The Bible says that we should not forsake our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

That's Hebrews 10 .25. It is wise to go to church because that is where we can go to hear the word of God preached and to experience the friendship of other believers.
