Welcome to another installment of Fighting for the Faith. My name is Chris Rosebro. I am your servant in Jesus Christ.
00:21
This is the channel that compares what people are saying in the name of God to the
00:26
Word of God. Now, if you've ever been told that Christians have authority over the weather and that the weather is beneath them and that you can decree, declare, and command storms and weather and things like that to obey you, yeah, go ahead and hit the subscribe button down below.
00:43
Don't forget to ring the bell. You've been taught false doctrine. Now, a little bit of a note here.
00:49
It's been a few weeks since we've posted a video here at Fighting for the Faith. Just want to say we've got a backlog of topics that we're gonna be covering over the next few weeks, so just stay with us.
01:01
We're gonna get all to it. My apologies. I was down with a pretty awful cold after I got back from Europe, and so we're just now getting back into the saddle.
01:11
So I know that there's a lot of topics you really want me to weigh in on. Not a problem. We'll get to them all in good time.
01:19
Ultimately, this is a teaching channel. That's what we do. We teach, and we're gonna use today's video to open up God's Word.
01:28
Now, it's been a week since Dorian really did its devastation down in the Bahamas, and if you've been watching the news, it's just absolutely tragic and sad, the devastation and the loss of life and property that has occurred in the
01:44
Bahamas and along the U .S. coast as a result of Hurricane Dorian. All of that being said, we're gonna be checking in with Kat Kerr.
01:54
In fact, let me pull this up here, and we're gonna be checking in with Kat Kerr in a video that she did while Dorian was marching up the coast and spinning over and kind of stalling out over the
02:09
Bahamas, and we're gonna use this as an opportunity to talk about what, you know, when it comes to storms and things like this, do
02:18
Christians have authority? The answer is no, we do not. There is nothing in Scripture that says that you or I have authority over the weather.
02:28
That is the prerogative of God, and so we're gonna let Kat Kerr kind of spin out her weird theology, because that's what she does, and we'll chime in with three different passages from the
02:42
New Testament to take a look at this topic, and then maybe even button it up with a, you know, what is a proper understanding of prayer?
02:52
Because what Kat Kerr would have you engage in and other people in the wingnut, charismatic
02:58
NAR, you know, visible wing of Christianity, and I'm using
03:03
Christianity in the loosest term possible, they would have you believe that you can command and decree and that you don't want to, you don't want to agree with what man is saying out there.
03:13
This is nonsense, absolute gobbledygook. This is not Christian theology. So let's let
03:19
Kat Kerr spin this out, shall we? Hello all you weather warriors. I'll wait a few minutes for people just to jump on before I get to our top subject tonight.
03:31
But, and you know, let me tell you, the thing about doing stuff like this, I know we look very professional right now, so no, you don't care at all, actually, because you know,
03:43
I've been a leader for years in my life, in case you didn't know, I helped to raise 12 of my siblings.
03:51
Now now if you're thinking to yourself, this woman looks like she's a taco short of a combo plate, and sounds like she's definitely, you know, a taco short of a combo plate, then
04:02
I think that would actually be a fair assessment of her. In fact,
04:08
I'm just gonna put it out there, you know, when we talk about, you know, putting the best construction on things, and this is what
04:15
Christians are called to do, that putting the best construction on Kat Kerr, this is a woman who teaches heretical false doctrine, claims to have traveled to heaven on many occasions, and her theology is absolutely wackerdoodle wingnut kind of stuff, and you know, just all of that being said, putting the best construction on it, there's really only a few choices.
04:36
Choice number one, she's mentally ill. That's an actual choice, and may be the kindest thing that you can say about her.
04:47
Worst case scenario, she's demonized, or it's a combination of mental illness and demonization together, but what we're gonna be hearing from her has nothing to do with what
04:57
Scripture teaches, or anything that has anything related to prayer involved in it at all.
05:02
This is just to reinforce and make her look like she's, you know, super -dee -duper tight with Jesus in a way that you and I could only wish that we were, but she's not, and that's the problem.
05:17
The baby lives with me. Yes, that would be Jen. There she is with the thumbs up.
05:23
Everybody give her a thumbs up! She also has to live with me, so hey, you can look at it both ways, right?
05:28
And my husband, mm -hmm, the Scottishman, he's got five layers in his soul. We'll talk about that another time.
05:35
We got a lot of funny stuff we can tell you, but we don't think the storm is funny. Actually, we despise the storm, and I am talking to every weather warrior out there, every wanna -be one, let me give you...
05:47
Wanna -be weather warrior, and you'll note there that in the video, just, you know, off to the right of her, at least, you know, it would be on her left, there's something that looks like a staff, you know, like a wizard's staff or something like that.
06:02
Uh -huh. Don't agree. That doesn't mean you're saying the storm is not there.
06:09
Obviously, it is there. So whatever you do, don't agree! Don't agree with what exactly, if I'm not supposed to not agree that the storm isn't there.
06:20
But we do not have to agree with what man says about it, all right?
06:26
Lots of times, they're not right anyway. It's like medicine, their practice being a weather person, because as you know, growing up in your years, which might be five, who knows?
06:39
I've been around for longer than that. However, I'm still claiming to be timeless! You know,
06:44
I've got so much I could share with you, and I'm not going to do that right now. I promise to take a time when
06:50
I will talk about being timeless. In other words, you look like there's no age on you, and if you don't want that...
06:56
You do not look timeless, lady. I'm just saying, you know, neither do
07:02
I. I mean, you definitely don't look 18 to me. There must be something wrong with you.
07:08
We will have prayer later. Some people don't even like the way I talk about things. It's okay to laugh.
07:14
It's okay to be passionate. You know who God loves? People who are passionate about the things
07:19
He has given them, put in them, asked them to do. And I'm no different, okay?
07:25
If you knew me when I was little, I would not have said a word to you. I would have walked right past you like you would. I don't really care about, you know, your life or anything like that.
07:34
What does this have to do with what we as Christians are called to do? And that is to pray and things like that.
07:40
The question is, do we have authority over the weather? That's the question. I had a tribe at home.
07:47
I didn't need to have communication. I was never part of a group or a clique. Didn't know what that was. I gave myself to God at an early age, and yes,
07:56
I know Him well. I seriously doubt it. Yeah, I see no evidence of that.
08:03
Never have in any of your teaching or any of the things that you claim about yourself. And He wants this to happen.
08:11
Really, God wants us to be over the weather, not under it, to become weather warriors. Really, if that were the case, then how come the
08:22
Apostle Paul missed the message from God? I'll get to that in a minute, but let's keep this going for a bit.
08:29
People think I've lost my mind. I lost my mind a long time ago. Well, at least she admits it.
08:36
I have the mind of Christ, and that's why we want to stop the storms. Yeah, you go right ahead, lady.
08:42
And you'll know, we recorded this after the fact. She far from stopped it.
08:48
That thing just skidded along the east coast of the United States, decimated the Bahamas, and I mean, the damage and the flooding as a result of this and the loss of life and property was ginormous.
09:03
He did. He doesn't like storms either. And that was no little summer storm in when he was in the boat.
09:11
Okay, that boat was being flung everywhere. The disciples were screaming they were going to sink. They were going to die.
09:17
And Jesus was sleeping. And the minute he woke up, he dealt with it.
09:23
And yes, I know he did say the Bible says peace be still. I think he yelled it and said, just shut up and stop.
09:30
Yeah, that's what you think. Now, this is where we're going to we're going to steer into the scriptures for a little bit.
09:36
Yeah, we're going to steer into the scriptures. And we're going to take a look at two passages from the Gospel of Matthew.
09:42
And we're also going to take a look at Acts 27. So let's get to that first, shall we?
09:49
All right, Matthew chapter 8. Matthew chapter 8. This is the account of the storm on the
09:55
Sea of Galilee, Jesus asleep on the boat. And let's take a look at what the punchline is here in this text.
10:05
So it says this, when Jesus got into the boat, his disciples followed him. Behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being swamped by the waves, but he was asleep.
10:18
And they went and they woke him. Now, a little bit of a note here. Jesus asleep during a storm.
10:24
Remember that Jonah himself is a type in shadow of Christ. And he was, you know, while the storm was kicked up to, you know, to kind of like get him to toe the line and obey the
10:36
Word of the Lord, he was down asleep. And while the fact that he was sleeping actually was kind of like disturbing to the other people on the ship with Jonah.
10:44
But a little bit of a note here. There's some tie -ins back to the types and shadows. And these stories do work together in some ways.
10:50
Because remember, when Jonah was thrown into the sea, the storm immediately, you know, subsided.
10:56
It just went, whew, went calm. So Jesus got, you know, behold, Jesus is asleep, there's a great storm.
11:04
They went and they woke him, saying, Save us, Lord, we are perishing. And he said,
11:09
Why are you afraid, O you of little faith? Then he rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
11:19
And the men marveled, saying, What sort of man is this that even the winds and the sea obey him?
11:29
And that's really the question on the table. Because who did Matthew write his gospel about?
11:37
Jesus. In fact, Matthew makes a cameo appearance in his own gospel, and Matthew doesn't even write it in first person.
11:45
He writes about himself in third person. This is all about Jesus. And so early on in the gospel of Matthew, the disciples, having now been called by Christ, having heard
11:57
Jesus preach the Sermon on the Mount, you know, with the first big teaching moment in the gospel of Matthew, then chapter 8, you have this event, and they've got to come to grips with the question that is before them.
12:10
Who is Jesus? Who is he? Is he merely a man, or is he more than man?
12:16
And so you'll note that here, the fact that Jesus has authority, note the disciples don't,
12:22
Jesus has authority over the wind and the waves, causes them to ask the question,
12:28
What sort of man is this? Who is this Jesus that even the winds and the sea obey him?
12:34
Because in the Old Testament, it is God who has control over the winds and the sea, not man.
12:44
So, alright, keep that in mind. Now, next text, next text, and this is one that we're all familiar with, and this is the the account of Jesus walking on the water, and watch how this particular story resolves.
12:58
So immediately, Jesus made the disciples get into the boat, this is Matthew 14, and go before him to the other side, and while he dismissed the crowds, and after he had dismissed the crowds, he went up on the mountain by himself to pray.
13:13
When evening came, he was there alone, but the boat by this time was a long way from the land, beaten by the waves, for the wind was against them.
13:22
And in the fourth watch of the night, Jesus came to them walking on the sea, but when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were terrified and said,
13:31
It's a ghost! And they cried out in fear, but immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying,
13:36
Take heart, it is I, do not be afraid. So Peter answered him, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water.
13:45
Now, a little bit of a note, the Greek here is actually kind of fun. You know, where Jesus says, Take heart, it is I, actually
13:51
Jesus says, Take heart, ego eimi, I am.
13:58
Yeah, Jesus here in the Greek is invoking the divine name from Exodus chapter 3, when
14:06
God is speaking to Moses from the burning bush, and Moses asks, What is your name? He says,
14:11
My name is I Am. So Jesus says, Take heart, I am, do not be afraid.
14:18
And that's the point now here. And so even Jesus's words while he's walking on the water, the comforting words that he's giving to his disciples who are terrified, thinking that they're seeing a ghost or an apparition on the
14:29
Sea of Galilee, Jesus says, I am, which is a reference to and an allusion to the fact that Jesus is
14:38
God in human flesh. And that's really the the gist of all of this, and that's the point of this particular miracle.
14:47
So Peter answered him, Lord, if it is you, command me to come to you on the water. And he said,
14:53
Come. So note, Peter didn't decree and declare, Peter didn't say,
14:59
Well, I'm gonna walk on the water too, and so I command the waves to hold me up. No, he says,
15:04
Lord, you say the word. And so Jesus says, You come. So Peter got out of the boat and walked on the water and came to Jesus.
15:12
But when he saw the wind, he was afraid, and he began to sink, and he cried out, Lord, save me.
15:18
Good prayer, by the way. Lord, save me. Jesus immediately reached out his hand, took hold of him, saying to him,
15:24
O you of little faith, why did you doubt? And watch how the punchline of the story is.
15:30
And when they got into the boat, the wind ceased, and those in the boat worshipped
15:35
Jesus, saying, Truly you are the Son of God. So you'll note, then, that Jesus, having command of the weather, now in the second instance where a storm is calmed, the disciples are able to put two and two together, of course
15:51
Jesus assisted them a little bit when he said, I am, and now they worship
15:57
Jesus. And Scripture's clear, you shall worship the Lord your God and serve him only, and him only, you know, you don't get to worship nobody else.
16:05
And so Jesus receives their worship, which tacitly affirms that he is who they are claiming him to be, the
16:14
Son of God, that is who he is. And so Jesus' authority over the weather is an indicator that he is the divine
16:25
Son of God. That's the point. Now, next text. This one's a little bit long, but you'll kind of get the point.
16:32
The Apostle Paul, you know, near the end of the book of Acts, is on his way to, of all places,
16:40
Rome. And he's being sent there because he's under arrest, he's been in prison for a bit of time now, and he's going to go on trial, and actually his trial is going to go before Caesar himself.
16:52
So the Apostle Paul, in this trip, is going to find himself in the hole of a ship, and they're going to come across a very severe storm, one that lasts for a long time.
17:04
And you'll note something that's fascinatingly missing here, and that is any indicator by the
17:10
Apostle Paul that he believes that he should take control of this situation, and decree and declare and be over the weather rather than under it.
17:18
No, not at all. So here's what it says, Acts 27. So when it was decided that we should sail for Italy, they delivered
17:25
Paul to a centurion of the Augustan cohort named Julius, and embarking in a ship of Adrammatium, which was about to sail to the ports along the coast of Asia, we put to sea accompanied by Aristarchus, a
17:43
Macedonian from Thessalonica, and the next day we put in at Sidon. Julius treated
17:49
Paul kindly, gave him leave to go to his friends to be cared for, and putting out to sea from there, we sailed under the
17:56
Lee of Cyprus. Now a little bit of a note here, you'll note that it says, we. This is one of the interesting things about the
18:04
Book of Acts, and that is its author, Dr. Luke, in several instances in the
18:09
Book of Acts, is an eyewitness and a participant in the things that are recorded there. And so this is known as one of the we sections of the
18:18
Book of Acts, so Luke is along for the boat ride, shall we say. So putting out to sea from there, we sailed under the
18:25
Lee of Cyprus because the winds were against us, and when we had sailed across the open sea along the coast of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra in Lycia, and there the
18:36
Centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing for Italy and put us on board. We sailed slowly for a number of days and arrived with difficulty off Snidus, and as the wind did not allow us to go farther, we sailed under the
18:48
Lee of Crete off Salmon, coasting along it with difficulty. We came to a place called
18:54
Fair Havens, near which was the city of Lassia. Now note here, they're having weather issues.
19:02
Paul hasn't stepped up and said, let me fix this for you. I command you winds, in the name of Jesus, to stop being against us.
19:12
We've got to get to Rome. Doesn't do that at all. Since much time had now passed, the voyage was now dangerous, because even the fast was already over.
19:22
Paul advised them, saying, sirs, I perceive that the voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of cargo and of the ship, but also of our lives.
19:31
But the Centurion paid more attention to the pilot and to the owner of the ship than to what Paul said, which kind of makes sense.
19:38
I mean, who are you, Paul, right? And so because the harbor was not suitable to spend the winter in, the majority decided to put out to sea from there, on the chance that somehow they could reach
19:48
Phoenix, a harbor of Crete, facing both southwest and northwest, to spend the winter there.
19:55
Now when the south wind blew gently, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, they weighed anchor and sailed along Crete, close to the shore.
20:04
But soon a tempestuous wind, called the nor 'easter, struck down from the land, and when the ship was caught and could not face the wind, we gave way to it and were driven along.
20:17
Running under the lee of a small island, Kauda, we managed, with difficulty, to secure the ship's boat.
20:25
After hoisting it up, they used supports to undergird the ship, then fearing that they would run aground on the
20:32
Cirrus, they lowered the gear and thus were driven along. Since we were violently storm -tossed, they began the next day to jettison the cargo, and on the third day they threw the ship's tackle overboard with their own hands.
20:48
When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest lay on us, all hope of our being saved was at last abandoned."
20:58
So you'll note here, again, something dramatically missing. The Apostle Paul going, give me a second, guys,
21:07
I need to have a chat with this storm, and I need to get over it, we don't need to be under this,
21:14
I can just hush this thing right up, and I command the millibars to rise, and nope, none of that, none of that at all.
21:21
The Apostle Paul seems to be completely ignorant of authority that Christians are supposed to have over the weather.
21:29
We continue. So since they had been without food for a long time, Paul stood up among them and said, men, you should have listened to me, and not have set sail from Crete and incurred this injury and loss.
21:42
By the way, a little bit of a note, the Apostle Paul doesn't seem to quite get the idea that saying, see
21:47
I told you so, is not exactly an endearing thing to do. Anyway, so now
21:52
I urge you to take heart, for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.
21:59
For this very night there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom
22:05
I worship, and he said, do not be afraid, Paul, you must stand before Caesar.
22:10
And behold, God has granted you all those who sail with you.
22:16
So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told, but we must run aground on some island.
22:25
So note here, it says God has granted you all those who sail with you.
22:34
In other words, what was Paul doing while the storm was surging, while the storm was raging?
22:42
Answer, Paul was doing what all Christians are called to do, he was praying. And prayer is not decreeing and declaring, not at all.
22:51
In fact, let's let me open up another tab here, I'm going to duplicate this tab, and we're going to do a search in the epistles for the word pray.
23:01
I'm going to do a flex search here in the epistles, and we're going to look for the concept of prayer.
23:08
Okay, I'm going to go past the book of Acts, because there's lots of instances of praying in the book of Acts, but I want to get to the epistles because prayer, you know, the epistles themselves are really, really thick theological doctrinal treatises, and so oftentimes we get very specific teaching regarding what
23:31
God would have us believe, confess, and do, and even the explanation of the theological importance of certain historical events in the epistles themselves.
23:39
So that's the idea here, is that prayer is a concept then that shows up in the didactic portion of scriptures, which is the epistles.
23:49
So here's what it says, do not deprive one another, except perhaps by agreement for a limited time, talking about husbands and wives, to devote yourselves to prayer.
23:57
Prayer, by the way, the Greek word prosuche. Prosuche, let's take a look at that, and I need to open this up and make it just a little bit bigger.
24:07
Prosuche is a petition addressed to deity.
24:14
Prayer. It's a petition. Prayer is a time of saying,
24:21
Lord, I beseech you, I ask you, I am petitioning you.
24:28
That's what prayer is. Now there are other words for prayer in Scripture, and I'm gonna see if I can find some of them.
24:36
I think I need to go to, like, Thessalonians, but let's see here. Always in my prayers.
24:42
Oh, here's another one. Philippians chapter 1, verse 4. Deasis. Deasis.
24:49
Listen to what deasis is. This is another one of the major words for prayer in the New Testament. Urgent request to meet a need.
24:59
Exclusively addressed to God. Notice it says, request.
25:07
Uh -huh. That's what prayer is. So it's a petition, it's a request, so you'll note then that the angel that God sent to assure the
25:18
Apostle Paul, the angel says, God has granted you all those who sail with you, and why would
25:28
God grant it? Because Paul asked for it. In his prayers, he urgently petitioned and requested from God that they would, that the people would not die on that ship, and that he would rescue them.
25:46
And so, so now the Apostle Paul gets the confirmation from God that God has granted you all those who sail with you.
25:56
In other words, guess what? The answer is yes, and God has granted it because you have requested, petitioned.
26:05
So take heart, men, I have faith in God, Paul says, that he, that it will be done exactly as I have been told, but we must run aground.
26:14
So when the 14th night had come, two whole weeks they had been blown around by this
26:21
Nor 'easter. You know, when the 14th night had come, we were being driven across the
26:28
Adriatic Sea. About midnight, the sailors suspected that we were nearing land, and they took a sounding and found 20 fathoms a little farther on, and they took a sounding and found 15 fathoms.
26:41
And fearing that we might run aground on the rocks, they let down four anchors from the stern and prayed for the day to come.
26:49
And as the sailors were seeking to escape from the ship, and had lowered the ship's boat into the sea under the pretense of laying out anchors from the bow,
26:59
Paul said to the centurion and the soldiers, unless these men stay in the ship, you cannot be saved. Then the soldiers cut away the ropes of the ship's boat and let it go.
27:08
And as day was about to dawn, Paul urged them all to take some food, saying, Today is the 14th day that you have continued in suspense, and without food, having taken nothing.
27:18
Therefore I urge you to take some food, for it will give you strength, for not a hair is to perish from the head of any of you.
27:26
And why does he know this? Because God has granted his prayer. And when he had said these things, he took bread, and giving thanks to God in the presence of all, he broke it and began to eat.
27:37
And they all were encouraged and ate some food themselves. We were in all, two hundred and seventy -six persons in the ship.
27:45
And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, throwing out the wheat into the sea. Now when it was day, they did not recognize the land, but they noticed a bay with a beach on it, which they planned, if possible, to run the ship ashore.
27:59
So they cast off the anchors and left them in the sea, at the same time loosening the ropes that tied the rudders, then hoisted the foresail to the wind.
28:08
They made for the beach, but striking a reef, they ran the vessel aground. The bow stuck and remained immovable, and the stern was being broken up by the surf.
28:19
The soldier's plan was to kill the prisoners, lest anyone should swim away and escape. But the centurion, wishing to save Paul, kept them from carrying out their plan.
28:27
He ordered those who could swim to jump overboard first, and make for the land, and the rest of the planks over on the pieces of the ship.
28:34
And so it was that all were brought safely to land. So I would note that if the
28:41
Apostle Paul had no authority over the weather, the guy who wrote more than half of the
28:47
New Testament, if he didn't have authority over the weather, neither do you and I. Christ does, and the fact that he has authority over the weather is the sign that he is not only the
28:57
Son of Man, but he's also the Son of God, and it led to the disciples worshiping him.
29:03
So coming back then to Kat Kerr, let's continue with her wackerdoodle theology, which is not prayer, it's not biblical, and unfortunately far too many people really believe that this woman is a woman of God, when in fact she's teaching doctrines of demons.
29:20
I know his character. No you don't. He didn't tolerate things ever, especially not sin, and I'll tell you what is wrong.
29:29
Those who belong to him, who say they love him, and yet they bash those who are trying to step out.
29:37
Yeah, bash people like her who are trying to step out and get authority over the weather and stuff.
29:43
Uh -huh. Do the greater works, okay? That is wrong, wrong, wrong. Don't tolerate those people, don't let them speak into your life.
29:52
If all they want to do is bash and criticize, repeat matters, all those things are things that God does not like.
29:58
He said, whatever is of a good report, whatever is nice, whatever is wonderful news, that is what you can say.
30:06
He doesn't want to hear doom and gloom. So apparently God doesn't want to hear doom and gloom. God is telling us the end is coming soon.
30:18
No text actually says that, and she just completely mangled a biblical text to try to make it sound like you can't say anything negative, otherwise, you know, you're upsetting
30:26
God and going contrary to his will. You know, like saying things like, Lord, there's a hurricane coming towards our home.
30:35
Please, Lord God, it's a category four. Spare us, good Lord. And apparently he doesn't want to hear that.
30:42
He wants us to do something about it. Yeah, pray, petition him urgently.
30:50
Yeah, that's something. And I am doing what he asked me to do. So I...
30:56
No, you're not. God never asked you to do any of this. Of everyone out there, even if you don't like me,
31:02
I love you anyway, the Bible says do. But please don't come here to our site, this place that God has prepared to hear revelation, be empowered, step out as a manifested son or daughter of God, help shape nations, shift governments, speak into the entertainment industry.
31:22
If you think you're tired... Yeah, notice the NAR talk here. This is seven mountain mandate nonsense. ...this, then you are gonna be tired for a long time.
31:30
Very soon, you'll see signs up in the sun and stars and moon.
31:36
Because I have five platforms to operate from, and I will do it well. One of them is teaching and training people how to be over the weather.
31:47
And yes, I'm very well aware of what the storm is doing, and I promise you we will never hide what it is doing, but we're not ever going to agree with it.
31:56
Right, whatever you do, don't agree with the storm. This is nonsense.
32:08
The storm is what the storm is, and God is the only one who has control and authority over the storms.
32:14
You should be teaching people to pray. That means even if it gets really wild, we're still not going to agree with it.
32:22
We will be right here the whole time it is out there until there is nothing left to it.
32:28
We will bash it, come against it, command it. We're going to do that, and if you are serious about doing this and that...
32:36
Yeah, a lot of good that did. Now let's kind of zoom over, shall we, to a different video of hers.
32:44
So she's taking her witch's wizard staff here and engaging in witchcraft.
32:50
She is now going to command and control Hurricane Dorian. This one's for the record. Let's take a look.
32:57
Hi everybody, Cat Curry here, welcoming all the weather warriors to join me to hit the storm out to the east.
33:06
We are here live at Atlantic Beach, Florida. As you can see, here's our ocean right here.
33:13
It's beautiful. It's actually been a very beautiful day here, and as you know, the storm has been downgraded, and it's actually sitting, waiting for direction.
33:24
We're about to give it some direction. Okay, by the way, I need to say that even though the name of our whole group is weather warriors, you don't actually fight the storm.
33:34
You rule over the storm. There's a huge difference, and so today, this is my instructions, is to hit the storm to the east and to bash it at the same time.
33:45
So we're going to do both of those things. We have the host of heaven literally are lining our entire coast right now.
33:55
Wow, they must have failed miserably. We have about a million of them lining our coast. How do
34:00
I know? They received orders from headquarters. So here I go. Ready?
34:07
Huh. You can see how beautiful it is. We actually have company right out there on the beach, but I'm going to go ahead, and this is going to...
34:16
We're standing on the east coast, literally of Florida right now. That's where we're at. This is the east coast of Florida.
34:23
The storm is probably about 400 miles down the coast, south of us. So when
34:28
I swing this, I'll be swinging it like that, symbolically, to hit the storm out to the east, because that is the east right there.
34:38
Okay. So get ready. I'll give you just a few more minutes. If you want to get something or just use your arm or your hand.
34:44
If you're on the coast of Florida, that's even better. Step outside wherever you're at right now.
34:50
Find the east. Now, I'm going to go ahead, and she's encouraging people to join her in this activity.
34:56
I'll fast forward just a little bit. Let's get to the actual witchcraft itself, shall we?
35:02
Out away from land, we declare you would do no destruction in any way. We won't tolerate it.
35:10
So Father, I thank you for this honor. I'm privileged to be here on the little coast of Florida, and we say to that storm, your end is coming.
35:32
We don't tolerate your presence. We won't tolerate you coming ashore anywhere.
35:38
Now, a little bit of a note here. Hurricanes do not have ears. They do have an eye, so the hurricane can't even hear.
35:46
You're just saying causing any harm, death or destruction. We speak on behalf of those who've already been affected by God.
35:52
We thank you for rapid recovery and restoration for all of them right now. We decree and declare you,
36:01
Dorian, your days and hours are numbered.
36:07
Yeah, they were numbered from the moment it was formed. Yes. And we bash you and we come in the house to crush you and slash the bands, shred the bands of that storm.
36:21
They're shredded, man. They're shredding, thrashing the bands and stuff because she's, you know, decreeing and declaring, which nowhere in scripture we taught to do.
36:30
One end to the other. And we declare that there'll be a good report, not a negative one.
36:36
We move fear. Yeah, well, that didn't work out. Despite her declarations, the reports were quite negative.
36:44
I think you get the idea. So yeah, brothers and sisters, if you've been taught to decree and declare, put all that away.
36:54
Scripture teaches you to pray, to ask, to petition, to urgently make requests to God, and the scriptures are clear, that God hears our prayers, we who are in Christ.
37:06
And the prayer of a righteous man avails much, not because you are righteous in and of yourself, but if you are a
37:13
Christian, you are clothed in the righteousness of Christ. So all this nonsense, I mean, this decreeing and declaring, you know, it's found in scripture at the same spot where it also teaches us to pray to the
37:24
Saints and to the Virgin Mary. Yeah, think about it. Now, if you found this helpful, all the information on how to share the video is down below.
