Watch Carefully - This is a Sign

I am a Christian, that is my faith. Those aren't Tennessee Christian values. I live in Tennessee.

I am Christian. That's not what we stand for. Because my faith is involved with,

I'm a Christian and a Catholic. There are people out there who are now moving away from preserving the truth and basically are saying, you know what,

I am a Christian and Christianity is wrong. Make no mistake, I am a

Christian. I believe in God. But and I don't believe he makes mistakes. God is real and God lives inside of me.

Even now I'll speak to like my pastor and be like, can you just pray with me because I need some sort of guidance right now.

I am embracing this lifestyle and the world says, yes, the enlightened ones.

Our church loved us, really, really inspired us. They are true Christians that realize we're all sinners and no sin is greater than the other.

So they just don't follow the Bible. They do follow the Bible. I mean, I obviously reject that I have fallen into apostasy or deconverted.

You deny scripture as the ultimate foundation of life. You are an apostate. You are an apostate.

I said this on this show once before, Jesus would be the grand marshal at the pride parade. And the end result is those who are holding fast to the truth are now further marginalized.

False religion can be labeled Judaism. False religion can be labeled Christianity. False religion can even be labeled evangelicalism.

False religion can even talk about Christ and the gospel.

You must be born again here in America because of the last several years, several decades of evangelism.

The idea of born again is totally lost. It only means that at one time in a crusade, you made a decision and you think you were sincere.

As people say, this is real Christianity because they're open, affirming, and tolerant.

And you are absolutely not like Jesus because you are a hateful bigot.

The sad reality is that not everyone who professes to be a Christian will be in heaven.

The Bible is very clear that many people who call themselves Christians are actually still enemies of God who will end up in hell.

Do you want to know what your profession of faith in Jesus Christ is worth?

Your confession of faith in him, what it's worth? The answer is this, it's worth absolutely nothing.

It's worth absolutely nothing. They come to him on that day and say, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name cast out demons and in your name perform many miracles?

Depart from me, I never knew you. What's shocking about this passage is that the many that Jesus is talking about here are not blatant non -Christians, but rather people who actually call themselves

Christians. When he speaks about few finding eternal life, he's talking about those who profess his name.

Among those who call Jesus Lord, few of them will find eternal life.

And it's not just professing Christians on the left who are headed to hell. There are also many conservatives who call themselves

Christians who clearly have not submitted to the true gospel and all that the Bible teaches. Donald Trump professes to be a

Christian, but listen to the absolutely shocking thing he says about forgiveness in this interview.

Well, let me ask you, because one of the potential attack lines has to do with an answer you gave to Frank Luntz months ago when you said that you've never asked

God for forgiveness. Do you regret making that remark? No, I have great relationship with God.

I have great relationship with the evangelicals. In fact, nationwide, I'm up by a lot.

I'm leading everybody. But I like to be good. I don't like to have to ask for forgiveness.

And I am good. I don't do a lot of things that are bad. I try and do nothing that's bad. I live a very different life than probably a lot of people would think.

And I have a very great relationship with God. And I have a very great relationship with the evangelicals.

It should be completely obvious that whatever Donald Trump believes, it is not the true saving gospel of Jesus Christ, where forgiveness from God is absolutely essential and foundational to being right with God.

And that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Christ died for sin once for all. The just for the unjust in order that he might bring us back to God.

I love the way Isaiah puts it. All of us had gone astray. Each of us had turned to his own way. But God has laid upon him the iniquity of us all.

He freed us from our sins by his blood.

And take a look at what both Charlie Kirk and the other man he is with, who is proud to engage in same -sex behavior, say about being

Christians. Where conservatives should take a moral stance on Christian morality or should we abandon it altogether?

So in other words, what is TPUSA's, what is your brand of conservatism doing to actually conserve

Christian morality? If we're ceding to the left on gay rights, marriage, we don't want that in conservatism.

So you don't want him in the conservative movement? I just want to be very clear. Let's just be...

So you don't want me in the movement? Hold on a second. I want to be very clear.

Hold on a second. You're bringing some very charged language. I'm going to try to calm down the temperature in the room so I can try to rationally understand an irrational position.

Let me finish. Let me finish. So I'm a

Christian. I believe the Bible is the greatest book ever to exist in the history of the world. And I believe

Rob Smith has decency and dignity as an individual in the United States of America.

Hold on a second. We're not a theocracy. We never have been. You know what? And wait a minute.

And wait a minute. Let me hop in here. Hold on. Because he's addressing me. The thing that I don't understand.

Well, I'm addressing you. How about that? We don't even have the courage to address the man on stage. So the problem that I have with, as somebody that is a

Christian, and this is the problem that I have, because my relationship with God and coming back into the church over the past year and a half is one of the greatest gifts that has been given to me in terms of being in this movement.

So my question, and my question to everybody who tries to say that, oh, you shouldn't be, you know,

Christian because you're... Why are you trying to turn people away from God? So if you love

God and Christianity, it's all right, because I do love God. So why would you be trying to turn me away?

Why would you be trying to turn me away from God? However, if being a true Christian involves believing and submitting to all that the

Bible clearly teaches, then there seems to be something very wrong with their supposedly Christian professions of faith.

Enough already with this gay Christian stuff. And I don't just say enough already.

I don't mean this in the sense of, you know, they're over there and I'm over here. I mean this in the pastoral sense.

How cruel is that? If a man comes to me talking about a desire for a woman who is not his wife,

I'm not going to tell him to just go ahead and embrace the desire because the desire in and of itself is okay.

It's not! God gave them up to dishonorable passions. Steve Harvey also professes to be a

Christian. Hey, I'm Steve Harvey. Stand -up comedian, entertainer, television host, family man.

But most importantly, I happen to be a man of faith. However, Steve Harvey explicitly rejects many things that scripture clearly teaches.

There's no one way to heaven. No one way to paradise. It's like television.

Now it's over 800 channels of cable and they're all pretty entertaining. So I'm pretty sure, man, that to get to heaven, there's got to be more than one route.

It costs somebody watching another channel or taking another channel than you. They're still getting entertained and they're probably still getting to heaven.

Whatever Steve Harvey believes, it is not the true gospel of Jesus Christ who said himself that he is the way, the truth, and the life and that no one goes to the father except through him.

And listen to what Steve Harvey says about the secret and the law of attraction, which is a heretical doctrine that is completely antithetical to what scripture actually teaches.

And one book that resonates with me all the time is this book right here. It's called

The Secret. It is the most powerful book outside of the

Bible that I have ever read in my life. And the book is based on the law of attraction and how that principle, once you master it, can help you find wealth, happiness, better health, whatever you're looking for, relationships.

So let me share some of the concepts that have helped keep me on my game.

So the first one is like attracts like. You have to understand, you are a magnet.

Whatever you are, that's what you draw to you. However, the secret and the law of attraction is simply pagan and not

Christian at all. I have actually had people over the last few years come to me and tell me how greatly and spiritually changed they were by reading a book called

The Secret. The Secret is a book based on Eastern pantheism,

I guess you could say. All things are one. You are one with the universe.

We are the light. We are the I am. We are the truth. We are God. That's some of that Eckhart Tolle nonsense.

But the appeal of The Secret is that you have within you the force, the energy, the power to create whatever kind of life you want.

And of course, we already saw in the introduction that celebrities such as Oprah, Taylor Swift, Stephen Colbert, Kristin Chenoweth, Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, and Kiko from the

Whatever podcast are unashamed to say that they are Christian. However, Christians are people who have not only trusted in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation, but who have also been born again and submit to all that God has revealed in the

Bible. It's absolutely clear that none of the celebrities we just listed have done that.

Here is Oprah trying to get Christian pastors to affirm her in her unbiblical beliefs.

Will a gay person be accepted into heaven as you see it? Well, I believe they will. Are there many paths or different paths to God?

Great question. Let me answer that this way. Are all the religions leading to that path or is only

Christianity leading to that path? Well, I think you can get in Christianity and miss that path if you're not careful.

I think it's great that you all made a conscious choice to include gay marriage in here. Absolutely.

Yeah, why? Because one of the oldest aches in the bones of humanity is loneliness.

Clearly, Oprah is pushing for her own version of Christianity that is not biblical Christianity at all.

And she still needs to hear and believe the gospel to be saved. I would never want Oprah to hold up my book.

They're not telling you the truth. I would go on Oprah's show and let her spit in my face if she'll hold up one of my books so that people will go and read what's in there because prayerfully, they will encounter the gospel.

And then there's Stephen Colbert who not only supports unbiblical policies about marriage and ending the life of pre -born children but also blasphemed and mocked

God in this segment with Oprah. Oprah, Stephen, what's up? Hey.

Hey, God. It's God, everybody. Give it up for the Lord. Hey, everybody.

I just spit out my gum. I'm sorry about this, Oprah. I apologize. I apologize. God stops by every once in a while.

He's a fan. Can I help you, Lord? I'm kind of in the middle of talking to somebody important. Oh, I know,

Stephen. I'm a huge fan. I hear thou seekest a sign.

Well, is this clear enough? Take your time.

I've been here for eternity. Recently, there was a lot of debate on Twitter about whether Stephen Colbert is a genuine

Christian with someone as prominent as Tim Keller defending Stephen Colbert's supposed Christian faith.

However, not only does Stephen Colbert believe things that no Christian should believe, he is also a Catholic, which is a problem in itself.

Lord, we're all Catholic friends. Listen to this. The Council of Trent. Session 6,

Canon 9. If anyone says that by faith alone the sinner is justified, so as to mean that nothing else is required to cooperate in order to obtain the grace of justification, let him be anathema.

And finally, if anyone says that the guilt is remitted to every penitent sinner after the grace of justification has been received and that the debt of eternal punishment is so blotted out that there remains no debt of temporal punishment to be discharged either in this world or in the next in purgatory before the entrance to the kingdom of heaven can be opened, let him be anathema.

They do not preach the same gospel. There's also Taylor Swift, who claims she knows what Christian values really are.

However, Taylor Swift is now one of the strongest defenders of behavior that scripture speaks extremely clearly about.

We're gonna act how we want, love who we want, be who we want, say what we want. And so I was very inspired with this album.

You'll hear like flickers and hints of 80s. I wrote the song kind of following when gay marriage became legal in New York.

It's simply not enough to just call yourself a Christian. A Christian is someone who was born again by God, which results in a desire to obey all that God has revealed in the

Bible. But then it gets real serious when you ask the next question.

Why? Now everything gets complicated and people will look at you with anything from shock that you would ask such a question to utter despair because they have no idea what to say next.

If you can't say amen, you ought to say ouch. We just don't know. There are millions of people in the world today who would call themselves

Christians. But if they were asked about why they are a Christian, they would give an answer that clearly demonstrates that they are not in fact true

Christians who believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ and the Bible. Listen to what this college student said about where her faith comes from.

Pay very close attention to what she leaves out. How do you know Christ's message? Where did you get

Christ's message from? Where did you get Christ's message? Where did you find it?

That wasn't very nice. You said we're being unloving, but you've been insulting the whole time.

So who's being loving? I'm loving to lots of other people. You're the one that's trying to force trauma on children.

She is a professing Christian who said she received Christ's message from her parents and her community.

But she says absolutely nothing about the Bible, which is the true source of the gospel message. Earlier, we saw popular singer and actress

Christian Chenoweth say that she is a Christian. But take a look at what she says immediately before and after her profession of faith.

I'm 4 '11". What would I do if that was a sin? I couldn't do anything about it because that's the way God made me. And I do believe...

Make no mistake. I am a Christian. I believe in God. And I don't believe he makes mistakes.

So I believe that being gay is not a sin. And in fact, it's how you're made. However, Christian is very wrong about at least two things here.

First, the sex that a person is attracted to is not an immutable characteristic that people are born with.

So are there differences between ethnicity and so -called sexual orientation?

Absolutely there are. Ethnicity is innate and unchangeable.

So -called sexual orientation is not innate. And it is changeable.

We know this. 1 Corinthians chapter 6 is 2000 -year -old evidence that people stop being gay. So we know that it's neither innate nor is it unchangeable.

So there are huge differences between the two. However, if all you're doing is using the language of the culture and the idea of people as constituencies, then you end up right where we are.

And it's hard to stop that train. And second, even if some people are born with particular inclinations towards particular sins, that does not excuse those sins.

They're arguing that this is the way we were made or this is the way that we have evolved.

And therefore, there is no morality associated with it. And this is a dangerous statement to make.

I mean, suppose we can say that I have a genetic predisposition toward violence.

Does that make it okay? Because we can prove that I have a genetic predisposition.

If I have a genetic predisposition toward drunkenness, does that make it okay? Officer pulls me over.

Sir, you been drinking? Officer, I don't even know. Sir, you want to get out of the car?

Okay, but before I do, you just need to know I got that drunk gene. Oh, well, sir,

I'm sorry. Please weave on your way. Oh, yeah, yeah. Pop superstar

Beyonce is also unashamed to say that she is Christian, but her recent album called Renaissance was filled with satanism and blasphemy.

And it is clear that Beyonce is trying to twist Christianity into her own perverse unbiblical version of Christianity.

Here is Beyonce calling a behavior beautiful when she should be calling people to turn away from this behavior towards God.

To all those who feel different, if you're part of a group that's called Other, a group that does not get the chance to be center stage.

Build your own stage and make them see you. Your queerness is beautiful.

And even someone like Nicki Minaj professes to be a Christian and she has a pastor who supports what she is doing.

However, it's extremely easy to look at Nicki Minaj's immoral lifestyle and music. For example, she has an extremely immoral song called

Super Freaky Girl and know that Nicki Minaj is not a true born -again Christian who submits to God's moral law.

And I'm just curious that if I were to make the list what, how might, how might you inform me?

Oh my god, oh my god. What signs might you drop about me? I would say, okay,

I would say I might f**k Steven after the show. He's gonna come back to work with a magical glow, but.

The Bible very clearly condemns the kind of sexual immorality that professing Christians like Nicki Minaj celebrate and promote sexual immorality.

From where does that word come? What does it actually mean? Comes from the Greek word Pornia. Now I'm going to use a definition given by Lo and Nida, Greek scholars, and they say this.

The word Pornia means to engage in sexual immorality of any kind. Sexual immorality of any kind.

So I want you to see performing some unbiblical act with another person is no different than all the other expressions.

That they are all wrapped up in wickedness. It was also fascinating to hear

Kiko on the Whatever podcast try to use the Bible to defend behavior that scripture is actually very clear about.

The Bible has been translated multiple times and there is proof and evidence stating that most of those translations from those scriptures, they were actually saying a man should not lay with a child.

It was not man and man. A lot of things have been translated because there's so much P word that runs through the church that they do things.

Oh, are we talking like it's not in the Vatican? There's not. We don't have these things. I'm sorry, I can't listen to that false. I learned the

Bible in the original language that was written. I learned in Aramaic and I learned in Hebrew and it's never a child. It's a man should not lay in bed with another man.

And so Jews don't even share beds like on sleep away trips. If we went overnight, Jews, two guys are not allowed to even share a bed for a sleepover because it's that serious.

There are literally millions of people who call themselves Christians who do not believe in true Christianity, but rather in a false

Christianity that they have created for themselves, whether it is in a Christianity without biblical morality or whether it is in a

Christianity that is all about biblical morality rather than about faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Listen to me carefully. Hell will be filled with people who are baptized.

Hell will be filled with people who don't drink and don't smoke and don't curse and didn't have sex outside of marriage.

There will be millions of people in hell who can make every one of those claims because not one of those things makes you a

Christian. True Christians, first and foremost, have faith in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation and not at all in their own good works.

I want you to look at something. Go over with me quickly to the book of James. Go to chapter two. Now, before I read it,

I want to read you this from the Apostle Paul. Nevertheless, knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law.

Since by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified. If he had had my English literature professor in college, he would have flunked with this passage.

He is redundant, redundant, redundant, repeating, repeating over and over. And what is he repeating to men?

It is not through works. It is not through works. It is not through works. It is not through works. It is not through works.

At the same time, true saving faith will result in a transformed life of good works.

These good works do not earn salvation in any way, but are merely the inevitable fruit of true salvation.

Let's go to 16. You will know them by their fruit. How will you know a false prophet in the wider application here in all of Scripture?

How will you know if someone is a genuine Christian? By their fruit. By their fruit, my dear friend.

Look at your life. Look at the way you walk. Look at the way you talk. Look at the passions of your heart.

Is Jesus in there somewhere or is he just some accessory that you add on to your life? Is he just something you do on Wednesday or Sunday?

Is he something that you give a mental assent to? Is he an accessory or is he the very center of your life?

And what is the fruit that you're bearing? Do you look like the world, act like the world? Do you have an experience the same joys that the world experiences?

Can you love sin and relish it? Can you love rebellion and relish it?

Then you know, not God. You will know them by their fruit.

God has the power to change. Let's imagine for a moment

Jesus teaching this passage and you're sitting out there listening and he looks at you.

He says, thistles, thistles. Do you find thistles on fig trees?

And you respond, of course not, Jesus. I mean, you're not an agriculturalist. You're not a farmer.

I mean, you're a carpenter. But I mean, everybody knows Jesus. You don't find thorns on fig trees.

Well, well, then let me ask you another question. Do you find figs, good fruit on thorn trees?

Why, no, Jesus, that's absolutely ludicrous. I mean, you're never going to find thorns on a fig tree and you're not going to find figs on a thorn tree.

Jesus to say that that could be possible. Anyone who tells you that, Jesus, you can mark it down. They're either crazy or they're a liar.

And then Jesus responds to you, well, then those who call themselves my disciples.

And bear bad fruit, would not it be the same to say that they were either lying or out of their mind to make such a statement?

Let me take it a little further. Let's imagine that I show up late and I run up here on the platform and all the leaders are angry with me.

I said, Brother Paul, don't you appreciate the fact you're giving the opportunity to speak here and you come late? And I said, brothers, you have to forgive me.

Well, why? Well, I was out here on the highway and I was driving and I had a flat tire and I got out to change the tire.

And when I was changing the tire, the lug nut fell off and I wasn't paying attention that I was on the highway. And I ran out and I grabbed the lug nut.

And as soon as I picked it up in the middle of the highway, I stood up and there was a 30 ton logging truck going 120 miles an hour, about 10 yards in front of me.

And it ran me over. And that's why I'm late. Now, there would only be two logic.

I know no one studies logic anymore, but there would only be two logical conclusions.

One, I'm a liar or two, I'm a madman.

You would say, Brother Paul, it's absolutely absurd. It is impossible, Brother Paul, to have an encounter with something as large as a logging truck and not be changed.

And then my question would be to you, what is larger, a logging truck or God? How is it that so many people today profess to have had an encounter with Jesus Christ and yet they are not permanently changed?
