep in Jesus will
11:21: God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the
11:28: Lord shall not prevent or precede them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven where there shall, with the voice of the archangel and with the trump of God and the dead in Christ shall rise for us.
11:44: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
11:49: Lord in the air. And so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore, comfort one another with these words.
12:00: Those are comforting words. Jesus said, don't let your heart be troubled, John 14, 1. Paul said, comfort one another with these words, 1
12:07: Thessalonians 4, 18. And there's a reason why our Lord and the apostle
12:13: Paul would use those terms. Because I'm convinced that the body of Christ will not be present on the earth during the 70th week of Daniel's prophecy, that final seven year period that is yet to be fulfilled.
12:33: If you've done a study on that mathematical prophecy in Daniel 9, 24 through 27, you would see that 69 of those 70 weeks have already literally been fulfilled.
12:48: The death of Jesus the Messiah ended the 69 weeks in Daniel 9, 26.
12:56: His death would end the 69 weeks. 483 prophetical years on the
13:02: Jewish lunar calendar or 173 ,880 days from the commencement point of the 69 weeks,
13:11: Nehemiah 2, 1 -8, 445 BC, all the way to the death of the
13:18: Messiah around 32 AD or so. So since the 69 weeks have already been fulfilled, how many weeks are left?
13:26: One. A future seven year period of tribulation to come. Church wasn't in the 69th week, obviously, and the church will not be in the 70th week.
13:39: The gap of time between the 69th and the 70th week is the period that we are in right now, the church age.
13:51: We have been in the church age for nearly 2 ,000 years, since Pentecost up until now, we have been in the church age.
14:00: When does the church age come to an end? At the next main event, we call the rapture of the church.
14:08: All the born again dead from Pentecost up until now come out of their graves first.
14:15: Then those believers alive at the time of the rapture will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the
14:23: Lord in the air. We're gonna be changed from mortal to immortal, from corruptible to incorruptible, from perishable to imperishable.
14:33: We will receive a glorified body at the time of the rapture and whisked off out of this world faster than you can blink the human eye.
14:47: So that is the rapture. The return, as I said, is the second coming of Jesus at the end of the 70th week, at the end of the 70th period of tribulation.
15:00: Jesus returns riding on a white horse and there is an army behind him, following him, riding on those white horses.
15:13: John the Apostle picks this up in Revelation 19, 11 through 15.
15:20: He said, I saw heaven open and behold a white horse. And he that sat upon him was called faithful and true.
15:27: And in righteousness doth he judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, upon his head were many crowns.
15:33: He had a name written that no man knew, but he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood.
15:41: And his name is called the word of God. The vesture, I believe being the prayer shawl, the talit, that Jews have been wearing for over 3 ,500 years.
15:50: That goes back to Numbers chapter 15, but that's another story for another time. And then it says in verse 14, and the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
16:05: What army is John the Apostle talking about? The army that was raptured seven years earlier is coming back with him seven years later.
16:17: Then he says, out of his mouth goes a sharp sword that whether he should smite the nations, he shall rule them with a rod of iron.
16:24: And he treadeth the winepress and the fierceness and the wrath of almighty God. Verse 16 says, upon his vesture and upon his thigh was a name written
16:35: King of Kings and Lord of Lords. Second common passages were also foretold in the
16:43: Old Testament. Zechariah chapter 12, verse 10, I will pour upon the house of David, upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication.
16:53: And they shall look upon me whom they have pierced. And they shall mourn for him as one that mourns for his only son and shall be in bitterness for him as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn son.
17:05: Parallel to that is what Jesus said in Matthew 24, 30. And then shall appear the sign of the son of man.
17:13: And then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn when they shall see the son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
17:23: No doubt, Matthew, a Jew, a follower of Yeshua had Daniel chapter seven, verse 13 in mind, where Daniel said he saw the son of man,
17:35: Ben Adam in Hebrew, the son of man coming to the ancient of days in the clouds of heaven, the ancient of days being
17:41: God the father. Then in Romans 11, 26, and so all
17:48: Israel shall be saved as it is written, there shall come out of Zion, Zion, the deliverer and shall turn away ungodliness from Yaakov, Jacob.
18:01: Revelation 1, 7, behold, he cometh with clouds and every eye shall see him.
18:07: And they also which pierced him and all the kingdoms of the earth shall mourn over him.
18:14: Amen, it says. So those are all second common passages in relation to Revelation 19, 11 through 16 that I just quoted for you.
18:24: So that is the return. Then we have the saddest judgment in the entire word of God, the retribution or the great white throne judgment.
18:38: If that doesn't motivate you to win people to the Lord, I don't know what would. John said,
18:45: I saw a great white throne and he who sat on it, from whom the earth and heaven fled away and there was found no place for them.
18:54: And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God. And the books were opened and another book was opened, which is the book of life.
19:02: And the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them.
19:12: And they would judge every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire.
19:20: This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
19:31: The second death, ladies and gentlemen, is an eternal death in the lake of fire.
19:36: I heard a preacher say one time, if you're born once, you will die twice, second death.
19:44: However, if you're born twice, you'll only die once. The second death will have no authority over you at all.
19:54: So we got the rapture, then we have the return, and then we have the retribution.
20:02: Now, looking at these three main books of Bible prophecy, these are apocalyptic books.
20:12: Apocalyptic simply means these books use apocalyptic literature.
20:18: So that means you're gonna run into all kinds of symbols. But the key to understanding these symbols is that you must look for a literal interpretation behind the symbolism.
20:34: Who will interpret these symbols? Dr. August Rosado, some other prophecy teacher?
20:43: No, the Bible and the Bible alone will interpret these symbols.
20:51: Why? The Bible is its best own interpreter. It doesn't need my help interpreting it.
20:57: The word of God stands on its own. Since this is the creation fellowship, they believe as well as I believe in a literal six -day period, 24 -hour day creation.
21:13: God created the world in six days, Genesis 1, 31, and on the seventh day he rested,
21:19: Genesis 2, 2. The seventh day would be the Shabbat, or the Sabbath, if you will.
21:24: So we take that to be literal. When you come into a lot of symbols in these three main books, you must look, it's imperative that you look for the literal interpretation behind the symbolism, and the
21:38: Bible will interpret those symbols for you. So the three main books of Bible prophecy would be
21:48: Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation.
21:54: Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation. The main chapter in the book of Ezekiel would be
22:05: Ezekiel chapter number 37. And I know you're all familiar with that.
22:11: Them bones, them bones, them dry bones, okay? God looks at the
22:17: Jewish prophet Ezekiel. He says, Ben Adam, son of man, what do you see in the valley?
22:23: Skeletal remains, I see dry bones here. So God then asked the question, son of man, can these bones live?
22:33: Ezekiel's response, Lord, thou knowest. Then he says, in Ezekiel 37, 11, son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel.
22:47: Do you see how the Bible just interpreted itself? I could have said in allegorizing, are the bones, that's for reference to the church, or the bones, that's a reference to some cult out there.
22:59: The bones, that's a reference to Rome or the, no. The Bible just interpreted who the bones are.
23:06: They are the whole house of Israel. Ezekiel sees the flesh, the muscle, the tissue, the sinews, everything coming on the bones.
23:20: Then God breathes, ruach in Hebrew, breath, wind unto them, and they stand up an exceeding great army.
23:30: Then in Ezekiel 37, 12, God says to the bones, I will cause you to come up out of your graves and will bring you into the land of Israel.
23:42: Now, told you already, we don't set dates for the rapture because the rapture is a dateless event.
23:50: No signs preceded, no prophecies have to be fulfilled. However, I do have a date for Ezekiel 37 when that was fulfilled.
24:00: And that date, ladies and gentlemen, May the 14th, 1948.
24:07: After nearly 2 ,000 years, Israel is back in the land and the nation has been reborn.
24:19: Think about this with me. 70 AD is when the Roman Empire destroyed Jerusalem and Herod's temple, scattering the
24:26: Jews to the four corners of the earth. And since 70
24:33: AD, Jews have been wandering from nation to nation, being persecuted and killed along the way.
24:41: Anti -Semitism is nothing new. It's rearing its ugly head, even as we speak today.
24:47: And unfortunately, anti -Semitism has even found its way into some circles in the church.
24:56: Anti -Semitism has no business in the church at all. So for 1 ,878 years,
25:08: Israel is back in the land. But they're back in the land in unbelief.
25:17: Believe me when I tell you this, when I go sold wood in Israel, they're back in unbelief.
25:22: Romans 11, 25 makes that very clear. They're in unbelief. And that must be the case in preparation for that final 70th week of prophecy to commence the seven year period of tribulation.
25:41: Chapter 37, that's the main chapter in the book of Ezekiel. Then the second apocalyptic book, the book of Daniel, the main chapter in the book of Daniel is
25:55: Daniel chapter number nine, the 70th weeks of prophecy.
26:03: Verse 24 tells us 70 weeks are determined upon thy people and thy holy city.
26:12: Who's thy people, Christians, church? No, there was no Christians. There were no church. The Jewish people.
26:20: How do I know the Jewish people? Daniel says, thy people and thy holy city.
26:27: What city is he talking about? Obviously, the city of Jerusalem.
26:33: Then in verse number 25, gives us the commencement point for the 70 weeks, the first 69 weeks.
26:42: The commencement point, as I alluded to already, goes back to Nehemiah chapter two, 445
26:50: BC. At Azerxes gives Nehemiah, the king's cupbearer, leave
26:57: Persia to go to Jerusalem to rebuild the streets and the walls.
27:03: And Nehemiah does that in a record 52 days. That's quick work right there to rebuild streets and walls that were tore up by the
27:11: Babylonians earlier. He does that in 52 days based on Nehemiah chapter six and verse number 15.
27:22: Then in verse 26, he says, after three score and two weeks or after 69 weeks, the
27:31: Mashiach, it's Hebrew, the Messiah, is cut off. The Hebrew there would be charet, meaning the
27:40: Messiah suffers the death penalty. His death would end the 69 weeks of Daniel's prophecy.
27:50: When I go sold one in Israel and I share the gospel with Jews and rabbis out there, they say, well, you
27:55: Christians got it wrong. We're still waiting for the Messiah to come. Well, rabbi, how can that be when
28:02: Daniel tells us that after the 69 weeks, the Messiah is cut off? What do you do with that?
28:08: They don't know what to do with that. Yep, I have most of them just walk away. They won't say another word to me because that is proof in the pudding that the
28:17: Messiah King Daniel nine gives us the arrival of Israel's Messiah.
28:26: He was crucified 2000 years ago on the cross for the sins of all humanity.
28:33: His death ended the 69 weeks in verse number 26.
28:39: So since 69 weeks have already been fulfilled, how many weeks are left? You got it, one.
28:46: That one week, the final 70th week. When will that happen? Read Daniel nine 27.
28:52: Notice the personal pronoun. And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week.
29:01: Who's the he, by the way? Well, if you back up to verse 26, it talks about the people of the prince that shall come.
29:10: The prince would be the ruler of the revived Roman empire.
29:17: The beast of Revelation 13, one. The Antichrist, 1
29:22: John chapter two and verse number 18. He comes from the people who destroyed the city and the sanctuary who destroyed
29:32: Jerusalem and the temple in 70 AD, right? The Roman empire.
29:37: So this Antichrist is not Islamic as they're trying to teach out there right now. He is of Roman descent.
29:45: He comes out of the final 10 horn revived Roman empire.
29:51: The 10 horns of Daniel chapter seven, verses seven 20, 24. And then 500 years later,
29:58: John the apostle talks about these same 10 horns. Revelation 12, three, Revelation 13, one.
30:04: Revelation 17, verses three, seven, 12, 16. Final 10 nation confederacy.
30:11: That will give global authority to this Antichrist when he comes on the scene.
30:19: So when he confirms sometime after the rapture, he's revealed, he confirms that final seven year period with Israel.
30:28: You talk to any Israeli on the street today, in Jerusalem or anywhere in Israel, and you'll ask him a simple question.
30:37: What do you as Israeli Jews want the most for your country? You know, 80 % of them will tell you, we'll do anything for peace.
30:46: We're surrounded by 22 Arab dictatorships. We will do anything for peace.
30:52: I had one guy say, I hope our government sells its soul for peace. Well, that's probably what's going to happen in Daniel 9, 27.
31:03: But the Antichrist will break that peace treaty at the midway point of the tribulation period, and the
31:09: Jews will flee for their very lives. Flee into the wilderness, Petra. I take my tour groups over there to Petra.
31:17: In addition to Israel, Petra will be the hiding place for the surviving Jewish remnant when they flee
31:22: Judea. Jesus said in Matthew 24, 15, the abomination of desolation.
31:28: And then the Antichrist will go on a global persecution, but his main focus is to eliminate
31:35: Israel. But God will shelter the surviving Jewish remnant at Petra in Southern Jordan.
31:41: How do I know that? Isaiah chapter 16, one in four, Isaiah 26, 20, Isaiah 63, one through six,
31:48: Revelation 12, six, Revelation 12, 14. That will be the location. So if you've never been to Israel, come to Israel with us.
31:54: I'd love to take you over there to South Jordan, to Petra, where that prophecy will be fulfilled in the not too distant future.
32:04: So Daniel 9 is the main chapter in that book. Then the third one, you got it, the book of Revelation.
32:15: Revelation, another apocalyptic book that uses a lot of symbolism, but again, look for the literal interpretation behind the symbolism.
32:24: And the Bible will interpret those symbols for you.
32:30: The main chapter there in Revelation would be Revelation chapter one and verse number 19.
32:37: You can look at Revelation 119 as the context of the entire book of Revelation, all 22 chapters.
32:48: Because in Revelation 119, God tells the apostle
32:53: John, he says, look at the things which thou hast seen, the things which shall be hereafter.
33:03: The things you have seen, the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter.
33:09: Well, what are the things which you have seen, John? Revelation chapter one, the book of the revelation of Jesus Christ, which
33:16: God gave unto him to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass. And he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant,
33:25: John. The things which thou hast seen, Revelation chapter one.
33:32: Then he says, and the things which are present in John's day, the message to the seven churches,
33:40: Revelation chapters two and three. And what is the message that Jesus has for all seven churches?
33:48: Simply this, I know thy works. I see what goes on behind closed doors.
33:57: He said that to Ephesus, Revelation 2 .2, I know thy works. Smyrna, Revelation 2 .9,
34:03: I know thy works. Pergamos, Revelation 2 .13, I know thy works. Thyatira, Revelation 2 .19,
34:09: I know thy works. Sardis, Revelation 3 .1, I know thy works. Philadelphia, Revelation 3 .8,
34:15: I know thy works. Laodicea, Revelation 3 .15, I know thy works.
34:24: Out of those seven churches, Jesus only commends two of them. Pergamos, the persecuted church, and Philadelphia, the spiritually alive church.
34:34: The other five churches, Jesus has some very strong words for them, for what they allow to go on behind those closed doors.
34:43: Then he says in Revelation 1 .19, and the things which shall be hereafter.
34:50: Revelation chapters four through 22. So Revelation 1 .19
34:56: is the key book, I should say the key verse of the book, because it's the entire context of the book of Revelation.
35:05: Revelation one, the revelation of Jesus Christ. Chapters two and three, message to the seven churches. Chapters four and five, the scene in heaven in which
35:14: John sees the four and 20 elders. I'm convinced that's the rapture church, the four and 20 elders.
35:21: Revelation 4 .4, 4 .10, 5 .8, 5 .11, 5 .14,
35:28: 7 .11, 11 .16, chapter 19, verse four. And every time you read about the four and 20 elders, the scene is always in heaven, never on the earth.
35:38: Then John sees those four angelic creatures with eyes in the front, eyes behind them, big massive wingspans.
35:45: It's the same creatures Ezekiel saw in Ezekiel chapter number 10. They guard the throne of God.
35:52: Then John sees angels, oh my stars, as he see angels. He sees millions of them.
36:00: In Daniel chapter seven, verse 10, John said 10 ,000 times 10 ,000 stood before him.
36:06: Well, 10 ,000 times 10 ,000 what? Well, now I have to apply inductive
36:11: Bible study. In other words, I must compare scripture with scripture in order to ascertain more information.
36:18: So now I must go to Revelation 5 .11. John said, I saw angels, 10 ,000 times 10 ,000 and thousands of thousands.
36:30: You do the math on that. 10 ,000 times 10 ,000 is 100 million plus angels around the throne of God, chapters four and five.
36:42: Chapter six, the sealed judgments opened by the Lord Jesus himself that results in one fourth of humanity killed.
36:50: Then using the chronological order here, chapter 11, two witnesses are preaching and because they are preaching, chapter seven, 144 ,000
37:01: Jews get saved, sealed by God for the purpose of evangelizing and preaching the gospel in the tribulation period.
37:09: Then in Revelation chapter 12, there's war in heaven between Michael and Satan and his evil angels, demons, if you will.
37:17: He loses, he's cast into the earth. Chapters eight and nine are the trumpet judgments.
37:26: Jesus dispatches angels to blow trumpets or shofars in Hebrew, shofarim, plural.
37:31: And whenever an angel sounds a shofar or a trumpet, it will result in catastrophe.
37:38: With the sealed judgments opened by Jesus, one fourth of humanity is put to death, Revelation 6, 8, that's 1 .5
37:45: billion people out of 7 billion. Then in Revelation 9, 15, with the blowing of that sixth trumpet, another one third of humanity dies, another 1 .5
37:54: billion people. Then we get to Revelation chapters 15 and 16.
38:01: It's the vial or the bowl judgments. Chapter 15, the preparation for the bowls, chapter 16, the actual pouring out of bowls.
38:09: Again, Jesus dispatches angels to pour out libation bowls on the earth to result in the wrath of God.
38:17: The Bible doesn't give me a number in terms of how many people die during the vial or bowl judgments, but I can just imagine.
38:26: Then chapter 19, the return, or the second coming back to this earth. Chapter 20 would be
38:34: Satan bound at the bottom of his pit, and then the establishment of the millennial kingdom reign, in which
38:39: Jesus will reign for 1 ,000 years. Says it six times in Revelation chapter 20, two through seven, he'll reign for 1 ,000 years.
38:46: God said it once, that's good enough for me, but six times, you better listen up. Then chapters 21 and 22 would be the eternal state.
38:57: Actually going back to chapter 20, you'll have the kingdom and then the retribution, the great white throne judgment.
39:02: Then chapters 21 and 22 will be the eternal state and that new
39:07: Jerusalem that will come down and eternity will begin for the redeemed. Now you notice
39:13: I left out some chapters in the book of Revelation. These are parenthetical chapters.
39:18: For example, chapter number 13, that just gives us additional information about the tribulation period, the rise of the antichrist and the false prophet, the beast,
39:31: Revelation 13 one, the false prophet, Revelation 13 and verse number 11. Then chapter 14, well, the book of Revelation is like a tape recorder.
39:39: It rewinds and it fast forwards. Revelation 14 fast forwards to the inauguration of the millennial kingdom to give the reader hope that despite all this death, all this judgment, all this wrath, there is light at the end of the tunnel, the millennial kingdom reign, the second coming and the millennial kingdom reign of Jesus, the
39:58: Messiah. And then we get to chapter number 17, the false church.
40:07: She's called a woman six times in Revelation 17 and she's called a whore three times in Revelation 17.
40:14: Now don't look at me. I'm just showing the scripture and say, okay. She is the false church who gets a piggyback ride on the shoulders of the antichrist, the beast out of the revived
40:25: Roman empire. Chapter 18 then shows the destruction of that false church.
40:32: Antichrist doesn't need her anymore. The partnership has ended. Revelation 17, verses 16 and 17 says, and the 10 horns which thou sawest upon the beast, he shall hate the whore and shall make her desolate and naked and shall eat her flesh and burn her with fire.
40:48: Chapter 18 continues to record her demise and her destruction.
40:55: She will not corrupt humanity anymore with her false doctrine.
41:00: She sits today on a seven hill city in Rome.
41:08: You say, well August, don't you think you're attacking? No, I'm just quoting you scripture. Revelation 17, nine says, here is the mind which hath wisdom.
41:16: The seven heads are the seven mountains on which the woman sitteth.
41:23: So she is the false church who will play a major role in the end times when the antichrist comes on the scene and there is a partnership between this false church and the beast.
41:39: So these are the trio of triplets. Rapture, return, retribution.
41:48: Three main books, Ezekiel, Daniel, Revelation. Then we have the three strands of the human family.
41:59: How does God divide humanity today? Well, first Corinthians chapter 10, verse 32 tells us exactly how we divide humanity today.
42:10: Paul says, give none offense to the Jew, Gentile, church of God.
42:18: For the first 2000 years of creation from Genesis chapter one to Genesis chapter 11, all you had on the earth were
42:29: Gentiles. Adam was a Gentile. Noah was a
42:35: Gentile. Enoch was a Gentile. Seth was a
42:41: Gentile. From Genesis one to Genesis chapter 11, all you had on the earth were
42:49: Gentiles. Then when you get to Genesis chapter number 12, we see the second strand of the human family coming into existence.
43:03: That would be the Jewish people with the call of Abram from Ur of the
43:10: Chaldees. That is in what is today Southern Iraq, near the area of Euphrates and the
43:15: Tigris River, two biblical rivers right there. His family is a bunch of idol worshipers,
43:22: Matthew 24, excuse me, Joshua chapter 24 and verse number two. So he leaves
43:27: Ur of the Chaldees, makes his way all the way up the Fertile Crescent till he gets to the area of Haran.
43:35: That is today where Turkey and Syria is. Then he drops all the way south, makes his way into the land of Canaan, Ka 'anan in Hebrew.
43:46: That would be today the land of Eretz Israel, the land of Israel. So from Genesis chapter 12, going all the way to Acts chapter one, the second strand of the human family would be the
44:04: Jewish people because you have Abraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
44:12: From Jacob, his 12 boys that would make up 12 tribes of the children of Israel.
44:18: Jacob's name was later changed to Israel, Genesis chapter 32 and verse number 28.
44:25: Hence the name of a country, according to Ezekiel 5 .5, that's in the very center of the earth today, the land of Israel.
44:35: That would be the second strand of the human family, the Jewish people. Genesis chapter 12 to Acts chapter one.
44:44: Then the third strand of the human family come into existence.
44:50: And that would be, you guessed it, the church. Acts chapter number two, on the day of Pentecost.
45:00: Now, Pentecost was not the founding of some Christian denomination. That is a
45:07: Jewish feast. It was the fourth feast in Leviticus chapter 23 of the seven feasts that God exclusively gave to the
45:15: Jewish people. At Pentecost, known in Hebrew as Shavuot or Feast of Weeks or better in the
45:25: Greek, Pentecost, because 50 days after first fruits, they would count seven
45:33: Shavuot, seven Sabbaths, 49 days. Then on that 50th day would be
45:41: Pentecost. Here's what's interesting. 50 days after Jesus resurrected on first fruits, first Corinthians 15 .24,
45:51: he resurrected on first fruits. 50 days later, he sent the promise of the father.
45:59: That's John 14, John 15, John 16. He sent the promise of the father.
46:06: The Ruach HaKodesh, the Holy Spirit of God upon 120
46:12: Jews, right there in the area of the southern part of the Temple Mount, that you can still see today in Jerusalem.
46:20: Thus the birth of the Ekklesia, the called out ones, the church.
46:27: From Acts chapter two to Revelation chapter four verses one and two.
46:35: Third strand of the human family would be the church. That's why Paul says, give none offense to the
46:42: Jews, Gentiles, church of God. Church will be taken out of here at the rapture, as we already said,
46:55: Revelation four, one and two. They hear the words, come up hither. And that's when we see in Revelation four and five, the four and 20 elders around the throne of God, the four living creatures and the 100 million plus angels.
47:14: That is a three strand of the human family. Then when the church is taken out of here, God will deal with the nation of Israel and their unbelief.
47:26: Listen, God has not done with Israel. God has not finished with Israel. He has not abrogated his promises to them.
47:33: I really, I know this is gonna be a strong word that I'm gonna use, but I really get disgusted of replacement theology rearing its ugly head in the church and in a lot of Bible seminaries today in which they are teaching that God is finished with Israel.
47:53: All the promises he gave to the Jews are now null and void. And those promises have been transferred over to the church.
47:59: So now the church is the new Israel. Nothing can be further from the truth because listen, if God can break his promises to Israel, then
48:07: Christian, you better watch your back. What makes you think he won't break his promises to you either?
48:14: We all know better than that. Israel is temporarily set aside as God is dealing right now with the church.
48:22: When the church is taken out of you at the rapture, God will deal with Israel in the 70th week.
48:28: You see how everything just falls into place when you take the scriptures for their plain sense interpretation, everything makes sense.
48:37: When you start spiritualizing and allegorizing, I know this isn't a Bible college lesson here, but if you are in Bible college or Bible school, institute, whatever, you're gonna take a lesson on hermeneutics.
48:53: That's the science of biblical interpretation. Who's speaking? Who's he speaking to? What is he speaking about?
48:59: It's always context, context, context. You take the context out of context, you end up with a pretext.
49:07: You never isagit the scripture. Isagit simply means you do not put your own thoughts and your own ideas into the text.
49:16: That's where we get into trouble. You must exagit. That means you draw the intended original meaning from the text as intended by the author.
49:33: So that's something to keep in mind. You exagit the text, you never isagit the text.
49:40: God will deal with Israel during the 70th week. Not just Israel though, he'll also deal with the
49:46: Gentile nations of the world. The goyim in Hebrew, ethnos in the
49:52: Greek, ethnicity, that's where we get the word ethnicity. He'll deal with the Gentile nations in Matthew 13 and Matthew 25.
50:04: And Revelation 12, five says that one day he will rule those nations with a rod of iron, with an iron fist, if you will.
50:16: Revelation 19 in verse number 13 tells us the same thing. He will rule with a rod of iron.
50:22: He will one day crush the nations who oppose him. The nations being led by the
50:30: Antichrist and the false prophet. He will crush those nations, he will rule those nations with a rod of...
50:42: So those are the three strands of the human nature. Family, Gentiles, Genesis chapters one through 11.
50:55: Then the Jews, Genesis 12 to Acts chapter one, then the church,
51:04: Acts chapter two to Revelation chapter four verses one and two when the church is taken out of here.
51:13: And do a study on the Jewish feast when you have an opportunity in Leviticus 23. Amazing. Jesus fulfilled the first four of those feasts.
51:21: He was crucified on Passover, buried on unleavened bread, rose from the dead on first fruits, sent the
51:26: Holy Spirit at Pentecost. So if he fulfilled the last four, you can bet your bottom dollar, he's gonna fulfill the last three.
51:35: Trumpets, not really at the rapture per se because these are Jewish feasts. The rapture, that's for the church. That's dateless and signless, okay?
51:43: Nothing has to be fulfilled for that. But in the tribulation, you're gonna have signs galore. So trumpets will be fulfilled really at the second coming because that's
51:54: Matthew 24, 31. He shall give his angels a sound of a trumpet to gather his elect
52:00: Israel, Isaiah 45, four, from the four corners of the earth to the city of Jerusalem for the inauguration of the millennial kingdom.
52:07: That also goes along with Isaiah 27 and verse number 13 as well. So you have a trumpet that sounds at the rapture that calls the church out of here before the tribulation.
52:18: And then seven years later, a trumpet, that's for Israel to gather his elect to the four corners of the earth.
52:25: Then you have the feast, or I should say the day of atonement. They just acknowledge day of atonement.
52:32: They just have the day of atonement in Israel or around the world for that matter, known in Hebrew as Yom Kippur, when they shall look upon him whom they have pierced and they will mourn.
52:44: Just as Jews mourn on Yom Kippur. It's not a celebration. They mourn. They fast for 25 hours.
52:51: They abstain from all type of pleasures or whatever. It's very important to them on Yom Kippur.
52:59: They will mourn when they see Jesus coming at a second coming. That's Zechariah 12, 10,
53:04: Revelation chapter one and verse number seven. And then feast of tabernacles.
53:10: That just happened yesterday. Sukkot in Hebrew. That will be fulfilled during the 1000 year millennial kingdom reign of the
53:19: Lord Jesus, when he will be tabernacled among his people.
53:25: I tell you, it doesn't get any better than that. So those are the trio of triplets of Bible prophecy.
53:35: I know that all of you are looking at a PowerPoint right now, three points to the book of Revelation.
53:43: And you can see in Revelation 119, we've talked about this already, the whole of the book of Revelation.
53:53: And of course, that would be the prelude to the tribulation period. Then you have the program of the tribulation period.
54:02: And then you have the postlude of the tribulation period. What's a prelude?
54:07: Well, if you walk into a church service before service begins, people are coming in through the door, you hear music playing.
54:14: Well, that's a prelude to the church service. Then as the pastor is preaching, it's the program of the service.
54:21: You know, they give you a program when you walk into the door or a church bulletin, if you will. Then the postlude to the service is when people are leaving, they're going out the door as you hear the music playing.
54:34: So the prelude to the tribulation period would be
54:39: Revelation chapters one through three. Program of the tribulation period would be chapters four through 19.
54:51: And then the postlude of the tribulation period would be Revelation chapters 20 through 22.
55:02: And so when we look at the book of Revelation, it shows three things concerning the
55:08: Lord Jesus. I'm gonna be using hand gestures here, okay? And I want you to do these hand gestures with me.
55:15: I might not see you do it, but I want you that are watching right now do these hand gestures with me. These hand gestures will communicate an absolute truth as to the person, the power, and the program of Jesus.
55:30: So we have the person of Jesus. This finger represents a person. We have the person of Jesus.
55:38: Then we have the power of Jesus. My two fists for you, that is power. We have the power of Jesus.
55:45: Then opening up my hand like in a bowl, we have the program of Jesus.
55:51: We have the person, the power, and the program of the
55:58: Lord Jesus Christ. The book of Revelation presents Jesus in those three categories.
56:06: The person, the power, and the program of the
56:12: Lord Jesus. Again, the context of the book of Revelation is chapter one and verse number 19.
56:20: The things which thou hast seen, chapter one.
56:25: The things which are chapters two and three. The things which shall be hereafter, chapters four through 22.
56:35: So Revelation 119, that is the context of the entire book of Revelation.
56:41: Then we have chapters two and three. The message to the seven churches of Asia Minor.
56:48: And as I said before, what is Jesus' message? I know thy works.
56:54: Remember, I quoted it already. He said that to all seven churches. Even though he only commended two of those churches,
57:01: Pergamos and Philadelphia, the other five churches, he has a serious rebuke for. But to all seven churches,
57:08: I know thy works. Ephesus, I know thy works. Revelation 2 .2.
57:14: Pergamos, I know thy works. Revelation two, I'm sorry, I should say
57:19: Smyrna. Revelation 2 .9, I know thy works. Pergamos, Revelation 2 .13, I know thy works.
57:25: Thyatira, Revelation 2 .19, I know thy works. Sardis, Revelation 3 .1, I know thy works. Philadelphia, Revelation 3 .8,
57:32: I know thy works. Laodicea, Revelation 3 .15, I know thy works.
57:38: He has a message for all of those seven churches. I know thy works.
57:43: Then we have the program of the tribulation period. That is a 2 ,520 day period.
57:52: Okay, now those numbers are based on the Jewish lunar calendar.
57:58: They have a lunar based on the moon. Right now, the Jews say we're in the year of 5773.
58:09: Okay, or I should say 5772, rather. 57, let me get this, 5782.
58:15: Now I got it right, 5782, that's the Jewish year. That's why they celebrate
58:21: Rosh Hashanah, Feast of Trumpets, it's a civil Jewish new year. 5782, okay?
58:29: The numbers that we're looking at here are based on the Jewish lunar calendar. Daniel nine, verse 24, the 70 weeks that we just talked about, okay?
58:41: You cannot, and I repeat, you cannot fit those numbers into our
58:47: Gregorian solar 365 day calendar. You can't do it.
58:52: And there's a reason for that, folks, okay? Because this has everything to do with Israel and nothing to do with the church.
59:02: It's to bring unbelieving Israel to faith in Yeshua as their Savior and Messiah. It's to bring unbelieving
59:10: Israel to faith, not to punish the born again, blood washed, believing church, that makes no sense at all.
59:16: There's no right and reason for that logic, if you want to even call it that. Let's do a little math here.
59:23: Let's take the Jewish lunar calendar, 360 day year. 360 times seven, seven year period of tribulation.
59:33: 360 times seven is the number you see on your screen, 2 ,520. 2 ,520 days are seven years, seven year period of tribulation.
59:44: Okay, take 2 ,520 and divide it by two. You come up with a number found in Revelation 11 three.
59:54: I will give power unto my two witnesses. They shall prophesy 1 ,260 days, first half of the tribulation period.
01:00:01: Then in Revelation 12 six, and the woman fled into the wilderness, which she hath a place prepared of God.
01:00:07: Now there's your feeder there, 1 ,260 days, last half of the tribulation period.
01:00:14: It's also called in Revelation 13 five, 40 and two months, last half of the tribulation period.
01:00:23: Also using Jewish colloquialism, Daniel 7 25, times, times, and the dividing of times.
01:00:32: Daniel 12 seven, times, times, and a half. Revelation 12 14, times, times, and half a time.
01:00:39: That's all Jewish colloquialism for the last half of the tribulation period. So those numbers fit beautifully into the
01:00:45: Jewish lunar calendar. Why? It's a time of Jacob's trouble. Yaakov, who's Jacob? Israel.
01:00:53: Jeremiah chapter 30, verse seven. Daniel nine, 24. This has everything to do with the
01:00:58: Jew and nothing to do. With you, the church. Try fitting those numbers into our
01:01:05: Gregorian calendar. Let's take 365 times seven. I come up with, not 2 ,520,
01:01:11: I come up with 2 ,555. Eh, doesn't fit. Our calendar adds 30 days to Daniel's prophecy.
01:01:18: You can't fit it in there. If I take 2 ,555 divided by two, I don't come up with 1 ,260,
01:01:24: I come up with 1 ,277. Eh, doesn't fit. Our calendar adds 17 days.
01:01:30: It just doesn't fit, folks, because it's a time of Jacob's trouble, not a time of the church's trouble.
01:01:38: The church is not told anywhere in the New Testament to look for the Antichrist, but we are told in many places to look for the
01:01:46: Lord Jesus. During that seven -year period, God unleashes 21 judgments on the earth.
01:01:52: We got seven seals, Revelation six. We have seven trumpets, Revelation chapters eight and nine.
01:01:58: We have seven vial or bowl judgments. They are 21 in all.
01:02:04: Seven seals, seven trumpets, and the seven vial judgments.
01:02:10: 21 judgments in all. They are all the wrath of God.
01:02:16: I know that pre -wrath likes to say, well, the church will go through the first three and a half years of the tribulation period and one fourth of the last three and a half years of the tribulation period, and then get raptured before the wrath of God falls.
01:02:31: No, no, no, no, no. All seven years are the wrath of God.
01:02:38: These guys say, well, the first three and a half years is the wrath of man, one fourth of the last three and a half years is the wrath of Satan, and then about a year and a half of it is the wrath of God.
01:02:47: See, that's what happens when you spiritualize and allegorize. You come into this mess. You see what
01:02:52: I'm talking about? You gotta, that's what you call eisegi. You can't eisegi. You must exegi, okay?
01:03:01: Read Revelation 6, 16 and 17. The people of the earth are running. Hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne and from the wrath of the
01:03:10: Lamb. For the great day of his wrath has come, who shall be able to stand? Who opens the seal judgments? Jesus.
01:03:16: I saw the Lamb open the seals, Revelation 6 .1. That results in one fourth of humanity dying.
01:03:22: Revelation chapter six and verse number eight. When you get to the trumpets, Revelation 8 .2.
01:03:28: I saw seven angels which stood before God and to them were given seven trumpets.
01:03:33: Who are they standing before? God. Obviously, the trumpets are the wrath of God as well.
01:03:39: You get to the vial judgments, Revelation 16 .2. Go your ways and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon your folks.
01:03:49: All seven years of the tribulation period is the wrath of God. Again, Jesus opens all seven seals.
01:03:58: That results in the wrath of God. Again, write these down. Revelation 6 .1 and Revelation chapter eight and verse number two.
01:04:08: The seven trumpet judgments, again, they are the wrath of God. God dispatches angels to blow seven trumpets to pour out the wrath of God.
01:04:17: When that happens, Revelation 9 .15, it says a third part of men died. That's 1 .5
01:04:23: billion people. You know, without being dogmatic, I read this on the internet, that it is estimated there are two billion
01:04:32: Christians on planet earth today. Out of seven billion, two billion Christians on planet earth today.
01:04:38: Just for the sake of, I'm not being dogmatic, just for the sake of argument. Let's say at the rapture, two billion are taken.
01:04:45: That leaves five billion. Then Revelation 6 .8 with the seal judgments, 1 .5
01:04:51: billion people are put to death. Then in Revelation 9 .15 with the blowing of the six trumpet judgment, another 1 .5
01:04:59: billion are killed. So we're looking at three billion dead. That will only leave two billion people left on earth when the vile judgments fall on man.
01:05:12: Seven angels with seven plagues. Revelation chapter 15 and verse number 16.
01:05:18: Again, angels are dispatched to pour out the wrath of God upon the earth.
01:05:24: And there it is right there, Revelation 16 .2. And I heard a great voice out of the temple saying to the seven angels, go your ways and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth.
01:05:35: Folks, they are 21 in all. So looking at the prophetic overview here, there's the cross, that yellow, that's the cross right there.
01:05:47: Crucifixion of Jesus 2 ,000 years ago. His crucifixion ended the 69th week of Daniel's prophecy.
01:05:53: Now there's that gap of time. That's the church age, okay?
01:05:59: Between Pentecost and the rapture, that's the church age. Rapture happens, church is taken out of here.
01:06:06: Then will be that final 70th week, the tribulation period divided into two periods.
01:06:12: First half, 1 ,260, last half, 1 ,260. Then the second coming of Jesus back to this earth.
01:06:21: That's the return. Remember, rapture, return. Comes back at a second coming, destroys the
01:06:28: Antichrist and false prophet, Revelation 19, 19 and 20. Satan's bound in the bottomless pit,
01:06:33: Revelation 20, verses one and two. And then the kingdom will commence for 1 ,000 years at the end of the kingdom.
01:06:42: Satan's loosed out of that bottomless pit just to be destroyed and thrown into the lake of fire to join the
01:06:47: Antichrist and the false prophet, Revelation 20, verse number 10. Then the retribution, the great white throne judgment.
01:06:56: Revelation 20, 11 through 15. Every unsaved person that have died in their sins in hell right now will be summoned out of hell to stand before Jesus at the retribution, the great white throne.
01:07:10: The books are open, books plural, meaning those books contained deeds of what those individuals did from the womb to the tomb.
01:07:19: They died unregenerated. They've never been born again. Then a book, singular, is open.
01:07:25: That's the book of life. Their names are not there. And based on that, they're cast into the lake of fire, Revelation 20, 14 and 15.
01:07:32: Then there'll be a new heavens, new earth, and the eternal state will begin.
01:07:37: That's the postlude of the tribulation period, chapters 20 through 22.
01:07:45: Again, you got the millennial kingdom. I know I messed up on this verse coming up right here. The millennial kingdom, Revelation chapter 20, verses two through seven.
01:07:53: Then the great white throne, that should read Revelation 20, 11 through 15. I have to correct that.
01:07:59: And then the eternal state, chapters 21 and 22.
01:08:04: The next main event on God's calendar of activities is the rapture of the church.
01:08:12: And that could happen at any moment, at any time. And all we can say to this is maranatha.
01:08:20: Even so come, Lord Jesus. If you're gonna study
01:08:26: Bible prophecy, study it for its plain sense interpretation. Avoid the hype, the drama, the sensationalism.
01:08:37: As Dr. Dave Reagan of Lamb & Lion Ministries, well, he retired now, but Dr.
01:08:43: Dave Reagan, when he interviewed me on his TV shows many times, he would say, August, the most abused doctrine among Christians today in the church is
01:08:53: Bible prophecy. The most abused doctrine. And he is absolutely right.
01:09:00: We must allow scripture to interpret scripture.
01:09:07: We must allow the Bible to be its best known interpreter. So I leave you with 1
01:09:14: Corinthians 16, 22, maranatha. It's a beautiful Aramaic phrase. It simply means our
01:09:20: Lord come. Keep looking up. Jesus is coming soon. Thank you.
01:09:26: I learned that it meant come, Lord Jesus, come, or come quickly, Lord. That's a very last passage in Revelation 22, 21.
01:09:35: And again, it's connected to maranatha, our Lord come. It was a first century greeting some 2 ,000 years ago.
01:09:43: And how fitting it is to end off the canon of scripture with that phrase, even so come,
01:09:49: Lord Jesus. No doubt John had that in his mind. Well, I know that my friends and I use that quite often.
01:09:55: And I get thrown around a lot. Yeah, sure. That was great. That was really good.
01:10:01: Terry, do you have some questions? We do have some questions. Oh, I'm just gonna go ahead and turn off your sharing so that we can see you to get some answers here.
01:10:15: So, okay, so the first question, you went over the three main books of prophecy. So you said
01:10:20: Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation. Isaiah, would it be the fourth?
01:10:25: Or how did you choose Ezekiel over Isaiah? Well, again, these are books that use apocalyptic literature.
01:10:32: Isaiah is just straightforward. Yeah, there are times he uses a few apocalyptic things here and there, but not as much as Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation.
01:10:41: That's why those three books were chosen as apocalyptic in nature. Gotcha. Okay, next question comes from Bill.
01:10:49: Do the two witnesses bring 144 ,000
01:10:54: Jews to Christ and then do the 144 ,000 witness to more Jews during the tribulation?
01:11:02: Well, Bill, again, looking at Revelation chronologically as we just talked about, chapter 11, two witnesses are preaching the gospel.
01:11:09: And because of their preaching, after they're killed and they're resurrected, 144 ,000
01:11:15: Jews in chapter seven come to faith in Jesus as Savior and Messiah. They're sealed by God. Nobody's gonna put a finger on them for the purpose of evangelizing, preaching, and sharing the gospel.
01:11:25: And yes, reaching out to more Jews as well as Gentiles at that time.
01:11:31: And then when they have finished their testimony, we see the same 144 ,000 in chapter number 14 with Jesus on Mount Zion.
01:11:41: Remember, chapter 14 fast forwards to the millennial kingdom reign of the
01:11:46: Lord Jesus. And so when they finished their testimony, then the last half of the tribulation period, God dispatches an angel to circumnavigate the globe,
01:11:56: Revelation 14, six, to preach the everlasting gospel to them who dwell on the earth, to every kindred, tongue, dialect, and nation.
01:12:06: So even though the church will not be here, the gospel will still be preached during the seven -year period of tribulation.
01:12:14: Think about this, Bill. If the church was gonna be on the earth, there's no need for the two witnesses.
01:12:20: There's no need for the 144 ,000. There's no need for an evangelistic angel. The church would be doing it.
01:12:26: Even under those circumstances, the church would be doing it. But because the church isn't on the earth for the whole seven years for that matter,
01:12:33: God raises up these three to do exactly that. Thank you. Hey, Bill, no problem, buddy.
01:12:39: I got a comment on that. I don't know that the church is doing that great of a job of evangelizing people.
01:12:47: Agreed. Agreed. Okay, Bill has a couple more questions.
01:12:53: So number two is, were the white horse literally flesh and blood horses coming down from heaven?
01:13:01: You know, that's a good question. The Bible doesn't tell us if they're, because it says flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, right?
01:13:08: Right. So I don't know, Bill. The Bible doesn't. So I can't really give you a sanctified speculation even on that.
01:13:16: All I do know is that you and I, brother, we're coming down on white horses.
01:13:22: They could be physical. They could be spiritual. I don't know. The Bible doesn't tell me. All I know is we're coming back and we're gonna go to Jerusalem for the establishment of the millennial kingdom.
01:13:34: He's coming back with a sword coming out of his mouth. That's gotta be a literal sword. You know why? He crushes the nations.
01:13:40: That's a physical crush. So he crushes these nations and he rules these nations with a rod of iron.
01:13:47: So that is physical. So that might be some indication that those horses could be literal, but I can't be dogmatic on that.
01:13:56: I can't be specific where the Bible isn't. Thank you. When you picture the sword coming from his mouth, cause
01:14:04: I studied revelation with some of my students a couple of years ago, and I had an image of the sword coming straight out of his mouth.
01:14:10: But one of my students was playing with a toy sword and he literally, he put it in his mouth where he could go sideways.
01:14:18: It was a toy and he put the handle like this so it was coming out sideways, but he could like hit people this way.
01:14:25: And I was like, that just shed a new light on it for me. Well, you know,
01:14:30: I mean, some people when they look at the sword coming out of his mouth, Isaiah talks about that. He will slay the wicked with the breath of his lips.
01:14:38: So what I'm seeing is all he's gotta do is speak and they drop dead.
01:14:45: I had a guy tell me at a prophecy conference and I preached that one time. He says, August, are we going to be fighting side by side with Jesus?
01:14:51: I said, he doesn't need you. He doesn't need me either. All he has to do is speak and they drop like flies.
01:15:00: That's what I think, that's what that sword coming out of his mouth is all about. Yeah. Okay. And then one more question from Bill is, do the
01:15:07: Jews still use the 360 days per year calendar? And if not, when did they go to 365?
01:15:16: Oh no, they never used 365. We use the 365. They've always used a lunar system of a 360 day a year, which is the reason why they just celebrated
01:15:26: Rosh Hashanah. These are the prophets, Yom Teruah in Hebrew. And they say that we are right now in the year 5782.
01:15:35: Now, why would they say that? And I've asked rabbis in Israel this. They said, the reason why is because we believe that 5 ,782 years are gone.
01:15:46: I'm going to use some Hebrew here. Bereshit bara Elohim via ha -shamayim via ha -aretz.
01:15:51: In the beginning, God created the heaven and the earth.
01:15:58: And they tell me it was six literal 24 hour day periods.
01:16:05: And the earth is 5782, 5 ,782 years old.
01:16:11: Boy, that sounds like a young earth to me. Oh yeah, this group is definitely younger. Well, young, relatively speaking.
01:16:20: Right. Rabbis, this is a pretty young earth. I mean, yeah, young rather. Well, you know, the evolutionist guys.
01:16:28: Oh, you know, where the earth is 27 billion years old, 27 million, 350.
01:16:34: They can never center on one specific number. Oh yeah. All kinds of different numbers floating out there.
01:16:41: Well, I just wonder about that. So the creationists, you know, we all have an opinion.
01:16:48: You know, they say about 6 ,000 years. I think there's some time lost in translated
01:16:54: Masoretic text. So I'm leaning more towards 7 ,000 years. But I know that the
01:17:00: Jewish, you know, have been marking their time since the beginning. So I can imagine that, you know, the 5782 is fairly correct.
01:17:11: Well, there's a discrepancy there. I don't mean to cut you off. There's like a, what, 220 something year discrepancy there.
01:17:19: Yeah, with the - The rabbis and the early church fathers have said that humanity would go on for a period of some 6 ,000 years.
01:17:28: And then on that seventh year would be a millennial year of rest. So they're both on the same page with that.
01:17:34: That would be the Messianic age. And the Sybil calendar, do they still use those 360 days?
01:17:41: Because I know that the religious calendar is the 360, but the
01:17:47: Sybil calendar, is that 362? Oh, it's 360, yes, it's 360. And if you go on my website,
01:17:55: Today in Bible Prophecy, excuse me, .org, or if you receive my newsletter for that matter, I say, you know, 2021, then
01:18:03: I say the Jewish Sybil New Year, you know, 5782. So again, they just celebrated
01:18:09: Rosh Hashanah and they say it's 5782. Okay, thank you. All right, Terry. Yeah.
01:18:15: Yeah, I don't think, I think that we're done with our questions and we definitely have hit our time.
