In Christ Alone

In Christ alone, my hope is found.

He is my light, my strength, my song. This cornerstone, this solid ground, formed through the fiercest drought and storm.

But Christ alone, my depth of peace, when fears are stilled, when strivings cease.

My comforter, my all in all, here in the love of Christ I stand.

In Christ alone,

His work on earth, fullness of God in helpless faith.

His gift of love and righteousness, scored by the ones

He came to save. Till on the cross, as Jesus died, the wrath of God was satisfied.

Through every sin, through ever's pain, here in the depth of God we lay.

Pride of the world by darkness slain, then bursting forth,

He poured His name. Up from the grave He rose again, and as He stands,

His curse and wrongs His grip on me. For I am

His, and He is God with the precious blood of Christ.

This is the power of Christ in me,

Jesus commands my death. No sin of death can ever present itself.
