This is a ministry of striving for eternity. So this week we're looking at the simple critical thinking skills that you can apply to really demolish arguments made by different groups.
01:25
We'll look at the group of those who want to say they're transgender and choose which bathroom they want to use.
01:31
This is a big issue, and yet a little critical thinking shows that their real issue has nothing to do with the bathrooms.
01:38
The argument is that it is discriminatory to not allow them to use certain bathrooms. Different things have been proposed.
01:45
One, remove all signs on bathrooms, therefore everyone can use whatever bathroom they want.
01:51
It's amazing how when that argument was made, it was claimed that men would go into women's bathrooms and could sexually assault women there.
01:59
However, the simple logic would be, well what about the man who is dressed like a woman, or not even dressed like a woman, just says he's a woman, and goes into a woman's bathroom?
02:11
Because the restriction is no longer there when you say that they could go into any bathroom they want.
02:17
Why do they want to use those bathrooms? It doesn't actually have to do with a bathroom, because if you think about it, you're going into the bathroom and you have the individual stalls.
02:28
If anyone can use any bathroom, there wouldn't be that issue. Yet they recognize that with heterosexuals, or people who are acting within their gender, that somehow they would do crimes that a transgender would never, possibly, ever make.
02:45
That's kind of crazy when so many of these people focus everything on their identity in their sexuality.
