Indiana Jones as a broken, helpless old man who cowers in the corner while his patronising goddaughter takes the lead, but that's what we're given and it's as bleak as it sounds.

Now you say, yeah, those male chauvinists, they hate women. No, women hate women.

It's also nice to know that the film carefully obeys the golden rule of modern writing that no woman can ever possibly get rescued by a man.

Like, remember in the finale of the 89 movie how Prince Eric bravely took control of the damaged ship and steered the prow right into Ursula's chest, just as she was about to kill

Ariel, saving her life just like she saved his earlier? Well, those outdated ideas of heroic self -sacrifice have got no place in modern

Disney movies where women are all portrayed as unstoppable, all -conquering and men just need to step aside and make way for them.

So naturally, Ariel takes control of the ship and saves the day instead, despite having absolutely no experience or understanding of sailing ships or how they function.

The Little Mermaid origin story lacks room for this more feminist take, it's simply not deep enough.

The people who hate women more than anybody else on this planet are feminists. The first sign of trouble was casting

Phoebe Waller -Bridge, famous Hollywood feminist and Hollywood darling who most people seem to loathe.

She's also been hired to ruin Tomb Raider, but not before she ruins Indiana Jones first, serving up the story trope of the once -beloved hero turned into a broken old man who's gonna pass the mantle to the far more capable girl who is the key to everything because we haven't seen that a thousand times before.

Okay. A few moments later.

And any woman who says,

I believe that it is my desire to be in my home, to raise godly children, to support my husband and the endeavors that he has to go through in order to provide for our family.

Alrighty, folks. So I've been made aware of a trend called the trad wife social media trend. We're going to talk about it.

So what exactly is a trad wife? You might ask. Become a traditional wife. Number one, embracing ultra traditional gender roles into your marriage.

The man, he is the provider, the main breadwinner. He goes out of the house and works. The woman, the wife, she is the homemaker.

She takes care of the home. She takes care of herself and she does the cooking and the cleaning.

If you marry a guy who in your dating life, he showed abusive and control tendencies.

This is a disaster waiting to happen because when you become financially dependent on this man, he will abuse all of that.

So make sure that you take your dating life very seriously. If you are not dating to eventually marry that person, you're wasting your time.

So this has driven people absolutely mad. Apparently. Well, I want to look at some of the reactions. We can see why it's driving people quite so insane.

We have lots of primary sources about what life was like for women in the 1950s. I don't think it's possible for women who grew up in the 21st century to really understand what it's like to be trapped inside the home.

Any woman who does that is considered a failure. Some very disturbing things are happening within the entertainment industry.

Let's take a look at four recent movies and why they are so controversial. The last one is absolutely shocking.

First, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. We already saw from the video clips and the introduction that this new

Indiana Jones movie once again destroys a beloved character by presenting him as being old and fragile, as well as being overshadowed by a strong female character.

Modern movies have a tendency to not just present strong female characters, but also to emasculate and diminish the male characters.

This is exactly what we're seeing with the new Star Wars movies and shows. Well, one of the worst offences that pissed off so many fans was how

Luke said he considered murdering Kylo in cold blood in his sleep. It's so completely out of line with the optimistic

Luke we knew in the originals, who always chose to see the good in people, not the bad.

And it's gonna feature Rey as a Jedi master this time, because I guess when there's nobody around to tell you otherwise, you can basically promote yourself to whatever position you feel like.

Now I don't know about you, but I personally welcome this move, because I can't wait to see Rey as a cowardly, embittered old hobo living alone on a windswept island, drinking green alien city milk and getting totally owned by a strong, empowered young man who teaches her to be a hero again.

You're not looking so disgusted now, are you love? Oh wait, sorry, I forgot that door can only ever swing one way in modern movies.

Of course Rey will be the greatest Jedi master in all of Star Wars history, and everyone who meets her will bow down before her magnificence.

And of course there won't even be an antagonist in this film, because nobody in their right mind could ever possibly challenge someone as perfect as Rey.

Things only got worse with Obi -Wan Kenobi, which managed to tarnish the legacy of not one but two of the most popular characters in the

Star Wars franchise, retcon events that absolutely never happened, and act as another bait -and -switch, this time to launch another tedious, strong, empowered female character.

Because clearly the movies didn't give us enough of those. I wonder who mandated that particular plot point.

Likewise, this is precisely what we saw happen with the Hulk in the new She -Hulk series.

Which is why we have to make sure of your ability to tolerate distress and regulate your emotions, especially your anger.

Well here's the thing Bruce, I'm great at controlling my anger. I do it all the time. When I'm catcalled in the street, when incompetent men explain my own area of expertise to me,

I do it pretty much every day, because if I don't I will get called emotional, or difficult, or I might just literally get murdered.

So I'm an expert at controlling my anger because I do it infinitely more than you.

So all of this just feels like projecting a lot of s*** onto me. See? No, I'm doing this.

Okay, this is completely new territory. You guys have outgrown your binder cuz.

Love you Bruce, but I'm going home. The issue isn't so much that modern movies are introducing strong female characters, as it is that they are usually doing this at the expense of the male characters, and they are presenting men and women as being the exact same.

This is a big problem, because it obscures the fact that God created men and women to be different.

God has designed men and women differently, and of course this culture wants to overthrow all of that with a level of insanity that shocks us all.

But the headship of the man is built around this notion, and this is how you have to look at it.

Not smarter, not wiser, not more experienced, not more insightful, not more spiritual, not more valuable.

It is simply that God designed men to be physically stronger, constitutionally designed by God to work, to protect, to provide for, to secure the wife whom the

Holy Spirit calls in 1 Peter 3, 7, the weaker vessel. Not weaker intellectually, not weaker mentally, not weaker in wisdom or any virtue at all, but merely by God's design.

We get that. That's why there's such a furor when men want to participate in women's sports.

Anybody gets that. It's obviously not a possible compatibility, because men have a completely different system that makes them stronger than women.

It's really nothing more than that. Let's move on to the second movie, the

Little Mermaid live -action remake. Just like with the new Indiana Jones movie, the new

Little Mermaid live -action remake makes changes to the original characters and story because of feminist values.

This has been funny. The people attached to this have been going around saying that this movie's better than the original animated one, strictly because of the fact that it takes modern things and inserts it like consent, which is dumb, because as brought up here by My Nerdy Home, she points out this from the article, there are some lyric changes in Kiss the

Girl because people have gotten very sensitive about the idea that Prince Eric would in any way force himself on Ariel.

She points out here, with good reason, that the whole point of the song was to convince

Eric to kiss her. It wasn't, it was her friend's idea, and Ariel needed to kiss him so that she could remain human permanently.

Ursula tells her, you've got to get dear old Princey to fall in love with you.

That is, he's got to kiss you. How is this plot point Eric forcing himself on Ariel?

And we saw from the other clip in the introduction of the actress who plays Ariel, Halle Bailey, who unreasonably interprets a comment as being racially offensive.

Something else we have seen regarding many modern movies is the accusation that everyone who has criticisms about the movie is a racist.

Disney has done what we knew they do all along. If you don't like it, you must be racist.

Halle Bailey addresses racist trolls criticizing her role as Ariel in The Little Mermaid.

Quote, as a black person, you just expect it and it's not really a shock anymore. Bailey told the face in a new cover story interview.

Ironically, in this same interview, she admits that she hasn't seen any of the backlash and she's more than willing to call it racist.

Isn't that interesting? Let's continue to the third movie, the Queen Cleopatra documentary.

The problem with this new quote unquote documentary is that it prioritizes making a political statement over presenting a story that is historically accurate.

And if you can somehow convince enough people that she was actually black all along, then you'll earn yourself a lot of praise from your big friends in Hollywoods.

Because after all, how do we really know what Cleopatra looked like? It's not like her Macedonian Greek heritage was a well -documented matter of verified historical record, or that we have countless portraits, statues, busts, freezies and even coins with her face on them, all depicting her with classical

Greek facial features. Oh wait. Again, like with Indiana Jones and the

Little Mermaid, this Cleopatra show prioritizes an agenda, rather than being faithful to the original source material, and this is one reason why these shows have done poorly with reviews.

But sometimes, just sometimes, a project comes along that's so monumentally, epically and comprehensively terrible that it manages to unite the entire world in absolute contempt.

And it seems to be happening again with the release of Queen Cleopatra, a Netflix documentary series produced by one of the least popular actresses in Hollywood, and that's saying something, believe me.

I don't know what the movie critics watched, but it certainly wasn't this film. It had like a 46 % on Rotten Tomatoes yesterday, and I don't know what happened there.

They must have been boofing crazy pills. That is outrageous. This is not by any means a bad movie.

I wouldn't even consider it a mediocre movie. I would say it is good. Above all else, it's very fun and captures the spirit of the games extremely well.

It's pretty clear that the only reason the Super Mario Bros. movie received so many negative reviews is because it did not push an agenda, but was rather designed merely to be entertaining.

But what I found funny in this one was the end of this article. Listen to this.

The Last of Us adaptation soared when it embraced new possibilities, such as its rewriting of the

Bill and Frank's relationship. Okay, so the Last of Us adaptation was better because it included a gay relationship.

My wife and I watched the Super Mario Bros. movie, and it was thoroughly enjoyable, precisely because it did not lecture us about any social agenda, which almost every other movie,

TV show, and commercial is doing today. I mean, you just, you can't turn on the

TV without seeing it. Now you, now there are commercials, and the commercials come out, and when the commercials are about couples, you see gay characters or gay couples in the commercials.

They are everywhere. Not everywhere. Everywhere. It's beyond everywhere, right?
