The Meaning of the Fourth Commandment and Six Ordinary Days

Actually, the six days of creation in Genesis are just allegorical.

What do you believe God meant to tell the Israelites when he wrote the fourth commandment? Which states, for in six days God created the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that's in them. And on the seventh day, he rested.

Do you think that he meant six days and then six days?

Well, in that verse, six ordinary days, obviously.

Then I don't know why I should believe any differently.

Even if he created everything in six ordinary days, you don't honestly believe humans evolved only thousands of years ago. Humans likely evolved over 100 ,000 years ago.

Well, Luke 3 lists over 70 generations between Christ and Adam. And then that's also seen in Genesis 5 and 10, so that's about 4 ,000 years between Christ and Adam, Adam being the first man formed out of dust.
