And now they're lamenting their whiteness. They're lamenting systemic oppression in the

United States. They're issuing ultimatums that you must do the same. Trying to bring some guilt out of you and some lamentation of some kind.

And in many cases they're standing in solidarity with looters, with thieves, with those advocating violence, and a revolution.

And you don't know what to do about it. Just remember, they saw a video and they've been conditioned, if they're of my generation or those below me especially, they've been conditioned through an educational system and an entertainment system in this country to hate this country from the foundation of it all the way to the present.

They believe if you peel the onion back, what you'll find at the heart is white supremacy and oppression.

Oppression against women in the form of patriarchy. Oppression against minorities in the form of whiteness.

Oppression against sexual minorities, as they will call them, in the form of heterosexual privilege.

And the list goes on. This is the world that we live in now.

The people that you are interacting with have been guided, they've been conditioned into this.

And you're not going to be able to probably convince them out of it with a tweet or a Facebook message.

It's a good start, but you're probably gonna have to have some one -to -one, face -to -face interaction.

And I want to help you do that. I want to help you think through that. But we need to understand it first.

And so I'm gonna start here. This is the formation, guys, of a new religion. And I realize that probably your pastors haven't been talking about this, your churches aren't aware of this in the probably 95 % of cases.

The Christian magazines and publications that you follow have not really said much about this.

But that's exactly what's been happening. It's been happening for years and it's been happening right under their nose. Some of them have known about it and have chosen to remain silent.

Others, I think this is the majority of people, have no clue what's really going on. And they haven't taken the time to really think about it.

And so we're gonna think about it. So I put this out there now over a year ago, how social justice parallels the gospel and how social justice contradicts the gospel.

This is from I believe January or February of 2019 that I put this out on my blog. And I sat down and I really thought through this.

Now I come at this as someone who has degrees from both secular and Christian institutions.

I've been noticing this for the last 15 years. The difference between the two is that in Christian institutions there's a veneer of Christianity which makes it not quite as aggressive.

But it's the same exact poison that you're gonna get at a secular university. It just is. And it's a false gospel.

So here's the poison. The poison is that white male straight privilege is original sin.

Number one. You don't have to do anything evil. But if you are in one of these categories, you have a stain of racism, sexism, or homophobia that you need to get rid of.

So while you hear Al Mohler say things like this, there's a stain of racism that won't ever go away till heaven. It's because it's attached to one of these categories.

It's the denomination you're part of. It's the home that you run. It's the kind of medical care that you receive.

It's everything about your life. If you are white, male, or straight, you have a benefit.

You have privilege. And you need to absolve yourself of this sinful privilege. Political correctness is the new law.

The do's and the don'ts. What you can say, what you can't say. Being woke is like being born again. Coming to this awareness.

And now you see things differently. You realize you're part of systemic oppression. Liberal politics are the sacraments.

Woke leaders are the priests. There's a new canon of books you need to read now from sociologists.

That's the new scriptures. Equality is heaven on earth. That's, or equity is the word they're using now.

It's a materialist heaven here on earth. And I hear Christians say, well we can use the critical race theory critique as an analytical tool, but we don't accept critical race theory of course because it's materialist.

It starts with external behavior. The groups that are analyzed are certain classes of people instead of individuals.

So individuals are complicit insofar as they are members of a certain class of people.

That's not biblical. Sanctification precedes justification. You got to do something in order to have reconciliation, true reconciliation.

You usually quotas global curriculum, ripping down something historical, some kind of affirmative action, you know, reparations.

There's got to be something you do and then you can have reconciliation. See that's the cart before the horse.

So instead of Christ forgiving you and once for all you're forgiven, he has taken that burden of sin, that is the good news of the gospel.

You didn't have to do anything. This is what God did for you. Instead you have to get on the hamster wheel of perpetually gaining grace and repentance because you will never get there if you are part of an oppressed tradition category culture.

This is a different gospel guys. You need to realize this. When you see your friends tweeting what they're tweeting, posting what they're posting, and I'm gonna take you through the steps here.

This is what I see happening with your friends right now. This is what explains it, alright. Number one, they get woke.

They have a salvation experience. This is, remember, a new religion. So they come to an understanding of systemic oppression, whether that's through an article or a video or a book, and they realize how complicit they are in a system that results in their privilege.

So whether it be the medical treatment that they receive, whether it be the kinds of foods they eat, the loan that they got for their house, the kind of church they go to, where they live, everything about their life comes back to, fundamentally, a privilege of some kind that's benefiting them.

It's not the Lord who's blessing them. Remember, this is a different religion.

It's not the Lord who is, through providence, blessing them with the things that are good in their life.

It's actually something horrible. It's this whiteness that is benefiting them, this system that's benefiting them.

And it's those in power and authority who have chosen to grant them, to allocate to them, influence and financial resources and good educations, etc.,

while denying it from minorities, sexual minorities, in their minds, that's the word they use, and women, genders, etc.

And so what you have is, this is where the Marxism starts coming out. You have oppressed, and you have oppressors, and the system is rigged.

You can't point to a law in the system, right? You can't say, well, presently on the books there's a law that specifically discriminates and says that these people that have this white skin get a certain level of education and financial help for it, when these people of this color of skin don't get that because of their color of skin.

You don't see that anywhere on the books. If anything, you see affirmative action, which is actually the reverse of that. You see minorities have opportunities from the system.

But what they're assuming is there's this invisible hand, so to speak, kind of like, you know,

I'm playing off of Adam Smith's invisible hand in capitalism, but there's an invisible hand from the beginning of our country, preceding our country's history, going back to Europe, that its only intention is to help people that are straight white males and keep them in power.

And it's through families and how families have passed on their wealth to the next generation.

There's all sorts of ways that you're getting this privilege allocated to you. So your friends have read something that's convinced them of this fact.

It's not Lord blessing them. It's not his providence. It's evil. And then they've realized, number two, that they are complicit in this system because of that privilege.

So they've benefited from all these things and they've never taken a stand against it.

They've never lamented it. They've never tried to help those who are offended by it and hurting because of it.

So they pay their taxes and live a simple life and benefit from the protection of the police.

They haven't taken a stand against symbols of hate that, in the minds of the leftists, that are holding minorities of various kinds back.

It's going to be ripped down real quick. So they've benefited from all these things and they haven't taken a stand.

And so they're part of the problem. So they come to this realization, they're part of the problem, and they take on sins that the

I'm gonna explain this more in a minute, but that's what they're doing. That's what they're going through. So the next step is they repent of it.

They own their privilege. They take responsibility for their supposed sin. So they stop supporting whiteness.

That's the putting off of the old man, right? According to Scripture, that would be you're gonna put away the deeds of darkness.

Well, they stopped supporting whiteness. We're not gonna support, perhaps, the police anymore like we did.

Or we're not gonna support cultural icons, symbols, figures, like, you know, maybe a

Even, you know, some of the former presidents, like an Eisenhower, or believe me,

I've seen these kinds of things where they come right to the edge of, like, the 1980s and they start lamenting everything that happened before that.

And we can't have those images here. We can't hold any of these men up as heroes.

And then they participate in lamenting and raising awareness. That's the new ordinances, like communion or baptism.

These are the rituals, the civic rituals. We must all lament on social media, and if you don't do it, there's a pressure.

Believe me, there's a pressure. If you're silent and you just want to be neutral, you will not be allowed to be neutral any longer.

You must lament and you must raise awareness. You must go evangelize for this cause.

And you need to find forgiveness, then, from the oppressed people. Those are the new priests. Those who are oppressed have a special dispensation of grace upon them, and they're able to grant you grace if you will go to them and apologize for, not your sin, but the sin of your people in which you are complicit.

And these books, I'm not a stranger to this, what these books do is they will start usually at the foundation of what

It motivates everything. And they string examples along. They conveniently ignore things that don't fit their narrative.

And they string together along every example they can think of. Sometimes they embellish. Sometimes they,

I've even seen where they start making things up. That sometimes happens. And then other times they pick completely legitimate examples of a type of racism or white supremacy.

But it's all in this one bag. And it's fundamental. It motivates everything about the

United States of America and the Western world, etc. And so they're gonna read these things.

And remember, you have a generation of people that don't know history now. Two generations really.

They have not been taught history. And this is going to fill that void.

The vacuum is filled by reading one of those books. And once that happens, it's over for most of these guys.

And every authority in their life, usually their pastor, their Christian leaders that they look to, and beyond that, those voices in academia, those voices in politics, they're saying the same thing.

They're all in unison. And they're saying this is the perspective. You need these oppressed perspectives.

You're not capable of understanding these issues of even the looting going on right now unless you have an oppressed perspective.

So it's postmodern as well. And then they start making ultimatums.

And that is the new catechism. And I'm gonna go into this a little more later, but unless you denounce certain things or support certain things, you are not part of the in -group.

And of course, if you aren't respectable in society, then this is where church discipline comes in.

You are kicked out. Not because you sinned in violation of the Word of God or you did something actually morally wrong, but because you failed to meet their demands.

Okay, you have a great day. A woman who was descendant of some Europeans of some kind, walking down the street, and a man comes up to her and tells her that she needs to kneel down, and she needs to essentially lament her whiteness and apologize for Donald Trump.

And you can tell she's frightened, but she's also willing to do it. And this is, this is where we're going.

Now, how much of what you're seeing with your friends is motivated by fear? I don't know. But for some, it is fear.

They can tell that the current seems to be moving in this direction, and they want to be on the right side of it. How about this example?

Here you have a church, it looks like, approaching a protest of some kind.

They kneel down in the direction of the protesters. Looks like, possibly, like a Black Lives Matter protest.

They're kneeling down towards the protesters, and they're praying, but their prayer is not just directed at God.

Their prayer is directed to those right in front of them. This is why I told you earlier that there are, there's a new class of priests, those who carry the oppressed perspective.

And they are apologizing for what he terms systematic. Systemic is probably what he meant.

So, again, it's a church that's mainly comprised of people descended from Europeans, kneeling down to an audience that is comprised of those who are descended from people from Africa and from Europe, clearly.

Some of them are mixed in that way. And they are apologizing to them because of the color of their skin.

What that share is, I do not find it easy to determine. Most of these young men were children, and none of them had a vote or the experience which would enable them to use a vote wisely when

England made many of those decisions to which the present disorders could plausibly be traced. Are they, perhaps, repenting what they have in no sense done?

If they are, it might be supposed that their error is very harmless. Men fail so often to repent their real sins that the occasional repentance of an imaginary sin might appear almost desirable.

But what actually happens, I have watched it happening, to the youthful national penitent, is a little more complicated than that.

England is not a natural agent, but a civil society. When we speak of England's actions, we mean the actions of the

British government. The young man who is called upon to repent of England's foreign policy is really being called upon to repent the acts of his neighbour.

For a foreign secretary or a cabinet minister is certainly a neighbour. And repentance presupposes condemnation.

The first and fatal charm of national repentance is, therefore, the encouragement it gives us to turn from the bitter task of repenting our own sins to the congenial one of bewailing, but first of denouncing, the conduct of others.

If it were clear to the young penitent that this is what he is doing, no doubt he would remember the law of charity.

Unfortunately, the very terms in which national repentance is recommended to him conceal its true nature.

By a dangerous figure of speech, he calls the government not they, but we.

And since, as penitents, we are not encouraged to be charitable to our own sins, nor to give ourselves the benefit of any doubt, a government which is called we is, ipso facto, placed beyond the sphere of charity or even of justice.

You can say anything you please about it. You can indulge in the popular vice of detraction without restraint, and yet feel all the time that you are practising contrition.

A group of such young penitents will say, let us repent our national sins. What they mean is, let us attribute to our neighbour, even our

Christian neighbour in the cabinet, whenever we disagree with him, every abominable motive that Satan can suggest to our fancy.

Such an escape from personal repentance into that tempting region where passions have the privilege to work and never hear the sound of their own names would be welcome to the moral cowardice of anyone.

But it is doubly attractive to the young intellectual. When a man over forty tries to repent the sins of England and to love her enemies, he is attempting something costly, for he was brought up to certain patriotic sentiments which cannot be mortified without a struggle.

But an educated man who is now in his twenties usually has no such sentiment to mortify.

In art, in literature, in politics, he has been, ever since he can remember, one of an angry and restless minority.

He has drunk in, almost with his mother's milk, a distrust of English statesmen and a contempt for the manners, pleasures and enthusiasms of his less educated fellow countrymen.

And they're saying that these decisions in which they really had no part are the fault of their parents and their grandparents and they kind of, in a fake way, take personal responsibility to this by using the pronoun we, by saying we apologize when in reality they're actually apologizing for what they consider to be the sins of others, of their parents, of their grandparents, of businessmen, of politicians.

But that's what was happening. Do you see the parallel? It's exactly what's happening today. These apologies are weaponized apologies.

They're actually very similar to what you see in Luke 18 11 when the Pharisee stood by himself and he prayed and he said,
