Welcome to another installment of Fighting for the Faith. My name is Chris Roseborough. I am your servant in Jesus Christ.
00:20
This is the channel that compares what people are saying in the name of God to the Word of God. So, you've probably heard, you know, wingnut, wackerdoodle people who claim to be prophets saying, oh, it says in the
00:32
Bible God doesn't do anything without first revealing it to the prophets.
00:38
So, there. There, you get around that one, huh? That proves I'm a real prophet.
00:43
No, it doesn't, and nor does that passage actually teach what these people think it teaches.
00:49
In fact, we'll take a look at what Amos chapter 3, verse 7 really says and what it really means and who it was written to, and we're going to note that it is not some kind of blanket statement that God is going to continue to operate by revealing things to prophets, especially in the
01:08
New Covenant. But you'll see what I mean here in a second. So, let's do this. Let's whirl up the desktop, and we are going to go to our web browser here.
01:21
And Emma Stark, just a couple of months ago, was on a live stream, It's Supernatural, with Sid Roth.
01:29
And I thought that Dr. Michael Brown had convinced Sid Roth that he needed to do a better job of vetting the guests on his program so that he doesn't get people who are doctrinally wrong.
01:42
Well, Emma Stark is, she ain't a true prophet, not even close.
01:48
She is a false prophet extraordinaire. We'll kind of prove that along the way, you know, if you had any doubts.
01:55
And she's going to claim that she saw a vision of angels ripping pages out of books in heaven, in a library, for a very specific reason.
02:05
And this is a total twisting of scripture. And I hope you're sitting down because, you know, we're going to debunk this whole thing that God doesn't do anything without first revealing it to his prophets.
02:15
So we need folks like Emma Stark. Yeah, no, we don't. She's made appearances on Prophecy Bingo for a reason.
02:25
So let's listen in for a little bit, shall we, and see if we can figure out what's going on in this live stream episode of It's Supernatural.
02:36
Welcome, Holy Spirit. Go and flow. My guest, Emma Stark, is known worldwide as the
02:43
Celtic prophet. She's - No, she's known here, and at least where I live in North Dakota, Minnesota, as a wingnut wackerdoodle false prophet.
02:52
That's what she's known to be. Saw the most amazing library in heaven filled with books.
02:59
And she was shocked when she saw angels ripping pages out of the books that recorded what our destiny will be.
03:09
Now I'm going to note something here. This revelation adds to scripture.
03:15
I'm just going to be blunt, it does. And we don't need any such revelations as the ones she's going to give.
03:22
Not only does it add to scripture, it legitimately contradicts the scripture, which is proof you're dealing with a false prophet.
03:28
So let me remind you what the Bible says in this regard.
03:35
In 1 John chapter 4, verse 1, we are instructed, commanded by God the
03:42
Holy Spirit through the Apostle John, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world.
03:52
So we are required by God in the New Testament, New Covenant, to test prophets and to test to see whether the spirit by which they are speaking is from God or from another source.
04:06
Other sources could include the demonic, satanic. It could also basically be somebody who's of an unsound mind and they're just suffering from some kind of madness or fever dreams.
04:19
Or they are intentionally deceiving, things of that nature. But we are required by God to determine the source first before we listen, before we consider any prophecy.
04:33
So keep that in mind as we listen to Emma Stark here. Some pages might have had your name.
04:42
Why would the angels be ripping out pages of someone's book? I mean, Sid, it was just absolutely horrible in that place of being in the
04:51
Word of God in Amos chapter 3. And it's quite a strongly worded verse. So this becomes the foundation of this vision of angels ripping pages out of books.
05:02
And Amos chapter 3, very strongly, strongly worded verse.
05:10
We need to be careful with this one. Says this, surely the sovereign Lord does no good thing without first revealing it to his servant, the prophets.
05:19
And you kind of think, God, no, hang on. No, just don't bring a limiting to your own hand.
05:24
God, if you are going to do something, God, you just fire right on in and you do it yourself. Why God, have you inserted this scripture that seems to be a limiting where you don't do something until you've spoken to a prophet.
05:36
And I think in that, God says, I so love human beings. Adding to the scriptures here.
05:43
Interaction. I love friendship. I love the chit chat back and forward. I love the walking with my people in the spirit.
05:49
So adding to the scripture here, God didn't say any of these words. He limits himself to some things happening in the earth according to whether a prophet has first heard it,
06:00
Sid. And when I saw. So God, according to her, limits himself because he loves chit chat, you know, because, you know,
06:07
God's very social. And and so he's limited himself in, you know, by his own decision.
06:13
He won't do anything unless a prophet has first heard it. Well, let's take a look at the passage.
06:19
The passage itself is in Amos chapter three, verse seven. And here it is out of context.
06:27
For the Lord, Yahweh, does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants, the prophets.
06:33
Well, there you go. See, God doesn't do anything unless he reveals it to the prophets.
06:39
Hold it right there. Hold it right there. So what are the three rules for sound biblical exegesis?
06:48
Context, context, and the third one is context. That being the case, if I put this in context and I pay attention to who it is written to, those details matter, then, well,
07:03
I come to the conclusion that God will do nothing on planet Earth from from the beginning of the first prophets all the way to the end of the world without first revealing his secrets to his servants, the prophets.
07:17
I would note that even charismatics agree that that the the last prophet of the
07:24
Old Testament, Malachi, wrote 400 years before Jesus walked the
07:32
Earth. Four hundred. And were there any prophets in Israel from the time of Malachi until Christ?
07:41
No. So we got it. We got a problem here.
07:47
We got what? What? What? What does this passage mean? Well, let me let me help you out here. We are going to duplicate this tab and we're going to go to one of the most abused texts in all of scripture.
08:00
We're going to go to Jeremiah chapter 29 and specifically verse 11.
08:05
Let me let me pull this up and let me read this in my strongest Joel Osteen accent.
08:13
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for your welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.
08:23
Hmm. Isn't that great? God has plans for you to give you a future and a hope. Oh, he want you are the bees knees and God's plan for you is health.
08:32
His plan for you is wealth. His plan for you is influence and affluence. And oh, he's going to help you fulfill your purpose where you're going to change the world.
08:42
See, it says that right there in Jeremiah 29 verse 11. It doesn't say any of those things.
08:52
And here's one of the issues. I know the plans I have for you.
09:01
That's plural. I know the plans I have for y 'all. So the question then is, who's the y 'all there?
09:11
Well, when we, when we apply the three rules for sound biblical exegesis, okay, we come to Jeremiah chapter 29 verse one.
09:23
These are the words of the letter that Jeremiah, the prophet sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders of the exile and to the priests and the prophets and all the people whom
09:36
Nebuchadnezzar had taken into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. Oh, we're reading somebody else's mail, right?
09:46
And so God is addressing them. Now we learned something about God's nature for sure.
09:52
But the exact things that are commanded in this letter and the things that are promised don't apply to you and me.
09:59
Think of it this way. All right. Abraham was told by God to leave his home and wander to the promised land and live there and sojourn as a stranger, as an alien in the promised land.
10:11
That was what God commanded Abraham to do. Has God commanded you to leave your parents and wander and do a sojourn in a promised land?
10:22
No. And if you were to do that, we would probably want to get you locked up and mentally checked out because clearly what
10:29
God commanded Abraham there doesn't apply to you. And then
10:34
I would note when it comes to circumcision in the new covenant, Christians are not required to circumcise their male children.
10:42
The New Testament is very, very clear and explicit about this. I would see Acts chapter 15 or the whole book of Galatians if you're confused about said topic.
10:52
That being the case, you'll note that certain people were commanded by God to circumcise their young boys and those people were the ones under the
11:00
Abrahamic covenant and then later under the Mosaic covenant. But Gentiles are not under that covenant.
11:07
In fact, the Mosaic covenant is kaput. It doesn't even exist anymore. And the requirement to circumcise your male children is no longer a requirement for anybody because the
11:19
Mosaic covenant, not even today's Orthodox Jews keep it. Far from it, by the way. So all that being said, we're going to note here, okay, that Jeremiah 29 verse 11 is part of a letter written by the prophet
11:34
Jeremiah, dictated by God to him, written specifically to the exiles in Babylon who were taken captive by Nebuchadnezzar.
11:44
Now, if this isn't you, then the specific things said here don't apply to you, all right?
11:52
So this was after King Jeconiah and the Queen Mother and the eunuchs and the officials of Judah and Jerusalem, the craftsmen and the metal workers had departed from Jerusalem.
12:01
And the letter was sent by the hand of Elisha, the son of Shaphon, and Gemariah, the son of Hilkiah, whom
12:07
Zedekiah, the king of Judah, sent to Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon. It said this, thus says
12:14
Yahweh of hosts or army, Yahweh of armies, right? The God of Israel, to all the exiles whom
12:22
I have sent into exile. Here we go again. Who's this written to? The exiles. And that's why it's y 'all, you know, because this is, it's written to a plural group of people.
12:34
To all the exiles whom I have sent into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon. Here we go. Build houses, live in them, plant gardens, eat their produce, take wives, have sons and daughters, take wives for your sons and give your daughters in marriage so that they may bear sons and daughters, multiply there.
12:54
Do not decrease, but seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile and pray to Yahweh on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare.
13:05
For thus says the Lord of armies, the God of Israel, do not let your prophets and your diviners who are among you deceive you and do not listen to the dreams that they dream, for it is a lie that they are prophesying to you in my name.
13:19
I did not send them, declares Yahweh. For thus says Yahweh, when 70 years are completed for Babylon, I'm going to note here, this is verse 10, sorry about that light, it's going out, we'll just have to consider it to be like lightning, right?
13:36
For thus says Yahweh, when 70 years are completed for Babylon, I will visit you and I will fulfill to you my promise and bring you back to this place.
13:45
Huh, when 70 years are completed for Babylon, now you can see what's going on.
13:51
That's verse 10, the one right before 11, because 10 goes before 11. So for I know the plans
13:57
I have for y 'all, the ones in Babylon, verse 10, declares Yahweh, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope, and then you will call upon me and come and pray to me and then
14:10
I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you, declares
14:16
Yahweh, and I will restore your fortunes and gather you from all the nations and all the places where I have driven you, declares
14:23
Yahweh, and I will bring you back to the place from which I sent you into exile. Because you have said,
14:28
Yahweh has raised up prophets for us in Babylon, thus says Yahweh, concerning the king who sits on the throne of David, concerning all people who dwell in the city, your kinsmen who did not go out with you into exile, thus says
14:39
Yahweh of armies, behold I am sending on them sword, famine, pestilence.
14:45
I will make them like vile figs that are so rotten that they cannot be eaten. I will pursue them with sword, famine, and pestilence, and will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, a terror, a hissing, and a reproach among all the nations where I have driven them, because they did not pay attention to my words, declares
15:04
Yahweh, that I persistently sent to you by my servants the prophets, but you would not listen, declares
15:10
Yahweh. So hear the word of Yahweh, all you exiles from whom I sent away into Jerusalem, to Babylon, thus says the
15:16
Lord of armies, the God of Israel, concerning Ahav, the son of Kalaia, and Zedekiah, the son of Maasaiah, who are prophesying a lie to you in my name, behold
15:28
I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar, the king of Babylon, and he will strike them down before your eyes, because of them this curse shall be used by all the exiles from Judah to Babylon.
15:40
Yahweh, make you like Zedekiah and Ahav, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire, because they have done an outrageous thing in Israel, they've committed adultery with their neighbor's wives, they have spoken in my name lying words that I did not command them,
15:55
I am the one who knows, I am witness, declares Yahweh. So you're going to note, there's a warning here to a couple of false prophets who happen to make their escape and ended up in captivity in Babylon and continued their false prophecies, they kind of set up their own
16:14
YouTube channel there in Babylon, God promised to punish them because they were speaking lies in his name.
16:22
And here's where Emma Stark and others like her might want to pay attention, because she's a liar, she's speaking lies in the name of God.
16:34
Now all of this pointing out Jeremiah 29 .11, Jeremiah 29 .11 isn't written to you, so you can't say, well
16:42
God has plans for my life, to make me healthy, wealthy and wise and all these kinds of things.
16:48
Nuh -uh, that ain't what Jeremiah 29 .11 is saying, when you put it back in context you can see what God was promising to the exiles in Babylon.
16:56
All that being said, you now understand the principle, Amos chapter 3 verse 7 says,
17:03
Yahweh does nothing without revealing his secrets first to his servants, the prophets. Well how about we add a little context there, shall we?
17:14
Amos chapter 3 verse 1, hear this word that Yahweh has spoken against you,
17:20
O people of Israel, against the whole family that I brought up out of the land of Egypt.
17:29
Oh, right, you see what's going on here? Amos is prophesying specifically to the people of Israel, the ones that God brought out of Egypt and he's prophesying at a time when there were prophets, there were real prophets and God is talking about how he deals with his people
17:53
Israel. This isn't some blanket promise in Amos 3 verse 7 that God won't do a thing, a thing without first revealing it to his prophets, talking about like everything in the world.
18:05
No, this is talking about how God sends prophets to reveal things to the people of Israel, the children of Israel and he did, best way
18:17
I can put it, he did read the prophets of the Old Testament. So here's what Amos says, you only have
18:23
I known of all the families of the earth. Oh, this is definitely written to them.
18:29
Therefore, I will punish you for all of your iniquities. Do not walk together unless, do two walk together unless they have agreed to meet?
18:37
Of course they don't, right? Does a lion roar in the forest when he has no prey? Apparently not. Does a young lion cry out from his den if he's taken nothing?
18:45
I don't know, but it doesn't sound right to me. Does a bird fall in a snare on the earth when there is no trap for it?
18:53
Definitely not, right? Does a snare spring up from the ground when it has taken nothing? No, unless it was made in China or something, right?
19:03
Is a trumpet blown in a city and the people are not afraid? Does disaster come to a city unless Yahweh has done it?
19:13
Apparently not. For the Lord Yahweh does nothing without revealing his secret to his servants, the prophets.
19:20
The lion has roared, who will not fear? Yahweh, the Lord Yahweh has spoken, but who can prophesy?
19:28
So you're going to note here God in speaking to Israel is talking about his relations with them and how he operated with them.
19:35
Now, by the way, God had nothing to say after the exile.
19:40
400 years went by from Malachi until the time of Christ, no prophets, not a single one.
19:46
And I would note, if you were to look at Christian church history, all right, let me just quiz you here for a second.
19:57
Who were the great prophets of Christianity in the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th centuries?
20:07
What were their names? There weren't any.
20:16
Nope. Now, here's the thing. I am a repentant charismatic
20:22
Pentecostal. I don't talk about this enough and I think I should. I and my wife spent time in the latter rain movement back in the late 1980s, first year of my marriage to my wife, and we had to repent of that.
20:38
And being in the latter rain movement, I happened to be an eyewitness to the time when the latter rain movement claimed that prophets had been restored to the church.
20:53
And then later after that, C. Peter Wagner and a group of wingnuts in the NAR claimed in the early 2000s that not only had
21:01
God restored prophets to the church, but then in the early 2000s, he had restored apostles as well.
21:09
And here's the thing. Because I'm an eyewitness in the latter rain movement to when prophets were restored to the church,
21:17
I would note growing up in Christianity, in American evangelicalism, a member of Pasadena Nazarene church back in the 80s, that I can legitimately tell you, had anybody prior to that time claimed that they were prophets, nobody would really trust them or believe them.
21:40
It wasn't until the latter rain and then the subsequent NAR movement declared that prophets had been restored to the church and apostles had been restored in the early 2000s where anybody was given any credibility who claimed to be a prophet today.
21:55
So that being the case, the reason why you cannot name the great prophets in Christianity from the 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th centuries is because there weren't any.
22:07
Because Amos 3, 7 isn't saying, God saying, I won't do anything on planet earth unless I first reveal it to my prophets.
22:19
That's not what he's saying. He's saying to Israel, the nation whom he is addressing here,
22:26
God has spoken to the people of Israel, the people he brought out of the land of Egypt, that regarding them, he wasn't going to do anything unless he revealed it to his prophets.
22:37
And he did. He sent prophet after prophet after prophet after prophet. Did they listen to him?
22:43
No. Okay? And so the disasters that came upon them, the horrible things that happened were fulfillment of what
22:51
God prophesied in judgment against them. And the fact that these things came to pass proves that God was the one who spoke those words.
23:02
Okay? God is dealing with his covenant people at that time. In the new covenant, there is no promise that God is going to, you know, not do anything unless he reveals it to the prophets.
23:12
In fact, let me pull this up. Daniel chapter 9 says something very interesting.
23:18
Seventy weeks are to create about your people and your holy city to finish transgression, to put an end to sin and to atone for iniquity, to bring an everlasting righteousness and to seal up both vision and profit and to anoint a most holy place.
23:30
Know therefore and understand that from the going out of the word to restore and to build Jerusalem to the coming of the anointed one, a prince, there shall be seven weeks and a prince, a prince, there shall be seven weeks.
23:42
Then for 62 weeks, it shall be built again with squares and a moat, but in troubled time.
23:47
And then after 62 weeks, an anointed one shall be cut off. That's Christ, Jesus, off and have nothing.
23:55
And the people of the prince who is to come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Its end shall come with a flood.
24:01
To the end, there shall be war. Desolations are decreed and he has made a strong covenant with many for one week and for half the week, he shall put an end to sacrifice and offering.
24:13
But you're going to note that in the 70 weeks is the promise that God is going to seal up both vision and profit.
24:24
And historically, the church has always understood that these weeks, they're done.
24:32
So we got a problem. Okay, Emma Stark here is claiming that Amos chapter three, verse seven,
24:40
Lord does nothing without revealing a secret to his servants, the prophets. It's not some blanket promise.
24:45
She's twisting up God's word, which then brings her into an interesting condemnation. Because remember what our requirement is.
24:52
Do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God. We have to determine the source. So what is the source of Emma Stark's prophecy?
25:01
Well, here's the thing. Deuteronomy 13, one says a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you and gives you a sign or a wonder and the sign or wonder that he tells you comes to pass.
25:10
And if he says, let us go after other gods, which you have not known and let us serve them, you shall not listen to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams.
25:17
I would note the God who contradicts Scripture and twists the
25:23
Scripture is not the God of the Bible. That's a different God, a false
25:28
God. So her inability to rightly handle a biblical text and to take a text and twist it for the purpose of giving a lying vision shows that she doesn't meet the theological test of a good prophet at all.
25:44
And as a result of it, we can determine very definitively Emma Stark is a false prophet.
25:53
So let's let me back this up just a little bit and let's listen a little bit more. People in the spirit. So he limits himself to some things happening in the earth according to whether a prophet has first heard it said.
26:07
And when I... No, God does not limit himself whether or not a prophet has first, you know, said it. Nope. That's a different deity, ma 'am.
26:15
That's not the God of Scripture. You've twisted Amos 3, 7 and made it say something it doesn't say. Those pages being ripped.
26:22
I mean, the noise of the angelic, you know, when you hear things in the spirit and they're super amplified, it was wailing, crushing, lamenting this.
26:32
This was the wailing of the angelic by the angels because people haven't fulfilled their
26:38
God. Now, I got to point this out. This is hilarious. Sid Roth now has to interject, but he's not paying attention to the details of Emma Stark's new revelation.
26:54
As a result of it, he's going to miss it. He's going to get it wrong and because he thinks he knows what she's saying, but he's not really paying attention because she's not.
27:07
He's never heard anyone talk like this. Because what she's saying is false. So he thinks the angels are wailing and weeping and there's a noise because people haven't fulfilled their destiny.
27:17
But listen again and you'll hear Emma Stark have to correct Sid Roth who got it wrong, but she's lying anyway.
27:26
Wailing, crushing, lamenting this. This was the wailing of the angelic by the angels because people haven't fulfilled their
27:35
God -given destiny. Prophets hadn't spoken it. Oh, yeah. So it's not that the people didn't fulfill their destiny, it's because prophets hadn't spoken things.
27:44
Prophets hadn't spoken it, which is why I'm in Amos. And so the angels are going, no prophet prophesied that. Rip out.
27:50
No prophet prophesied that. Rip out. No prophet prophesied that. Rip out. No prophet - Absolute lies.
27:56
This is blasphemy. This is just utter blasphemy. So she's basically saying that the angels up there are tearing out books from, you know, pages from the books of heaven because no prophet had prophesied certain things.
28:09
God didn't proph - You know, no prophet told us that Crest Toothpaste was coming on the market. Gone. It's nonsense, okay?
28:19
Prophesied that. Rip out. And it was, there was a trash can, we would call it a rubbish bin in Europe, but this pile of what was going to end up as trash of the stories of lives.
28:28
And the Lord says, where are my purified prophets? Where are my people? Not even prophets. Let's not make it exclusive.
28:33
Where are those who will just hear what I'm saying? Where the word of God says, all can prophesy.
28:38
Where are those who live - Oh, all can prophesy. There's another twisting of scripture.
28:45
Let me explain. So if I were to head over to, well, I need a
28:50
Greek text. All right. If I were to head over to 1 Corinthians chapter 12. 1
28:57
Corinthians chapter 12 says this, now you are the body of Christ and visually are members of it.
29:02
God is appointed in the church, first apostles, second prophets, third teachers and miracles and gifts of healing, helping, administrating in various kinds of tongues.
29:11
Are all apostles? No. May pontes apostoloid. The may here in the
29:17
Greek means that the question has to be answered in the negative. Are all prophets?
29:22
May pontes prophetai. Are all prophets? May. No. No. Not all can prophesy, ma 'am.
29:30
You are lying. This is a different deity because the deity she claims is behind her prophecies contradicts what
29:39
God has spoken in the scriptures. That's a different God altogether.
29:45
A God I am not aware of and don't know anything about. I will not worship such a
29:50
God because God doesn't lie. In the spirit, by the spirit, spirit led, not just spirit filled.
29:56
Where are the cry of the angels? The cry of the Lord himself? Where are those who will throw themselves at my feet to hear my voice?
30:05
Because I've limited myself in. I would note something here.
30:12
I hear the voice of God every single day. How? By opening my
30:21
Bible and reading it. That's interesting.
30:29
I would note something here. If I were to go to Acts chapter, let's say 20, right?
30:35
Acts chapter 20. Paul is giving his farewell address to the elders, the pastors of the congregations in the city of Ephesus.
30:45
And listen to what he says. You yourselves know how I lived among you the whole time from the first day until I set foot in Asia, serving the
30:52
Lord with all humility, with tears, and with trials that happened to me through the plots of the Jews.
30:58
How I did not shrink from declaring to you anything that was profitable and teaching you in public from house to house, testifying to both
31:05
Jews and to Greeks of repentance towards God and of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. And now behold,
31:10
I'm going to Jerusalem constrained by the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there, except that the Holy Spirit testifies to me that in every city that imprisonment and afflictions await me.
31:20
But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself. If only I may finish my course in the ministry that I received from the
31:27
Lord Jesus to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. And now behold, I know that none of you among whom
31:35
I have gone about proclaiming the kingdom will see my face again. So this is his farewell address.
31:40
You're never going to see me again. So therefore I testify to you this day, I am innocent of the blood of all.
31:47
I did not shrink from declaring to you the whole counsel of God. So pay careful attention to yourselves and all the flock in which the
31:54
Holy Spirit has made you overseers. To care for the church of God, which he obtained with his own blood.
31:59
When did God bleed on the cross? Jesus is God in human flesh.
32:05
I know that after my departure, fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.
32:11
And from among your own selves will arise men speaking twisted things to draw away disciples after themselves.
32:19
Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish every one of you with tears.
32:24
And now I command, I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
32:36
What does Paul commend them to? The Bible. That's what
32:42
Paul commends them to, the actual written word of God. Isn't it fascinating that in 2
32:50
Timothy chapter 3, Paul's last letter, he does the same thing with young pastor
32:58
Timothy. All scripture is breathed out by God, profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and training in righteousness.
33:06
The man of God may be complete and equipped for every good work.
33:11
And so note, he's going to earlier before that, remind pastor
33:18
Timothy about false teachers. And here's what he says. Indeed, verse 12, all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted while evil people and imposters will go on from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived.
33:31
But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have firmly believed, knowing from whom you have learned it and how from childhood you've been acquainted with the writings which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.
33:44
So his parting words to Timothy before he's going to have his head taken off his shoulders by a
33:49
Roman soldier, is to point Timothy to what?
33:55
The word. The elders of Ephesus. He pointed them to the word, to warn them about the false prophets and false teachers who would arise.
34:03
And then in 2 Peter, Peter does the exact same thing. His last letter before he's crucified and he'll be crucified upside down.
34:14
Peter says, And we now have the prophetic word more fully confirmed to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your heart.
34:45
Knowing this, first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone's own interpretation.
34:52
No prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the
34:57
Holy Spirit. Paul twice, Peter once.
35:04
Both of these farewell addresses, who does he entrust them to? God and the
35:09
Bible. Emma Stark here, if you would read your
35:14
Bible and test her according to the biblical standards and tests of a prophet, you would say,
35:20
This woman is a false prophet because she is. The word of God in the Scriptures teaches me that she is.
35:26
And she is revealing things here that are not only not in the Bible, but contradict the
35:33
Scriptures. Therefore, by necessity, she is a false prophet and must be marked and avoided.
35:40
Do not listen to her. These are not words from God. This is not a vision that God has given her.
35:46
She is speaking a vision that contradicts the Bible. Therefore, she is a false prophet.
35:52
Listen again. The cry of the angels, the cry of the Lord himself. Where are those who will throw themselves at my feet to hear my voice?
36:01
Because I've limited myself in Amos chapter three to action only when a prophet or prophetic person has heard it first.
36:11
Nope, that's a flat out contradiction of Scripture. God has never said he will limit himself and only do things before, only with a prophet saying it first.
36:21
Total twisting of Scripture. This woman is a liar. She is a deceiver. And you're going to note who's platforming her?
36:30
Sid Roth. He's participating in her sin. Absolutely participating in it by giving her a platform and telling people she's a prophetess.
36:40
She's not. In fact, I would note that there's a very strongly worded letter called Second John.
36:46
If you haven't read it, I recommend it highly. Okay, the
36:51
Apostle John writes, I rejoice greatly to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as we were commanded by the
36:59
Father. And now I ask you, dear lady, not as though I were writing to a new command, but the one we have had from the beginning that we love one another.
37:07
And this is love that we walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, so that you should walk in it.
37:16
For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh.
37:22
Those are the Gnostics, and John warns very strongly against them. Such a one is a deceiver and an antichrist.
37:28
So watch yourself so that you may not lose what we have worked for, but may win a full reward. Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ does not have
37:38
God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house or give him any greeting.
37:49
Whoever greets him takes part in his wicked works. No, we are commanded by God to not listen to these people, and if anyone comes to you teaching a different doctrine, you don't receive them.
38:01
And how do you know? Well, they're not abiding. They're going beyond what is written in the word of God.
38:06
Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching, right? So you'll note, that's exactly what
38:14
Emma Stark is doing. Who's participating in this sin? Sid Roth, right? A second here.
38:26
I'm not going to read this one. I just thought I'd throw this in, but I'll save this for another time.
38:31
That's a slightly different era that 3 John addresses. But you get the point that's going on here.
38:37
This is wicked. This is evil. This is blasphemy. And we're only 4 minutes, 24 seconds into whatever this appearance is, and already we have determined that God the
38:50
Holy Spirit is not the source of whatever this woman is babbling on about. You know,
38:57
I've read that scripture many times, and I never saw how profound and important it is.
39:02
That's right, because she took it out of context. She's applying it in a way that, and using it in a way that it does not actually correctly convey what the text means in context, sir.
39:13
Teaching right now. Isn't it shocking, though, that God loves partnership with us that much?
39:21
Again, you're adding to the scriptures, lady. And you're contradicting the word of God. We tend to think of God a little bit like in the
39:28
Old Testament way, a little bit in the kind of Ezekiel 1 way, God seated on the throne outside the circle of the earth.
39:33
We tend to think of God way up there. And yet this new covenant God is this indwelling
39:39
God who's saying, look, I want partnership with you more than anything else. So I will withhold.
39:46
Look, let's be real. If you and I and the people in the audience and the people watching at home, if you don't prophesy the moves of God, if you don't prophesy the salvations, if you don't prophesy restoration, if you don't say,
39:58
I'm giving my life to hear God, and if you don't bring that forth, we actually bring a containment to the action potential of God.
40:06
Oh, come on. Not only does God not limit himself the way you're saying, you're saying, if we don't go out there and prophesy, then we're putting a containment on God.
40:17
What does this message do of hers? It basically becomes the breeding ground for an army of false prophets and wingnut wackerdoodles.
40:29
We won't even be able to keep track of them. We'll have to do Prophecy Bingo weekly. Because what this is a recruiting video for is for more people to delusionally think they're hearing the voice of God, and if they don't go out and prophesy,
40:42
God can't do things on the earth. Baloney. Absolute poppycock.
40:50
This is bovine scatology, lady. This is not God the Holy Spirit who revealed this to you.
40:56
You are twisting God's word, and God will hold you accountable. I suggest you read the tail end of Jeremiah 29 or look at Jeremiah 28 and what
41:06
God did to that false prophet who is speaking lies in his name. This woman is doing the same thing as the false prophets of the old because she is exactly like them.
41:16
She herself is a false prophet. So hopefully you found this helpful. If so, all the information on how you can share the video is down below in the description.
41:23
And until next time, may God richly bless you in the grace and mercy won by Jesus Christ and his vicarious death on the cross.
41:29
For all of your sins. Amen. So nice to see that you made it to the end.
