T .D. Jakes, Todd Bentley, and Joni Lamb of Daystar TV have all been much in the news in the last couple of days.

How should we pray for them? Welcome to the program, ladies and gentlemen.

Yes, some very well -known names in the evangelical world have been much in the news in the past few days for different reasons.

Now, both T .D. Jakes and Todd Bentley have been in the news because of health concerns.

Within about a 24 -hour period of one another, both of them had some major health scares.

Todd Bentley was rushed to the hospital, as was T .D. Jakes. In fact,

T .D. Jakes was preaching, and right at the end of his sermon, he appeared to have had a stroke right there in front of everyone, and he is in the hospital.

Todd Bentley is, as of this recording, as best I can tell, is in the hospital.

I'm recording this on the evening of November 25th, but apparently, they are both doing better.

I just watched a video on T .D. Jakes' Twitter feed or whatever, and he is still in the hospital, but he is doing better and apparently strong enough to stand up.

Todd Bentley is also still in the hospital, but he is likewise doing better.

In fact, I'll read this to you. He says that he expects to spend Thanksgiving with his family, so apparently, he expects to be out of the hospital here pretty shortly, and he's also improved enough to ask for money.

Let me show you this. This is an excerpt from a tweet that he put up, and he said,

Todd Bentley is one of the darkest, most deranged of the false teachers out there.

This is a man, if you're unfamiliar with him, who has claimed, among other things, that God told him to kick an elderly woman in the face with his biker boot,

I kid you not, and has also kicked and punched a number of people. I myself saw him do this in person.

He kicked a man with stage four stomach cancer, colon, I think it was colon cancer, kicked him in the gut, no less.

Todd Bentley is, if there's anybody darker than Kenneth Copeland, it would be

Todd Bentley. I really, without any hyperbole, believe that Todd Bentley is demon possessed.

I believe Kenneth Copeland is too, but Todd Bentley certainly is. He's truly just a wicked, vile human being.

T .D. Jakes is, among other things, aside from being wildly charismatic, word of faith, prosperity gospel, he is also a modalist.

He denies the Trinity, that is on his website. He believes in one

God and three manifestations. That's not the same thing as three persons. That's modalistic language, so that alone puts him outside of Christianity.

So, these false teachers are improving physically, it appears.

Now, Joni Lamb. Joni Lamb has been much in the news in the last few days for very different reasons.

Joni Lamb is the president of Daystar. Daystar, last

I checked, was second only to TBN in the largest Christian television broadcasting company out there.

It may even be as big or bigger than TBN now, but it is huge. Joni Lamb has been in the news because, long story, if you're not familiar with the story,

Google it, it'll be one of the first things to come up. But basically, one of Joni's sons,

Jonathan Lamb, who's married to a lady named Susie, they have, I don't know how many children they have right now, but apparently several years ago, one of their children, a daughter of theirs, it is alleged that she was molested, sexually molested by a man who has not been named, but so far they've been calling him quote -unquote

Pete. So anyway, there's this big scandal, huge, massive scandal right now at Daystar.

Again, I'm not going to go into all of it. But initially, when Jonathan and his wife

Susie came out and made these allegations that the abuse of their daughter was covered up by Joni Lamb in Daystar to protect the network.

And so there's this huge scandal right now, and Joni is saying no, that it's not true. And just a couple of hours ago, as of this recording, apparently

Joni Lamb put this statement up, and it's rather interesting.

I'll just read this to you here. Now, she has been saying that this scandal is a result of Jonathan Lamb wanting to be president of Daystar, but he was fired from Daystar because he apparently didn't meet performance objectives or whatever.

But Joni Lamb is saying that, and mind you, this is her son. She's saying that, no, this was that all of this is a lie.

I never tried to cover up anything. This is all their smears and lies.

And it's because Jonathan wanted to be the president of Daystar, but he's not going to be because his late father,

Marcus Lamb, willed it that Joni would be the president, not Jonathan.

And so there's this big stink. Well, Joni just put this up. And if this is to be trusted, this is from her official account.

And this is a quote from an email from Jonathan Lamb to his mother,

Joni Lamb. And he says, quote, We remain willing to put this episode behind us, referring to the alleged abuse, sexual abuse of his daughter.

However, we also require security, transparency and certainty about our futures at Daystar. To achieve this goal, we would suggest that Joni, Daystar and ourselves enter into a new contract that clearly spells out my future role as president of Daystar, restricts the ability of Joni or any other officer or director from taking actions adverse to our employment without good cause to be clearly defined and without prior approval of a majority of the board of directors.

In exchange for the agreement contemplated above, we will agree not to use, disseminate or otherwise publish any and all audio recordings that could be harmful or embarrassing to Daystar, Joni or our family.

The first to plead his case seems right until another comes along and examines him. So what is going on at Daystar?

I don't know. You know, I don't know who is lying, who is telling the truth. My guess is everybody there.

There's probably elements of truth and there are lies on everybody's part. So who knows what the real situation is there?

I will say this. I don't care whether it's this situation or any other situation in my book.

If you do something to a kid, you should never see the light of day again, ever.

And I mean that literally. So who knows what happened?

Dear friends, all of these people are false teachers. Daystar platforms and promotes some of the most egregious false teachers around today, and they do so proudly.

Daystar, along with TBN, is the tip of the spear of the Word of Faith movement,

Word of Faith theology, health and wealth, prosperity, gospel. Daystar platforms some of the worst of the worst.

Sid Roth, who is absolutely loony tunes. Joel Osteen, who compromises on the exclusivity of Christ.

Hank Kuhneman, who's a comically false prophet, just been proven over and over and over.

Paula White, who is again one of the worst of the worst. Creflo Dollar, Kenneth Copeland.

Kenneth Copeland, along with Todd Bentley, as I said a few moments ago, Kenneth Copeland is one of the darkest heretics ever to disgrace the name of Christ.

If Kenneth Copeland is not a false teacher, no one is. The term has absolutely no meaning.

So Daystar, despite their claim of spreading the gospel of Jesus, what they're spreading is the teaching of false teachers, heretics, proven false prophets, shysters, charlatans, hucksters, who fleece people, prey upon the poor and the sick and the desperate and the widows.

You might have noticed that I said that Joanie Lamb's first husband,

Marcus Lamb, died. He did indeed die back in 2021. And I remember when he died, because this is when

COVID was raging and all that. And Marcus Lamb died in November of 2021.

Just a few months before he died, he was doing a share -a -thon, is what they call it.

This is their big fundraiser that they do for Daystar. And Marcus Lamb, I've got the videos,

Marcus Lamb was shilling for money and promising people that if they would give their money to Daystar, support the

Daystar network, that God would protect them from COVID. He promised them, sow a seed into Daystar and God will protect you from COVID.

And then just a few months later, Marcus Lamb died from COVID.

And he didn't just die with COVID. He actually died from COVID. God is not mocked.

So how do we deal with and or pray for false teachers?

Well, I want to bring a few verses to your attention here that will help us. 2

John 9 -11 Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teachings of Christ does not have

God. The one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.

If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house and do not give him a greeting.

For the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds. As I said,

Daystar platforms and promotes some of the most egregious heretics and false prophets, and they absolutely do give them a greeting.

And so they are participating in their evil deeds. They are promoting and forwarding theological poison that is making shipwreck of people's souls.

Romans 16 -17 Apostle Paul says, Now I urge you, brothers, to keep your eye on those who cause dissensions and stumblings contrary to the teaching which you learned, and turn away from them.

So Paul says regarding false teachers, keep your eye, mark them. Mark those who cause divisions and hindrances contrary to the teaching, to the doctrine which you learned, and stay away from them.

False teachers are not to be coddled. They are not to be endorsed. They are not to be promoted. They are not to be platformed.

They are to be marked and avoided. And finally, the clearest verse as to how we should pray for false teachers.

2 Timothy 2 Beginning in verse 24 And the Lord's slave must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps

God may give them repentance leading to the full knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.

So how do we pray for false teachers? We should pray for their repentance.

And I do. I pray, not every day, but I do pray for the repentance of people like Benny Hinn and Kenneth Copeland and Sid Roth and all these others.

I would love nothing more than to see these men and women, Paula White, Joyce Meyer, and all these, come to a place of true repentance and faith in Christ.

And I don't want them to go to hell. I don't want that for them. That is where they are headed.

But I do not want that for them. I want them to be saved. And so am

I praying that God would physically heal T .D.

Jakes or Todd Bentley? Not specifically. I'm praying that God would have mercy on them, that he would grant them faith and repentance in Christ.

That's what I'm praying for. And I'm also praying that barring their repentance, that God would bring an end to their ministries.

And that includes Daystar. And that includes TBN. Because they are promoting heresy.

They are preaching a false gospel. And they are platforming dozens of charlatans that pray upon the poor and the sick and the desperate and the widows.

They are bringing untold reproach upon the name of Christ. They are regularly, daily, many, many, many, many times each and every day, putting words in God's mouth that he did not say.

And that is something that God takes extraordinarily seriously. So barring their repentance,

I am praying for the end of their so -called ministries needs to come to an end.

T .D. Jakes and Todd Bentley and Joni Lamb and Jonathan Lamb.

If you've ever seen Jonathan Lamb, he comes across as a nice guy.

But he wants to be the president of Daystar, which promotes heresy. So I want all of their ministries to come to an end.

Because none of them are qualified to be doing what they are doing. If they are not actively teaching heresy themselves,

I don't think Jonathan Lamb does a whole lot of preaching. They are promoting people who do. So it needs to come to an end.

So that is how, as Christians, we should be praying for them. Praying for their repentance, that they don't die and go to hell.

And barring their repentance, praying that their ministries would come to an end. Would I like to see Daystar shut down?

Absolutely, I would. Would I like to see TBN shut down? 100 % I would. Yes, because it is a platform for heresy.

They have some shows that are not word of faith. But the bread and butter of what they promote to people day in and day out.

90 plus percent of what you see on TBN and Daystar is teaching that comes straight from heretics and proven false prophets.

So yes, I want to see that come to an end. So that is how we should pray for them.

Speaking of which, if one of the false teachers happens to watch this, the true gospel is this, is that you are a sinner.

You have broken the laws of God. You are a liar, a thief, a blasphemer. You have taken

God's name and word and deed. You are an adulterer at heart, at least. Just like when we break laws on earth, there's a penalty to be paid.

How much more so when we break the laws of God. But because we have sinned against God, who is eternal, the punishment of that sin is also eternal.

And if you die in your sin, you will very rightly and very justly go to a very real place that the

Bible calls hell. There will be no relief. The full undiluted fury of God's wrath will be poured out day and night for all of eternity, and it will never end.

The smoke of the torment of those who are in hell will go up before God forever and ever, day and night.

It will never end. You have sinned against an infinite God, and the punishment of that is also infinite.

And your works will not save you. In the very fact that you have either been teaching heresy and giving myriads of false prophecies or promoting those who do, and in so doing, you participate in their evil deeds.

That shows that you are not regenerate, because if you were regenerate, the

Holy Spirit of God would convict you over this sin. And there is no conviction, quite clearly.

So your works will not save you. Your works have only condemned you. But God sent a way, made a way for you to escape his wrath, and he sent his son,

Jesus Christ, to this earth. Jesus, the God -man, one person, two distinct natures, truly

God, truly man, willingly gave his life on the cross. His life was not taken.

He gave it. And on the cross, the sins of his people were imputed to him, were counted to him, and God treated,

God the Father, treated his own son as though he were a sinner, even though he was not.

But the gaze of God's wrath was focused upon Christ, and the wrath of God crashed down upon him, and Jesus, being an infinite and perfect person, fully drank in this infinite and perfect wrath from God the

Father, died on the cross, propitiated his wrath, turned the wrath of God away, satisfied

God's wrath, died on the cross, and on the third day, bodily raised from the dead, proving himself to be who he said he was,

God in human flesh. And if you will repent of your sin, turn from sin, and place your faith and trust in Christ, in what he accomplished on the cross, he will save you.

And the evidence of this change, if God saves you, he will give you a new heart with new desires and new affections.

And the evidence of this will be borne out in that you will repent, and the fruit of your repentance will look like you shutting down your ministries.

Whether you're T .D. Jakes, or Todd Bentley, or whoever, or Joni Lamb, or Jonathan Lamb, whatever.

Shutting your ministries down. You're not qualified to be in ministry. You're not qualified to be a preacher.

You'll shut it all down, sell everything, find a good doctrinally sound church led by biblically qualified men, elders, and you will no longer be behind the pulpit or behind the

TV or in front of the TV camera. You'll be in front of the pulpit and away from any

TV camera, but you'll be in the pew learning. And I want that for you.
