- New Testament. In other words, the Old Testament does have a meaning, but we have more information as Revelation was progressive and it continued to be revealed to us.

- We have more information in the New Testament than the Old Testament. But many of those that want to believe in false beliefs like Mormonism or Jehovah Witnesses, you're going to see that they emphasize much of the

- New Testament over the Old Testament. In other words, when we look at the two major parts of Scripture, the

- New Testament is going to be the one we're going to look at as more authoritative and as explaining the

- Old Testament. Why do people go to the Old Testament for a lot of beliefs when they want to teach things that are wrong?

- Because they want to take things that are either cultural or historical and try to give it new meanings so that they could justify different doctrines and positions that they have today.
