I'd like for you to turn to Genesis 2 verse 5, please

Genesis 2 verse 5 And Greg, will you read that verse to me, please?

It is by this verse. I didn't mention this when we were going through But it is by this verse

That we know that the Lord made everything in its mature state. I Know I asked the question.

How old would the tree have been if you had cut it down and counted the rings?

That's right. It was full -grown now Based upon this verse how old was the first rock?

How old was the first Whatever It just stands to reason

That the Lord made everything rocks and all in a very mature state

So if we go back and look at everything We would miscalculate

The Carbon dating system that Several years ago come into effect

Cannot go any further back than the flood Because it depends upon direct sunlight and there was none and There was not a man to till the ground

He that means that he made everything Then he put man in it

There wasn't man here to till the ground with a young plant with To get things to grow they were all grown when he put them here

God prepared the earth and everything the whole cosmos

Then he made man So he had everything ready everything in the mature state

Then he put man in it to take care of it Now Are there any other questions about that?

The evolutionists are Not true science now true science supports the

Bible But there that's little known true science

But they're way off and I think that God made it that way So they could not pinpoint when it come into existence

Now I asked you last week to come with a list of things That Noah saw for the first time

And I want to hear some things now Joy Joy You've had a whole week to think about this and I know you thought of nothing else

But name for me one thing All right.

I had that at the head of my list now Paul I want you to move up here by your grandfather.

Now Paul what does it take to cause us to see a rainbow

Sunshine It takes a clear sky As well as a stormy sky

Noah could not see a rainbow while he was on the ark Because it was a storm

Everything clouds were every place and the wrong rainbow didn't shine But it did when he came out of the ark

Paul Paul what was another thing that Noah saw?

Mountains there hadn't been mountains until the flood

The terrain was smooth The ocean was at a depth

I don't know how deep but not as it is now Greg why why did the mountains come into being at this time?

Well, there were rivers to begin with the canopy collapsed

And all of that water Fell on the earth now if the earth had remained smooth it would have been a ball of water

But by Gouging out the earth and raising the mountains the water had a place to go

Now what was another thing that Noah saw either on the ark or immediately after The All right the wind

He had never felt wind like this. It was tremendous

And what caused the wind other than God what? Greg what caused the wind to blow?

All right Lightning thunder

He He had never seen lightning before but he saw it while he was on the ark.

I'm sure and he heard the thunder So many times we hear people say don't get struck by thunder

How is that possible? He could see up yes

While we're there, why was it necessary that he could see up and not down David?

Yes Well, he could have seen out and down If it'd been a window so that he could but he couldn't

All right David what's another thing that he saw for the first time? beg your pardon

Hold the sky. All right. He had never seen it before The blue sky and clouds

It was there but they couldn't see it They couldn't now

There was a canopy of water all around and the sunlight filtered through that water.

Well the moonlight did too So Sun and Moon were out there All right, they saw the absence of this pink glow that was every place

What about the seasons? There had never been seasons before Now, what do

I mean by season Greg? Yes but Snow freezing hot cold

Why did all of this come about Paul Well, that's true.

But that wasn't the main reason that caused the seasons Greg The earth tilted twenty two and a half degrees which created the

North Pole and the South Pole ice caps Didn't create the North and South Pole, but it did the ice that was all over and it gave us our seasons

What about the fear of animals David? Yes These are a few things

Yes No was now able to eat meat he hadn't before the animals had not before Why did all of this come about David?

The earth would not produce as it had prior to the flood now

I Want to go back for today's lesson And I want you to start at the beginning and let's review

From the beginning Now in the beginning was

God God was He existed prior to all of this and he spoke all of this into a created form

We say created but he did only one act of creating and that's when he spoke the mass

So we have a very logical Process Progression if you please of his

Bringing everything in its time Out into the open

After the creation and we go through all the steps of creating including man

What was the next great thing with man David Mm -hmm

No, we've left the flood We've gone back to the first of Genesis and I want to go through the steps up to the ninth chapter

We're starting Genesis 1 After man came into being and the woman and The woman was a descendant of Adam What was the next great step?

David Yes All right

Yes It was a trip a stumble a a falling away a turning their back on God Do you understand that term?

They literally turned their back on God Now in turning their back

The Bible doesn't say that but it implies that Because they no longer look for him.

They look for something else In turning their back on God, do you see how our time has been running backwards?

We think it's running forward all of the time it's progressively getting later and later in life

Closer and closer to death But In reality the clocks running backwards and we think it's forward

Turning their back on God Caused everything to decay

Paul Everything was dying when when

Adam and Eve Hid themselves from the Lord How did they know to hide?

It was because of shame Greg, how did they know shame? Consequence of sin so sin comes into the world and from the beginning

The Lord pointed out the two seeds That were would come into the world

Before there was ever a child born. There was the law established that there would be some of them

That would be saved and some would not be saved Now we've got the garden behind us

Greg, what's the next step? No, the garden is behind us

No After the garden didn't they have to be driven out? So they were driven out joy, what does it mean they were driven out?

He literally Put them out of the garden Because they could not remain

David. Why couldn't they remain in the garden? And God would not permit that So it was the mercy of God That drove them out of the garden

They are going to have to work for their food The Bible literally says by the bridge of your nose you will sweat from work and That's heavy work

Now the next great event What do we see joy? After they were put out of the garden

All right, she conceived and bear She bare two sons

Twins Who were they Paul? Yes, Cain and Abel twins

Which came first? Cain at the sacrifice or worship of God that were given and we know that must have known that Adam instructed these men and how to offer a sacrifice

We're not told that but supposition tells us that Cain's sacrifice was not accepted and Abel's was

David. Can you explain why? That's right

That spells out the The things that he will accept and things that he will not

Now we bring the offering of our hands we've done that today We do it during the week our talent our time our money that's all product of our hands

But Paul we have to bring a blood sacrifice how do we as Christians do that?

Speak up Speak up All right, we repent but What makes or do we bring a blood sacrifice?

All right So what do we bring? Well, we bring ourselves

Joy, tell him what what's our blood sacrifice? Yes the blood of Jesus Christ now

Abel knew that He did not know names. He didn't know things but he knew to bring a blood sacrifice and He did that for our sake

He did it to show us that we to bring a blood sacrifice Now David man cannot come to God without a blood sacrifice and That blood sacrifice being

Jesus Christ himself How is it that the whole world thinks they bring a a blood sacrifice

That's right. He will not accept anything that does not originate with him

That's right we're full of blemishes and And we can offer to God the blood of Christ We have offered every time we come to him.

It's offered And it's offered continually now

Cain and Abel brought a sacrifice. What's the next thing that appears on the calendar? joy joy

Well, we saw the two We saw the two seeds of before Cain and Abel after Cain and Abel and Cain was angry

He says that God but he was really angry with himself What took place next?

I Think you said murder He murdered his brother

Can you imagine such an awful thing now Greg we've become

Unethicized to this word murder We hear it every day. There's people killed every day

More now than I've noticed in Dallas. It's more and more all of the time

And I hate to say it but it's because the Mexicans and the Negroes were moving in more and more all of the time

Now white man kills Don't misunderstand But why is murder?

Why is taking a life such an affront to God? Great All right.

Now you said it's usurping That's from man's viewpoint, isn't it?

Not from God keeps the two separate Because Nothing occurs on earth except it was ordained of God that means

This man kills this man that was ordained of God, but we have to answer for our own sins

All right, the murder of Abel then we go along and What's the next thing that comes up David All right

We have the beginning of working with our hands in metal and wood and stone and everything

Now they're beginning to divide We see those that worship

The Lord and those that worship Satan It's beginning to divide

Was the world getting better or worse Paul but Worse, I don't know why

I can't understand you The world is getting worse and worse and worse and worse

I read a Paragraph Telling about how the embryo of every idea that they had was evil.

So The very fountain from which the idea of the embryo and the ideas come was evil

So the next thing that appears is what Greg All right, they're trying to erase that line

They intermarry They're still intermarrying All right

They intermarry there was The Bible uses the term giant by but we mean not giant physically

But mentally they were very intelligent people You know, that's something that we

Fall into sometimes we're thinking that right now this generation is the only smart people alive

That all of the other people Were just building up to this Well, we may know more but we're not any smarter

The the people during the time before the flood were very very intelligent

David how many people were on earth at the time of the flood? Lots and lots and lots of people there could have been as many as are here now,

I don't know we think that the flood was just a little boat in a small area and It involved those people

Don't kid yourself It was a local flood, but it was local as far as this planet was concerned

Now What's the next thing Greg All right

We have word coming to Noah No, I want you to build a box

I want you to build a boat build a ship build an ark Now don't think that ark was some little thing it was longer than a football field 40 foot high 75 foot wide.

It was a tremendous box Can you imagine how

Fred how old was Noah when he built the ark? 600 years old

Now Paul, I can't imagine that in myself living till you're 600 but suppose

That here's a 600 year old man He's working on the ark been working on for 120 years and he's trying to fit this

Timber on the side His wife a 600 old woman holding a lantern so he can see

Fussing that Noah to come in because she has supper ready And he's fussing at her because she won't leave him alone because he wants to get this plank in because he doesn't know when the floods coming and He's got to do it, right

What Paul what if he had left a hole someplace or if he had not

Sealed the timber tight against the other timber. What would have happened? It would have been awful

But he didn't do that Now his 600 year old wife was my

Concoction because we're not told of it. We know he had a wife Because he had some sons

David who were the sons Shem, Ham, and Japheth From Shem we get the present -day

Jew From Ham we get the present -day black man

And Japheth takes care of all of the rest They get on board

Paul who shut the door to the ark God shut them in At the same time he shut everybody else out

Noah was the only righteous man on earth His sons were not so But here they are with all of the animals there's still peace among the animals

He had to He couldn't just go in and forget the animals

He had to feed them and Gather all of the food that would last for all of the trip, and he'd not know how long the trip was

But the Lord saw to it that the feed and the trip equaled and he

He goes in he and his family and how many people were in his family

Paul? How many?

Eight eight souls, it's important that it's eight Greg why?

All right, and the eighth day of the week is the first day of the second week a

New beginning Now David was everything destroyed besides the ark

All right, what do you want to say? Everything Everything in which there was the breath of life

Now we don't think about an insect breathing, but it does All right that brings us up to today

And I'm going to stop with Genesis we're not going any further

I Wanted to bring that first part to you The Noah comes out of the ark and He goes back to what he knew before of being a husbandman

Plants grapes Produces wine this had to take quite a while a year or two

And He gets drunk and he lays naked in a tent and Cain and Cain's son saw him and they did awful things to him

And it resulted in a curse on on Cain And I think that curse is still in effect today

But that'll be a different time and a different story Now for next week

Will either be in Genesis or Revelation? I have not decided which

Greg I'm trying to study Revelation I'm not sure that I want to teach it yet, but we'll see
