How do God’s sovereignty and humanity’s free will work together in salvation? | GotQuestions.org
8 views
Man's free will vs God's sovereignty is an age-old question. The sovereignty of God in the Bible is clear. At the same time, man’s free will in the Bible is just as obvious. But which is it? Is man free to choose, or does God’s sovereignty override man’s choices? In this video, Pastor Nelson with Bible Munch answers the question, “How do God’s sovereignty and humanity’s free will work together in salvation?”.

- Today's question is, how do God's sovereignty and humanity's free will work together in salvation?
- 00:06
- In this video I'll answer that question from a biblical perspective, then afterwards, as always,
- 00:11
- I'll share some helpful resources, so stick around until the end. It is impossible for us to fully understand the relationship between God's sovereignty and man's free will and responsibility.

- Christ as Savior. If we believe in Jesus Christ, we will be saved, Romans 10, verses 9 -10.
- 01:31
- God knows who will be saved, and God chooses who will be saved, and we must choose
- 01:36
- Christ in order to be saved. How these facts work together is impossible for a finite mind to comprehend,
- 01:44
- Romans 11, verses 33 -36. Our responsibility is to take the gospel to the world,
- 01:51
- Acts 1, verse 8. We should leave foreknowledge, election, and predestination up to God and simply be obedient and sharing the gospel.
