A monsoon storm hit Phoenix on Thursday evening, August 28th. The main brunt of the storm hit central Phoenix with winds in excess of 85 mph, toppling trees, power-lines, and causing flooding as well. I had never seen such an electrically active storm in my 34 years in Phoenix. Here is what it looked like as it was passing by just to the south of my home.
