This is a troubling statement: "Gentiles for his name's sake Faith is described as the obedience of faith. This is what faith is. It's obedience. We cannot say that we believe upon somebody and that we are disobedient to him if I believe him I will obey him and If I obey him it is a mark of my obedience Romans chapter 2 verse 8 describes..." Faith is not obedience--it is "apart from works." The "obedience of faith" is rather the obedience that COMES FROM faith: "Through him we received grace and apostleship to call all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith for his name’s sake." (Rom 1:5, cf. Rom 12:26, NIV).
