I did something that I had a very strong desire to do and that is I brought one of the mothers up with Her baby that was saved from death from Glendale Planned Parenthood.

His name is Carmelo He's alive today because Christians went to the abortion mill to reach the women there to love them to offer help and to give them the gospel and to tell the truth as a result we put that message up like we often do and We because of God's grace we get lots of opportunities to share content all around the world

We often get thousands of views a lot of people see it from Australia to New Zealand Canada South America all over Africa China, Japan England Ireland you name it, but this one in particular we didn't expect to happen what actually did happen we put it up and it went viral and As of today, there's about 2 million views and it has for three years now been the number one suggested sermon on YouTube We didn't expect that and the reason

I bring it up is for me. This is sort of a historic Place this stage God has done big things from this stage that I did not anticipate at all as a result of that message

God used that message to not only transform their lives of a lot of people that were sitting in the seats that you are right now, but he also used the message to raise up ministries from Christian churches to abortion mills across the country and as a result of that Thousands of babies have been saved.

So the reason I Highlight that moment For us right now as I want to ask you and I by the way before I was a pastor and Speaking all around the world and things like that.

Word of God comes with huge consequences and Responsibility and so you have the opportunity now to get up and leave because what

I'm going to share with you is something to transform My life and I do hope transforms yours. These are the words of God in Proverbs 24 verse 10

Rescue those who are being taken away to death hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter if You say and here it is behold

God in this moment. You would get me out of the way God I pray with all my heart

Amen So listen my story is not very important as one say off off the bat like My story should not be the reason that you come to Jesus my story is not the thing my personal biography is not the thing

He's the thing He's the treasure, okay But I want to just share with you and I I'm always hesitant to do this in messages because it's not about me

It's about him, but I do want to share with you just a bit of my own personal story I share with you a text from Proverbs 24 where God says to rescue those who are being led to the slaughter and I want to just say first and foremost.

I'm a hypocrite I'm a hypocrite So many ways and and when

I first got into this I was not consistent I was the kind of person not raised in a Christian home heard the gospel later in life.

I Of course coming to Christ and reading the Bible I read the text like Psalm 139 that were fearfully and wonderfully made that God knits us together in our mother's womb

I knew those texts and of course I was the typical Christian I'm the guy that says in church and with friends and family and at coffee shops between our walls and between our ears

Yes, that's a life That's the image of God in the womb and yeah, you can't kill it and I used to do it

Most most Christians do today. How do you end abortion in our nation? How do you stop it? Well, you be

Christian you talk about it in your churches and I did I preach a sermon every year on abortion How do you do it?

Well, you got a vote quote Republican. Yeah, that's working out. Well for us, isn't it? So that's what

I did. I wasn't consistent. I knew that these death camps were not far from us I knew that they were killing babies not far from where I lived, but I didn't do anything.

I was a hypocrite and so we decided after watching a film called babies are murdered here and after being convinced listening to Christians who go to the

Abortion mills to preach the gospel and to rescue these women and fathers and children We were convinced that we had the gospel and we love these people we want to go and so we went the very first day

That we went Two girls left with us 14 and 16 years old turned away and did not kill their children that day first day

We continued on just simply talking about it. I have a radio program. That's international So most a million downloads just last year

We have a YouTube channel that's seen all over the world millions and millions of views and we would just talk about what we were doing

And as a result of just talking about it on our shows and sharing stories like hey this

Saturday We saved a baby this Saturday we saved a baby we would talk about it Christians listened

They started listening and they started at their churches starting their own ministries to abortion mills and they would message us and say hey we saved

Two babies this weekend two lives are saved this weekend We'd see pictures being shared on social media from ministries that started from listening to us and you're seeing a woman and her baby in a hospital

You're having women say listen to these Christians listen to them, please listen to them if if not for them

I wouldn't have my baby today and So God began to do more and more with us and then he allowed us this last year to start something called end abortion now

Calm where Christians can go across the country and they can link up with us They can get free training and free resources to go with their churches and to go rescue rescue these pre -born children

God has done huge things for his glory not because of us. I'm not special.

I'm not unique I'm not super strong and courageous. It is completely a work of God and As we think today together as we think about the murder of children in the womb and rescuing children and loving men and women

Who are considering this as we think about I want to warn you right now that we have two things working against us right now

Two things please listen closely because these are massive two things two cultures of death

We have to approach before we even begin this conversation first and foremost. How many of you guys go to public school?

Very good. Thank you guys. So first culture of death you have secular humanism the popular atheism of today

It's what you're indoctrinated in it's it's it's all over the media. It's all of our educational institutions

And what do they say their culture of death is this you are not unique You are just the random result of evolutionary processes that did not have you in mind

You are an accident of the cosmos your ancestors were fish We came from fish to philosophers you're all the result of unguided unpurposed unpurposed processes and you

Started as highly evolved societies of bacteria So there is nothing special about you or me nothing.

He says there is no eminent morality What does that mean? Don't let it throw you don't let the term throw you all it means is this there's no such thing as morality

It's an illusion He says you live you die and you're gone you're absolutely gone when you die, that's what we're taught

That's what you've come from. That's your destiny. There's no justice ahead of any of us. There's only sky above us

And so we have a culture today that teaches you this God doesn't matter Jesus isn't Lord that Bible isn't true

And so the bridge and I are married today married marriage has no meaning whatsoever Now love is not special and unique and beautiful and amazing like God says that it is.

It's whatever you want same love I can't change

Even if I tried even if I what sinners You know the song just kidding guys.

I know it too. It's a great song right Macklemore And that's the anthem of our culture, right? It's the same love

I can't change even if I tried even if I wanted to I was born this way who sang that Come on.

I'll say who's saying that Sinners You get the point though.

Our culture robs you of any beauty and it says the same love I was born this way I can't change even though I tried even if I wanted to tell that to the child molester

Imagine the child molester saying that before a judge saying your honor. I can't change

Even if I tried even if I wanted to I was born this way Do you see and we destroy marriage we say it doesn't matter anymore.

What else do we do destroy gender? You're saying you're not so unique as a woman. You don't have any special gifts. You're not beautiful and unique as a woman

You're the same as a guy Men, you're not special and beautiful and unique like God says that you are you don't have unique giftings at all

You're the same substance the same thing. It doesn't matter what we say to families

Look if you have children Don't have too many because children are a curse in our culture

And if you do have children that you don't want that's fine kill them That's what we say in our culture.

That's the world we live in. That's the culture of death Second culture of death is this one the evangelical culture of death?

I'm talking about the Christian culture of death. I'm talking about 21st century

Western evangelicalism There's a kind of gospel that says this come to Jesus It doesn't require much

Come to Jesus. It's not going to cost you anything Come to Jesus and what what it works.

It works like this. Do you want to go to heaven one day? Do you want to go to a place of fiery torment?

Well, no, I don't want that. Do you want to go to heaven one day? Yeah, I'd love that. Great. Let's get your ticket punched

Repeat these words after me and we pray the magic prayer as if that was gospel and yet Jesus preaches the gospel

Differently he talks about the good news of his kingdom and he calls people not simply to come to him for heaven one day

He calls people to come to him for salvation now Forgiveness and peace with God right now and here's my here's my fear.

This is my fear You're in a situation that is terrifying Spiritually terrifying it truly is it's a blessing and a curse you are right now

I'm talking about those of you guys right now raised in Christian homes with mom and dad talking about Jesus with Bibles on your shelf going to youth group every weekend.

You're in danger. I Didn't have what you had. I wasn't raised in a home where there the gospel was preached

Explicitly where I knew who Jesus was and what he had done. I didn't have that special gift You do so that's a blessing but the danger of it is this is that you could be in this room right now and you

Could be a part of the culture of Christianity going to youth group and having your parents talk about Jesus And you could assume that you're truly a

Christian Because one time a long time ago you said a magic prayer

And you'd be sitting in here so close to Jesus and yet so far away not knowing him

Because you never actually examined your heart to see do I really know Jesus Have I truly turned from my sin to trust in him to be forgiven to be reconciled with God today

Jesus preached the gospel like this come die Come and die or don't come

Count the cost or Don't come You must hate mother father sister brother wife even your own life in comparison to me or don't come

Don't come to me He says that when you turn from sin to trust in him you reconcile to God and you're forgiven you're brought to peace with God But coming to him means you're coming to die and rise again

And the danger is this and it's my fear for children raised in youth groups and going to church My fear is this is that you will go

To church thinking that you're a Christian, you know, Jesus you're forgiven you have peace with God because mom and dad are

Because you like youth group because you love the Christian experience because you're comfortable with the Christian culture and that's devastating

The evangelical culture of the West today is in many respects a culture of death.

It's the kind of gospel That's no real gospel at all. It's not good news It's the kind of gospel where you come to Jesus you punch your ticket and you say see ya when

I get there the gospel Jesus preached was so different as we have to come against those things and say we need to turn from them and I Need to first confess before I talk today my own hypocrisy

Jesus is amazing to me. He's beautiful in so many ways. Not just the fact that he demonstrates who he is in His life and ministry not just the fact that the

Old Testament Tells you every detail about Jesus long before he comes down to who he is when he's coming why he's coming where he's coming from Every detail necessary to know

Jesus in the Old Testament. That's not the only thing that's compelling to me about Jesus You know, it's compelling as he proves that he's truly

God, you know, why? because he hates fake religion Jesus Despises hypocrisy.

You see man -made religion doesn't mind Man -made doesn't religion doesn't mind at all

If you're a fake as long as you look good on the outside as long as you look Christian as long as you look like you're an external conformity to all the things you're supposed to be doing as long as you look

On the outside like you're fine man -made religion doesn't care Jesus demonstrates that he truly is

God because he goes right for the hearts every time He condemns people for praying so that people see them pray

He condemns people for fasting so people see them fast He says you want to talk to God do it in your closet where no one can see you

You want to fast want to truly be hungry for God don't do it. So people know that you're fasting be hungry for God Silently you want to give to give glory to God do it

So nobody even knows that you gave now what benefit do you get from that man -made fake religion?

Nothing and Jesus comes against hypocrisy all the time. We have to deal with that and my own hypocrisy first.

I Believe that had a false conversion. I Wasn't raised in a Christian home under the hearing of the gospel

And when I first heard the gospel, I heard it I'm built from Billy Graham on television late one night.

I Was a world champion martial artist a national champion. I was doing everything I ever wanted to do in the martial arts

I ended up actually becoming a Ninja Turtle for the Franchise, I played

Michelangelo and Donatello. I was Johnny Cage in Mortal Kombat the live tour I was an

MTV's the final foo I had all these things about me like I was I was getting what I wanted out of life

I was accomplishing what I really wanted But you see I have this this

Conversion where I heard the message like this. I'm a sinner. God is holy. Do you want to go to heaven one day?

Sure Right, like you ask a little child now, Johnny Do you want to go to heaven one day with Jesus and eternal bliss or would you like to burn in hell forever?

What do you think the answer is? Yes, the five -year -old that question they go

I'll take the bliss please Right. Okay. I want you to pray this prayer with me, right?

And so that's how I heard it and I had this conversion. I thought was a conversion. I Had like two lives.

I had like Christian Jeff and then I had Jeff who was sleeping with all my girlfriends. I Had Christian Jeff going to Bible college while I'm living with my girlfriend

I had Christian Jeff who would profess faith in Jesus and would go out and get drunk and do whatever

I wanted Whenever I pleased and then I ended up getting involved in drug addiction

Ecstasy Weed cocaine pills you name it. I was doing it for about a year of depravity

I had plunged into depravity and all the while I was doing that I was professing faith in Jesus like I actually knew him

Hypocrisy it was a shell. It was a facade. And so what happened was at the end of the year I almost died.

I took like five tabs of ecstasy drank a bottle of Alcohol almost overheated and OD'd and God brought me out of it as I begged for my life

And then I began to re -examine the Gospels in a way that I pray that you do right now I saw the message of Jesus different from how

I heard it. I didn't see Jesus telling a story like I understood it He was calling people to come to him in Luke 14 and saying what

I just told you if anyone does not hate Father mother sister brother wife even your own life.

You're not worthy to be my disciple He talked people out of coming to him.

He said don't fake don't pretend don't

I Saw Jesus saying that we will come to him They are given eternal life and they're raised to newness of life and he lives within them and God changes them

And I looked at my life and I said that's not me. I have the external shell of morality, but that's not me

I'm a hypocrite and I went into my closet and I pled for my life before God. I said God I got nothing to offer you

I know that Jesus you are God and you died on the cross and you lived perfectly and you rose from the dead and I Got nothing to offer you

Please save me forgive me take over my life be my boss Rule my life my life began to change then but I was a hypocrite before that.

It was a fake I was a phony. I had a profession of faith, but I didn't know God The Gospel is not what

I understood it to be The Bible says in Romans chapter 3 all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. That's me

It says there is none righteous not even one none none who does good

The Bible says that by the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight

That the law of God cannot perfect me before God. I can't be accepted by God through my obedience because I'm already a wretch

The Bible says that all of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags before God, you know what that is, it's not dirty laundry

The text in Isaiah that says our righteousnesses are as filthy rags is referring to the garments women would use for their monthly period

All of our righteousnesses are as filthy rags before the sight of God And the only way to be reconciled to God is through faith in Jesus through what he accomplished

And so Jesus tells people Turn from your sin to the

Living God Repent and believe the good news Through faith, but coming, you know, you're coming to die and to lose yourself

Let me just say this right now if you can't say that I've come to die and Rise again with Jesus Then you don't know him if you haven't turned from sin to trust in Jesus not only one sin

It's not your sexuality. That's just broken. It's everything. It's how I love God and don't love neighbor and all those things

So the Bible says you have to come and die Next I was a hypocrite because I said that I was quote pro -life

But I was the kind of pro -life like the man you saw up there who? Completely codifies the pro -life movement of today.

It won't call abortion what it actually is according to Scripture murder It won't minister to women in such a way where they can know they have hope in Jesus By pointing to Christ the whole time.

It's like for example in this room right now I want you to understand if you've had an abortion in this room right now.

This message isn't meant to condemn you It's to point you to Jesus to know that if you're in Christ trusting in him

You've been washed of all your sins and God will never count your sins against you ever

But it's only through the work of Jesus nothing you could ever accomplish. It's not whitewashing it.

It's not hiding It's not making yourself better It's turning to Jesus and the pro -life movement won't make it about God won't make it about Scripture won't make it about Jesus We don't call it murder because we don't want to quote offend anybody

But here's the thing if we don't call it what it is There's nothing to repent of if it's just a lapse of judgment or if it's no big deal

There's no need for Jesus in it. I was a hypocrite.

I said that I was pro -life I said that I loved my neighbor But I didn't do anything in This area and I knew it was happening near me.

I knew it was happening. I knew where it was at I passed by it and I did nothing. I never stepped in there.

I never tried to rescue I was a liar. I said that I believed that was the image of God I said that I believed that it was murder, but I didn't do anything to stop it

I said that I love these women and men, but I didn't do anything to help them. I was a hypocrite

I Was pro -life between my ears Jesus says the two greatest

Commandments ready love God Heart soul mind and strength love your neighbor as you love yourself.

And how did I love my pre -born neighbor? I didn't I Didn't I could say

I talk about pro -life stuff I talk against abortion I would love to help but I didn't do anything about it as a minister of the gospel

You know, what's amazing is that when we began going out to the abortion mills, you know people told us don't do that And maybe some of you guys right now in here are thinking that right now

Please listen People used to say don't do that ministry You can't go to women at an abortion mill who are in this tough time of their life

And you can't tell them not to murder their child. That's not loving as a Christian, bro It's not the way to reach those women.

You can't do that. That's just an awful thing. You look kind of like a freak Standing outside of an abortion mill.

You look like a nutcase Right, you're gonna make Christians look bad Did we say don't go and I had to war against my own hypocrisy and even professing

Christians Can I tell you this right now and I don't mean to make myself look at odds with Christians because I'm not

But can I just share something with you and it it's heartbreaking over the last couple of years of this ministry

We know of about a hundred babies saved from our church alone and hundreds or thousands saved nationwide as a result of our ministry

Do you know the greatest? Listen, do you know the greatest opposition we have experienced in all these years of ministry has not come from unbelievers but from Professing Christians Who said you shouldn't engage in ministry like that and I would say but Proverbs says to rescue those

Who are being led to the slaughter? What do you mean? I'm not supposed to do it It tells me explicitly to rescue those who are being led to the slaughter and then say yeah, but not like that I say well how because you see we've saved a hundred babies from death.

How many have you saved using your methodology and they would say None and You look at the witness in a

New Testament And I say if the Bible's any guide as to how we should be living as Christians I look at the book of Acts and I see

Christians that are sold out for Jesus and they've Demonstrated that they are already died.

They've counted their life as loss Compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing

Jesus Christ is Lord. They've given it all up I see the witness of the Evangelical Church in the

West as this ready. You must obey the 11th commandment You must obey the 11th commandment and that is thou shalt be a

Sweetheart, it's the gospel of nice That's the gospel be nice to people

That's how you win them to Jesus by being nice and then I go to my Bible and I see in Acts the

Christians turn the world upside down for Jesus started with a few confused disciples and by the end of that first generation the gospel had penetrated across the entire

Roman Empire so that Paul can say in Romans 1 That to the church in Rome your faith is being proclaimed throughout the entire world

That the gospel was preached to every creature under heaven by the end of the first century

That's what the way they spoke about it It went everywhere and I see in Acts 9 the Apostle Paul is trying to destroy

Christians He's on his way to destroy the church and you know what? It says he comes to Jesus his eyes are opened and as soon as he becomes a

Christian, you know what he does He takes a beeline to Damascus. He goes to the synagogue. You know what he does

He argues with the Jews they're preaching the gospel and you think watch Paul.

That's mean That's rough -edged Paul. You can't change people like that. You know, you should do

Paul You should make friends with them and maybe after 10 years of a relationship you'll earn the right to tell them about Jesus Paul goes to the synagogue.

He argues and here's the result. Listen closely. This is the result one It says the church was multiplied two.

It says they experienced peace Three they were built up and for ready some people wanted to kill him

How would you do it today, what do you think guys in our churches today if somebody was preaching the gospel like that So that people actually wanted you dead for preaching the gospel

We would say in our seminaries today. You're doing something wrong, right? You need to work on your social media game, bro, right?

Here's how you got to do it in a different way. Don't offend. Don't make anybody mad and don't cause conflict

You see the Apostle Paul preaching the gospel to the effect that watch he says this I'm in danger

Every day we're in rags this very hour. He says I'm in danger of for my own countrymen.

I'm in danger Constantly my own false brethren and he says this it's a light and momentary affliction

I see in Acts 17 the Apostle Paul preaches the gospel and he says at the
