So you're gonna get a I don't know. This will be this will be a weird episode. I apologize up front If it goes a little sideways, but yeah, just got back From Tawas, Michigan. What is that about an hour and a half South of Alpena, I mean, it's technically northern, Michigan.

It's past mid, Michigan. So I did a little camping trip with some other families had an absolutely great time. Hold on here, let's let's look here and see. Yeah, so about four hours north of where I'm from went in the camper with the kids and the wife.

We got some swimming in had a couple rainy days, but not that big of a deal it was. I Don't know. It was good weather. It's starting to turn right now in August. You know, it's starting to get to those kind of like 71 72 degree days and like high 50s at night.

It's just cool and crisp it was a good time, but we're back in studio don't have a Guest for you this week, but I did want to talk to you about a few things first of all, shout out to Gentlemen who bought six winem dinem rumens nine of mugs and you know, I was looking on my phone here I can't find your name.

So John if you're listening shoot me a message on socials or heck you can text me First link in the description below on this episode and let me know what you're gonna do with five of those mugs.

I thought it was cool. But yeah, I got back from camping got a interview with a gentleman who You guys have heard his name before he's been on the podcast before we're doing that tomorrow. That's. Well, no, it's Thursday.

So that'll be released next week with Mr. Doug Wilson, we're gonna be talking about is the Constitution dead. So be looking out for that next week. It's the questions that we're going over and what we're talking about.

Very very interesting in my opinion. How is we have as believers? How do we look at the Constitution? How do we compare it to the New Covenant? Like what do we take away from it? Should we blow the whole thing up and start over?

Is it actually functionally dead, you know? Conservatives have been saying that for a long time federal government's too big. So we're gonna get up go all over that. It's probably gonna get a little more civics.

There'll be some Bible in there. There'll be maybe a little politics in there, but it should be a good episode with Doug Wilson. Look for that next week, but this week you got me you got Greg and I just wanted to mention something to you guys.

Because we're not gonna make this a long episode. But I saw this on the internet and I just it just irked me. It just really bugs me. Who's with Kamala Harris? Someone posted a Picture and they'd mashed up all of the titles of some of these Media news outlets now.

We know there's bias in the media. We know that if there's a liberal bias, but I mean it is I don't think I've ever seen it quite as bad as it is right now. With Kamala Harris, I mean just the fact that you know, the current president Biden gets forced out has to step down she just assumes kind of command and They act like, you know.

They didn't the Democrats their own party kind of just forces someone on them who didn't win a single delegate vote in the primary. It's just crazy. Excuse me. You're gonna be dealing with my coughs today, too.

And you know the party of Supposedly saving democracy doesn't even allow their own delegates to have democracy, but We've seen some some really coordinated Kind of media bias in the last couple weeks with Kamala Kamala Kamala, whatever Kamala.

I think it is and What's what's crazy is you can tell they all get in a room like okay. What word are we gonna use this week or what? What are we gonna you know? What word can we put out to the to the mass media that they can keep repeating and a few weeks ago?

It was weird, right? They kept using the word weird with JD Vance weird. He's weird. He's weird and You know This laughable coming from a party who thinks it's totally fine to care from limb from limb the preborn babies in the womb to lop off the breasts of 12 year old girls because they think they're boys.

Who allow grown men fully bearded fully men? Into women's bathrooms to gawk and look and sexually harass small small children and young women but The party of Trump is the weird ones, right? So that was the messaging that they wanted to get out with that he's weird weird weird and it's gonna go to a bigger point that I'm gonna make during this episode of how Progressives and leftists and the Democrats as a whole now because the party has been co-opted by the far left.

Long gone are the days of the moderate moderate Democrats I mean long gone and especially the JFK Democrats like JFK would have been a pretty conservative Republican by his policy standards.

But.

They have to deflect and then they have to imitate and at the top of the show I said why do why does the left have to imitate Christians. Because. They do. And I'm gonna go through here and show you a few things, but I want to read you this.

Here are some titles. Because their word is joy that that they wanted to get out right in the New York Times. It's all about Kamala and her campaign. The New York Times says Harris use used to worry about laughing.

Now joy is fueling her campaign. Vanity Fair sweet emotion. How the Harris walls ticket we wields joy against Donald Trump. Salon .com bringing back the joy. Kamala Harris rally. Kamala Harris's rally blows away J .D. Vance's weird appearance across town.

The Washington Post Harrison wall sees on joyful message in contrast to darker Trump themes. Rolling stone. Why Kamala Harris's new politic of joy is the best way to fight fascism. Vanity Fair. Kamala Harris needs to knock Trump in her DNC.

Kamala Harris needs to knock Trump in her DNC speech without popping the joy balloon. The AP Harris is pushing joy. Trump paints a darker picture. Will mismatch moods matter. Then it goes on and on New York Times opinion.

Harris Walsh and Democrats joyful campaign. Alex Wagner at CBS on watching Kamala Harris embrace her own joy while Trump fails to define her. So what's going on here? First of all, we know there's a coordinated.

Effort.

Publicists do this. Media watchdogs Do this. Campaign. Managers and groups do this. They get focused on a word. They say that's what we're gonna push. Non-stop to all of our outlets to all of our media to our socials.

We're just gonna keep talking about it. Bullet points bullet points bullet points talking points talking points talking points. And this week It was joy and I went. How? How odd that the far left? baby murdering young-girl mutilating sexual assault supporting Democrats would preach joy to the majority of their delegates and constituents and voters and ultimately to the rest of the American citizens.

Why pick that word. And in here's here's the reason why. Because Satan and through the depraved flesh of fallen man has to must imitate. What is good? Because there is no goodness in him and goodness is of is of God.

The Bible says Righteousness is of God and that is the reality that our Creator has created. Thus anything outside of that is a non-reality.

So.

Goodness connects with people even if they're unbelievers. Because they can relate to the reality in which they live in so much as. You don't have to profess Christ with your mouth.

To.

Understand the benefits of Christ's creation. Does that make sense? So even the non-believer Excuse me lives in the creation of God lives in the common graces of that creation. They could be shaking their fists.

In fact Every single one of us that were born of the womb We're shaking our fists at God when we came out in sin nature.

So.

What the left has to do is they have to take not happy because we know happy is worldly. They have to take joy. Joy is a deep insatiable principle of God there's joy in Christ. There's joy in God there's there can be joy in one another through Christ and they have to take it and they have to twist it much like Satan through the depraved flesh of man twist scripture and twist the principles and twist the characters of God.

This is what the DNC has to do. For their voters they have to say oh are the majority of Democratic voters suffering from mental illness and trans issues and postpartum and depression from the abortions and Economic issues for the policies that they hey, hey, don't look at that.

We have joy now. It's a false joy. It's fake. It's not real. It's a lie.

But.

The the secular says culture has to imitate Godly things just for them to remain sane and They do this all the time because secularism is is nothing without God. Meaning they have nothing they have even the.

Even the so-called logic that they use and the arguments that they use are based in godly principles. Within his creation within the reality that he created this goes back a little bit to presuppositional ism as well, too.

You have to presuppose that There is a God and we're in his creation and everything in it. We wouldn't be able to reason wouldn't be able to to have logic without God. And there's no hope apart from God so when there's no hope you have to.

That's why I think about Obama back in 08 and 16 hope was they use these Key words that they're a vacuum the Democratic Party has no hope. The liberal or the progressive or the leftist has no hope. No joy I mean is just such a dark bleak future that that like robots.

They have to just keep repeating these words to themselves and to their voters. There's hope. There's hope. There's hope. There's joy. There's joy. There's joy. No, absolutely not. Yeah, I mean Ephesians 2 12 says this remember that you were at that time separated from Christ alienated from the Commonwealth of Israel and Strangers to the covenants of the promise having no hope without Christ.

We have no hope. That's why when you have a Christless party when you have Christless policies when you have Christless laws. You have to trick people into thinking there is hope by saying oh, no. No, we're joyful.

We're nice. We're laughing. We're happy. We're joyful now. I don't think in those headlines that I read you that they're using the biblical term of joyful, but how how Peculiar is it that probably the farthest left candidate that we have ever seen in Kamala and in the Joe Biden kind of Administration is using the word joy.

They don't use happy. They don't use upbeat. They don't use you know, she she's staying positive. They particularly use the word joy, which for the last thousand years Joy has been associated mostly with Christianity happiness with the pagans and secular and hedonists.

Joy.

With Christians, right joy to the world. So what they have to do is they have to rebrand in a way that mimics God in his principles in his character. I mean you see this you've seen this in all kinds of things.

I mean just look at the fact that you have a whole Game movement that has stolen the Noahic Covenant the symbol of the Noahic Covenant the rainbow. Here you have a symbol of mercy, right? I think it was.

What is it Genesis 9? 13 through 16 says this I have set my rainbow in the clouds and it will be a sign of the covenant between me and The earth whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind never again.

Will the waters become a flood to destroy all life whenever that rainbow appears in the clouds? I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth so a covenant of Absolute mercy.

God saying I will remember that you will never have to face that type of destruction again. Even though your sin I might argue Would become even more rampant and more plentiful as time goes on so they take a rainbow of what's mercy and They have to rebrand it because what really?

The the whole homosexual and trans and gay and lesbian movement is wrath and Prideful it's stolen mercy. They take something that is Disgusting to God that is sinful that is lawlessness that is unrighteousness and they have to co-op a sign of mercy over it and Then what's really crazy and very common as I'll show you is they'll double speak it, right?

Which look at we're all or you know. You should be a fan of or well or well Ian novels. But the Bible said it well before he did in in the in that age evil will be called good and good will be called Evil.

I mean we have to completely flip-flop it so you see in the LGBTQ Whatever all the letters in that movement. They co-op a rainbow, which is a covenant of mercy. But bridal underneath that and right next to it a pride pride pride be proud of yourself pride pride pride of your lifestyle, right?

Which we all know pride is the great sin. It is the it is the yeast it is the I mean it's it's what all sins lead back to and Honestly, it was why the earth was destroyed in the first place because of pride so you go.

How can you have these two contrasting things? Right next to each other a symbol of mercy co-opted in pride was because they have to hide it. They know and when I say they I'm saying every leftist every progressive every atheist every secularist every pagan.

And those Democrats that subscribe to that. There might be a few Democrats out there that are still like moderate Democrats I guess you could say and they're just like, you know, well, I'm I'm for like social welfare.

But they could be conservative lease or socially conservative on other issues. I haven't met him In the last five years. They've all gone far left and if they are Out there, they don't speak up against their party.

They don't speak up against their party going so far left that You know here in Michigan we passed a constitutional amendment that says you can murder your baby up to the second of birth. You know nine months old the second away from being born kill it don't want it here in Michigan the Democrats pushed through and the people voted for constitutional amendment in Prop 2 that says Hey, if your kid wants to transition Just go to a public school.

Tell the teacher teacher can even sign them up for a sex change. Operation doesn't have to tell the parents kid can be 10 11 12. Don't tell the parents you have no parental rights. That is a constitutional amendment in Michigan.

These are the times we're living in. This is the Democratic Party. So they absolutely have to co-op the covenant sign of mercy. They absolutely have to co-op. The word joy and make you feel as if this is this happiness this joy this positivity is real and The future is bright because it is a dismal.

Dark black.

Sinful lawless future for the progressives. And what they've laid out. I mean you just look at here let's let's read Galatians 5 22 and 23 as I finish up here because this is this is really going to. Open your eyes to what I'm trying to say.

Yeah, Galatians 5 22. You guys probably already know where I'm going with it. Fruits of the Spirit. Just listen to some of these words. Listen to some of these words in the fruits of spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love.

Joy.

Peace.

Patience kindness goodness. Faithfulness gentleness self-control, right? The Bible's listing these off thousands and thousands of years ago. Yet the liberals the secularists the leftists. They've tried to co-op almost all of those fruits of the Spirit all of those words.

Think about it. What do they talk about for mental health? Well, you just need to have peace. They need peace of mind. We have a mental health issue. You know if a young girl thinks she's a boy then she needs to go through that transition.

So you have peace inner peace with herself. They've tried to co-op the word peace. Love, please. They caught that 20 years ago. Love is love. Who are you to say who I love and who I can't love right?

They've totally co-opted love joy. I just read 15 headlines. Well Kamala is all about joy. They're co-opting that.

Kindness.

How many t-shirts I see on the west coast of Michigan that have the rainbow colors and just say kindness on them? Because that's what they think kindness is. Kindness is allowing people to continue in Rebellion of God in their sin to their death to hell.

That's what they think kindness is. And they've co-opted that word because they have to label that because they don't want to go. Hey, you're you're grotesque disgusting. Lawlessness unrighteousness rebellion against God.

Needs to stop. Because God is holy and calls us to holiness. They can't tell you that. Even though I would say the upper echelon the elites of the secular movement on totally understand that we're without excuse.

Roman says you can look at nature and know that there's a creator and that he has a moral standard but They have to co-op that. And that's the Oh No kindness kindness. That's what you know, just let your neighbor do what they want and the privacy of their own home and that's kindness.

Well, we've seen the progression. I'm 42. Oh, no, I'm I 43. I just had a birthday last month. I'm 43. All right. The older I get the more I start to sound older like I remember when right for all you 18 19 20 20 something's out there.

You.

You probably haven't seen the progression that I have just like I haven't seen the progression that my 70 year old father has that my 90 year old great-grandfather has. Right like. Like time is a common grace of God that that gives even the non-believer some wisdom and some discernment.

Just because you've experienced things and we've seen. How I've seen personally how fast this goes right? Hey, man. Government should stay out of marriages or should stay out of the bedroom. Just whatever they do in private right between and and a lot of conservatives were like well.

Okay, we still believe in traditional marriage man and a woman one man one woman, but. If they're doing that in the privacy of the home, I don't have to see it I don't have to look at whatever that's between them and God.

Right. That was big in the 90s. So in 30 years we went from that.

To.

We demand to have marriage license and certificates. We demand to have Cakes baked for us and and to be recognized. We demand to be in the fair housing Rules and laws and civil rights a civil right meaning a right you're born with right, although we have no way of Proving that people are born Gay or lesbian, right?

All the way to and by the way, we're also going to have Parties in the nude on your public streets for pride parades to now drag shows and you know drags Drags drag queen story hours to transition closets in California to We get to chop off your child's genitals without you knowing parent.

So that's where we've come in 30 years.

From.

1994 in the early 90s to early 2020s, that's that's where we come. Is that 30 years? Yeah.

So.

The kindness the kindness patch has to be Has to be slapped on the bucket I'm thinking of like the Billy Mays Where he would take where the bucket has water coming out of and he slaps that patch on it to stop it.

I mean, they've got to do something. It is a dismal future for the leftist for the Democrat and They have to mimic Christianity. Because that's the only thing that will keep them those people saying they have to mimic some type of goodness.

Because they're so evil and please remember Satan does not come as a you know arrow-tailed pitchfork devil. With horns in a red cape. Sorry, that's 1950s Hollywood. Excuse me, and that's just how he comes he comes as an angel of light.

He comes as almost right. That's why discernment is so important in the Bible. Satan will come to you will use your flesh To deceive you into believing the almost right thing. And I've said it on this podcast many times.

I'll say it again Charles Spurgeon one of my favorite quotes. Discernment is not knowing right from wrong. Discernment is doing right from almost right any idiot can know right from wrong. The Lord's written that moral code on her heart.

We know what's wrong to murder. We know it's wrong to steal Down deep down in our hearts. However, you want to phrase it, right? I'm probably but during the theological phrasing of that but written on seared into our conscious right and almost right is where discernment lies and You can see them just co-opting the fruits of the spirits really co-opted joy.

They've co-opted the covenant of mercy through the Noahic Covenant. They've co-opted most of the fruits. Goodness, right? It's all good. Just be good. That's a it's a phrase that was coming out of the far left.

Just be just be good to one another. Can we be good and you go. Wow. Satan knows how to take stuff right out of the Bible twist it.

Slap.

Slap it on a group of depraved.

Wretched.

Sinners and then really try to sell it To some more wretched depraved sinners and I would say people who have a head knowledge of Christ and sit in church every week but still have no true heart of flesh and.

They lap it up and we've seen this we're seeing it happen over the last 30 years. In denominations. You go to liberal Presbyterian Church liberal Methodist Church. Well liberal Methodist. I guess I that's redundant.

I digress. You have lip. I mean obviously the non-denominational in evangelicalism is Has the woke stuff coming to. It is very liberal.

But.

This is something we have to watch out for. So what do we do as Christians we stand on the Word of God? We do not let any political party and I've highlighted the Democrats here because this is the the picture I saw of them.

I just thought it was so interesting that they just keep hammering joy. But we stand up the Word of God we meditate on the Word of God. We Study the Word of God. We understand what it says. We read it in context.

We have good hermeneutic. We don't take things out of context. We pray for discernment every single morning and every single night. We read our proverb every single day. 31 Proverbs 31 days in a month.

We make sure that we meditate on wisdom and discernment and in some cases We say Lord. Let me know the difference between right and almost right. That we seek truth. We preach the gospel obviously. We stand against lawlessness.

Which the man of lawlessness? I mean we are living in it right now. We're living in lawlessness. I fear for a short time, but we'll get a little worse. Because we have to hit some type of wall. To where there's complete lawlessness right now.

There's constitutional lawlessness there's moral lawlessness, but there is going to be kind of a a physical lawlessness a breakdown of borders a It has to be coming. That's the only thing short of Christ showing up and restoring all things new.

That's just where I see it going and I'm not saying that. You know. You know, geez what a downer of a podcast this is not saying that to Be negative. I'm saying that as a loving warning. We stay vigilant.

We.
