Welcome back to another conversations with a Calvinist quick quack Today, we're going to be dealing with something that came across my desk this last week And at first I did not want to deal with it But I have decided I have really got to say something about this and maybe some of you have seen this It's this thing right here this letter that has gone out.

It's an open letter from a pastor in North Carolina This was the picture that was on there the picture of course is a steeple which looks like it has been Converted into a Ku Klux Klan mask, and I want to read this letter I want to give some response to this letter very quickly.

I'm not going to give a whole hour to this I don't think it deserves it.

I think it deserves Huh, I think it deserves a lot of ridicule because it's a terrible letter, but I'm gonna read it I'm gonna respond to it in a quick fashion like I said quick quacks at three to five minute videos So let's see how quick I can do this an open letter to white evangelicals, okay right away He's singled out a particular group by color.

This letter is so steeped in the foolish thinking of critical race theory that it's hard to even imagine that Anyone would take it seriously, but people have people have shared this people have shared this a lot And so that's why I'm responding to it He goes on for eight years They watched you relentlessly demonize a black president a man faithfully married for 26 years a doting father and husband without a hint of moral Scandal or the slightest whiff of infidelity they watched you deny his personal faith convictions Argue his birthplace and assail his character all without cause or evidence Okay, not gonna get into this This is obviously saying that all of us just went after Barack Obama because he was a black man not because oh I don't know.

He was for abortion one of the most pro abortion Presidents that we've ever had and yes, that is the one major issue that many of us had with him That's the one major issue that many of us have with the whole Democratic platform is that they are pro abortion We cannot stand for that We cannot stand for the murder of babies and the fact that you only see color and you can't see the blood the red blood of these babies That that's what's killing us.

Okay, I've read the whole letter I've responded as I went but let me say a few final things number one This letter was written to all white evangelicals.

Not all white evangelicals are the same That is number one reason why we should reject a letter like this number two It assumes that the reason why we many of us did not have vote for or support Barack Obama Obama was because of his race that is not true number three It assumes that we all just threw away all of our issues with Trump and supported him Because we immediately became forgiving.

No, there were substantive issues Against which we were opposed to Obama There were substantive issues against which we were opposed to Trump many of us voted him for voted for him though Because we did believe he would make a difference in the areas that we were most concerned with and we were right Here's the point we were right because we said something was going to happen in regard to the subject of abortion and it did Because we just saw it with the overturning of Roe vs.

Wade Donald Trump elect or appointed three support of Supreme Court justices and those three Supreme Court justices were instrumental in Us in the the striking down of the worst decision that was ever handed down by the Supreme Court and that is the Roe vs.

Yeah, we had four years of a guy who on a personal level I didn't like but on a level of Politics where he was appointing people to positions that would do good things that I think are godly things He did it right and we were right so don't tell me that my Lack of support for Obama had to do with this color or my support of Trump had to do with this color It didn't it had everything to do with substance and position and you know what you can say what you want about my color But when you do that, you're showing who the real racist is.
