Pornography, Deepfakes, and the Violation of Women

Stream to like create a pattern of behavior where i really want especially women on twitch to feel safer like i've never done anything like that. I've never done anything like that on a stream and we don't tolerate any sex behavior in the chat.

We ban it on site and uh and like i've done this consistently over and over and over. And then at 2 a .m you know i've been i've been watching so much i've been reading so much a .i stuff. I'm reading all this stuff about a .i and and uh and d-fake music d-fake art and everything and i'm in these discords.

And i was i just feel so embarrassing to admit but i was on porn hub dude i was on a regular normal website and there was an ad. There's an ad on every video for this so i know other people must be clicking it because.

It's on every video for d-fake thing. Yo this is probably the stupidest thing i've ever done. Genuinely probably. And i'm sure everyone in the world would tell me not to go live right now. I'm sure everyone would.

I'm genuinely i'm like don't even want to look at my phone. I'm sure everybody would. But i wanted to go live because i want to go live. Because this is what pain looks like. This is what it looks like.

Okay this is what it looks like. Internet. The constant exploitation and objectification of women. It's exhausting. It's exhausting. Atrioc for showing it to thousands of people. The people dm-ing me pictures of myself from that from that website.

You all. This is what it looks like. This is what the pain looks like. Okay. Why. Why. If you are able to look at women who are not selling themselves or benefiting off of being seen sexually they're not benefiting.

They're not selling it they are not platforming it themselves. If you are able to look at that you are the problem. You see women as an object. You should not be okay doing that. And it should not be a part of my job to have to pay money to get this stuff taken down.

It should not be part of my job to be harassed to see pictures of me nude spread around. It should not be something that is found on the internet. It shouldn't be. That's that shouldn't be a part of my job.

And the fact that it is is exhausting. And the person that made that website i'm going to sue you i promise you with every part of my soul. I'm going to f***ing sue you. That's all i have to say. I know i shouldn't have gone live.

But i couldn't do it. I'm so exhausted. And i think you guys need to know what pain looks like because this is it. This is what it looks like to feel violated. This is what it looks like to feel taken advantage of.

This is what it looks like to see yourself naked against your will being spread all over the internet. This is what it looks like. That's it. That's all i have to say goodbye. I don't condone the behavior of anybody involved in this.

Reading Reactions to the Atrioc Deepfake Scandal

Tell you a random dude's opinion on all this. I figured i would just show you some of the tweets that i thought were poignant and powerful uh and read them together starting with pokey who said. Stop sexualizing people without their consent.

That's it. That's the tweet. Next tweet was from ray who said. It should be illegal to profit off of somebody's likeness in sex work without consent. Whether it's fake or not talking about. It will bring those sites more attention but i hope this helps uh take a step forward in the right direction so that a law can be made to protect people from being used in this way.

Next tweet is from sweet anita who said. This story was how i found out that i'm on this website. I literally choose to pass up millions by not going into sex work. And some random cheeto encrusted porn addict solicits my body without my consent instead.

Don't know whether to cry break stuff or laugh at this point. There are currently on the internet.

Four million pornographic websites four million being trafficked on a daily basis by 80 million people. More people are tuned into those websites than everybody on netflix twitter and amazon combined.

What are they looking for. Well if you ask them they would be looking for some kind of gratification some kind of some kind of love some kind of meaningful relationship. It's a fool's paradise. They're like ponce de leon trying to find the fountain of youth.

It's not there.

Pornography as Human Depravity and Spiritual Destruction

This mess of a situation that started with atriok leaving a browser tab open that showed he was looking at a website that created sexual deep fakes of popular streamers including some he knew in real life and was friends with highlights just how destructive pornography is not just to those who consume it but also to countless women who are victims of it.

The woman in atriox apology video is his wife. She is crying throughout atriox video clearly devastated by his betrayal. And many of the female streamers who are exploited by this website are experiencing unimaginable psychological turmoil from seeing extremely inappropriate and disturbing deep fakes of themselves that are being sent to them from random people.

Of course the website that atriox joined represents the depth of human depravity and thankfully the creator of that website took it down after all this controversy. Although all of these streamers are right to condemn the immorality of creating sexualized deep fakes of other people none of them identify the root of the problem as pornography itself.

In his apology atriox even described the website he was initially on as an extremely normal website. However websites with adult content all represent human depravity and sin not just the ones that take this depravity to an even greater extreme.

Sexual sin is actually.

The Deadliness and Addictiveness of Sexual Sin

If there was a sin that's segregated that is pulled out as extraordinarily dangerous it is sexual sin there's indications in places in proverbs where you don't recover you don't recover and your reproach never leaves you.

So you have got to become convinced that god's word is true this is deadly. It will affect your soul your psyche it will affect you physically it will affect everything about you and all the people around you.

And it is deadly deadly deadly deadly deadly. It will kill you it will kill you. And it is more addictive than anything you could ever dream of.

Any drug it is more addictive than that. We live in a culture that has so normalized sexual sin that even many professing christians have become numb to it accepting immodesty and even.

Nudity outside of marriage as acceptable. You're an actress you're on this show where you are doing sex scenes and cursing and doing things that a lot of people who are christian would probably see that and be like oh well you're not a real christian because you're doing sex scenes and you're doing this.

And in a similar way sometimes i'll you know for my job i have to show skin or like i'll get photographed in like underwear or lingerie or like something and people are like well that's not a good representation because you're not modest and.

You're not this we live in a pornographic culture and that's one of the things that makes it very difficult to deal with pornography. We've been so inundated with pornography that we're desensitized to pornography and and that line um at which we will say that's pornographic um has been drawn so far out into the realm of the inappropriate that we have people who dress pornographically um and they're not bothered by it.

And we're not bothered by it anymore. So one thing that i say to people in this area is that we need to recognize that we are living in a pornographic culture. And the reason i say that is because part of dealing with the roots of pornography are acknowledging the fact that we have been desensitized to it and acknowledging the fact that my problem with pornography let's say that there's a pornography scale of of of one to ten and ten is you know full-on you know i'm i'm engaging in you know the the worst um examples and extremes of pornography um well i i think culturally we probably live every day around a three or four just in commercials and just in you know and just just in the just in things that we become desensitized to.

And so if i'm living at a three or four and a five or a six really doesn't bother me anymore then when i get to a nine my goal in dealing with somebody who's at a nine is not to say uh come back to a five or six my goal with them is to say i want you to recognize not just that this is an issue but that even those things that are down here in the areas that we're not even bothered by are issues.

Not so that the person becomes you know just afraid of looking around but so that the person becomes aware of their need for christ to cleanse their minds. Not just of the website where i'm watching pornographic sex but also of my lack of sensitivity to those everyday examples of.

Pornography that are around me. However as christians we should not accept the normalization of sexual immorality. We need to fight sexual immorality with all our strength knowing that if we do not it can and will destroy us in the same way it is destroying the lives of the streamers.

Repentance, Assurance, and Examining the Faith

We saw at the beginning of this video as a woman i think porn is a disgrace and i used to watch a lot of porn. To be honest i started watching porn when i was like 11. I thought that's how you learned how to have sex.

I was watching um abusive porn. To be honest you know when i was like 14 and i you know thought i was one of the guys and would talk about it and think it was really cool for for for not having a problem with it and not seeing why it was bad.

And i think it really destroyed my brain and um i feel incredibly devastated that i was exposed to so much porn. I think that i had like sleep paralysis and these like almost like night terror slash just nightmares because of it some.

Christians might struggle with this sin their entire lives without complete victory but what's most important is that christians continue to see this as a grave sin to be fought against and never as something to simply accept as normal.

If you lack assurance because of this sin. I hope you can be comforted knowing that if you hate this sin and are fighting against it with all your might that should give you assurance that god has worked in your heart and given you a new nature that wants to obey him even if the struggle is extremely difficult.

But make no mistake the battle will be difficult and it is one that we must never stop fighting not by our own strength but by the power.

Of god and the holy spirit. Now how does the apostle paul deal with assurance. How does he talk to these people so that they might truly know that they are saved or truly know that they are not. Well we get to verse five.

He says this test yourselves. Look at that test yourselves to see if you are in the faith. And then he repeats himself basically examine yourselves. He doesn't necessarily ask them to go back to a point in time.

Even though in counseling that's important to discuss someone's conversion experience. Very important. But the issue isn't so much what did you do back then. But what are you doing now. Because what you are doing now will determine what really happened back then.

Because if god begins a work in you he continues it. If he starts a work the work will persevere. If you have repented you'll continue to repent. If you have believed you're believing. Now because he who began a good work will finish that work you're going to see a style of life that although it is intermittent with sin it is not habitual sin.

There is a sense that light has come. There is a sense of as a style of life although not perfect. As a style of life this man is walking in a way that conforms to what god has told us about his person.

And this man is walking in a way that conforms to what god has revealed about his will style of life. Now he says if we say do you know what your profession of faith in jesus christ is worth absolutely zero.

Because all the time here he's going to contradict if we say he says if we say and yet if we say we know god that we have fellowship with god that we abide in christ that we're christians. We're born again if we use all this terminology and yet we live a style of life that does not conform to the person and.

Will of god we lie. Let's be praying for all of these streamers that god would open their eyes to the gospel of jesus christ and that they would find peace hope and joy as friends of god. Thank.
