It depends on us a choice to believe a few basic doctrines You know

Jesus died for our sins and rose from the dead we make that choice and Even if that choice makes no change, then they say we're still eternally secure.

Or whether we'd be born into a Christian family that would take us to church or that we would read the right book the fate of God's children doesn't depend on coincidence or environment or chance or just being lucky or Even the power our power of persuasion.

God was selecting his children. It's based on God's predestining his sons and daughters

Now, why does he do that? Predestined some people hate that idea.

So we're out of a control. So what does he do it? He wants to control us. Is he a control freak? No at the end of verse 4.

Yes, our will is eventually evolved. We're not like robots. It's kind of like our puppets on the strings But the predestined doesn't happen according to our will
