Tony Valoiz was a friend of mine. He was a good brother in Christ.
Go Fund Me for Jeanette and the kids:
- 00:00
- Hello ladies and gentlemen, my name is Justin Peters I hope that you and your family are doing well, and I want to thank you very much for watching this video
- 00:08
- This is undoubtedly the saddest video that I have ever done, but I'm doing this video to ask you to Consider helping a family that I know this is
- 00:20
- Tony and Jeanette Valois and their children Anthony, Jeshua, Vincent, and Victoria Tony passed away,
- 00:32
- Tony died just a couple of weeks ago as of this recording, Sunday, November the 28th
- 00:39
- They were actually getting ready to go to church that morning and Tony just collapsed
- 00:46
- Had a brain aneurysm and of course Jeanette did everything that she could,
- 00:52
- CPR, called 911 They got him to the hospital, but Tony was gone
- 00:59
- No brain activity, and so Tony is now with Christ Tell you just a little bit about Tony, I first met
- 01:09
- Tony and Jeanette I guess about seven or eight years ago, I was preaching at a church in San Diego where they live
- 01:17
- Tony saw on my website that I was preaching in his neck of the woods He contacted me and asked if we could talk or meet or whatever
- 01:29
- I don't remember all the details of how it shook out, but we did We ended up meeting for lunch and that began a friendship with Tony Kathy was with me as well on this trip
- 01:40
- Kathy got to meet Tony and Jeanette Just began a friendship with them and they are such, such dear, sweet people
- 01:50
- Tony is one of those guys, some people you meet, you just instantly like them
- 01:56
- You almost have to like them because they're so likable Tony was one of those guys, just a bubbly, sunny kind of a personality
- 02:07
- Funny, but just a very kind man
- 02:14
- I just instantly liked Tony and so did Kathy and we liked Jeanette as well
- 02:20
- But to tell you a little bit about Tony, he's just one of those guys you have to like Loving husband, loved his family, loved his wife, loved his kids
- 02:33
- And loved Christ, he loved the Lord Tony was very committed to truth
- 02:40
- God delivered him out of all the charismatic nonsense All the stuff that I teach about And that may be one of the reasons that I guess
- 02:49
- Tony was kind of turned to my ministry To that direction, found me or whatever
- 02:54
- But anyway, just a great, great guy I can't say enough good things about Tony Here's a picture, in fact, of me and Tony and Paul Washer from about a year ago
- 03:08
- This was at the Expositores Conferencia It's kind of the Spanish version of the
- 03:14
- Shepherds Conference that they have there And Paul Washer and I were speaking at it And Tony drove up from San Diego to LA to go to this
- 03:25
- Anyway, just a great guy It's still hard for me to believe that he's not here
- 03:32
- But as you might suspect, Tony was the breadwinner And so they don't have him now
- 03:40
- And as you might imagine, there are financial needs Not that money in any way lessens the hurt and the pain, the loss that they feel
- 03:49
- But if you would, I'm just doing this video to ask you to help this family
- 03:56
- There's a link in the description down below to a GoFundMe account that has been set up And if you would prayerfully consider helping this family
- 04:08
- And I know you don't know them But I can vouch for them as just a dear, dear, sweet family
- 04:14
- And they do need some help now I would very much appreciate you doing that I have done that,
- 04:21
- I'm not asking you to do anything that I haven't done My ministry, Justin Peters Ministries, has helped them
- 04:31
- But it would mean a lot to me, thank you I'm not comfortable asking for money
- 04:37
- I never ask for money for myself But I do want to do this for Jeanette and her kids
- 04:44
- I've had a number of conversations with Jeanette in the last couple weeks Just talking about this
- 04:50
- And asked them how they are holding up And all things considered, they're doing remarkably well
- 04:56
- They hurt, of course, they miss Jeanette misses her husband, the kids miss their father
- 05:02
- But Jeanette was telling me some about her kids
- 05:07
- And how they are handling this And the way that they are handling it Though they are in tremendous pain
- 05:14
- They have an incredibly biblical perspective on this
- 05:20
- They are trusting the Lord They know that God is sovereign They know He is in control They know that He is good
- 05:26
- And He can never act towards us in any way that's outside of His character and nature So though they miss
- 05:33
- Tony They are trusting in the Lord And that reflects so well on Tony It reflects so well on the spiritual leadership that he provided for his family
- 05:47
- So, anyway dear ones If you would consider this, it would mean a lot to me It would mean a lot to them
- 05:53
- So, thank you very much Thank you for watching Again, the link to the
- 05:58
- GoFundMe is down below in the description So, may
- 06:04
- God bless you Merry Christmas to you And thank you so very much Until our next time together
