Jakes, Kenneth Copeland, Benny Hinn, Paula White, Creflo Dollar, and countless other so -called

Christian teachers have become rich selling you your dream life in the name of Jesus Christ.

According to the scripture, if you give to God, you ought to be so blessed you don't know what to do with yourself. When you give to Joel Osteen, you're lending to God, and God will repay you with health and finances.

I love that scripture. It says, when you help those in need, you are lending to the Lord, and He will repay you.

That's what you do each week or every time you give. You are lending to God, and I know you've seen in your own life,

God knows how to repay you. When you give to T .D. Jakes, you're giving to God as a business partner who then becomes indebted to you.

See, God is my business partner, and my giving to Him is His cut. And if I rip off His cut, why should

He bless me? I started giving on that level so that God would owe me. Oh, y 'all don't hear what

I'm saying? You can't handle that. I started giving on the level where I put God in debt, and God said,

I'll owe no man. I started giving on the money that I wanted to make. I started giving on a deal that hadn't closed yet, and that God had to open up the windows of heaven and pull me out of blessing because He wasn't going to be in debt to me.

When you give to Joyce Meyer, you get a receipt that you can cash in when you have a need.

When I talked with Dr. Roberts today and we talked about this seed faith thing, he said something awesome. He said, the Bible says giving and receiving, but he said,

God has taught me by studying that word receiving that another way to say that word is receipting.

The word receiving means receipting. And so he said, when you give, you get a receipt in heaven that when you have a need, you can then go with your receipt and say, you see,

God, I have got my receipt from my sowing, and now I have a need and I'm cashing in my receipt.

After you give to Kenneth Copeland, you can call for the return on your tithing and giving over the years.

And now is the time to call for the return on your tithing and on your giving and your sowing over the years.

Hallelujah. Call for it. You have a right to it. It's laid up in your heavenly account and it belongs to you and no one else.

You cannot stop me from dreaming. Oh, and remember, you need to give money, not prayer, time, or anything else.

Find you some piece of money. Find you something to sow. If it's money, you need whatever the harvest is, you need to come up.

If it's money, you're going to have to sow money. You can't talk about, I'm going to sow my time. You're just going to get a vacation.

No money. Until the seed is sown, the harvest is not in view. Want a miracle?

According to these teachers, God is in the business of giving you exactly what you want.

And all you need to do is demonstrate your trust in God by giving generously to their ministries.

I want you to go to the phone, dial the number on the screen, and simply say, I'm one of the 1 ,000.

I'm going to faith in, somehow in 90 days, a $1 ,000 seed. You may already have the 1 ,000.

It may be something you put aside for retirement, or a college, or a vacation.

You may have put some money aside that nobody knows about, and God's given you a picture. It may be in the bottom of your closet.

Maybe in a sock. Maybe between your mattresses. It may be an account that nobody knows about, but you and God.

That's not your harvest. That $1 ,000 won't get you anywhere until God touches it.

When you become a Christian and give to God, God will bless you with health, wealth, and success.

But here's how I feel about it. If you don't want to have nothing, it's okay with me. Why fight about it?

Why would anybody want to get mad at somebody because they wanted to believe that God wanted them to be blessed, or healed, or to operate in the gifts of the

Spirit? I'm just taking a little bit of time to show you how ridiculous this has gotten. It's just ridiculous beyond even being able to explain it.

Millions of people all across the world love this message and enthusiastically sign up to this version of Christianity.

Many of these people are desperate and in need, and will gamble their money for a chance at receiving a miracle.

But you worry at all that sometimes your message will be heard by someone in the most dire circumstances.

It's a sort of roulette wheel. A sort of gamble with God. Okay, well, I can't pay the rent, but I'll give it to Joyce and we'll see what happens.

Do you worry at all that that may happen? But these teachers don't care. Do you worry at all that that may happen? I totally know

I don't worry about that. And even encourage these kinds of people to continue giving their life savings away.

The blessing is in what you got left. And if you will sow what you got left,

God said I'll give you back whatever it was. Making these teachers richer, and richer, and richer.

Now you drive a wonderful car, and you have a plane, and you have all of the accoutrements of success.

This is the worst kind of scam because it's done in the name of Jesus and prays on the weak and helpless.

But of course, this is not at all the true gospel of Jesus Christ. True Christians come to Jesus not to receive blessings in return, but because they are helpless, hopeless sinners who deserve the wrath of God for their sins.

Because God rescues Joseph in order to rescue

Judah, in order to rescue Israel, in order to rescue me.

This is not about material wealth. This is about rescue and redemption.

This is about God in his providence orchestrating all of history in order to bring about that which we need more than anything else.

And that is to be rescued from God. But these prosperity teachers don't teach this because it's not nearly as popular.

You better believe the topic was not the gospel. The topic was not, you know, come and have your sins forgiven.

Come and repent and believe. No, you know what it was. Come get your blessing. Come get your miracle.

Come get your deliverance. Come get your... And the list goes on and on.

These are the things that thousands flock to. True Christians are willing to experience suffering, hardship, and persecution for standing firm upon biblical truth that the world absolutely hates.

And now Pastor Coates, as I understand it, has been arrested and has been detained.

But these prosperity teachers avoid controversy. First of all, is your thinking evolved on this? Evolved and evolving.

Evolved and evolving. So they don't experience persecution. And they certainly don't teach that suffering and persecution are normal for Christians to experience.

The key to being loved by the world and attracting millions of followers who will give you millions and millions of dollars is to always smile, always encourage.

When you touch the core and you get down to the seed, you have then gotten to the place where you can find as fullest and best potential.

And always focus on God's desire to give people health, wealth, success, and everything else they naturally want.

And the key to being unpopular and unliked by the world is to preach the entire

Bible and the true gospel of sin, hell, repentance, and faith alone in Jesus alone for salvation.
