Hello everybody my name is Kelly and I'm Mackenzie and we're here today to tell you a little story about GotQuestions .org

and our college experience. Yeah so entering college there's a lot that's thrown at you.

You have tons of freedom and that comes with a lot of temptation. And not only were we students but we were also college athletes.

So we were both on the lacrosse team together which made it even harder because every stereotype you hear about college athletes and parties, drugs, boys, all of that is totally true and that means that there's a lot of temptations to deal with on a day -to -day basis.

Yeah and like being part of a team like you want to be included and you want to fit in you know you're not in high school anymore you don't have your mom and daddy to like babysit you anymore so when your teammates go out and party and you want to go with them but at the same time you can feel that God is saying hey this is not a good idea.

It's it's really an internal battle. And having a friend on the team that shared those same morals, the same foundation, the same background as me was really really helpful but it wasn't the only resource that we had to keep ourselves out of trouble.

Yeah so when we were struggling with that you know you can just pick up the Bible but for me sometimes it's kind of hard to pinpoint which scriptures are telling me what to do, what's right and what's not.

So gotquestions .org is a really great resource. It's a great place to find out what the

Bible says about alcohol, you know sex, drugs, temptation, how to fight off what the devil is throwing at you every day.

And we just wanted to let you know that it's out there. It's a good resource. We coach high school kids now so we know there's temptations all over the place that affect people every day and we just want to let you know that you guys can make it through.
