Hey guys, Colin here, and welcome back to Fight for Truth, the channel where we bring you Christian commentary about the things that matter.

In today's video, we're going to be talking about a recent segment on MSNBC. To begin,

MSNBC, for those who don't know, is a left -leaning media company that approves of all sorts of unbiblical ideologies, including, but not limited to, transgenderism.

And let me offer you a brief overview of the people who are about to be in this video. Joy Reid is the leftist interviewer, and Jim Wallace, the older man, is a progressive woke

Christian and an advocate of the red -letter movement. He is also the founder of Sojourner's Magazine.

And finally, we have a man named Charlotte Clymer, a biological man who puts on women's clothing and who asks to be called a woman, a transgender.

This is the crack team of analysts that MSNBC has put together in order to lecture

Christians on their bigotry against the trans community. Forgive me if I find myself unimpressed by this team, but let's continue anyway.

In this video, we're going to react to their segment as we analyze it biblically. And when we get to the transgender man here, you're going to be shocked at what he says.

You don't want to miss it, so stick around. But to start things off, watch this. And Charlotte, I mean, the thing is that there are real people that are being impacted.

Your community is being impacted. And I wonder if there is a way to disentangle people's sort of not understanding of trans folks, right?

I think the T is the toughest one in the alphabet soup, right? In the LGBTQ. The T gets skipped, right?

Because people don't have an understanding. People, even if they're not mean or not angry, don't have an understanding. Is there a way to sort of disentangle people's lack of understanding from this?

This moral panic is now getting drag shows banned, even though that isn't trans. So essentially, the argument in this first clip is as follows.

Many Americans, especially conservatives, oppose transgenderism. But not because it's obviously immoral and a perversion of ethical values, but because they are quite simply not able to understand it.

Conservative Christians are confused here when it comes to transgenderism. In a nutshell, we just don't get it.

And if we truly did, if we could finally have someone help us understand, in particular a bold trans person, to disentangle our confusion, as Joy Reid puts it, well then we might change our perspective.

And on this comment, I just want to note one thing. Please notice the blatant and unmistakable irony here.

Imagine being someone who doesn't know the difference between a man and a woman, and then lecturing other people on the fact that they are actually confused.

Imagine then that you're a person who thinks a man can become a woman just by putting on a dress and some lipstick, and then suggesting that someone else is actually the confused one.

Again, the irony here is abundantly obvious, and the fact that these people don't notice it is just astonishing, and it doesn't bode well for the rest of their interview.

But if that wasn't enough, then Joy Reid makes the astonishing claim that drag queen shows, quote, aren't even trans.

And this may sound ridiculous to some of you, as it should, because all of this is ridiculous. Long story short,

Joy Reid is saying this because there is a fundamental distinction in the LGBT community between drag performers and transgender people.

Drag queens are men, usually gay men, who dress up temporarily like women, usually for the purposes of entertainment.

But transgenders are people who dress up like the opposite sex permanently, and who want to be referred to by a different name and pronouns on a permanent basis because they believe that they actually are that gender.

But, you see, biblically speaking, this is a distinction without difference. For all intents and purposes, a drag queen is just a temporary transgender.

Deuteronomy 22, 5 says this, quote, A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak.

For whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God. End quote. Now, this command is part of the

Old Covenant law, but it still stands as a moral principle for us today, because it reinforces the creational distinction between male and female that has always and will always exist in God's creation.

In other words, it doesn't matter how long you pretend to be the opposite gender, or whether you consider yourself a drag queen or a trans person.

Biblically speaking, you are sinning, and you need to repent. But with that said, let's continue.

Watch this. I would challenge anyone just to get to know trans people. We are a vibrant, diverse community, as diverse as anyone else.

You know, I'm from the great state of Texas, I serve in the military, I go to church every Sunday, my faith is very important to me. But God made me in her image.

God made me transgender. So first he says that conservative Christians simply need to get to know trans people.

Why? Well, because then they would realize what a, quote, vibrant and diverse community they truly are.

This demonstrates how incredibly unaware this man is of the Christian worldview. He simply doesn't understand it.

You don't get brownie points for being diverse when you're rebelling against God. That's not how this works.

God did not destroy Sodom and Gomorrah because their culture wasn't enough of a melting pot. He destroyed them because they high -handedly violated

His moral law. To put it simply, you don't get a pass on being sinful just because you're diverse.

And second, this transgender man says that he's from Texas, he served in the military, he goes to church frequently, and his faith is very important to him.

Again, let me just say that not a single shred of that matters if you don't actually repent of your sin and trust in Christ.

In Acts 2 verse 38, Peter says this, quote, Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the

Holy Spirit. End quote. Being from Texas, going to church, being a veteran, or calling yourself a spiritual person does not actually make you a

Christian biblically. In John 14 -15, Jesus says, quote, If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

Now, this is not to say that your works save you, nor is it to suggest that Christians can never sin.

Rather, it demonstrates that someone who hates the standard of God to the point that they would unrepentantly participate in transgenderism in the way this man does is not exhibiting the marks of a true

Christian at all. People in our day and age think they are perfectly orthodox Christians just because they call themselves a, quote, person of faith.

But this shallow profession is far too vague to mean almost anything, let alone to prove that you are a genuine believer.

But the final statement here is truly astounding. The man says that, quote, God made me in her image.

God made me transgender. End quote. There are two blatant problems with this, although there are probably thousands all told.

But let's just stick with the basics here. First, God is not a her or a she. And referring to God with those pronouns is intentionally blasphemous.

In the description, I will put a link to an excellent article on this topic. The article, written by Simon Turpin, is entitled, quote,

Is God male or female? One of the themes of this piece is that God has chosen to reveal

Himself in His Word using male terms. Turpin notes that Jesus did not teach us to pray our mother in heaven, but rather our

Father in heaven, in Matthew 6, 9. To be clear, there are cases in which God is referred to using female imagery.

For one example, in Matthew 23, 27, Jesus says this, quote, How often would

I have gathered your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings? And you were not willing.

End quote. But whenever female imagery is used in this way to describe God, it is used in order to demonstrate some sort of quality that God possesses.

It is most definitely not used to directly call God a woman or a she or a her.

Such a statement would be completely out of step with Scripture and blasphemous to the very core. Throughout the entirety of Scripture, God is called

He or Him when a pronoun is used. Never is God called a she or a her, and for good reason.

So this begs the question, why does this transgender man call God a her in such a confident way?

Well, the first reason is that he clearly hates the truth of God's Word. There's no way to get around that.

But the second reason is best described as unbiblical feminism and its effects on the world. You see, modern feminism says that not only are men and women of equal moral value, but that their roles must be completely the same.

In other words, if there is any privilege that men have, women must have it too, and in equal measure.

And therefore, if God is called a he or a him, that is simply not fair. So in order to level the playing field,

God must also be called a she. And in this way, the modern world worships feminism and so -called equality above the truth of God's Word.

And this brings us to the second issue. The man says that God created him as a transgender. But quite simply, there is not a single shred of Biblical evidence for this claim.

Despite his assurances that his faith is very important to him, or that he attends church, it seems that he has failed to root his argument in any

Biblical truth. And that makes all the difference. Here's the big question. Is there any compelling evidence in the text of Scripture showing us that God makes people transgender from birth?

Obviously, there is no compelling evidence for this claim, and therefore, Christians should utterly reject it.

Genesis 127 clearly says, So God created man in his own image.

In the image of God he created him, male and female he created them. So this demonstrates, at the very least, that God does not create any separate categories.

In other words, to be non -binary is not an option in the creational order. And moreover, there is no additional evidence in Scripture that would indicate that people can be born externally as a man while being internally a fully -fledged woman.

It's simply not there. And this brings us to the next clip. Watch this. It breaks my heart.

I wonder what those families are thinking right now. What do you feel when you have somebody like Michael Knowles say at CPAC, we need to eradicate transgenderism, and when somebody like Tucker Carlson says that transgender people are at war with Christians?

I can't see Christ in their words. That's for damn sure. I can't see where the biblical principles of loving your neighbor and walking the walk with Christ that they can see.

I can't see what they're seeing right now, because that's not of Christ. It's not. So the host, Joy Reid, approached this transgender activist with some critical statements made by conservative commentators

Tucker Carlson and Michael Knowles. In response, the trans activist here says that he simply cannot see

Christ in their words, because that's not loving your neighbor, and that's not of Christ, he says. And this, ladies and gentlemen, is precisely what happens when you exalt personal, subjective experience above the objective standard of God's Word.

For so long in the Evangelical Church, many well -meaning people have said that Christianity isn't about doctrine.

No, it's about personal relationship with Jesus Christ. And that video clip is the outcome of this philosophy when it is taken to the extreme.

We cannot have religious experience absent of doctrinal truth. If we do, we end up with transgender people suggesting that God made them that way.

And the other thing this comment demonstrates is that in our culture, and to a certain degree in the modern

Church at large, we've exalted being nice over actually having someone's best interest at heart.

Here's an example. If you say that transgenderism is a nonsensical, unnatural, and wicked worldview whose adherents should repent and come to Christ, many professing

Christians will be upset at you. Why? Well, because your tone is far too mean. But if, on the other hand, you make excuses for trans people, and if you agree to use their false pronouns in the name of being nice and compassionate, you often get a free pass.

But look at where all our niceness has actually gotten us. Take a look around our culture. It's time to stand up and tell the truth, even when it's offensive.

But in the next clip, Jim Wallace, the defender of heresy that he is, decides to offer his two cents.

Watch this. And I'll give you the last word. I'll be stronger. This is anti -Christ. This is anti -Gospel, anti -Christ.

And so this is a false worship we're confronting here. We've got to confront it theologically, and not just politically.

So first he says that being anti -transgenderism is, quote, anti -Christ, and then he goes further, saying that it's, quote, anti -Gospel.

And this is particularly rich coming from Jim Wallace, considering he evidently has no idea what the

Gospel actually is. And I can prove it. In one interview, Wallace was asked if he would support the redistribution of wealth in society.

Here was his response, quote, Absolutely. Without any hesitation. That's what the Gospel is all about.

End quote. Obviously, this goes without saying, but the Gospel is not all about wealth redistribution.

The real Gospel is about the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sinners.

See 1 Corinthians 15, 1 -5. But then Jim Wallace goes on, saying that the trans movement doesn't just need to confront their opposition politically, but also theologically.

And again, this is the same Jim Wallace who is a proponent of same -sex marriage while being a professing

Christian. The idea that this man has solid enough theology to confront anything is laughably absurd, let alone to confront historic

Biblical Christianity. You see, historic Biblical Christianity is like a theological bazooka.

On the other hand, Jim Wallace's weak progressive Christianity is like a theological nerf gun.

So I truly hope Jim doesn't actually intend on confronting sound theology with his worldview, because it's really not a fair fight.

In conclusion, the fact that these two people are considered ambassadors of the Christian faith is asinine, it's insane.

But the fact that they were invited to do this on national television is nothing short of mind -boggling.

And what's more, it demonstrates that there are actually people who take this nonsense seriously. So Christians, if you think this whole culture war thing is being overblown, think again.

It's time to stand up against the spirit of the age. So what do we do? Well, we do what God's Word tells us.

Among other things, preach the Gospel, believe sound doctrine, love your enemies, enjoy the blessings that God has given you, bring up your children in the nurture and admonition of the

Lord, fellowship with your brothers and sisters, worship God diligently, and stand up for the truth of God's Word.
