I want to thank you so much for joining me for this podcast. Well, this is an update on Benny Hinn's repentance.

Remember a few years ago Benny Hinn made big news in the evangelical world when he said that he needed to re -examine his own theology on prosperity.

He went on an interview on Charisma radio, Charisma magazine radio, with Stephen Strang and he said

I do not want to be known for prosperity theology, prosperity gospel. I want to be known for preaching the cross and all of that good stuff and he said if I ever hear another preacher say give me a thousand dollars, sow a thousand dollar seed so you can reap a harvest.

He said if I ever hear that again I think I'm going to throw up his own words. I did a video on this several years ago when it first when he first made a public proclamation of his repentance.

Benny Hinn's repentance and I thought I would do another one. So an update to the update of Benny Hinn's repentance.

Has Benny Hinn truly repented of his prosperity gospel theology?

He's also made some news recently when he did an interview with Greg Locke and I'm working on something for that that will be coming up, but yeah for those who say

Greg Locke is not prosperity gospel, he's not word of faith, well he heartily endorses Benny Hinn.

So at any rate I digress. Back to Benny Hinn. So I want to show you this is a video clip from a podcast that he did.

He likes to do these in his car. He does a lot of these in his car. So he's riding along and he's got a young man,

I believe it is I believe it is his son who is driving the car.

And notice that his son is driving from the right -hand side of the car. Benny Hinn is a passenger on the left -hand side of the car.

So I don't know what kind of car he's in. My guess is probably some European luxury car.

Maybe some of you are car gurus out there can tell me what it is. But at any rate watch this as he wraps up this particular podcast from just a few days ago.

And I'll break in with a little bit of commentary as we watch this clip. All right thank you for being with me today but now it's time to give to the

Lord's work. And by give to the Lord's work he means give to his work.

Will man give? But then he said with the same measure you give it shall be given.

The same way we give. God if we if we give little

God gives us little. If we give much God gives us much. If we give reluctantly we receive reluctantly.

Okay? God literally responds to the way we give. With the same measure it says you give you'll receive.

So do it today. Give with joy. God loves a cheerful giver.

And so does Benny as long as it is you giving to him. So are you facing a financial difficulty right now?

There's only one way out of it. It's not by complaining or borrowing money.

Give to the Lord. Even that little you have left give it to God.

Not only has Benny Hinn not repented the only thing he's changed is that he's no longer giving a specific dollar amount.

He used to say so a thousand dollar seed so God will give you a harvest.

So he's no longer putting a dollar amount on it. But dear friends make no mistake about it he is still teaching the same thing he has always taught for decades for almost half a century.

So a seed to me and God will give you a harvest. Give me money God will bless you.

Even the little bit you have left. So if you are poor it doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter if you've only got five dollars left in your bank account. It doesn't matter.

Give it to Benny. Give to the Lord. Even that little you have left give it to God.

Give it to Benny. Unbelievable. And this is not an isolated thing.

I don't watch all of Benny Hinn's programs but I watch some at least probably one a week. One or two a week.

You know when I'm doing something else mindless or whatever. I have yet I can say with a crystal -clear conscience

I have yet to watch a single podcast he's done. A single recording he's done.

A single TV show. Nothing where he hasn't told people give me money.

Sow a seed reap a harvest. He hasn't repented of anything. And of course the bigger miracle you need the bigger monetary seed you better sow.

And you need to sow until it hurts. I've heard him say that literally in his own words.

You sow even if it hurts you. So if financial troubles are plaguing you now it's time to examine the seed you've been sowing.

A few dollars will never get you out of financial troubles. If we sow sparingly we reap sparingly.

We stay right where we are. If we sow bountifully that's when the miracles begin.

Because giving little will not work in times of trouble. Giving sparingly will not work in times of trouble.

As you give him sacrificially what is worth much to you he will bless you today and tomorrow.

Give him your money. If you're down to your last five bucks give it to Benny.

He's a charlatan. If Benny Hinn is not a false teacher the term has no meaning.

And there are untold millions of people, millions, it's not hyperbole, millions of people this man has exploited over the almost half a century that he's been doing quote -unquote ministry.

Millions. Millions of poor people have given everything they've got to him. Millions of sick people have given their money to him and believing that if they'll just if they just sow a seed and boy if you've got cancer you better sow a big seed.

You better sow till it hurts because cancer is pretty serious you know. If you've got a sick child you better dig deeply and don't even think about accusing me of being hyperbole because I've been to these things.

I've been to the Benny Hinn crusades. I've been to 18 of them. I know what

I'm talking about. I've seen this done over and over and over. I have talked to I don't know how many people many of them in tears, sick people, poor people at his meetings.

I've been in the trenches. It is absolutely unbelievable.

If Benny Hinn had an ounce of repentance in him it would bear some real fruit.

If Benny Hinn was truly repentant he would come out. This is what repentance would look like Benny Hinn.

He would come out and he would say I have been lying to you for half a century.

All the prophecies I've given are false prophecies. I've put untold numbers of words in God's mouth that he never said.

I have claimed dreams and visions from God that were never from him. I've made these things up.

I've lied about major events in my own life and ministry. The people that I claim were healed on my program they weren't healed and I know they weren't healed.

I've been lying to you and I have brung untold reproach upon the name of Christ and I realize that I am not qualified to be in ministry.

I shouldn't be anywhere near a pulpit so I'm shutting it down. Everything. Everything.

I'm gonna give every dime. I'm gonna sell it all. Every television camera, every chair, every seat cushion, every light bulb.

I'm selling it all and I'm giving it to doctrinally sound churches, doctrinally sound ministries.

I'm gonna work at Walmart. Not that there's anything wrong with working at Walmart. Don't hear me wrong. I'm not gonna be working in the ministry.

I'm gonna be doing a secular job somewhere. Some honest work for a change. I'm gonna find a doctrinally sound church led by biblically qualified men and I'm not gonna be behind the pulpit.

I'm gonna be in the front of the pulpit sitting in a pew in learning, submitting myself to sound biblical teaching and I'll never step behind the pulpit again.

That would be repentance and anything less than that makes a mockery of repentance.

Benny Hinn is a born -again man of God. Does he have a faulty theology and sometimes a manipulative ministry style?

Yes, but the man loves Jesus. I'm convinced of that. Shameful.

Shameful. Benny, if you by chance see this, I don't hate you.

I hate what you've done for the last half century. I hate it, loathe it, because of the poor and the sick and the elderly that you have exploited to enrich yourself, to fly in your private jets and stay in $10 ,000 a night hotel rooms and all of the opulence that you've lived in.

I hate that, but what I hate even more is the reproach that you have brought upon Christ, but I don't hate you.

I don't want you to go to hell and that's where you're headed right now. I don't want that for you.

I want you to be truly broken over your sin, truly broken.

I want you to cast yourself at the mercies of Christ. Come to Him in a godly sorrow over your sin, where you grieve over your sin.

You grieve over what you have done for the last half century and truly repent and place your trust in Christ, the true

Christ, and if you will do that in true godly sorrow, contrition over your sin, and you come out and you admit to the whole world that you've been a wolf, a liar, a false prophet, and an exploiter of the poor and the sick and the desperate, if you will come to Christ in true brokenness, and public sin requires public repentance, but if you will do that,

Christ will save you, and I know from talking to people who know you that you have a fear of death.

You should. You should. I would love to be able to call you my brother in Christ.

I can't do that now, but I would love to be able to. And Benny, let me say this.

The only person in your family that has shown you true love is your nephew.

I know him. He's a friend of mine. I know that he loves you. I know that he's pleaded with you.
