Frozen Road Trip Dividing Line

Started off with a little report on the desert rat traveling in sub-freezing weather, then discussed such things as Joe Rogan, Provisionism, guys pretending to be gals, Biden's inevitable ultra-leftist SCOTUS appointment and the danger of self-driving cars. Quite a range of things!

You know, when you get an important text, right? I mean, as Rich says, go, you have to respond to that one a little bit later on.
00:48
I shouldn't be looking at the microphone, should I? No, the microphone. Yeah, hey, it is a
00:55
Friday, and we're going to call it Frigid Friday. It's actually 33 degrees here, which is the warmest for days.
01:04
And it's sunny outside. But every once in a while, you're going to hear a woo in the background, because it is windy.
01:13
And I am sitting next to a huge ice cube, also known as the lake.
01:19
I have not seen, honestly, I have not seen a completely frozen lake in a long time.
01:26
And I have some questions being in a, I've lived in Arizona since 1974.
01:34
And therefore, well, a lake is a weird thing, just having water in it.
01:44
But why are some lakes smooth, and you can, like, go skating on them?
01:51
And then this lake, it's like it froze with the wind blowing.
01:59
And so it's not smooth at all. I don't think you could, I don't see anybody skating on it, and I don't think you could.
02:05
Actually, because it's not, how does that happen? The sort of depend on the first big freeze day of whether it's windy or not.
02:14
I honestly have no earthly idea. I don't know. But yes,
02:20
I am, we are parked next, I mean, I've looked at this entire campground, and I think the guy over there is closer to the lake than I am.
02:31
And that means he's probably got it colder than I do. That's about it, because the wind is coming straight off that lake.
02:40
And yeah, in fact, we're headed for Conway, Arkansas, and the class next weekend on apologetics.
02:50
And I got an email from the folks in charge today, making sure that I was aware of the fact that the night that I arrived, they are expecting single digits at night.
03:11
So I think it's nine, so that's, at least that's a very high single digit.
03:17
That's just, and so once again, we are proving that last year,
03:30
I think it was around May of this year, when May, June, when
03:35
Rich and I were making decisions about this unit that I'm sitting in, and how we're going to do this stuff, we were clueless.
03:48
In fact, I mentioned this today to Rich, and he was like, really? I don't remember that. I'm like,
03:53
I do, but I wasn't really thinking too much of it either. But this unit has what's called the
04:00
Arctic 4 treatment or options.
04:08
I don't know, but the point is, and I remember, I've been underneath this thing.
04:13
When you RV, you see pretty much everything, packaged, thank you. And when you get underneath this thing, it's solid underneath.
04:23
You can't look up and see bunches of, it's insulated.
04:29
And sitting out here, I know it's insulated. I've already hit 14 degrees when
04:37
I was in Springfield or was that in Oklahoma City? I think it was
04:43
Oklahoma City. Anyway, so nine isn't that much colder, but the thing's the wind.
04:49
And when I see people around here, there's probably 60 units in this park right now.
04:55
And you wonder, in January, why most of these people are working construction nearby?
05:01
And that's what I'm finding, a lot of parks, they're on the map, but they don't really want you to come in unless you're going to be staying for a month or two months, basically.
05:12
And this is just how a lot of people live. This is what they live in and how they do it. And if they're going to be here for a while, they put skirts down to stop the wind from going underneath the unit, because how many times have you driven down the freeway and it says bridge freezes before road service, because the air can get underneath it.
05:32
And so anyway, we're all insulated down there and my tanks, like the water tank and the waste tanks, things like that, have heating pads on them.
05:44
So, and they're on. So, because that could cause lots of problems.
05:51
And Rich thought it was a little bit weird back in, I forget, I think it was like November, but I was like, we need to buy this.
05:57
What was this? A heated hose. Yes, a heated hose. And it's leaking a lot at one point.
06:05
I think it's missing a washer. We're going to have to play with that, but I can make it work. And so I'm using it.
06:10
And so, yeah, I'm actually looking forward to next week. You'll notice that I'm wearing one of my
06:16
Coogee sweaters, but this is a cashmere Coogee sweater, which means it is outrageously warm.
06:24
And there are very few times when I can actually wear this without just simply dying. This is one of them. You put this under a nice jacket like I've got that doesn't let any wind through, and oh, yeah.
06:36
We're ready for the Arctic, the Polar Express, at least your core is.
06:41
So, yeah, here we are out here in the nice cold. And tonight we're going to start speaking on the reliability of scripture.
06:48
And I'm not just going to do my regular stuff on that. I mean, we're going to cover most of that, but, you know, the reliability, sufficiency, and nature of scripture.
07:04
I think a lot of folks, I had a great time in Springfield on Wednesday night when
07:12
I spoke there. And I've linked to the Facebook, Revelation 5 and 6.
07:25
And one of the things that came up then was over the past couple of years with all the changes in society and changes, therefore, in the church, we have really been forced to once again recognize the importance of the sufficiency of scripture, not just simply the inerrancy of scripture, though there you lose the one, you lose the other.
07:59
And so I'm going to be dealing a little bit more with that. I mean, I haven't commented publicly on the fanatic apostasy.
08:09
If you know what that is, the gentleman who, I guess his stage name was fanatic, very important,
08:16
I guess, in the early Christian rap period. I'll admit I had never heard of him before, but that's not overly talking, given my musical tastes in my background.
08:29
But I listened to the video that he put out talking about,
08:35
I mean, the guy has a master's from Westminster, Philadelphia. And so I was hoping for some substance that I could dig into that you could respond to.
08:50
There was no substance. That may be purposeful. I've been informed that he's writing a book, but there are a lot of people who've been impacted by that.
09:04
And it all goes back to what hooked me and John Cooper up. And that was the interview that he did where some,
09:11
I've even forgotten which one of the many, had apostatized, deconstructed.
09:17
Let's use a biblical term, had apostatized, had entered into apostasy. That's falling away from the faith.
09:25
That's the biblical term. There's no deconstructed anywhere in scripture. Someone had left the faith and CBN interviewed
09:36
John about it. And John was like, musicians tend to do this because they don't tend to be involved in the church.
09:43
And you shouldn't be listening to us anyways. You should be listening to your pastor. And it's all about sufficiency of scripture.
09:49
And that was what made me aware of the fact that there's a guy out there that's got super solid grounds and he's in Christian music.
10:01
And that's how we ended up getting all hooked up and stuff like that. Anyway, the issue of the sufficiency of scripture is going to be central over the next couple of days as we meet with the folks.
10:17
As a matter of fact, there was a couple that I briefly talked to as I was pulling out of the parking lot in Springfield of the church.
10:26
And they said they're coming up here. So I'm looking forward to seeing them here.
10:32
And over the years, we've had a number of people who've traveled to be here at Covenant Grace Church.
10:38
And we get started at 7 o 'clock tonight if you happen to be in the area or whatever. I do need to say that because after I was in Springfield, I saw a bunch of people on social media going,
10:49
I didn't know you were in Springfield. Sorry, didn't mean to. Certainly, we're not trying to keep that information from you.
10:58
There's a calendar with the events and stuff like that on it. But Rich has to wring that information out of me anyways.
11:07
So maybe we'll go from there. Okay, so we're on Odyssey. Oh, by the way,
11:13
I read recently that if you're touching your face, it means you're lying. I might as well follow this up.
11:25
By the way, why are there so many geese? I mean, at night you can hear them.
11:31
There's a flock of them flying right there. Why are they on a frozen lake?
11:37
What are they eating on a frozen lake? All the plants are gone. They're all frozen solid.
11:45
So I'm not really sure what the attraction is.
11:50
Are they just waiting for the first warm smell? I don't know. But I just noticed that there's a bunch of them here.
11:57
And you can hear them from long, long distance away. And I see them flying around out here.
12:05
So it's like, why? I mean, I see them actually out there. Well, I did see two bald eagles. They were huge, humongous beasties out in the middle of this reservoir lake thing.
12:16
I'm not sure what exactly it is. And bald eagles. And I had not seen a bald eagle in a very, very long time.
12:24
I think bald eagles happen to be. Anyway, I just got distracted.
12:31
I've been seeing comments since the last dividing line. I also think someone mentioned something about looking away from the camera.
12:41
Well, first of all, the camera is in one of these light ring things. I don't like looking at it for very long. Because you end up with these circles all over the place.
12:47
And you try to look at something else. And you can't see what in the world you're reading. And then I'm in a travel trailer.
12:55
And if the windows are open, there's people driving by. And there's things happening. And so.
13:03
But after we did the last program. Where, you know,
13:09
I responded. Necessarily. To the amazing abuse of hermeneutics and exegesis by Layton Flowers.
13:23
In at least the first half of the debate. We had with Pastor Hughes.
13:31
And I know what kind of responses you're going to get from that. People who don't have an exegetical response.
13:40
Today tend to respond with charges of arrogance.
13:46
How arrogant of you. Because they've been deeply influenced by post -modernism. How arrogant of you to think that your interpretation is better than somebody else's.
13:56
Because they can't deal with the substance of the argument. That is that Layton Flowers turned the text on its head.
14:03
The flow of the text on its head. Cut parts out that don't fit with where he's trying to go.
14:11
And then created this wonderfully polite group of people. Who apart from the grace of God.
14:18
Are the ones who follow the Father. And they did so out of the goodness of their hearts.
14:27
And it's amazing. Because he says that what God does. He makes the gospel available.
14:33
But this is before the gospel is being proclaimed. So without that extension of God's grace.
14:39
I guess it must have been mosaic law. That did that. I don't know.
14:44
It's just so far removed from anything that has a historical foundation.
14:51
But anyhow. I demonstrated all these issues. These problems.
14:57
In regards to Layton's argumentation. And so.
15:04
I've been doing this since the BBS days. Some of you don't know what BBS is.
15:09
We're up in the Baltimore systems back in the. That was the 80's wasn't it?
15:15
Yeah definitely. Late 80's. Mormon echo. And the open bible echo.
15:22
All that kind of stuff. And learned early on. And humans haven't changed much.
15:29
I learned early on. That when you present a strong argument to someone. And they lack the confidence or the background to be able to respond to your argument.
15:38
There are certain directions that people will go. To seek to escape the weight of the argumentation.
15:48
Presenting to you. And that's what you're seeing in these comments.
15:53
Now I haven't been. I think I saw at one point. That Layton did a video.
16:01
Not shocked by that. And I think he and Guillaume. Ended up going back and forth.
16:07
A little bit. On the issue. I think it was because. I had commented to someone.
16:14
Someone had done the. Well he's just predestined to not get it right. As if that's somehow a meaningful argument.
16:21
And I guess. Layton had commented on that. And then he and Guillaume. Went back and forth.
16:29
On that. For a little while. Not very long. It didn't get very far. But it was pointed out.
16:36
That he's an incompatibilist. I'm a compatibilist. And he just can't even.
16:44
Allow for the idea. As I would argue. That in light of Genesis 50.
16:51
Isaiah 10. Acts 4. You have no choices. You're going to believe.
16:58
All the scripture. And scripture alone. This is where you have to go. This is what you're forced to. In light of the biblical text.
17:05
Anyway I had made a comment. That someone who does the. Well I don't care what you say. Because I've just been predetermined to be wrong anyways.
17:12
Just isn't a serious individual. They're not thinking seriously. Because even on the reformed perspective.
17:19
We are held accountable. For what we do. You can say well he doesn't have a place to do that. That's Romans 9.
17:24
That's why he didn't execute Romans 9 either. But the reality is.
17:30
That we believe. That scripture teaches. That you're judged. On the basis of what happens in time.
17:37
On the basis of an eternal decree. Which you don't know anything about. And so the whole. Well I've been determined anyways.
17:44
Is playing as if you can be God. You don't know what you've been determined to do. You don't know what the future is going to look like.
17:51
And the basis of judgment. Is what takes place in time. Not what you theoretically.
17:58
Can come up with. In regards to some eternal decree. That scripture can tell us about. But doesn't tell us what the content of that is.
18:04
Outside of the reality that. It means that God is going to glorify himself. And man.
18:10
Do provisionists. That's scary. Some of the comments that I've seen.
18:17
It's one thing for the people to just rip my lips off. Honestly I don't care. These people don't know me.
18:22
They don't know me from Adam. What they say about me is utterly irrelevant. It just proves my point.
18:29
They're attacking me as an individual. Because they can't deal with me. He's arrogant.
18:36
Let's say that I was. Let's say that it's terribly arrogant. To point out that someone is twisting the scriptures.
18:42
What does that have to do with anything? All you're demonstrating is. You can't refute the argument.
18:48
You don't have. You do not think clearly. It's frightening.
18:53
How many people. How many people. Let me reverse that. It's frightening how few people.
19:01
Care. If they are thinking logically and clearly. That's what's really scary.
19:07
But anyway. There was a screen shot. I saw just before the program was coming on. From someone.
19:14
Named John Chew Public. James White breaks out in a cold sweat.
19:23
Contemplating having to ever debate Dr. Flowers again. Because he knows Dr. Flowers will mop the floor.
19:30
With his comments. If you were to take all of James White's.
19:36
Intellectually honest debate tactics. Away from him. And ask him to sit calmly. Like a mature grown up adult.
19:42
And rationally discuss theological topics. James White would be a blithering. Empty shell of a mess. Because he wouldn't be able to bully his way through.
19:48
With his loud mouth smoke and mirror circus act. Now this is. This is someone who knows.
19:56
That they are the one. Who would never want to have to sit down. Across a table from me. This is called projection.
20:05
And the first person I remember. I wonder if she is still around. I wonder if Rich would remember this name.
20:12
But the first person. That I. Ever tangled with.
20:18
For an extensive period of time. Partly because she was. But again. It was electronically. It was on the old
20:24
Echoes. The BBS system. Was someone named Sue Weidemark. You remember
20:30
Sue Weidemark Rich? Yeah. Uh.
20:36
You do. Alright. I think I did.
20:42
Didn't she come to something we did at the office once? I think she did. Um. But anyway.
20:49
Her whole. Schtick. To borrow the language. Her whole schtick was to project.
20:58
On to you. Everything. That she herself. Was busily engaged in doing.
21:05
While ignoring. The issue. Which with her was Roman Catholicism.
21:13
And that was where. At a young age. I came to understand the term.
21:19
Projection. It is. All over media. It is constant.
21:26
In media. Um. Both sides do it.
21:31
Together. But it is a part of the canon of the left. It is. It's in every book.
21:39
That they have written. About how to do. How to deconstruct western culture.
21:46
Project. Accuse. The other side of what you yourself are doing.
21:52
And hope that the people that are listening. Are too stupid to recognize it. That's what this is.
21:58
This is projection. This guy knows. Um. That it's not a matter of.
22:05
Cheap debating tricks. Or small mirror circus acts. The rest of the stuff.
22:11
Everybody who watched that last video. Knows. We went into the text.
22:17
It wasn't a circus act. It was exegesis. It was the facts. The lexical meanings of words.
22:24
The relationship of words to one another. In John 37. The giving of the father determines.
22:30
The coming to the son. The same Alton. Is the one that is drawn by the father.
22:35
And raised up by the son. And all the rest of this stuff. That's not a circus act.
22:42
That's not bullying. And see these guys know. They can't respond to that. So that's why they call it bullying.
22:50
But they don't want to admit that. I can't engage him. I can't engage his arguments.
22:58
Um. So they project the idea. That he doesn't have arguments. All he has is.
23:06
Cheap debating tricks. Which is what this is. So it's projection. It's fascinating to see.
23:13
Someone posted on Twitter. A bunch of the responses. And I read through them.
23:19
And not one of them. Even pretended. To offer any type of meaningful response.
23:25
And no. I haven't listened to Layton's thing. I haven't finished listening to the debate yet. I'm sort of busy right now.
23:32
And we'll get to it. When time allows. If I can remember.
23:39
To get it on my phone. So that on the next leg. Next four hours. You can throw it in there.
23:45
And catch up with stuff. And we'll try to do that. As we're heading down.
23:51
But even then. I've got more preparation to do for the class next weekend. And then we've got the debate after that.
23:58
And as arrogant as it is. To be honest with you. We have more important things to be doing.
24:05
Than playing some of the games. That are out there. But yeah. That was fascinating.
24:11
Right before I started the program up. I saw.
24:19
The. Defamation league. Language.
24:27
Is severely under attack. And. The wise person.
24:36
Is sitting back. And asking. Who is having to redefine words. And why.
24:42
So we've redefined. Immunization. To mean something.
24:49
That never meant before. And then. We pretend as if. We didn't do it.
24:55
And it's always meant. What it means now. And the scary thing is.
25:01
People's memories seem to be so short. That they buy into this type of stuff.
25:08
And they accept this type of assertion. And once. Once you control the language in that way.
25:16
There's almost. A limit to the power. That you can accrue to yourself. Over other people. So we know that racism has been redefined.
25:26
Racism is no longer. What I was taught. Racism. What was sinful about racism.
25:35
Was the hatred in a person's heart. The bias and prejudice. The pride. That goes with.
25:42
Judging a person. Based upon the color of their skin. Based upon the background.
25:49
Of their ancestors. Whatever else. And now of course. Here's the new definition of racism.
25:58
From the ADL. Racism. The marginalization. And or oppression of people of color.
26:06
Based on a socially. Constructed racial hierarchy. That privileges white people. So. I was somewhere down near South Mountain.
26:24
I think somewhere around. 2006. 2007. I was listening to the
26:30
Michael Medved show. Not sure if it's even still on. It was cancelled in Phoenix.
26:36
A number of years ago. Um. And. He had a person on.
26:44
Who was arguing. That people of color. Specifically black people. Cannot be racist.
26:50
And I remember the first time I heard it. I was just like. How can someone be so.
26:57
Disconnected from reality. And this is now what.
27:02
16 years later. Absolute dogma. And. Obviously.
27:11
What the left wants to do. Is the left wants to institutionalize. In the law. These kinds of.
27:19
Absurd definitions. And I say they're absurd. Because.
27:25
Half the words in here. Are loaded. With utterly. Undefended.
27:34
And indefensible. Concepts behind them. The. The result of this.
27:43
Is what we are seeing in our society. And that is more and more. People of color. Thinking that.
27:49
The law has no meaning for them. They cannot be racist themselves.
27:55
And so they can behave in any way. They choose to behave. And. The result.
28:03
Is what you're seeing in major cities. People fleeing these major cities. As a result. People just walking and stealing things.
28:09
Shooting people. Killing people. It's. Um. And the people who suffer the most.
28:15
Of course are people of color. You do need to realize. BLM always have zero concern.
28:21
About people of color. Unless they happen to be the person of color. That you're talking about. But language.
28:31
There is a. There is a natural development of language. That is perfectly normal.
28:38
And acceptable. It doesn't have anything to do with a rejection of. Of a worldview.
28:44
Or anything like that. Language has to develop. Because. Languages interact with one another.
28:51
Because there are new developments. In history. Technology. Inventions. I was.
29:01
What? In high school. Yeah. Maybe even college. Before.
29:07
There was such a thing as a floppy drive. And when you think about floppy drive.
29:14
Would have. Had no meaning. To anyone. In the decades or the centuries.
29:21
Before that. I mean it. It really would not have had any. Floppy and drive.
29:29
But most of us. I guess some young people. May not know what a floppy drive is. But. That is a natural.
29:39
Appropriate. Development in language. Technology. Languages interacting with each other.
29:48
That is perfectly normal. What we are experiencing is not that. What we are experiencing.
29:54
Is a recognition. That when you honor language. You are honoring the presence.
30:01
Connection to the past. In the sense of. Wanting to be able to understand.
30:08
What the past said. And to. Place them in their proper context. With honesty.
30:14
So as to live in light of. Both the good and the bad. Of the past.
30:21
To honor the good. And to learn from the bad. And then. To be connected to the future.
30:28
So that there is an accurate. Understanding of what we believe. And where we were coming from.
30:35
In the future context. The. Secular left.
30:45
Obviously wants to completely. Destroy our connection. And our connectivity. To the past.
30:54
Tear down the statues. Change the. History books. That is their thing.
31:02
That is. That is what they want to do. And that way.
31:09
You stop being concerned. About the future. It is so sad for me to see.
31:16
So many people. Young people today. When I was.
31:23
A teenager. I felt that I had a. Responsibility. To. Grow and to mature.
31:34
And to marry and have a family. And to. Look toward the future.
31:43
And I didn't have as much. Emphasis upon that as I wish I had. But it was still a part of the general.
31:51
Concept the general thinking of. My era. And that.
31:57
Eventually well yeah. Even in my youth. That that gave me an interest.
32:03
In the people would come before me. Maybe not as far back as now. Certainly. But it gave cohesion.
32:10
It unified. Critical theory. Secular leftism.
32:18
Does not want any unification. In the sense of.
32:23
Right now. It's construct. Obliterate. Destroy.
32:31
Then build a unified. Totalitarianism. Based upon.
32:37
A narrow secular range of thought. That destroys all liberty. That's what you gotta do then.
32:44
And. That's what they're actively. Pursuing now and as Christians we cannot go there. It should be.
32:52
A Christian. Who reads scripture. And ponders it. Why did.
33:00
Why did. The various of the. Patriarchs put up these stone.
33:07
This. Stone pillar. A stone of help.
33:19
Because they were commemorating. When God had. Acted in deliverance. For them and so they put something up.
33:25
Because they want to remember. And they want others to remember. Here is physical. You look upon this and you remember.
33:32
What God did here. That's a part of our worldview. And hence we should be looking forward.
33:40
To the next generations in the same way. That. I'll be honest with you. Has been short served.
33:48
Eschatologically. In many situations today. But it's an attack upon language.
33:55
It is an attack upon language. Just a couple other things here.
34:02
May not even go the full. We'll see just that way. Rich stays awake. Because I've got to.
34:09
I've got to. Get ready for this evening. Like I said a text came in.
34:15
Literally as Rich said go. Requesting information about. Another important trip.
34:21
I need to get to things like that too. I haven't commented. On. The.
34:30
Pennsylvania. Quote unquote. Transgender swimmer. This is a guy.
34:39
Who. Actually competed. In. On the university level.
34:46
As a male. Evidently has. Is only doing.
34:53
The chemical stuff. He has not done the physical. Stuff. Because there is a.
35:00
Story out. I think yesterday. Late yesterday early today. From other swimmers.
35:08
Other actual real women's swimmers. On the team. That are extremely uncomfortable.
35:13
With the fact that he is. Running around the locker room. And but here's where was it.
35:24
Where did that go. Yeah. The Daily Mail. Have you noticed how.
35:33
All media. Even Fox News. Has. Collapsed.
35:40
Into the utilization. Of whatever pronouns. A person demands. Everybody everybody in the media.
35:48
Just doesn't. Here's the Daily Mail. Headline exclusive.
35:55
We're uncomfortable in our own locker room. Leah Thomas's UPenn teammate. Tells how the.
36:02
Swimmer doesn't always cover up. Ready. Her male genitals. When changing.
36:10
And their concerns go ignored. By their coach. I honestly think.
36:28
My my grandparents. Would have. Looked at me.
36:37
With utter. Non -comprehension. If I ever.
36:43
Tried to explain to them. What's going on in our day. It is.
36:52
Another attack. Upon language obviously. It's an attack upon biology. Back upon the created reality.
37:00
Of. Who we are. It's not
37:05
Leah Thomas. I've forgotten what the guy's name actual name was. I looked it up once. What his real name is.
37:14
And. So he. Runs around the women's locker room.
37:20
Naked. Because he claimed.
37:25
And yet the Daily Mail. Talks about her male genitals. Her square circle.
37:32
What. It's insanity.
37:38
It's absurd. It. Don't sit there.
37:43
And talk to me. About following the science. There is no science here. You do not put.
37:50
A female pronoun. With male genitals. That is.
37:55
That is an absurdity. And any culture. That's that goes. Well you know.
38:02
If it makes someone feel better. That culture is doomed. And it's doomed by its own stupidity.
38:11
And if you don't think. Vladimir Putin. And Xi Jinping. Don't. Rest so easy at night.
38:21
Realizing this stuff. Is happening in the West. They are so thankful for it. They've helped to.
38:29
To produce it. Especially China. They've contributed to this.
38:34
Because they know. It will utterly decimate. Any society.
38:41
And it is. And it is. Ours. This is a man.
38:50
Every single quote unquote record. That he swims. Should have an asterisk next to it.
38:56
And be ignored. I think. People. Should get together.
39:04
And start. Providing. Awards. Medals.
39:12
Start keeping track. All the competitions. And simply. Take these people out.
39:18
And when this guy. Goes. As he does leisurely by.
39:24
The best female swimmer. Because. He went through puberty. As a male.
39:30
He's got big broad shoulders. And long arms. And he's a guy. And guys swim faster than girls.
39:38
By a long shot. Even. Ledecky.
39:45
Who's the greatest woman swimmer. Of. The past 50 years.
39:51
Well ever probably. Could not compete. In the
39:57
Olympics. Against the men. She couldn't. She would be last every single time.
40:05
But. He's a guy. And so he goes zoom and pass.
40:11
The gals. And he's I think he started to realize. Is that if you know when he won.
40:16
By what was it 27 seconds. In the one thing. That didn't look good.
40:21
And so what he does now. Is he just sort of paces along. Until the last lap. And pulls ahead.
40:28
And wins by one body length. And ta -da. And that's how you do it. The second place.
40:38
Finisher. Is the winner. That's all there is to it. And anyone with common sense.
40:44
Knows that. And the amount of money being spent. And remember. We have spent.
40:52
Trillions of dollars. Over the past couple of years. We don't we don't have it.
40:58
It's funny money. That's why you're. That's why everything's become more and more expensive.
41:04
Because we're just printing money. It's funny money. But. We have spent trillions of dollars.
41:10
And the vast majority of it has ended up. In the pockets of the people. Who are promoting this. Your tax money.
41:17
Your grandchildren's inheritance. Has been stolen. By these evil people.
41:22
To promote evil. That's what has happened in our society. That's what's going on in our society.
41:31
And it takes that kind of money. To. Push this kind of insanity.
41:38
Because. Our kids know it's not true. And so you. It takes 12 years.
41:44
Of indoctrination. To get them to believe. This foolishness.
41:51
There it is. Yeah. So Neil Young. Canceled himself.
41:58
That's great. I've loved all the memes. I'll be honest with you. The young people.
42:06
Who's Neil Young? And then the older people. What's Spotify? I think that's a good observation.
42:16
I think that works. But just a couple of things. There was a.
42:24
Statement. I think from Trevin Wax. At TGC. Sort of taking a shot. At bad preacher clips.
42:31
And woke preacher clips. And stuff like that. I'm very thankful for both.
42:37
Of whoever that is. They provide. A really valuable service.
42:43
I read what Trevin Wax's article said. And it was like. How would you like to have people. Looking so carefully at what you were saying.
42:49
As a young preacher. That's not what they're doing. They're demonstrating.
42:57
Like when they. If they do the IFB stuff. Just the abuses of the
43:02
IFB pulpit. How abusive these churches are. With the woke preacher clips. I've benefited greatly.
43:08
I actually downloaded. It wasn't very easy to do. But an entire presentation today. From the woke preacher clips sources.
43:16
So that I could possibly review it. In the future. I just wanted to publicly say.
43:21
I really appreciate the huge amount of time. That goes into that. I don't want to be listening to all that stuff.
43:27
I really, really don't. And so I appreciate. That. That they're doing.
43:37
The censorship move. However continues on. Without. Any slowing down.
43:46
I guess. A bunch of. Has been musicians. Including Barry Manilow.
43:53
Have. Likewise joined Neil Young. In demanding that their music be taken off Spotify.
43:59
As long as Joe Rogan's on there. Realize what this is. These are leftist. Weak minded people.
44:07
That's what they are. And. They are virtue signaling.
44:14
They can't. Refute. What Joe Rogan's guess.
44:20
And it's not just. Joe Rogan's just simply saying. Hey. Let them say what they say.
44:26
They're wrong. Refute them. No, no, no, no, no. Refutation takes too much thought.
44:32
Takes too much work. Takes too much effort. We want totalitarianism. We want absolute unanimity of thought.
44:40
We cannot stand challenge. And so they're saying.
44:45
Take their music off. And I really think Spotify is looking at these people. Okay. I would imagine.
44:53
If you put all these musicians together. They would not get enough streams.
44:59
In a year. To equal a single episode. Of Rogan's program.
45:05
So. Self cancellation. Okay. You don't want.
45:12
If you don't want the royalties off of that. I guess. We won't be able to listen to Copacabana.
45:18
On Spotify. Oh well. But. There's something more sinister.
45:26
Behind all of that. There's a guy named Alex Berenson. Who wrote.
45:34
Has been writing. For quite some time. On the. Pandemic.
45:41
And the government response. And all sorts of things like that. He of course.
45:47
Was banned from Twitter. I had followed him on Twitter. And the only reason. I even found out what
45:52
Substack was. Was so that I could continue getting his material. Well now. We got him kicked off Substack too.
46:01
And. He posted today. An email sent to him. By I think it was the
46:06
New York Post. At like 943 last night. I mean. The hit piece had already been written.
46:12
But they did. And you read it. And I go man. I've seen this so many times before. This is
46:18
Pravda. This is yellow journalism. This is the worst of the worst of this stuff.
46:28
And. They're just doing everything they can. To put pressure on Substack. To get him. And that means.
46:35
They will eventually. Work their way around. Everybody. Once. We have been convinced that.
46:46
Thinking wrongly. Is bad. Listen to Trudeau.
46:52
In his description of the truckers up in Canada. That's it's wrong. It's wrong think.
46:59
Right. Wrong thing. It's hard for us to realize this is happening.
47:05
Because. Those of us that were in high school in the 70s and 80s. We had to read these books. 70s.
47:13
Graduated in 81. We had to read these books. Wow well. We'll never let that happen.
47:21
Right in front of us. Astonishing.
47:27
Two other things real quick. Biden in the Supreme Court. This is so sad. The retirement. Is purely political.
47:40
The retirement. Has been rushed. Because this is the last way of saying.
47:45
We know you're going to get absolutely. And on a level that we can't fix.
47:51
With our election rigging. And. Because I don't think that.
47:58
Extremely targeted right now. Maybe that'll change in the future. It's really targeted in 2020.
48:04
Those key. Key pieces. To determine the outcome. And.
48:11
To be too wide too. Easily detected. I think they're going to get creamed.
48:17
And for many good reasons. I mean Biden is. Utterly incompetent. But. He had.
48:26
You know done this virtue signaling. In the election. During the election. During the campaign.
48:32
That he would nominate. A black woman. And. While I'm sure there are black women.
48:42
Who. Could serve on the Supreme Court. It's the very idea.
48:47
Of this type of. Racism. This kind of intersectional.
48:57
Bigotry of. Lowered expectations. Basically. I mean Sotomayor. Wow.
49:03
Talk about someone who should not be on the Supreme Court. Just does not have the. Acumen.
49:10
The ability to know what's going on in the world. To be there. And so now.
49:16
Biden who of course. Orchestrated the attack. On Clarence Thomas.
49:22
The first black Supreme Court justice. Whom he voted against. I mean the hypocrisy.
49:28
Should cause Biden to simply. Explode. But. I'm not sure he remembers that.
49:35
He may not remember having done that. And so.
49:42
Here's Biden. Being told. These are you know. This is what I'm going to do. This is the person
49:48
I'm going to put forward. This will not be a liberal. This will be a radical leftist. This will be a communist.
49:54
A communist totalitarian. Is what. Is coming our direction. And. They know they've got to get this done.
50:04
Before the election. And before they. Lose both the House and the Senate.
50:10
Which they will. And then we'll have a real mess. On our hands at that point.
50:16
Last thing you're never going to expect. But I want to. Out there. Michael Fallon sent me something.
50:23
And I've been thinking about this. Remember. June July 2020.
50:34
Where a lot of us were seriously. Well really actually. April May 2020.
50:41
We are seriously. Making plans as to how. We might have to.
50:51
Meet in houses. Do it on days other than Sundays.
50:59
You know we're running through in our minds. Through all of the scenarios. Because the government. Wants everything shut down.
51:07
And I thought at the time. There's a.
51:13
If you go out to a certain area. In the East Valley in Phoenix. There are all sorts of automatic cars out there.
51:19
I don't know if it's a testing facility. Or what it is. But you drive on Ray Road. In Mesa.
51:26
And Gilbert. And you will always see. Waymo.
51:33
Automatic cars running around. And. This is what's coming.
51:40
It's already in news articles. Okay. We have demonstrated.
51:47
In our society. That we are cowards. We are childish cowards.
51:53
We are cowards who are afraid. Of our own shadows. And the safism.
51:59
The religion of safism. Has become the religion. Of the society. And so as long as you can.
52:06
Put it in the context of. This will keep people safe. We'll go. Okay I'll give you.
52:13
My children for that. I will give up my freedoms. And my liberties. And my independence.
52:19
And I will just do whatever you tell me to do. Just keep me safe. Because I'm just scared of everything. This is the emasculated.
52:27
Society we've produced. And. The argument is going to be.
52:34
Automatic cars. Are safer than allowing people to drive. Because look. 38 ,000 people die.
52:41
Every year. On the nation's roadways. In the United States. And so.
52:49
If we have automatic cars. That's not going to happen. They're not going to run into each other. And so that will stop.
52:57
And so we need to have automatic cars. And won't it be great. You just use your phone.
53:03
And here comes an automatic car. And you get in. And it takes you where you want to go. And who knows maybe the government will pay for it.
53:10
As if the government actually has money. Who knows. Maybe even the government will pay for it. And I was thinking at that time.
53:19
I was going oh man this is bad. Because. We could do.
53:26
The thing where we meet at different places. As long as we have transportation. Your freedom.
53:35
Is so intimately connected. To your ability. To travel and to move.
53:44
And once. You hand that off. To the government.
53:50
Because that's what you're doing. Oh maybe at first it might be this competing company. And that competing company.
53:56
But we all know where that ends up. Right. And do you think on a
54:02
Sunday. Your automatic car. Is going to take you to a church.
54:08
That has been determined to be. A promoter of hate. No. Of course not.
54:18
You're not going to be able to get there. I mean. Let alone. I don't know what we're going to do with all these
54:23
RVs. They're going to be parked in everybody's backyards. I guess. Because there's not going to be any more of them.
54:31
But. Once you've got the automatic car thing going. You only go where the government lets you go.
54:39
When the government lets you go. What's that called? That's called being a slave. You're being enslaved.
54:47
You. You. Eat what the government tells you to eat. The new bug diet they're working on.
54:53
Oh man. The World Economic Forum is always talking about the bug diet. You eat what they want you to eat.
54:59
You wear what they want you to wear. You think what they want you to think. You say what they want you to say. You go only where they allow you to go.
55:06
When they allow you to go. Because they are all wise. And you aren't smart enough.
55:14
You can't bear the responsibility. Automatic car is part of it.
55:20
Don't buy into it. Fight it. Vote against it. Make it clear to everybody. Nope.
55:25
Not going there. Not giving up my freedom. Because that's the only way we can gather.
55:33
If you live in a big city. Where you can all get together.
55:38
And walk someplace. Most of us aren't in that situation. Most churches
55:45
I know of. Would pretty much cease to exist. If. Your people could not travel.
55:53
I mean. Apologia couldn't survive that. We come from all over the place.
55:59
I travel 35 -40 minutes. One way. So. Keep that in mind.
56:07
It's coming. It's going to be a part of the pivot. There's going to be a pivoting from COVID.
56:15
To climate change. And now. With safism. And this entire next generation.
56:25
Looking. To big brother. To save me. And to keep me safe.
56:33
Makes sense. Oh yes. It's too much for me.
56:39
To be a responsible person. And drive a car. Something bad may happen.
56:45
Therefore yes. Please. Mr. Government. Please sir. Take me where you want me to go.
56:52
Tell me where you would like me to go. How can I improve my social credit score.
56:57
What places should I go. That would improve. My social credit score.
57:03
And where should I not be going. Oh I will not go to a church. No. I will only go to the approved church.
57:09
From the state. And that will help my credit score. If I had said that in 2019.
57:18
Most of you would have been. But if you can't look around now.
57:24
And see. That that's exactly what's going on. You're going to be way behind the eight ball.
57:31
When it comes sliding your direction. That's why. So there you go. Stuff to talk about.
57:38
Stuff to think about. Coming to you. So right there at the end. There was a big. We had a big gust of.
57:46
Oh yeah. It's back down to freezing. And at 25 miles an hour. I would imagine. It probably feels like it's in the teens.
57:53
Or something like that. I do need to throw my jacket on. And go out. And at least get right up next to the ice.
57:58
I do need to at least do that once. No I'm not going to be stupid enough to stand on it. That would be really dumb. But I need to go out there.
58:05
I need to do that. And then I'll have to come in and shiver for a while to recover. So there you go.
58:11
All right. Pray for the events this weekend. And next weekend. The teaching of the class. I'm going to be speaking Monday night in Shreveport.
58:18
We've got that on the calendar. And the debate.
58:24
Next week in Houston. And of course. Traveling mercies. And all the things that go along with that. And that our unit here.
58:32
With it's extra insulation. Will survive single digits. On Thursday evening.
58:38
And who knows what else may come our direction. Thank you for making it possible for us to be doing this. Thank you for watching the program.
