Russell here to Arizona with me to tell you all about it. Yeah, it's Senate Bill 13. This is a righteous piece of legislation that's seeking to criminalize abortion, without exception, in the state of Oklahoma.

Okay, and so how can we be involved in supporting what's happening in Oklahoma to establish justice for the preborn?

Right. We just need unity. We need radical unity. We need all believers who can make it to the state of Oklahoma to show their support for this bill to show up February 11th at 10 a .m.

What's going to be happening that day? So we're calling it Abolition Day. We've got a number of bills regulating abortion in Oklahoma, but we have one bill seeking to abolish abortion, to end abortion in the state.

And if we can show up on that day for that rally, it's going to tell the legislature that the people of Oklahoma and people from around the nation are ready for this type of bill.

Russell, what's the difference between what you are trying to have happen in Oklahoma and what the pro -life industry lobby popularly tries to put into position?

So the purpose of Senate Bill 13 and the way that it differs from most pro -life bills, the standard regulatory measures that are being put forward in all the states, is that Senate Bill 13 looks at the

Roe v. Wade ruling and says, no, this is an unjust, unconstitutional opinion, and that the states do not have to submit to it, that states can criminalize abortion within their borders, that the state has a right over murder laws, and they can extend protection to all human beings equally, which is what

Senate Bill 13 does. So Senate Bill 13 is about criminalization of abortion, ending it, that's it?

Yeah, it says any law on the books in the state of Oklahoma that allows for the destruction of pre -born human beings has to be repealed, and the exception in our murder code that says that you're allowed to murder a pre -born human in the womb if by legal abortion is removed, and so justice equal protection is established for pre -born.

Right, we have a conference, the 7th, 8th, and 9th, we'll be trying to get the sort of top line speakers, teachers, there's training seminars, just preparing people to lobby for the bill, to be able to answer the questions.

There will be other groups, there will be pro -life groups, conservative establishment groups that will actually be opposing this bill, and saying all manner of things about it, and so we want to train people to understand what they're saying, how to answer those things, and then that way on the 9th, or on the 10th, 11th, and 12th, people, when they go and talk to legislators, they really know what they're dealing with, and how to answer questions, and so on and so forth.

So Abolition Now is the conference, and it's the 7th through the 12th, and Abolition Day, which, you know, this is free, this is open, anyone and everyone needs to be there, but Abolition Day is on the 11th,

Tuesday the 11th at 10 a .m. at the Capitol. So fundamentally underneath all of this, what's really holding all of it up is a biblical worldview, a biblical view of God, a biblical view of sin, a biblical view of justice, and what's happening with abortion.

This is a gospel -centered movement, first and foremost, and it's about establishing justice now.

Yeah, the laws of man, the laws that we write, and that we get behind need to come into alignment with the law of God, the actual law of reality, and so Synod Bill 13 does that.
