This is the channel that compares what people are saying in the name of God to the Word of God. Now we're gonna circle back and we're gonna spend a little bit of time really defining very clearly what is the danger regarding Todd White.

We're gonna be spending some time to start off with in the Gospel of Matthew today and we're gonna look very carefully at a prophecy that Jesus gives regarding the last days.

There is a proliferation of a particular type of false person, actually persons plural, and we'll note what

Jesus warns us about and we're gonna unpack what that means. And then we're going to spend some time listening to an interview that Patricia King did with Todd White a few years back in relation to something called the

New Breed. And we're gonna note that it's not merely a group of people, the

New Breed is an anointing. Yeah, we'll talk about all of that in a little bit. A complicated episode, that's all

I got to say as far as like on the discernment scale of difficulty, like one being super simple and ten being the most complicated, this is a good eight and a half, nine, and hopefully

I'll land on my feet. But in order to start off with, we're gonna head on over to my desktop and we're gonna look at Matthew chapter 24 and we'll read it, parts of it, in context.

This is a passage I would strongly make yourself familiar with in relation to the last days. This is one of the clearest texts in relationship to the last days, and this is a proleptic prophecy which kind of smooshes together the destruction of the temple in Jerusalem in 70

AD as kind of a type and shadow of the end of the world. I'll explain that in a second, but here's how the text begins.

Jesus left the temple and was going away when his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple, but he answered them, you see all these, do you not?

Truly I say to you, there will not be left here one stone upon another that will not be thrown down.

And as he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately saying, tell us, when will these things be and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?

So you're gonna note, the disciples hearing that the temple would be destroyed thought that this would have some correlation to the end of the age, the end of the world,

Jesus' second coming. And so the question assumes that, and Jesus here is going to basically use the destruction of the temple as a type and shadow of what's coming in the end and the ultimate judgment of God against rebellious humanity, but that being the case,

Jesus is also going to throw in details regarding the last days. So Jesus answered them, and so this is like the first thing he says, so in the ancient world's way of thinking, first thing is the most important, and he says, see that no one leads you astray.

Many will come in my name saying, I am the Christ, and they will lead many astray.

Now a narrow way of interpreting Jesus' words is to say that, you know, in the days leading up to the return of Christ, that there will be a lot of people saying that they are the

Messiah. But Jesus says something quite interesting here, and he says that they will come in my name, alright?

So this is a little bit different. So let me kind of read this out from the

Greek, verse 5, Now listen to the word,

Christos. What is a Christos?

A Christos is an anointed one. Now oftentimes people, when they hear the word

Christ, and I know this is gonna sound blasphemous, but unfortunately this is how a lot of people think, is they think that Christ is

Jesus' last name, and it's not. So Jesus, Yeshua, he is the

Messiah, the HaMashiach, he is the Messiah, and Mashiach in Hebrew means anointed one, and the

Ha in front of it means that he's the anointed one. But note that in the coming days, there would be many,

Paloi, many, many coming and saying, coming in the name of Jesus, claiming to be anointed ones.

That's the key. And Jesus will reiterate that a little bit later in the chapter, so I think it's important to note that what

Christ is describing here, and we'll see it in the cross -reference, is not merely people claiming to be him, but people coming in his name claiming to be special anointed ones, and that would put them into the category of Christos, actually the plural would be

Christoi, these would be, you know, these would be messiahs, they would be anointed ones.

And when you see the word for what it is, Jesus is the Christ, he's the anointed one, now you start to get into a category that you can see what

Jesus is warning about. So let me reread what Jesus warned us about. See to it that no one leads you astray.

Many will come in my name saying, I am the Christ. They will lead many astray.

And this is the sad part about it, is that people coming in Jesus' name, claiming to be anointed ones, will do what?

They will lead many astray. You'll hear of wars, rumors of war, see that you're not alarmed, this must take place, the end is not yet.

Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom, there will be famines and earthquakes in various places, all these things are the beginning of birth pains.

And so you'll note that the coming of the new earth with the death of the old is likened to a woman in labor.

So then Jesus warns us about what to expect, this should be a lot of fun by the way. They will deliver you up to tribulation, put you to death, you'll be hated by all nations for my name's sake.

Yay! Not some nations, but all of them. You'll be hated by all nations for my name's sake, and many will fall away and betray one another, hate one another.

Many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray.

We're going to talk about false prophets in upcoming episodes of Fighting for the

Faith as far as how do you biblically define them, and we'll be doing some work on that in the future in relation to our

Charismatic Code of Conduct and Ethics, but we'll come back to that later. But anyway, many false prophets will arise and will lead many astray, and because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold, but the one who endures to the end will be saved, and the gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

So you can see Jesus is talking about what? The end of the world! Right, so when you see the abomination of desolation spoken by the

Prophet Daniel standing in the holy place, let the reader understand, then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, let the one who is on the housetop not go down to take what is in his house, let the one who is in the field not turn back to take his cloak, and alas for women who are pregnant, and for those nursing infants in those days, pray that your flight may not be in the winter or on a

Sabbath, for then there will be great tribulations such as not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, and never will be.

And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved, but for the sake of the elect, those days will be cut short.

So then if anyone says to you, listen to what Jesus says here, if anyone says to you, look, here is the

Christos, I am using that word on purpose, so you can say, wait a second, we're dealing with anointed ones, look, here's the anointed one, or there he is, don't believe it, for false, and here's our

Greek word here, pseudo Christoi, pseudo

Christoi, false Christs, plural, and false prophets will arise, and they will perform great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Now pseudo Christoi, our Greek lexicon will help us out here, pseudo

Christoi are a one who in lying fashion gives himself out to be the anointed one, he's a bogus

Messiah, a bogus anointed one, that's the point.

So Jesus is warning us about people coming to us claiming to have special anointings, or even being the anointed one himself, false

Christ, pseudo Christoi, false anointed ones are going to arise, and so there's your category.

So as we look at this kind of concept then as it's playing out in the false teachers in the church, we're going to do a little historical research on Todd White, and note that there are claims being made by him and others about him that he is part of a special elite group of Christians known as the

New Breed, and that he is a partaker of and a recipient of the

New Breed anointing. In other words, Todd White is a

Christos, he's an anointed one. Now the question before us is, is he a true

Christos or is he a pseudo Christos? That's the issue.

So all of that is our foundation. Let me read out just a little bit more because I mean I kind of left on the cliffhanger.

So false Christ and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

See, I've told you beforehand. So if they say to you, look, he's in the wilderness, this anointed one, don't go out.

If they say, look, he's in the inner rooms, don't believe it. For as lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the

Son of Man. Wherever the corpse is there, the vultures will gather. In other words, Jesus is the anointed one we look to, not to any

Christian believer as a special anointed one. Christ is the anointed one.

All others claiming special anointings, Jesus has warned us ahead of time, they're false.

Just, you can just kind of rule them out immediately. That being the case, here's our historical research.

Going back in time a few years, here's Patricia King from her Everlasting Love television program and her interview that she did with Todd White.

This will take, we'll be listening to this for quite a few minutes, but let's listen carefully. Welcome to Everlasting Love.

My name is Patricia King and I'm glad that you've joined us for today's program because I have a dear friend with me, actually, a son in the faith,

Todd White. And Todd, I am so proud of you because of the way that you represent

Jesus. And you're all over the world, you're winning souls to Jesus' heart.

Yeah, he's winning souls by lengthening legs. I would argue that if we were to talk about Todd White having a special anointing, it's the pull my leg anointing.

You know, just saying. Yeah, I write my own jokes. You're seeing them come into the kingdom out of darkness into the light.

We've had you on the streets many times just winning souls and working miracles and doing kingdom life.

I've walked through supermarkets with you, gone into banks and restaurants, and you are the same wherever you are.

You're the same in the pulpit. You're the same in the grocery store because you are a man of God who has been committed to living like a true son of God.

So he's committed to living like a true son of God. Everybody else, not so committed, apparently.

And I want to thank you so much for representing him in that way. Now, before we came out on the set, we were reviewing a scripture out of Romans 8.

And we're going to apply the three rules for sound biblical exegesis here in a second. So before they came on the set, they were reviewing a scripture.

It says for the anxious longing of the creation, wait eagerly for the revealing of the sons of God.

And that word sons there is like mature sons ready to walk in and live in inheritance.

In other words, to be true kingdom sons and daughters. And today's program, we're going to...

Now, she read that out of context. Let's put it back in context, shall we?

So Romans chapter 8. And the reason why she read it out was to make it appear like Todd White is part of the fulfillment of the creation longing for the revealing of the sons of God.

And she said the word there, by the way, for sons is mature sons waiting for an inheritance. No, it isn't.

It's huios. It's the standard word in Koine Greek for sons.

Yeah, huios. It's not a special word for son. It's just the word son. I'll point this out.

Let's pull this up in B day. Huios, a male who is in kinship relationship either biologically or by legal action, a son or offspring or a descendant.

A descendant, a son. You get the idea. This is not some special word here.

And the word here is that, oh, these are mature sons. No, it's the standard word for sons.

So she's already lying. But by quoting it out of context, she's making it appear as if Todd White is part of a special group of sons that is the fulfillment of this passage.

So let me read it out of context like she did. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.

Oh, see, the creation's been waiting for who? For Todd White, apparently, and the members of the new breed.

But is that what Romans 8 is saying? Answer, no.

Three rules for sound biblical exegesis are context, context, and context.

Yes, they're really difficult rules to remember. But anyway, let's apply some context, shall we?

And I will go all the way back to Romans 8 1, and we'll work our way through this passage just because it is great teaching here, and it's something that's quite comforting.

So Paul says, there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

And that's right, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. All of their sins have been bled for and died for.

For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free in Christ from the law of sin and death. For God has done what the law weakened by the flesh could not do by sending his own

Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin he condemns sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who walk not according to the flesh but according to the

Spirit. For those who live according to the flesh, they set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the

Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. For to set the mind on the flesh is death, to set the mind on the

Spirit is life and peace. The mind that is set on the flesh is hostile to God, it does not submit to God's law, indeed it cannot.

Those who are in the flesh cannot please God. Yeah, so you'll note that as a result of man's fall into sin, human minds have their minds set on the flesh, and they are hostile to God, and they do not submit to God's law, and they are not able to do so, and they are not able to please

God. So, but Paul then says this, you, however, are not in the flesh, but you're in the Spirit, if in fact the

Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him. But if Christ is in you, although the body is dead because of sin, the

Spirit is life because of righteousness. So if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised

Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his

18:54

Spirit who dwells in you. So hang in there, Christians, you know, the one who endures to the end will be saved, that's what

Christ said. You'll note then that our hope is not in eternal life here now, or having our best life now, we still have our sinful flesh to contend with.

But the hope and expectation is that when Christ returns, he will give life to our dead mortal bodies, and we will be raised immortal like Christ.

So then, brothers, we are debtors then, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh.

For if you live according to the flesh, you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Okay, so you got this.

So everybody who's a Christian, who's truly a Christian, they are already what?

Sons of God. I'm a son of God, and if you're a Christian watching this, you're a son of God, and you'll note that sons also will refer to daughters as well.

But anyway, for you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry out,

Abba, Father. So the Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are presently children of God, and if children, then we are heirs, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided that we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

So you'll note the verse that Patricia King read out of context was Romans 8, 19.

The creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God, but notice the sentence just before it.

Yeah, let me put it to you this way. The Gospel of John says this in John chapter one, true light, which gives light to everyone was coming into the world, talking about the incarnation of Christ.

He was in the world and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him. He came to his own and his own people did not receive him, but to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but born of God.

All right? So yeah, if you as a Christian, you as a child of God, that's bad grammar, but it makes the point.

I think you get the idea. So coming back then to Romans then, so let me read again verse 18. I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us, for the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God, plural, for the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.

For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in pains of childbirth until now, and not only the creation, but we ourselves who have the first fruits of the

Spirit, we groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoptions as sons, the redemption of our bodies, for in this hope we were saved.

Now hope that is seen is not hope, but the one who hopes for what he sees, for who hopes for what he sees, but if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

So you'll note then the revealing of the sons of God, referred to in Romans 8, 19, well that occurs at the resurrection, because that's what the context is all about.

It's when Jesus returns in glory, and the revealing of the sons of God is when we are resurrected from the grave, no longer mortal, still with a sinful flesh, but raised immortal without a sinful flesh, and that's what this is.

And so until Christ returns, and until the resurrection, the creation is subjected to futility, and it's anxiously waiting to be released from that.

So now you know the context of what's going on in Romans 8. I said this would be complicated, but we're going to build this up one piece at a time.

So let me back the video up just a little bit so you can hear again Patricia King using

Romans 8, 19 out of context in order to apply it to Todd White specifically, and those who would come alongside of him and join him in his new breed anointing, because that's what she's really teaching here.

So let me back this up, listen again, and you'll hear it. Now before we came out on the set, we were reviewing a scripture out of Romans 8, verse 19.

No, it's not. It's the standard word for sons in Koine Greek. It's weos. In other words, to be true kingdom sons and daughters.

And today's program, we're going to focus on a title called the new breed.

And that term was actually introduced to you in a prophecy when we first met.

Maybe you could share that story. No, it was introduced to Todd White years ago.

But I would argue that the phrase new breed was introduced into the charismatic and the

NAR movements by Bob Jones. Yeah, he's the one who made a big to do about the new breed.

Let me go back in time even further. I apologize for the fuzziness of this video. But here is

Todd Bentley with Bob Jones on God TV. And this is going back some time here.

2007, 2008. And Todd Bentley is going to ask Bob Jones about what is the new breed?

And listen to what Bob Jones says. Bob, do you want to add anything to where this is going?

What's happening? And tell us a little bit about the new breed. The new breed is simply the body of Christ is going to grow up.

What he's doing now is bringing you to a level of maturity where you grow up. Now note that Patricia King, she used that phrase, you know, sons of God mature, ready for an inheritance kind of thing.

So you'll note that Patricia King is using the phrase new breed and sons of God in the same way

Bob Jones is here because both Bob Jones and Patricia King are part of the

NAR. But Bob Jones is now gone to receive his reward for his false prophecies and false doctrine.

You know, just saying. And if you grow up, you'll never regress.

You'll continue progress year by year. So note, he says, if you grow up in the new breed as the sons of God, you'll never regress.

That's kind of an interesting note. I'm pointing it out and highlighting it so that you can see for yourself that what

Todd White claims that he is, what Patricia King claims that Todd White is, comports with the so -called prophecy and revelation given to Bob Jones.

So what he's talking about is the new breed is this. It's Romans 1 .4,

the spirit of holiness. So for years, I've tried to get understanding what the spirit of holiness is, for it's different than the

Holy Spirit. So last Saturday, he spoke to me about a new breed of people.

And he said, I don't you get in front of them, I want you to get behind them. And it'll be close to the ages of 25 to 40.

And there's very few prophecies out there about people that's between 25 to 40.

But this is who the new breed is. So I began to, in this trance

I went into at three o 'clock last Saturday, I could ask questions.

I began to ask questions. What is this new breed? It's the new breed will be those that are partaker of the divine nature.

As you begin to grow into the likeness of Christ, you're going to begin to partake of the divine nature.

So according to prophecy from a trance that Bob Jones went into, the new breed will be partakers of the divine nature.

They're going to be little deities here on earth. Yeah, no biblical text preaches this, but so that's where this really comes from.

And you'll note that Patricia King is a full subscriber to the new breed prophecy and believes that Todd White is, well, one of these guys who is a mature son of God, who is a partaker of the divine nature.

And he has a special anointing too, you'll hear that shortly. But let me back this up just a little bit and then we'll keep going.

A title called the new breed. And that term was actually introduced to you in a prophecy when we first met.

Maybe you could share that story. Yeah. At the time that that happened, I was growing in intimacy with God and learning to know my father.

And I was walking the only Jesus that I know, which is full on all the time.

I get enough sleep at night, I'm off. And then when I'm awake, I'm on. It's just, I'm on high. Because prior to that, you'd lived a life of drug addiction and you've been in and out of institutions.

Yeah. I was America's worst, I guess you could say, but God had a plan for me.

It was God's most wanted. That's it. It was awesome. Yeah. And so at the time I was kind of going,

I've gone to a bunch of conferences and I was a few years old in the Lord and I was learning to know

God as my father. I was growing in intimacy and I heard God say to me, I need you to go to this conference.

And I was like, well, I actually kind of argued a little just by saying, I really don't want to go to another conference.

And he said, no, I need you to go to this one. I have a word for you. So I didn't even say anything to you.

And it was the first time we met. And I think it was a Saturday afternoon. You had, you, you had said to get the recorder ready and said,

Todd White, I need you to, to come up here. And you had said to me a new breed. And when that word hit me, what happened is it hit my heart in such a way that I normally don't,

I don't feel a whole lot like as far as I'm a faith guy. And so I hit the ground. And when

I woke up, there was a bunch of money on me and it was, and I was a mess. And I said, what happened?

And I remember the word new breed. And when that word hit me, when I was actually coming to, God had spoke to me about.

So you'll note that his credentials are basically being put forward here.

Why should we believe him? Well, he went to a Patricia King conference. And when he was there, the words new breed hit his heart and he was out like a light or something.

And he woke up with money on him and, and then God directly spoke to him all because of the words new breed.

In other words, his entire testimony is designed to create the impression that Todd is super tight with God in a way that you could only hope for.

And if you really want to be a super tight with God, the way Todd is, I mean, after all the words new breed hit his heart and knocked him over and he woke up with money on him and got, and then

God spoke to him. Uh, you'll, you'll know all the credentials here that he's putting forward are experiential in the sense that you trust me, he's, he's, he's real super holy man.

He's, he's part of the new breed, you know, the, the new breed prophesied by the sexual pervert,

Bob Jones. Right. You know, so, you know, it's, it, it's legit, man.

Cause you'll note that he hasn't made a name for himself as a sound biblical exegete, as one who rightly handles

God's word far from it. Instead, these are you. So he has, this whole story is designed to make you believe he really, truly is holier than you.

He has a special anointing that you don't have. He is an anointed one.

He is a Christos, a Messiah. That's the whole point of this particular.

Well, story, let me back this up just a little bit and we will continue.

In such a way that I normally don't, I don't feel a whole lot like as far as I'm a faith guy.

And so I hit the ground and when I woke up, there was a bunch of money on me and it was, and I was a mess.

And I said, what happened? And I remember the word new breed. And when that word hit me, when

I was actually coming to, God had spoke to me about what that meant. And what that meant to me was that a person that would walk in the power of God, that would walk in the full on power of God, which comes from the love of God.

So a new breed is somebody who walks in the power of God. I mean, all other Christians up to this point who are not part of the new breed.

Yeah, they haven't been able to do that apparently. Because it's love and power. He gave me a spirit, not a fear, but of love and power and a sound mind.

And so I have this sound mind that God gave me, which enables me, part of the sound mind is the conscience and being able to keep my conscience clean.

And I feel that it is a big necessity because when you said new breed, it was a person that would walk like Jesus walked, which is the original partaker of the divine nature walks like Jesus walk.

Here's an important biblical text for everybody. And it's found in Ecclesiastes chapter seven, it's verse 20.

Surely there is not a righteous man on the earth who does good and never sins.

Yeah. The prayer that Jesus taught us to pray. Yeah, let's take a look at that, shall we?

Jesus taught us to pray a prayer. And here's the thing that prayer is a daily prayer.

Yeah, how do I know? Well, it's, it's kind of in the details of the prayer itself.

And, and so the idea is, is that Jesus taught us to pray, Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

And then notice Jesus's phrase here, give us this day, our daily bread.

So how often are we to pray this prayer? Daily. The expectation is, is that the

Lord's prayer is prayed daily. You pray daily for your daily bread. I always like to point out to the congregation that I serve and the catechism, my confirmands and my catechism class, that the prayer is expecting a daily thing.

You're not praying for weekly groceries. You're praying for daily bread. So give us, what's it say?

Todd White claims that when the words, new breed hit him, that God spoke to him and that he's experiencing intimacy with the father in such a way that he is completely keeping his conscience clean.

That's an important thing here because Todd White is making claims for himself that are actually part, historically, of what's known as the

Pelagian heresy. And I would also like to throw in for good measure, then, these words from first John chapter one, if we say we have no sin.

This was written to Christians. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

But if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

So note, part of the new breed here is this claim that somehow you can walk in the power of God in such a way that you're going to keep your conscience clean.

You're not going to sin. I'll show you another video from Todd where he makes that exact same claim. In fact, let's do that now.

He's trying to say is that God's going to create Christianity 2 .0 and that Todd White is the beta software for that new operating system for the new breed.

I think that's a good way to put it. Christianity, a new breed, one that would walk in the love of God that is so consumed by a passionate love for Him, a passionate love that's from Him, for Him, and back to Him, where we're so consumed with the love of God, where there's no temptation in an area to walk in this area or to walk in that area because...

Yeah, there's no temptation. In fact, so the new breed, I mean, they will totally keep their consciences clean.

No temptation will overcome them. They will completely keep themselves from sinning.

We say we have no sin. We deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. Because the love of God is so tasty, is so meaty, is so delicious that anything other than that isn't an option because there's nothing that separates.

Why? Why would we as Christians, when sonship is established, what we know is our dad.

He's our dad. I'm a son. He's my dad, and nothing gets... No, this is not based upon any biblical text.

This is just his theological musings and speculations based upon his experience of the weightiness of the words new breed.

It's in between here where there's a life of no compromise that's established because compromise separates relationship.

You can't bite your lip and walk Christianity out. You can't bite your lip and let your conduct be honorable.

You can't bite your lip in a traffic jam and say, okay, I'm not going to be upset. I'm not going to be upset. I'm not going to be upset.

That doesn't happen, but there's such a love relationship established between my father and I to where that person is a valuable instrument that God wants to use their weapon.

They might be a weapon of sin, a slave to sin right now, but they're going to become an instrument of righteousness, and God's value for them is profuse.

So when I see them, and I see them being angry or flipping me off or whatever, I look at them and I say,

I had that I accrued on a credit card from charging and stealing money to pay drugs, to buy drugs.

It was a brand new beginning for you. It was awesome. And you were actually planning on going into, I think it was real estate, the very next week.

And yet in that commissioning, God said, no, you're not going to do that. I'm raising you up to serve me.

And you have been living by faith with no visible means of support since then. But that was a sign that God would provide for you.
