- 00:00
- Hello everybody, my name is Dusty. I'm a grateful believer in Jesus Christ.
- 00:05
- I came here to share the good news with you. Can anybody here tell me what the good news of Jesus is?
- 00:12
- Anyone? Does anybody know what the good news of Jesus is? The good news is that Jesus, God, came down in the form of man.
- 00:23
- And Jesus Christ, fully God, fully man, died on a cross and paid the penalty in which sinners deserve.
- 00:33
- That is the good news. The good news isn't that God can help you to get a new car or a new house.
- 00:43
- The good news is that for sinners, rebels against God like you and I, Jesus paid the penalty that we deserve.
- 00:56
- The Bible says that none of us is good. It is clear, Romans 3 says, none is righteous, no not one.
- 01:05
- All have turned aside, together they have become worthless. No one does good, not even one.
- 01:11
- The Bible is clear that no one is good, not you or I. The good news, however, is that Jesus died for those who aren't good.
- 01:25
- Those who aren't good, that is the good news. If none of us are good, the good news is that Christ died for us, for sinners like you and me.
- 01:35
- But what is the gospel? How can we be saved? How can we be saved?
- 01:41
- Does anybody know? It is through faith in Christ alone that we can be saved.
- 01:47
- The Bible says, repent and believe the gospel, the good news of Jesus Christ.
- 01:54
- That is the gospel. That Jesus loves us just where we're at.
- 02:02
- However, He doesn't leave us right there. It says that God grants us repentance, that He opens our eyes and shows us our sin, our nature.
- 02:14
- See, we are all by nature children of Adam, and therefore Adam the first man who sinned.
- 02:21
- He sinned not because he ate the apple on the tree, but because he disobeyed a direct command of God.
- 02:28
- He did not believe God. Instead, he believed himself. He believed the lies of the enemy, and he disobeyed
- 02:37
- God. And therefore, sin entered the world. And since we are all children of Adam, we are all by nature children born into sin.
- 02:48
- But the good news is that Christ died for sinners. He died for those
- 02:56
- He calls to Himself. The good news is that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the
- 03:04
- Word of God. And that's why we are here preaching the Word of God, that He would draw you to Him. That His Spirit would draw you to Him.
- 03:13
- See, in the Bible saying no one is good, that means that we cannot save ourselves.
- 03:20
- It says that God is good, however, none of us are good.
- 03:26
- So what does that mean? That means that we all stand as enemies to God when we are apart from faith.
- 03:35
- We are all under the wrath of God, apart from faith. But those who have faith are still under His wrath.
- 03:43
- However, Jesus, His penalty has imputed, what He did on the cross has imputed our penalty.
- 03:51
- So I'm here sharing this Word with you, that you would listen to me. That you wouldn't listen to my opinion, but only what is consistent with God's Word.
- 04:02
- Thank you. Because my opinion truly doesn't matter. My truth does not matter, because the truth is,
- 04:11
- I cannot save you. You cannot save yourselves. The Bible is clear, that when we trade the truth of God in for a lie, that God hands us over to our sinful desires.
- 04:31
- See, it's clear, God has revealed Himself in creation. His divine nature and in His invisible attributes.
- 04:41
- It is clear in Romans 1. But in our futile thinking, in our unrighteousness and sinfulness, we suppress the truth of God and trade it in for a lie.
- 04:53
- We worship the creature rather than the creator. We worship ourselves rather than God, the one who gave us life.
- 05:02
- The problem with this is that in doing so, in rejecting God, we start believing a truth that has consequences.
- 05:15
- We end up doing things like degrading our bodies with sinful passions. We become haters of God, insolent liars.
- 05:25
- We trade God's truth in for a lie, and He hands us over to have exactly what we want, our sin, and nothing to do with Him.
- 05:35
- Not only do we go on sinning, but we approve others who do the same.
- 05:42
- We approve the sins of others because we don't want God's rule. We don't want to be under His judgment.
- 05:50
- However, we all are. All of us are under the judgment of God. We will all die one day and face
- 05:57
- God in judgment. Who can escape it? So I am here preaching the most important news that you could hear, that the
- 06:05
- Gospel is the hope of salvation. The Gospel is our only hope for salvation.
- 06:13
- That's what we are here preaching to you. We are believing God's Word that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the
- 06:21
- Word of God, and that's why we are here preaching God's Word. That is the only hope that we can stand upon.
- 06:28
- Think about it. Everything else is mere opinion. Every other truth apart from what
- 06:35
- God says is truth is mere opinion. The Bible says, Thy Word is truth.
- 06:42
- We have no foundation for morality or for what is right and wrong apart from God's Word and His standard.
- 06:50
- Think about it. It is mere opinion. It is your opinion against my opinion.
- 06:57
- However, when we stand on the foundation of God's Word, we are standing on the truth.
- 07:04
- And the truth will set us free. Jesus said that I am the way, the truth, and the life, that no man comes to the
- 07:12
- Father but through me. That should concern us, right? If we are apart from faith in Christ, that should concern us.
- 07:22
- Because Jesus said that He is the only way to God, that only through a knowing faith in Him can we be saved.
- 07:34
- Does that concern you? Does that concern you that if you are apart from faith in Christ right now, you stand in opposition and rebellion against God, and that if you died in this moment, you would face
- 07:48
- Him in judgment and be guilty before Him? Does that concern you? Because it concerns me for you.
- 07:56
- Because it says that God will judge the world. That He will judge the world. Does that concern you?
- 08:06
- When Jesus came, He said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father but through me.
- 08:13
- I believe that truth. Apart from that truth, we can't stand on any foundation.
- 08:19
- What is truth? Tell me. What is your truth? The Bible says thy word is truth.
- 08:27
- God says that. I would ask you to speak to one of my brothers out here and tell them about your truth, how you can make moral claims without God, without His standards.
- 08:41
- How can you? So my hope is that if you would not just hear this message and harden your heart to it, but God would prepare your hearts to bear this message and that it would fall on fertile soil.
- 08:53
- Yes, bro. You talked at my school. We met at that airport, bro. You remember? I do, man.
- 08:58
- Why do we keep running into each other? Dude. Good to see you, man. God bless you. God bless you, too. Guys, I would invite you to come speak and hear the most important message that you can hear, that we are all sinners and there is only one way to be saved, and that is through a knowing faith in Jesus Christ.
- 09:21
- And that is the best news you can hear. That is the good news, the truth of Scripture, wrapped up, that Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life.
- 09:34
- It says repent and believe the Gospel. Repent means to have a change of mind.
- 09:40
- Also, repentance is granted to us by God. God opens our eyes so that we can see our sin for what it is.
- 09:48
- I remember my moments when God opened my eyes and I saw my sin and wickedness exactly for what it was.
- 09:54
- I could never see it before because I was a slave to my sin. Sin holds us in bondage.
- 10:02
- However, a knowing faith in Christ sets us free from the power of sin because God puts a new nature in us.
- 10:12
- He takes our heart of stone and replaces it with a heart of flesh and blood in that He gives us a new nature.
- 10:19
- And in doing so, He also imputes our sentence. He changes us from the inside out.
- 10:30
- And I want to please call you to come and talk to us, to not just pass by as we preach and think, oh, there's those loud
- 10:41
- Christians again. This is the most important message you can hear and my hope is that you would talk to my brothers and sisters out here in front of me and let them reason with you, let them share the truth with you as this is the most important message you can hear because I can tell you none of us knows when we're going to die.
- 11:02
- None of us. And the Bible is clear that those who are apart from faith, repentance and faith in Jesus Christ will face
- 11:12
- God in judgment where He will rightly judge us because we are guilty. We are guilty sinners.
- 11:18
- We have broken His law. He clearly gave us His law in the Ten Commandments and we have broken those laws by nature.
- 11:26
- But the good news is that Jesus Christ paid the penalty in which we deserve when
- 11:32
- He died on the cross. See, it's as if we're standing before a judge guilty and we say,
- 11:40
- Judge, I know I broke your law. I know that. Do you like women and men or do you just like women?
- 11:46
- Just men. Just men? No, I like women. So, what
- 11:52
- I'm here to share with you, one woman right there, what
- 11:58
- I'm here to share with you is this. Please come talk to us. Don't harden your heart to this gospel message.
- 12:07
- Let us at least have a conversation with you and reason with you that this is the most important message that you can hear.
- 12:14
- I am a sinner. I am guilty before God. There is no question about that. We all are. If you think you haven't broken
- 12:21
- God's law, please come talk to us because His law is clear. It says,
- 12:27
- Thou shalt not lie. Thou shalt not steal. Thou shalt not covet.
- 12:33
- Have you broken any of these laws? Because if you've broken one, you're guilty of breaking the law. You're guilty of all of them.
- 12:41
- And when you stand before God in judgment, you will stand before Him guilty. However, what
- 12:47
- Jesus did on the cross is He paid the fine in which we deserve. You may say,
- 12:52
- Well, I will just ask for forgiveness when I face God in judgment and He's a loving God, so He'll forgive me.
- 12:59
- But what judge does that? What judge do we stand before and we say, You know what, judge?
- 13:04
- I'm really sorry. I'm going to let you go free. He is not a righteous judge if He lets you go free.
- 13:11
- He must, as a righteous judge, give you judgment. But what
- 13:18
- Jesus did on the cross is He paid the fine in which we deserve. He paid the penalty with His life, with His blood.
- 13:27
- He was not just murdered, but He was tortured. And it says in the Bible that God was happy to do it for us, that He was scourged for our iniquities.
- 13:39
- Please, this is the most important message you can hear. Come speak to us. Let us share the gospel with you.
- 13:46
- Let us reason with you and give you the truth that we are all sinners standing in opposition to God right now in this moment if we don't have a knowing faith in Christ and we need a
- 13:56
- Savior. We all stand before a judge guilty and He can't just let us go free.
- 14:04
- He must give us justice. The Bible says that love hates what is evil and clings to what is good.
- 14:12
- Love does no wrong to a neighbor. It doesn't hate or steal from, murder or lie to a neighbor.
- 14:19
- See, love doesn't just love everything. Then it's not truly love.
- 14:24
- Love has guidelines and God has given us those guidelines in His law. The most important commandment is to love
- 14:31
- God with all your heart, mind, body and soul and to love your neighbor as you love yourself. If you do not love your neighbor, if you have lied or stolen from or fought with lust against your neighbor, you are guilty of breaking the law.
- 14:47
- God's law. And that is the most important thing we need to think about. Because if we are guilty before God and we've broken
- 14:54
- His law, what is the penalty? The Bible is clear that God will judge the sins of the world and He will cast sinners into the lake of fire, those who have not come into a knowing faith of Jesus.
- 15:08
- And He will rightly do so because He's a rightful judge. But for those who would repent and place their faith in Christ, He's paid the penalty for us and can rightly let us go free.
- 15:23
- He would give us a new nature. He will change our heart where we will spend an eternity with God.
- 15:29
- Please guys, listen. Come talk to us. Have a conversation. You're not in a rush.
- 15:37
- This message is the most important thing that you can hear. Please stop and have a conversation with us.
