- 00:41
- But if you feel led, give today at EndAbortionNow .com and help us continue this effort to end abortion immediately in our nation.
- 00:50
- EndAbortionNow .com. Welcome to End Abortion Now, the conference.
- 01:06
- Praise God. Welcome. We have people from all over the country, and we have the whole world watching right now.
- 01:13
- So praise, praise God. And especially, thanks to God that we put this together in such a short time.
- 01:21
- Some of you guys got plane tickets from across the country. You organized getting your families out. You did so much in so little time.
- 01:30
- And the reason for that is the name of the conference is End Abortion Now. And so we thought, well now we'll do it.
- 01:37
- And so that's why it happened so quickly. Thank you guys for accommodating everything and making your schedules work.
- 01:43
- I have a lot to say in a very short period of time, and everybody knows I have sins in the area of time.
- 01:50
- So we're gonna get started right away. If you would, join with me in prayer. Father, we come before you as your people.
- 01:57
- Lord, this is not about us. It is not for our glory. It is not for our sake.
- 02:03
- God is for the glory of your Son, Father. Lord Jesus, we ask as your people,
- 02:09
- Lord, gathered here together from churches across the United States, we ask Lord Jesus, that you would put this enemy under your feet.
- 02:19
- You would defeat this enemy, that you'd bring justice for these children. And God, we do pray that you would fill us,
- 02:28
- Lord, this weekend, that it would not be in any way motivational speeches.
- 02:34
- It would be, Lord, power come from you, from your Word. Change us. Lord, challenge us.
- 02:41
- Convict us. God, get us on our feet. Fill us, God, with your power, with Lord, boldness, courage, your words.
- 02:52
- Put your gospel, Father, on our lips and let it go forth to the world. Lord, let the world be wood and your words in our mouths fire.
- 03:03
- And we pray, God, that you would rescue those who are being led to the slaughter.
- 03:11
- You would use your church to do it. We pray, God, that you would defeat your enemies, defeat wretched organizations like Planned Parenthood.
- 03:22
- Destroy it, Lord, with your Word and love, your mercy. We pray,
- 03:28
- God, for every woman going into an abortion clinic this next year. We pray that you would let your words come from our mouths, like a sword that it would pierce through, that they would hear and understand our love for them, our concern for them.
- 03:46
- We pray, God, that you would bring salvation to the abortion mills across the United States.
- 03:52
- We pray, Lord, for our neighbors carrying little ones in.
- 03:58
- That you would bring repentance and faith. We pray, Lord, for our neighbors in the womb, that you would give us,
- 04:05
- Lord God, the endurance, the perseverance, the love, the power to fight for them.
- 04:13
- Please help us. God, we are powerless in ourselves, and so we confess it.
- 04:19
- And we do ask, God, that you'd forgive us. Forgive us as your people. Forgive us of our sins, individually, corporately.
- 04:30
- Forgive us, God, for not acting when we ought to. And we pray,
- 04:35
- God, Lord, as we move forward, that you would grant to us by your Spirit fruit in keeping with repentance.
- 04:44
- That we would fight with all of our might for your glory, for the gospel, and for these children.
- 04:51
- And we do pray, God, that you would give us, Lord, the opportunity to start trouble.
- 04:58
- Please, God, allow us to be godly troublemakers. Please allow us to have controversy, not for controversy's sake, but for the sake of your truth, for the sake of the gospel.
- 05:13
- Lord, put us in a fight for the glory of Jesus. It's in his name we pray.
- 05:21
- Amen. So we're here. End abortion now is the catch cry.
- 05:26
- I say often that this isn't about any one of us. It is about the gospel.
- 05:33
- It's about Jesus Christ. It's about God. It's about God's glory. That's what this is about. That's why we're called together here on this day.
- 05:41
- Not to sign up for a ministry, necessarily, partnering with us so we can create satellite ministries.
- 05:50
- This is about God's truth, God's gospel, which doesn't change. And it's about God's people across the
- 05:56
- United States bringing the message of the gospel where it is needed. It is about us standing boldly where we ought to.
- 06:04
- It is about us standing for justice. Really, the call of this weekend is to come together as the people of God from the
- 06:12
- United States to affirm our love for the gospel, our love for these children, and to be sent back home on mission together in all of our respective churches and ministries to bring the gospel consistently in the area of abortion.
- 06:26
- That's what this is about. We believe that the pro -life movement has failed. It has been an abysmal failure.
- 06:32
- We believe that. We believe that fundamentally it's been an abysmal failure because it has failed fundamentally to stand on the
- 06:39
- Word of God. That's the answer. We believe that the problem of abortion is a problem of sin.
- 06:46
- It's a problem of private sin, individual sin. It's a problem of national sin. And it's a problem of sin that comes from a very fallen heart.
- 06:55
- And what we believe needs to take place is that our nation needs to have a heart change. It needs a heart of stone removed and a heart of flesh replacing it.
- 07:04
- And the only way that takes place, brothers and sisters, is through God's Spirit and through the proclamation of His Word.
- 07:10
- The only way people have eyes opened up and ears opened up, the only way that people have their hearts transformed is when they have an encounter with God, with Jesus Christ.
- 07:21
- And we believe that. We're not ashamed of it. Yes, our movement is fundamentally Christian. It is standing on the
- 07:27
- Word of God. We confess right now to all of our enemies who are watching around the world.
- 07:32
- First, we love you. We want you to know Jesus and be forgiven. And second, second, we are not neutral.
- 07:43
- We are standing on the Word of God. We are standing on biblical principles and we are in this fight because we are fundamentally
- 07:50
- Christian. That's why we're in this fight. The pro -life movement has failed because it has failed to stand on the
- 07:57
- Word of God. It has failed to call abortion what it actually is, murder. It has failed to fight against abortion in the legislature in a consistent
- 08:08
- Christian way, saying ultimately, this is an image bearer of God.
- 08:13
- It's murder to kill it and you ought not do it. And God commands you to repent of this wicked sin.
- 08:22
- Now that makes a lot of people very, very uncomfortable to speak in that way in the 21st century evangelical church.
- 08:29
- To talk about this fight in terms of what God says is something that you shouldn't do. As a matter of fact, many of you guys saw when
- 08:36
- I spoke on Apologia TV to the vice president of the National Right to Life.
- 08:42
- He said, and wasn't ashamed, he said, professed, accepted, was proud to say it, that their mission in this movement as this major pro -life organization was to take a backdoor approach.
- 08:55
- To not stand on the Word of God, to not make it about Jesus, but to take a backdoor approach.
- 09:01
- What we really need to do, they say, in the pro -life movement, is just convince people that this is a human being in the womb.
- 09:09
- We just need people to understand that this is a human being. It's a part of our species and we can't kill it.
- 09:17
- Well, what I say when people say that is that you must not spend a lot of time out on the streets.
- 09:24
- Because for those of you guys that are in this kind of ministry on the front lines, you know that when you convince these image bearers of God that they're about to kill another human being, their response is, so what?
- 09:38
- I have the right to murder my child. Yes, I know it's a baby. Yes, I know it's my baby.
- 09:45
- Yes, I know that it's human, but my path is to destroy it. You can convince people who are fallen all day long that that is a human being in the womb, and they will say, that's right, and I have the right to murder it.
- 10:02
- One of the reasons we are engaged in the way that we are with media is we want to expose and let people know, see, and hear what we know, see, and hear outside of those abortion mills.
- 10:15
- You may say, why do you broadcast the way you do? Why are you putting things on live stream? Is it to make Apologia famous? No! It's actually really hard to do those sorts of things.
- 10:24
- We have much, we have so many other things we could be doing, right? I could be spending time with family.
- 10:30
- We could be having a great time. We could just be doing wonderful things with our lives. Why do we go out to the abortion mills and turn everything on?
- 10:37
- We do it because we want to expose this darkness for what it really is. We want people to see the
- 10:43
- Planned Parenthood supporters saying, yes, I know it's murder, and giving fist bumps in the air when you say that it's murder.
- 10:51
- We want people to see what's actually taking place out there. We want to expose this darkness for what it actually is.
- 10:58
- We want people to see that it doesn't make a difference if you convince somebody that it's a human, that it's a baby. They will say with a very fallen heart, well,
- 11:06
- I have the right to murder my child, or you may get this one. Ready? I know it's a baby.
- 11:13
- I'm gonna kill it anyways, and God will, what? Oh, you guys have been here.
- 11:20
- You know, the pro -life movement has been an abysmal failure because it has failed fundamentally to stand on the
- 11:26
- Word of God. If the nation's heart is fallen, then what the nation needs is a new heart.
- 11:32
- If the nation is blind, then they need the great physician to give them sight again.
- 11:37
- If the nation is deaf and they can't hear, they need the one who gives hearing to deaf people. If our nation is dead, then it needs a resurrection, and there's only one way that takes place, brothers and sisters, and yes, you will be seen.
- 11:52
- You will be seen as a radical. Yes, you will be seen as people who are troublemakers.
- 11:59
- You will be seen as people causing great difficulty. You will be told to stop, and I will say this, and I say this with a sad heart, and I mean that sincerely.
- 12:10
- Some of the greatest opposition you will receive as you enter into this ministry of the gospel at the abortion mills, some of the greatest opposition you will receive is from professing
- 12:20
- Christians. People who will tell you, no, I agree you shouldn't have an abortion.
- 12:25
- No, I agree that it's an image bearer of God. I agree that it's murder, and that women shouldn't do it, but I don't believe you should be going to abortion mills to tell women they're about to murder their children.
- 12:35
- I don't believe that what you're doing is right. I think what you're doing is very, very edgy. It's too sharp.
- 12:41
- It's a serrated edge that doesn't need to be there. Well, what you do is when someone says that to you, point them to the
- 12:48
- Scriptures where God commands them to stand in the way of people who are going to death.
- 12:55
- What you do is you actually ask them questions like, okay, we have two paths here. One is go to the abortion mills, preach the gospel, call it murder, offer to help, offer to love, offer to support.
- 13:07
- Now, we've done that together, amen, and as a result of that hundreds and hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of babies, thousands, saved from death, right?
- 13:21
- The gospel proclaimed literally tens of thousands of times.
- 13:27
- That's the one way. So path one, go, preach the gospel, love these women, tell them that you'll serve them and adopt their babies and help them.
- 13:36
- One, thousands of babies saved, the gospel goes forth tens of thousands of times. Ask the person who says don't go.
- 13:43
- How many babies have you saved with your methodology? Your methodology is this, don't go.
- 13:51
- Your methodology is this, stay silent. Your methodology is this, vote
- 13:56
- Republican. What's happened?
- 14:05
- 40 years, Roe v. Wade, the pro -life movement, voting
- 14:10
- Republican, and where are we at? Where are we at? 700 some -odd abortion facilities across the
- 14:18
- United States and over 3 ,000 image bearers of God dying every single day in our nation, every day, and nothing's changing.
- 14:31
- You could say all day long that we have less abortion facilities.
- 14:39
- You could say all day that we're changing things, but every day is 9 -11.
- 14:47
- Every day is a day that we go and fight wars for. 3 ,000 people died when we fight a war, and then every day in our nation 3 ,000 babies die.
- 15:00
- And you can say that we're fighting and we're trying, but I want to say that there's something wrong, and believe me, this is coming from a hardcore pipe -hitting
- 15:07
- Calvinist. I know God is sovereign. I know that he wields his authority, and I know that abortion is an enemy ultimately that he only permits.
- 15:19
- I know that, but I also know that, listen, we have the same God, the same spirit, and the same gospel as the early church that turned the world upside down.
- 15:29
- And there isn't a special power that the early church had to turn a pagan empire on its head that we do not have.
- 15:39
- You see, I think that, I think this, Romans 1, the gospel is the power of God for salvation, and if we're not seeing salvation and hearts changed,
- 15:50
- I want to ask the question, well, are we under God's judgment? Because that's certainly a possibility. Okay, is the gospel being faithfully proclaimed?
- 15:59
- And my answer, when I look across the broad stream and spectrum of pro -life movements, when
- 16:05
- I ask the question, is the gospel being proclaimed in this area? My answer is no. Is it being proclaimed?
- 16:13
- Yes, but is it being proclaimed in a consistent way from the Church of Jesus Christ across this nation?
- 16:20
- And my answer is no, I don't believe so. And so I want to point, lest anybody think that there's a haughty spirit or a pride behind this, because it's important to avoid that.
- 16:37
- Believe me, one of the things you have to fight in abortion mill ministry is pride. You go out to the abortion mill and no one's standing there next to you, and the first thing you say is what?
- 16:45
- You know, what do you say when you're out there, and you're out there for weeks on end, and nobody shows up next to you? What do you say?
- 16:51
- Come on, tell me. You've been there. What do you say? What? Where's the church? And so there's a danger in doing this ministry, going out to abortion mills, seeing the need, seeing lives being saved and transformed.
- 17:04
- You start looking next to you, and you say, where's the church? There's a danger of pride and haughtiness to say, well,
- 17:10
- I'm doing this, and they're not. I'm doing this.
- 17:16
- Where's the church? I'm doing this. The bride has failed. I don't believe that pride ought to be accepted in this place and during this time.
- 17:27
- I think what we ought to do as Christians who are convicted over this, who are going out and doing this,
- 17:33
- I think we ought to love Jesus' bride, and we should call
- 17:38
- Jesus' bride to come with us. And remember this fundamentally, and this is vitally important for those of us that are going to the abortion mill and thinking about these things.
- 17:47
- How did you decide to start going to the abortion mill? How? Was it because somebody annihilated you?
- 17:56
- Because somebody destroyed you? Or did you see faithfulness?
- 18:02
- And did you see God moving, and then you went? I want to say this.
- 18:07
- I'm convinced that God's bride is wooed into things.
- 18:13
- And what I want to say is put down pride, and we ought to woo
- 18:18
- Jesus' bride into this fight. That's the answer. And so lest anybody think this is coming from a place of pride,
- 18:26
- I want to just say briefly, how did we get involved as a church? First, we were pro -life.
- 18:33
- We believed that it was an image bearer of God, that abortion was murder. I preached sermons against abortion. I believed abortion was sin.
- 18:39
- I believed that it needed to end. I was pro -life between my ears, in my heart, and in my head.
- 18:47
- I was pro -life between the walls of my church. I voted for pro -life candidates. I believe that that's what we had going for us.
- 18:55
- And we had a woman on years ago on Apologia Radio. I saw her come across my feed.
- 19:01
- I saw that she was involved in abortion mill ministry. I saw pictures of her coming out on Facebook, where she was with different women, like consistently just different women, different babies.
- 19:13
- And she was at the hospital, and then at a different hospital, and then a new woman, and then a new baby. And I thought, what, is this works?
- 19:23
- You can actually go and save children outside of an abortion mill? Because my idea of abortion mill ministry was a lot of heat, no light.
- 19:30
- I had a picture in my mind of nutcase professing Christians who went to abortion mills, and screamed a lot, and caused a lot of problems, but maybe nothing.
- 19:40
- And so we had this wonderful sister in Christ on the radio, and she was talking to us, saying she'd been involved in this ministry for like two decades, from since she was a child.
- 19:50
- And she's talking about how they do it, and they go, they preach the gospel, they love these women, and we're like, wow, wow.
- 19:56
- And she says, yeah, and we saved 360 some odd babies. And you should have seen
- 20:02
- Luke, and Joy, and I, our jaws are on the table. I'm thinking 20 years of ministry, 360 some odd babies, that's insane.
- 20:10
- That is insane. And she says, yeah, last year. It's like a baby a day.
- 20:18
- Like a baby a day. And so, so Apology at Church was challenged by that, and people started coming together, saying we should do something about this.
- 20:28
- We can do it, obviously. We know the gospel. We know the need. We know where these places are. Let's go. And so we went knowing nothing except God's truth, and the fact that we love these women.
- 20:39
- And so we went. We went to the abortion mill on our first day at the abortion mill. We were walking away in about two hours with two 16 -year -old girls who decided not to murder their children that day.
- 20:51
- Two babies, first day. And so we knew that this could be done.
- 20:58
- God was in this. And so we kept going. Well, that was almost four years ago.
- 21:03
- And what we have at Apology at Church that we know of over 40, sorry, over 70 babies saved locally from Apology at Church.
- 21:11
- The number is much higher than that. That's just what we can confirm. And over 100 ministries have started across the
- 21:18
- United States as a result of Apology at Church just talking about this ministry.
- 21:24
- Praise God. And at this point, if we could guess, thousands of children saved.
- 21:33
- Why? There's nothing special in us. The truth is, if you want to know how this all started, it's because as we started going out to the abortion mill, all we did is we reported back to you on Apology Radio what was happening.
- 21:46
- We said, hey guys, we saved a baby today. Hey, baby saved. Hey, this happened this weekend. Hey, baby was saved. Hey, baby was saved.
- 21:52
- And all of a sudden we start getting notice from Christians across the country saying, hey Jeff, I started my own abortion mill ministry and we had a save this weekend and we had five saves and we took a woman in and this woman came to Christ and we're seeing all, see all these things take place.
- 22:05
- Everything that you see before you today took place organically. And here's why. It was just a single church in the middle of the desert that's not very wise, not very mighty, not very powerful, that just said this.
- 22:19
- I want to love God and love these people. And so we went. And that's what this is.
- 22:26
- That's what's before you. Nothing special in us. It's just being faithful.
- 22:33
- I want to talk today quickly. Tomorrow is answering objections. So talk about objections you get from professing
- 22:40
- Christians who say you shouldn't do this kind of ministry and objections you get outside the abortion mill.
- 22:46
- But I want to address just briefly the cowardice of modern evangelicalism.
- 22:54
- The cowardice of modern evangelicalism. Now this is across the board. I want to say very, very important. It's not simply in the area of abortion.
- 23:01
- Not simply in the area of abortion. Now when I, by the way, when I say the cowardice of modern evangelicalism, what
- 23:08
- I'm talking about is the culture of the 21st century evangelical church in the west.
- 23:14
- It's the kind of culture that says, don't offend. Don't cause trouble.
- 23:20
- Don't make things difficult. Don't go to jail. It's the kind of Christianity that says, if people hate you, if people despise you, if people dislike your message, then you must be doing something wrong.
- 23:41
- Compare and contrast that to the ministry of Jesus and his apostles. Where Jesus says to people, to his people, woe to you when all people speak well of you.
- 23:54
- In contrast to the ministry of Jesus where he speaks to crowds of thousands of people. We're making progress now in the kingdom of God.
- 24:01
- It's broken into history and now progress. Finally, we're having some progress after all this opposition.
- 24:07
- Thousands of followers. What does modern evangelicalism say when you've got thousands of seats filled?
- 24:13
- Do whatever you can to keep them. Build a coffee shop, sell cotton candy and chocolate milk, whatever you have to do to keep these people in their seats.
- 24:25
- Jesus turns around and does everything to get him an
- 24:31
- F letter grade in seminary classes across the United States. He says to these crowds of thousands, if anyone comes to me and does not hate, and then he names the most important people in your life, father, mother, sister, brother, wife, and he says in even your own life, you're not worthy to be my disciple.
- 24:53
- If you come after Jesus, he says you must take up your cross. You must come to die and rise again.
- 25:01
- That's the call of Jesus. That's the gospel call of Jesus. Come die or don't come.
- 25:07
- Modern evangelicalism as a culture is filled with cowardice.
- 25:15
- When you see Christians being bold with the truth, telling the truth, modern evangelicalism says, condemn it.
- 25:22
- It's wrong. It shouldn't be that way. Why? Because the world needs to accept us. They need to love us.
- 25:27
- If we could just make friends with the world, then we'll make everybody love Jesus.
- 25:33
- Whereas the mission of Jesus and his apostles was to call people to come from where they were to where he is.
- 25:42
- To call people out of death and into life. Modern evangelicalism sees people who would tell the truth as enemies of the truth.
- 25:50
- It's a weird place to be. If you look in the book of Acts, I do believe that the book of Acts, God has given to us this amazing book that shows us the pattern of his spirit moving in his people faithfully in the first century.
- 26:06
- So what do you see in the book of Acts as the MO of the Christian church? Well, you see the apostles taken in after being warned by the government.
- 26:16
- What was the warning? Shut up! Shut up! Didn't we tell you to stop bringing this man's blood upon us?
- 26:24
- Didn't we tell you to stop speaking in his name? And Peter's response, as somebody who was an ex -coward evangelical, who denied that he even knew
- 26:36
- Jesus before a little servant girl, Peter's response is we have to obey
- 26:43
- God rather than men. And then after a conversation about what to do with these men, they do what they think is appropriate and they beat him.
- 26:52
- The apostles take a beating for Jesus. They're cut up in blue and purple and bloodied and hot, walking out of there with their backs hot and sore.
- 27:03
- I think most of us, if we're honest, we'd say in that moment, we would say, oh, I did my Christian duty. Time to take a break.
- 27:10
- And what does it say? They left the presence of the council rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his namesake.
- 27:22
- That was the heartbeat of the early evangelist. That was the heartbeat of the early church. People always say,
- 27:28
- I want to get back to the early church. Okay, get back to the early church, the way the early church was. I want to say, do you realize how dangerous that is?
- 27:35
- You want to get back to the way the early church was? Well, they died. Are you ready to die? Are you ready to die for the faith, for the truth?
- 27:45
- They spoke the truth, not in a way that was hostile in nature in terms of them being mean -spirited and unkind.
- 27:52
- They just told the truth. And when you tell the truth to a culture that is at war with God, that culture is, in their own mind, at war with you.
- 28:00
- Which means that if you tell the truth in a culture that loves death, expect hostility, expect difficulty at every side.
- 28:10
- And they walk away counting themselves full of joy.
- 28:17
- That they were counted worthy to suffer shame for Jesus' name. And they kept on preaching the truth.
- 28:23
- And what took place? It wasn't long after, ultimately, that the Roman Empire was turned upside down and went from paganism ultimately to Christians dominating.
- 28:33
- And I don't mean that in the sense of some political physical thing. I'm talking in the sense of Christians spreading the message of the truth, loving people, doing acts of mercy.
- 28:47
- I want to point us to our heroes. I just did a message on this. Hopefully it'll go up soon.
- 28:52
- I hope it'll bless you guys. I just want to say this quickly. John the Baptist. You ask the average person and say, is
- 29:02
- John the Baptist a hero? Yeah, John the Baptist is a hero. Is he awesome? Yeah, he was awesome. Is he from God?
- 29:08
- Yeah. What kind of things does the Bible say about John the Baptist? Well, Jesus said a lot about him.
- 29:14
- Jesus actually said, of those born of a woman, no one's greater than John the Baptist. That's a pretty good accolade. That's an amazing trophy to hang around your neck, right?
- 29:22
- Greatest born of women right here. That's me, right? So pretty good guy in God's eyes,
- 29:28
- Jesus says. It's the greatest right here, John the Baptist. Well, what did John the Baptist do? Well, John the
- 29:34
- Baptist did a couple things. John the Baptist told the truth to the religious authorities who were breaking covenant with God.
- 29:39
- He confronted them, told them to repent. He, according to the Gospels, called the people of God to show that they actually had repented by demonstrating it through justice, mercy, repentance, genuine repentance.
- 29:57
- And John the Baptist actually spoke the law of God to the governing authority of his day.
- 30:04
- What did he say to the governing authority of his day? Well, he said, um, that's government business.
- 30:13
- John the Baptist said, well, you see there's two kingdoms here. I'm sorry if anyone's offended by that.
- 30:21
- He said, well, there's a church realm over here, and there's the government realm over here, and there's not really supposed to be any intersection with them.
- 30:28
- No, John the Baptist actually brought the law of God to bear on the governing authority of his day. And he said it's not lawful for you to have your brother's wife.
- 30:36
- What? Not lawful according to who? The law of the day? No, according to God's law. And so what got
- 30:42
- John the Baptist, the greatest of men born of women, what got him killed? It was his mouth.
- 30:51
- You see, here's the thing about godly troublemakers in history, and I'm, of course, borrowing this from my friend
- 30:56
- Douglas Wilson. Here's the thing about troublemakers in history, godly troublemakers, is that we love them. We think they're amazing, but we love them where they are.
- 31:05
- Safe. Back there. You see the thing about godly troublemakers that Christians, we love them.
- 31:11
- We say this is an amazing man of God. Luther, Calvin, Zwingli. You got all these amazing heroes in history.
- 31:18
- You got Wycliffe and these giants of the faith. Right? Athanasius, right?
- 31:24
- He's not Athanasius. He's an amazing man of God. There was a statement about Athanasius. It was Athanasius Contramundum.
- 31:31
- Athanasius against the world. At his time, he was like one of the only people standing for the trinity in his day.
- 31:39
- So much corruption and false teaching had come in, and Athanasius fights against it as like one of the sole people fighting for the trinity in his day.
- 31:48
- Athanasius Contramundum. And you go, what a hero. And in his day, they wanted him dead. You see, we love our heroes where they are.
- 31:58
- Back there where they're safe. You see, the thing about godly troublemakers is they do just that.
- 32:05
- They cause trouble. And they don't cause trouble because of their behavior. They don't cause trouble because of malice.
- 32:12
- They don't cause trouble because they're engaging in works of the flesh. They cause trouble because they're telling the truth.
- 32:19
- And brothers and sisters, I want to say that we must tell the truth. We have to tell the truth.
- 32:26
- My heart's desire is that God would raise up people who would not be safe. My heart's desire is that God would raise up people who would live lives of godly missionary sacrifice.
- 32:38
- Who would not be safe. Who would be risky. People ask the question, of course, is this a ministry that's safe?
- 32:51
- And the answer is nope. Yeah, I was talking to some brothers just a little bit ago.
- 32:57
- It's awesome talking to you guys, by the way. It's so encouraging to hear your stories. And as we're only talking for a few seconds and we're talking about the fact that abortion male ministry is the ugliest, most awful, most difficult, horrible thing you could ever choose to do.
- 33:19
- I'm really selling this right now, aren't I? It is ugly and horrible and hostile and unsafe and glorious and majestic and beautiful and powerful and amazing.
- 33:36
- Right? But know this, that when you go to that abortion mill to tell the truth, you will be told you are number one.
- 33:45
- A lot. You will have things thrown at you. You may get your face punched in.
- 33:53
- You may die. Okay. Well, by the way, here's the thing the world doesn't understand.
- 34:00
- Why are Christians so willing to die for truth, justice, for the faith, for the gospel?
- 34:06
- Why are Christians so willing to die? How come? Why? Why? I think my only stab at it is it's because they already have.
- 34:15
- And that's the only way Christians can be willing to engage in things that are this stupid, right?
- 34:20
- This risky and this ugly, right? Why would you do it? Well, because you've already died. You've already died.
- 34:26
- And if you've already died and risen again, then you know what Jesus says. You'll never die.
- 34:32
- If you believe in Him, you'll never die. And so that's why we engage in these kinds of ministries. I want to say this quickly, just a couple points to remember.
- 34:39
- We're going to have a long weekend of a lot of talk. So mine's right now talking about foundations. We must live like God commands us.
- 34:50
- We must live lives that look like we've died. We must live lives that tell the truth, that are bold, that are loving, that are merciful, that are respectful.
- 34:58
- We must do what God commands us in terms of what He commands us to do with the unborn.
- 35:04
- And that is rescue them. And we must remember that we are not neutral. Stop pretending to be.
- 35:11
- We're not neutral. Stop pretending to be. When I talked to the vice president of National Right to Life, it was abundantly clear.
- 35:21
- You guys can watch that on YouTube. It was abundantly clear that the heads of the pro -life movement are not concerned with abortion being called murder, with it being stopped immediately.
- 35:36
- And they're not concerned about standing on scripture to engage in the fights. That much is clear.
- 35:42
- I was on the phone with a very, very well -known head of a
- 35:48
- Christian lobbyist group, a person that's very well known, especially in Arizona. And I asked her if she'd be a part of what we're doing.
- 35:56
- And she told me she wouldn't. And I asked her why. And she said, I could not be a part of what you are doing because you are calling abortion murder.
- 36:09
- She said, I have too many Christian sisters who have had abortions and I cannot call abortion murder.
- 36:17
- It'll hurt their feelings. So here's the head of a Christian lobby group who's fighting in this fight for the pro -life movement.
- 36:26
- Listen, she will not call it murder and she is not fighting to end it now. I said, well, what's your, what's your, what's your path?
- 36:33
- Where are you going with this? What do you want to do? And she said, well, what we want to do is see Roe versus Wade overturned.
- 36:40
- What we need to do is we need to appoint pro -life judges onto the
- 36:45
- Supreme Court and then they will reverse Roe versus Wade. Are you forgetting about how
- 36:51
- Roe v. Wade started? Right. How's it working out for us, by the way?
- 37:01
- And when we actually do fight that way, when we say Roe versus Wade has to be overturned, what we are doing is actually contradicting the laws of our nation.
- 37:14
- Our nation isn't set up that way. Praise God for Geneva and John Calvin.
- 37:23
- Presbyterians, there's your pass, okay? Thank you for your form of government, okay?
- 37:29
- That's the only time I'm saying it, okay? But what does our, what are our founding documents say?
- 37:36
- They say what? Who makes laws? Who makes the law in our nation?
- 37:43
- Congress. So why would we actually contradict our own system of law and government in order to fight against abortion?
- 37:51
- Why don't we do what's actually right, what our founders said we ought to do, what the Christian worldview would demand of us, and that's actually end abortion immediately at the state level.
- 38:01
- Like tomorrow. Like now. Right now. Why not immediate justice for these fatherless children, for these human beings, for these image bearers of God?
- 38:10
- Why not for all of them, not just the ones who are a certain age?
- 38:16
- Why don't we have justice for the sake of justice? Know this, that we are not neutral.
- 38:23
- We need to stop pretending to be. There is the myth of neutrality we have to fight against all the time.
- 38:31
- Remember this, they are not neutral and Jesus commands you not to be. When I say they,
- 38:36
- I mean those who don't know Christ. They're not neutral and Jesus commands you not to be. Remember what Jesus says, take it to heart, take it seriously.
- 38:44
- I should only have to say this once to all of us. Jesus says if you are not with me, you are against me.
- 38:50
- That is the call of Jesus. Like it or not, that's the message of Jesus. People say, oh, that's very exclusive.
- 38:57
- That's very sharp. That's very like, you know, this or that. Exactly. That's the way truth works.
- 39:02
- Amen. When you have truth, you have error and Jesus is the truth.
- 39:08
- And so he tells you if you're not with me, you are against me. You are opposed to me. You are hostile to me in my ways.
- 39:16
- And Jesus calls his people not to be neutral. You are with Christ or you are against him. Now, here's what's interesting.
- 39:22
- As the Bible tells us about unbelievers, all of us before Jesus saves us by his grace.
- 39:27
- It tells us that one, Romans chapter 1, all of us know God. Our problem isn't a lack of evidence or light about God.
- 39:35
- Our problem is a sinful suppression of truth. It says in Romans chapter 1 verse 18, the wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth.
- 39:48
- They are suppressing the truth. It says that which is known about God is evident within them for God has shown it to them.
- 39:55
- And it says that even the creation itself is shouting to each and every image bearer of God, testifying to every one of us about God himself.
- 40:04
- We all know the true God. Our problem is suppression of truth. We know
- 40:09
- God. We're not neutral. We're not looking for him. It says in Romans 3, there is none who seeks for God.
- 40:19
- None of us is looking for him because we're all hiding from him. We're all at war with him. We're suppressing the truth. And in Romans chapter 5,
- 40:25
- Paul takes all of humanity and puts them into two individuals, two representatives. You're either an Adam or you're in Jesus.
- 40:32
- And if you're an Adam, that is death and condemnation. But if you're in Jesus, there is the gift of eternal life and righteousness.
- 40:38
- That's what the Bible says. Everybody is already in a relationship with Jesus Christ.
- 40:45
- Every one of us. And that relationship is either marked by hostility or by peace.
- 40:53
- Nobody's neutral. Every person that we speak to knows the true God and they need to have a relationship with him of peace that is only through Jesus Christ.
- 41:05
- Nobody's neutral. Now, here's what's amazing. In this conflict of abortion, listen closely, it is amazing.
- 41:12
- In this conflict of abortion, it is one of those areas, it's tremendous, where you walk into this fight,
- 41:21
- Christians walk into this fight, into this political arena. And this is a moment where Christians pretend neutrality.
- 41:31
- Well, why do you want abortion to end? Well, you know, because it's a human being. Why does that matter? Well, you know, because I think it's not good for the mother.
- 41:38
- Why? Well, because abortion hurts women. Yeah. Of course.
- 41:45
- Well, is it because Jesus? No, no, no, no, no. No, no. I'm just saying because it's a human being. We should all respect our species.
- 41:51
- Right? And what other place do we kill other human beings? I mean, come on now, we should respect it because it's a human being.
- 41:57
- Because Jesus? No, no, no. I'm not saying because I'm a Christian. Oh, it's because of the Bible, right? No, no, no. I'm saying that we should have separation of church and state here.
- 42:05
- We just need to do this because it's just right to do. I've actually heard that. And then you have, amazingly, listen, this is an amazing scene.
- 42:13
- Abortion is the fight. The Christian pretends neutrality and all of a sudden you have the unbeliever in this fight saying, no, no, no.
- 42:21
- Not because the God of the Bible. Because of secular morality. Because of humanist ideals.
- 42:27
- You ask the unbeliever who's fighting for abortion. They'll tell you why they're fighting for abortion and they'll tell you it is because of their opposition with those
- 42:36
- Christo -fascists. Which is what we were called a couple of weeks ago by the head priestess of the satanic temple.
- 42:45
- Christo -fascists. She knew where the fight was. But notice this. In this fight, in this fight, this is a shame.
- 42:52
- Unbelievers are willing to firm up their commitments to the unbelieving worldview and they will say in this fight, not because I'm neutral, but because of humanist ideas.
- 43:02
- Because of a strictly unbelieving worldview, we ought to be able to have abortion. And amazingly, here comes the
- 43:08
- Christian, the pro -lifer, who comes into this fight. And what do they say? Not because of Jesus. Isn't it amazing that the unbeliever is firming up their commitments to their hostility towards Jesus, while the
- 43:19
- Christian is abandoning their commitment to Jesus? We need to destroy the myth of neutrality.
- 43:26
- When you talk to the unbeliever outside the abortion mill, they say things like, please forgive me, keep your
- 43:33
- God out of my vagina. I know it's murder. We were out there once and we were preaching the gospel and I said, inside there right now, they are tearing the heads and arms and legs off of little boys and girls.
- 43:49
- And this man walked past me, he stopped and looked at me, he said, that sounds delicious. That's the kind of hostility that exists in this fight outside of these abortion mills.
- 44:01
- So what's the, what's the problem? One, it's a problem of sin. What does the
- 44:06
- Bible say about all of us? We know the true God. We express the truth of God in righteousness. It says there is no God -seeker. It says, what about us?
- 44:14
- There is no fear of God before their eyes. Romans chapter 3. What does it say? Their throats are open graves.
- 44:20
- With their tongues they keep deceiving. The poison of asps is under their lips. Their feet are swift to shed blood.
- 44:30
- I'll tell you what, there is no more vivid display of Romans chapter 3 than outside of your local abortion clinic.
- 44:42
- Non God -seeking, no fear of God, the poison of asps under their lips, no fear of God, none.
- 44:49
- Hostility only and their feet are swift to shed blood. Our condition is that.
- 44:56
- Now lest you think, well, thank God for me. You need to remember the only thing that separates you from every person that walks into that abortion clinic is one thing and that's the grace of God.
- 45:09
- The only thing that separates any of us in this room from anybody contemplating abortion or engaging in opposition to us, the only thing separating us is the grace of God in Jesus Christ.
- 45:18
- That's it. But that's the condition. It's a condition of the heart. It's a condition of sin.
- 45:24
- And what does God say about the sin? He says that he hates the hands that shed innocent blood.
- 45:31
- What's the solution? The gospel. What does the Bible say? Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the
- 45:39
- Word of God. How will they ever turn to Jesus?
- 45:45
- How will they ever stop thinking that murder of children is okay and fine and moral if they don't have a heart change fundamentally?
- 45:54
- And here's the thing, firm up your Christian commitments. You know that the only way any hearts change is when those hearts make contact with Jesus Christ.
- 46:05
- That's what we know as Christians. We know that's the truth. Our nation is not going to reject abortion on humanist ideals.
- 46:16
- Our nation will reject abortion when there is revival in the church back to the gospel and righteousness and justice.
- 46:25
- And when the gospel is faithfully proclaimed to our nation. Now somebody might say that's counterintuitive.
- 46:32
- I don't think you're gonna have a lot of success if you make this about Jesus, if you make it about the law of God, and you make it about the gospel.
- 46:39
- I say this, so be it. So be it. If God chooses through a faithful proclamation of the gospel to judge our nation anyway, then guess what?
- 46:49
- It's for his glory and our good. And what you need is the gospel faithfully proclaimed.
- 46:55
- But here's what I am. Listen, I got to say this. Everyone knows that I'm a rabid post -millennialist.
- 47:01
- You have to take a breath for a second, okay? I do believe, I do believe that the gospel is powerful enough to take this nation and turn it back to God.
- 47:13
- I believe that. I believe God is sovereign enough to immediately break people's hearts, to knock people who are hostile to the church off their high horses and bring them to Jesus, to open their eyes to the truth.
- 47:26
- But it has to be through a faithful proclamation of the gospel. What does the Bible say? Romans chapter 1 verse 16. The gospel is the power of God for salvation.
- 47:35
- Watch. That message goes forth from his church. The Spirit of God empowers that message as it goes out.
- 47:43
- It hits an unbelieving heart and God, through his grace and might, ignites that person, makes them alive.
- 47:51
- But first it has to go out. And brothers and sisters, how will they believe if somebody isn't sent?
- 48:04
- How are they going to hear if somebody doesn't tell them? What we need is the church in America is to get on some beautiful feet.
- 48:15
- Get out to those abortion mills. You should be convinced, by the way, if we stood in front of this camera right here and all around the world just began to share our testimonies, we would be sharing testimony after testimony of a woman who came to Christ, a man who came to Christ, a child who came to Christ, a baby who was saved, a baby who was saved, a baby who was saved.
- 48:35
- And I'll just say this. We could have held End Abortion Now one way. Every one of us could have come to this conference with all of the babies that God has saved by his power and we could have just walked in front of this camera and just gone, see?
- 48:51
- Right? Because I'll tell you this. This is the truth. I just want to be transparent and honest with everybody. When you hold these babies in your arms that have been saved from death because you went to an abortion mill and just told the truth, you are fundamentally changed.
- 49:05
- For good. You are never going back. You are never stopping when you hold one of these children in your arms.
- 49:14
- It changes you. It goes from theory about what could happen at the abortion mill, what might be happening there, to there's flesh on it now.
- 49:24
- Right? When you don't go to the abortion mill, it is Cindy, Sarah, Billy, John dying.
- 49:37
- Right? Like, you know, one of the videos, we had no idea it was going to do what it did.
- 49:43
- It got, I don't even know how, we didn't expect it. I went to a conference for pastors and I decided to do a message on fighting for the faith and being risky and I brought one of the women and her babies up who was saved from death.
- 49:56
- And for the last three years has been the number one recommended sermon on YouTube. Like almost 2 million views and it's got this baby at the end.
- 50:04
- So many ministries started just because of that one video. But that story, and they were there, the
- 50:10
- Martins right there, Chelsea, Justin right there. They were, they were there. Chris was talking to him. He was the one that was sad, like with the sign, right?
- 50:20
- And if we didn't go that day, if we weren't there, then it means
- 50:26
- Carmelo is dead. Do you see? It's the reality of it. That's the reality of this.
- 50:33
- We're talking about flesh and blood. We're talking about real children, real human beings, real image bearers of God. And that's why we have to go.
- 50:40
- The solution, of course, again is the gospel. And I don't have to belabor the point here, hopefully, with this crew.
- 50:48
- But what is it? It's murder. Exodus 21, 22 through 25.
- 50:54
- It's a case law of the Old Testament. It talks about what to do if somebody actually affects the death of a child in the womb.
- 51:00
- And you know that, you know, everyone knows life for life, right? Eye for eye, tooth for tooth. What's that mean? Well, it's
- 51:06
- God talking about equal justice. There has to be actual justice. God cares about justice. When someone says to me today,
- 51:12
- Jeff, you still believe in eye for eye, tooth for tooth? Yes. That's like asking,
- 51:18
- Jeff, do you want justice? Sure, right? Yeah. Eye for eye, tooth for tooth.
- 51:24
- By the way, do you know what context that is brought up in? It's brought up in the context of a child dying in the womb.
- 51:31
- So when God talks about justice, He chooses to pick as His premier example of justice, a child dying in the womb.
- 51:45
- Next, Psalm 139. We can multiply this ad infinitum, ad nauseum.
- 51:53
- We are fearfully and wonderfully made. God knits us together in our mother's wombs.
- 51:58
- All of our days were written in His book before there was even one of them. The Bible teaches we're made in the image of God.
- 52:05
- What's in the womb is image of God. That's Scripture. Next, biology. Know this.
- 52:13
- Roe versus Wade was based upon a false premise. The false premise was that what's in the womb is potential human life.
- 52:23
- Now, you need to actually firm up your commitments here and be excited about something. We know today, not just from Scripture, but from biological science, it is an irrefutable point.
- 52:32
- What's in the womb from conception has all the biological components of human life.
- 52:38
- You don't become human in the womb over time. You are human from conception.
- 52:45
- Biology testifies to the fact that what's in there at conception is a human being.
- 52:51
- There can be no disputes. Of course, you all know the argument. It's popular. It's not mine, but it's fantastic.
- 52:57
- The sled argument. The only difference between what's in the womb at conception to where you all are and where I am now is size.
- 53:04
- It's kind of small. Level of development, it's not fully developed yet. The environment it's in, it's in the mother.
- 53:12
- And the degree of dependence, it's still dependent upon the mother. And at no other time in our judicial system do we suggest that it is moral, that it is moral, for us to kill another human being because they're small.
- 53:25
- In that case, there's a few ladies in here that are in trouble. Or to say we can kill another human being because they're not fully developed.
- 53:35
- That is the kind of thinking, by the way, that led to people in Germany not long ago saying,
- 53:42
- I know that it looks like a person. It's not a person. It's a Jew. The moment you start looking at other human beings saying,
- 53:51
- I think you could die because you're not fully developed. We're all in big trouble. And we don't do it at any other time.
- 53:58
- Next is environment. Well, it's in the womb. Well, at what other time do we say it's acceptable to kill other human beings because of where they're stationed?
- 54:08
- Next is degree of dependence. Well, we can kill it because it's dependent upon the mother. Do you guys see that video last week?
- 54:14
- It went up with Psy. Wasn't that fantastic? Do you guys, some of you guys see that? Psy and I, we went to ASU.
- 54:23
- And we go out to see, let's get in a fight. And we go to see if we could talk to people, get in a conversation, preach the gospel.
- 54:31
- So we got these two people that come up to us, ASU students, and they're for abortion.
- 54:37
- And so Zach sends them our way, get into a conversation with them. And he says, well, I believe that you should be able to ultimately have the abortion.
- 54:44
- Well, why? Because it's dependent upon the mother. Like it's using the mother as life support, right?
- 54:51
- And so that's why you can kill it, because it needs the mother for life support, right? That's why it's not murder if you kill it, because it's dependent upon the mother.
- 54:59
- He said, however, when he gets a little older and you can get it out and actually can survive, like, I think then you shouldn't be able to kill it.
- 55:05
- I said, okay, here's an example. I'll take what you said is the standard. Okay, it's inside the mother.
- 55:11
- The mother's the life support, right? He says, yes. I said, okay, take it out of the mother now. And we could put it on artificial life support, right?
- 55:17
- He says, right. I said, okay, life support in the mom, take it out. Artificial life support, now out of the mom.
- 55:24
- Life support now artificial. He says, right. I said, what happens if someone comes up to it and starts chopping it up?
- 55:31
- He goes, well, no, no, that'd be murder. I said, why? He said, because it, oh.
- 55:42
- Do you see? You just have to think about it. You got to bring the truth of God into the situation, let people think through these things.
- 55:49
- We don't kill human beings because they're dependent upon other human beings. In that case, five -year -olds are in trouble because they're still dependent.
- 55:58
- My 12 -year -old, trust me, is very dependent. My 17 -year -old, trust me, is still dependent and sometimes it hurts.
- 56:12
- Right? Yeah. What are we demanding? Immediate justice.
- 56:20
- I'll say this as quickly as I can. What are we demanding? Immediate justice. Brothers and sisters, listen, please.
- 56:27
- Whatever you are willing to bend for, your legislature will give you.
- 56:38
- If you tell your legislature, look, I just want you to stop killing babies that are 20 weeks and above.
- 56:46
- Like, just stop killing those babies. Just preserve their lives. Just save their lives. Please give us those. Guess what they do?
- 56:51
- They pass bills protecting babies at 20 and above. If you say,
- 56:58
- I'll accept cleaner abortion clinics, then guess what they do? They give you cleaner abortion clinics.
- 57:06
- Listen, I want to say, and I have to say this because people often misrepresent us in this. When you say you want immediate justice, it does not mean that you're not also thankful to God for every baby that he saved through incremental legislation.
- 57:22
- Listen, my favorite philosopher in Christian history, Cornelius Van Til, says that God can strike a straight blow with a crooked stick.
- 57:31
- Right? It doesn't mean that we should go looking around for crooked sticks to hit with. Incrementalism is a crooked stick.
- 57:41
- Why? It's inconsistent. What you're saying is, I will accept the murder of all these children as long as you save some.
- 57:50
- What we ought to be saying is, thank you for saving those babies, now save the rest of them now.
- 57:57
- Why? Because it's murder. My friend, my friend, my hero of the faith, my mentor,
- 58:07
- Dr. James White, is famous for saying something you all already probably know. Inconsistency, what, is the sign of a failed argument.
- 58:19
- Inconsistency is a sign of a failed argument. How could we say to our legislature, I accept what you've done when you've now protected children from 20 and above.
- 58:30
- The rest, I understand, can't save them. What we ought to say as consistent
- 58:38
- Christians with the facts on our side, is it's murder when you tear the arms and legs and heads off of little girls with malice of forethought.
- 58:48
- When a mother walks in to pay an assassin to destroy her little boy in her womb with malice of forethought, that's murder.
- 58:57
- It doesn't matter if it's four weeks, three weeks, ten weeks, eleven weeks, that's a human being. And in any other case in our judiciary, if you killed that child with malice of forethought, it would be murder.
- 59:08
- And so we should call to our legislature, we should call to them with this, that's a human being, it's murder to kill it, we demand justice now.
- 59:18
- Now, incremental legislation, thank you Lord for every baby saved.
- 59:24
- But inconsistency is a sign of a failed argument. I want to say this just quickly about that. If we go to our legislatures and we say to them, we just want abortion to be unthinkable.
- 59:35
- We want it to just be done and over with. Don't we understand legislatures will say, well, what is it?
- 59:44
- Is it murder? Is it murder? No, no, no, it's not murder. Well, what should the punishment be for it?
- 59:52
- Well, we don't want any punishment. Okay, so we don't want any punishment and it's not murder.
- 59:59
- What am I going to legislate against? You see, it's, it's, it's defeating.
- 01:00:05
- If you say it's not murder and we don't want any punishment for it, then guess what the legislator says? Then it's fine to keep happening.
- 01:00:13
- And if you had a situation where your legislator said no more abortion, but there are no penalties and it's not murder, guess what you still have on every corner?
- 01:00:22
- Abortion clinics. Why? There's no penalty and it's not murder. We will,
- 01:00:27
- I believe, have victories in this fight when we start calling it what it is.
- 01:00:32
- That's a human. That's murder. Immediate justice. I already went through some failures of the pro -life movement.
- 01:00:42
- What is our particular strategy? Most of you already know this. One, frontlines work, and this is where I want to ask you please to think with me here, please.
- 01:00:52
- Frontlines work. First, frontlines. Bring the gospel with local churches. Two, the abortion clinics.
- 01:01:00
- Bring the gospel with local churches to your local abortion clinics. That's the first thing.
- 01:01:06
- Can I ask you to help me with something? This is it. We already know many of us are already a part of this work.
- 01:01:13
- Some of you guys are just getting involved. What I'm asking you to do is when you go home, be committed to not simply doing the work on your own.
- 01:01:23
- Be committed to sitting down and talking with local pastors in your area with respect, love, compassion, and grace.
- 01:01:36
- Point to what God is doing in this country through the gospel at abortion mills.
- 01:01:44
- Bring a baby with you whose life was saved through this work.
- 01:01:51
- Bring pictures. Bring the Word of God. Call them to come. Point them to End Abortion Now as a resource.
- 01:01:58
- Free training. No excuse. Well, I don't have the tools to go to the abortion mill. Free resources.
- 01:02:05
- Right? I don't know how to contact a legislator. That'll take too long. Push the button. Right? What is
- 01:02:12
- End Abortion Now? Well, we're Apologia Church. It's a website that says endabortionnow .com and it has a way for you to get trained and to get resources and to contact your legislature.
- 01:02:20
- That's it. Now you have, watch, a resource you own. You can go back home and say, here's the resource
- 01:02:27
- I want to give to you so you can get involved in this fight too with a consistent message together. That's the call.
- 01:02:34
- Join with us in mobilizing to bring the gospel and to get other churches involved too.
- 01:02:39
- That's the call. Are you with me? That is the call. Sorry I tricked you. That's the call.
- 01:02:45
- You're coming here. The goal is to get you to join with us in this fight to get other churches involved. That's the call.
- 01:02:52
- That's the first thing. Get to the front lines. What do we say? This is fairly simple. Doesn't take long.
- 01:02:58
- Most of you guys, you could be up here teaching this. You're much better at this than I am. One, what do we call abortion?
- 01:03:04
- Murder. When we go to the abortion mill, what do we say to them? God commands you not to murder your child. Please don't murder your child.
- 01:03:10
- Have mercy on your child today. Remind them of the law of God. Remind them of what they're suppressing. Remind them of the face of God in this moment and point them to it.
- 01:03:20
- Don't murder your child. Second thing is we preach the gospel. We tell them about the hope that's in Jesus Christ, about the forgiveness in Jesus Christ.
- 01:03:27
- We call them to repentance and faith. And the third thing is we offer to help them. We love them.
- 01:03:32
- We tell them we'll serve them. We'll adopt their children. We'll take them into our homes. We'll pay for whatever they need. We say three things.
- 01:03:39
- One, this is murder. Two, you need Jesus. And three, we will help you. People say, is that it?
- 01:03:47
- Yeah, that's it. That's it. There's no script. You go out there and pour your heart out over those three things.
- 01:03:53
- That's it. Next, second is the media strategy. We need to collectively come together as a church to put as much content that is gospel -saturated before our culture that we possibly can.
- 01:04:07
- The whole purpose of end abortion now in this movement is to provide a means to launch all of that.
- 01:04:12
- So let me ask you for this. And Marcus would hit me if I didn't do this right now. If you have successes, if you have saves, if you have stories, if you have video, you send them to us.
- 01:04:24
- Send them to us so we can get them in front of the whole world. Send them to Marcus.
- 01:04:30
- He'll cut them up. He lives at the studio anyway. He'll put them together and put them on end abortion now so the world can see.
- 01:04:39
- They can go there, read the stories, be encouraged. And whatever you have by way of content, we want the world to see it.
- 01:04:45
- So if you get content and footage, if you would, give it to us and we'll do what we can to make sure that the world sees it.
- 01:04:52
- We put out a video recently. It was seen by over a million people in 24 hours. When we live stream from the abortion mills, sometimes within a couple of hours, it crosses over 100 ,000 people's feeds.
- 01:05:06
- Listen, that's the power of what God has given to us today. It is powerful.
- 01:05:12
- Use it. Stop hiding. Broadcast this truth around the world. And last, our strategy is legislature.
- 01:05:20
- We want to see immediate justice for these children. We want to see states criminalize abortion at the local level.
- 01:05:27
- We have a means to do that on our website, endabortionnow .com.
- 01:05:32
- It's a service we never planned for, but now we've paid for and we're using, so please use it with us.
- 01:05:38
- It's yours. It's $10 ,000. We didn't know it was possible.
- 01:05:44
- We decided as a church to invest in it. It's sitting there. It's sitting there, and it's a way to communicate to your local legislature like that.
- 01:05:54
- Some of you guys know, right? How many of you guys sent it off? How long did it take you? 30 seconds, two minutes, and what happened?
- 01:06:04
- You punched your information in, you clicked send, it sent a message out prepared, pre -written to local legislators in your area.
- 01:06:14
- Some of you guys got messages back from them. Some of you guys got handwritten messages back from them. That's how you communicate.
- 01:06:19
- Listen, if they think their constituents, if they think their constituents will stand behind them when they act courageous and uphold justice, then they will.
- 01:06:31
- But listen, if all they hear is the noise from the other side, and believe me, they are noisy.
- 01:06:36
- If all they hear is a noise from the other side, and they hear their opposition, and they don't hear your voice of support, they're not standing for justice.
- 01:06:45
- So what do you need to do? Take that page from End Abortion Now, contact your local legislature, own it, let everybody you know in your social media network, let everybody you know in your family, and church, and friends, let them all know about it, and let them all use it, and tell them to have others use it.
- 01:07:04
- That way, listen, in a state, the legislature will know that it has thousands of constituents supporting.
- 01:07:15
- Now, I'm done, except these four points. One, love your neighbor.
- 01:07:22
- What's God's greatest commandments? Love God. Love your neighbor.
- 01:07:28
- This is a love -your -neighbor kind of thing. Love your neighbor. Why do we go to the abortion mills?
- 01:07:34
- Because we love our neighbor, and we love God. This is a love -your -neighbor kind of thing.
- 01:07:41
- That's why we do it. We don't do it out of spite or pride. We do it out of love for our neighbors.
- 01:07:48
- Jesus commands us to love our neighbors, and love for your neighbor means doing something.
- 01:07:55
- Jesus tells us, Matthew 25, that on the last day, people are going to come to Him and say,
- 01:08:02
- When did we? When did we visit you in prison? When did we clothe you?
- 01:08:07
- When did we give you a drink? When did we do this? And Jesus will say to His people on that last day, as He stands before the watching world, vindicating
- 01:08:19
- His people on their good deeds, their works, He will say, What? As much as you did it for the least of these, you did it unto
- 01:08:28
- Me. Every baby that you try to save, every life you try to preserve as a
- 01:08:35
- Christian outside of an abortion mill, that is for the sake of Christ and God's glory.
- 01:08:44
- When did we try to save your life outside of an abortion mill? Proverbs 24, if someone needs a specific word from God, here's your word from God.
- 01:09:01
- Proverbs 24 10, if you faint in the day of adversity, your strength is small, rescue those who are being taken away to death.
- 01:09:08
- Where is that happening? Hold back those who are stumbling to the slaughter. Where is that happening?
- 01:09:15
- If you say, behold, we didn't know this, does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?
- 01:09:20
- Does not he who keeps watch over your soul know it? And will he not repay man according to his work?
- 01:09:26
- You realize that that's a threat? I didn't know
- 01:09:33
- God. I didn't know. I didn't know I could do something.
- 01:09:38
- I didn't know I could fight. I didn't know I could be a part of this. God calls us to love and care for our neighbors, and the greatest way you can display it in the
- 01:09:52
- Holocaust that we live in is by standing up and telling the truth, going to rescue these children, being bold.
- 01:10:02
- This, I will say this, this ministry is the most heart -wrenching, awful thing ever, ever.
- 01:10:15
- But we have to be willing to fight against this evil with all of our might so that our kids and our grandkids don't have to face this monster.
- 01:10:29
- The kingdom of God grows, Jesus says, like a mustard seed. That's its pattern.
- 01:10:36
- It's a mustard seed to a large tree. It seems insignificant. You can barely see it in your hand.
- 01:10:43
- Jesus says that the kingdom of God grows like that. This little thing seems like nothing. All of a sudden it becomes a tree that's bigger than a man.
- 01:10:51
- And this room right now is a small gathering of believers from across the country.
- 01:10:59
- We don't look like much. But God's pattern in history is mustard seeds to large trees.
- 01:11:09
- Do you know that every time in history God has done amazing things, powerful things that have literally changed the world?
- 01:11:15
- He's done it through insignificant people telling big truths. Right? Insignificant people telling big truths in the face of serious opposition.
- 01:11:27
- And it never looked like it would win. It never looked like it was gonna be a success. And that's why
- 01:11:33
- God does it. I believe in the way that he does. He wants to make himself famous through slaying giants with little stones.
- 01:11:41
- That's what he does. Let's pray. Father, thank you,
- 01:11:47
- Lord, for this night. Please use what was said for your glory, Lord. I couldn't do justice to this.
- 01:11:53
- I don't think anyone can. All I can ask, Father, is if you would use it, Lord, to bring you glory, to change the world with the gospel.
- 01:12:04
- Please, God, give us perseverance, courage, strength, and the ability to tell the truth.
- 01:12:12
- Please, God, raise up your church across the country and in this room.
- 01:12:18
- I pray for all those committing to this fight that you would give us the ability, Lord, to stand where we need to stand, to be humble and to speak the truth.
- 01:12:29
- And we do ask, Lord Jesus, not that we have the rest of our lives to fight this awful monstrosity.
- 01:12:40
- We ask, God, that you would end it now, please, and use us to do it. We pray for all those watching right now online, you would open their eyes to the truth, you would challenge them, that you'd get them involved with their church to do this fight with us.
- 01:12:56
- Please, God, bless this movement. Not for our sake, but for yours. In Jesus' name.
