Now there's one other thing, and this is where we get to Paula White and those like her. It's hard to imagine two pastors who are more different than Paula White and John MacArthur.

White has criticized MacArthur. And I have to ask you, so Pastor John MacArthur, he's come under fire in recent days for his comments about women and their role in the church.

And he told Beth, or he said that Beth Moore should go home. What are your thoughts and what's your reaction to his comments?

So I know what it is for people to make all kinds of slanderous remarks, to make all kinds of, not saying that what he says, because that's his conviction, but saying that I know what it is to have malice and lies and everything all around me.

So I pray for people. I really do. I pray for John MacArthur. I pray for that God would tender his heart.

I pray that he'd have eyes of understanding. And MacArthur has criticized White. She is a representative of all that is uncomfortable, unacceptable, and even heretical in the name of Jesus Christ.

Which one of them is right? Let's take a look at four of their teachings.

Round one. Should women like White be teaching men the way she does?

White says that God called her to the teaching ministry she now leads.

You know, God is a perfect God. And in Psalm 139, it says that he's the one that knit us in our mother's womb.

He's the one that formed us. And God obviously knew to create me as a woman. I never called myself into ministry.

God called me when I was 18 years old to preach the gospel. So I've preached the gospel.

MacArthur argues that the Bible is clear that God designed men and women to have different roles within the church and family.

But I do not allow a woman to teach or exercise authority over a man, but to remain quiet. That is so absolute.

It's unbending. No preaching, no teaching, no leading position in the church.

Round two. The prosperity gospel and law of attraction.

White teaches the prosperity gospel and that we have the power to control whether good or bad things happen in our lives.

I want you to get an image. What does your life look like in five years? What's your life look like in 10 years?

I want you to see yourself. Are you whole? Are you happy? Do you have restoration?

Are you healthy? Are you fulfilling purpose? Are you moving in all that God ordained for you to be?

Are you walking in headship and inheritance? Are you put together fully to the condition that God created you to be in the first place?

I want you to get a visual image. Can you see it right now? Can you see that? Because here's what it says.

As a man thinks, so is he at last in his actions. So in 10 years, if I don't like the condition of my life,

We have to know the true God. He teaches that we do not have the kind of power that people like Paula White say we have.

They all claim that every so -called Christian has the personal divine power to recreate life's realities into exactly what he or she wants.

It's all theirs, and you use the name of Jesus, the genie. You rub the magic lamp and Jesus the genie pops out, just waiting to be activated by the power of sovereign faith in a person to give that person what he or she wants by the power of attraction.

All this in the name of Jesus Christ. It's not just a lie. It's a lie that basically preys on those who are desperate.

Why are all these false teachers so successful? Because they're in line with Satan, who's the god of this world, prince of the power of the air, who rules in the sons of disobedience.
