All right, let's turn to the book of Esther chapter 8 This morning if you would good to see everybody here

We're moving into a new chapter today Esther chapter 8. So let's see what we see there. We saw an awful lot in chapter 7

And that means they are there are types in the Old Testament are symbols that teach us spiritual truths about the

New Testament You're gonna find the detail in the Old Testament stories because they are physical stories that have symbolism in there

They're full of it and it symbolizes all these truths that the Lord has taught us so in chapter 7 we saw that King Ahasuerus the leader of the whole world of that time was sort of a type of the

Lord Jesus being the king an example of Jesus is kingship and Queen Esther is an example of the bride of the

Queen the Bride of Christ and Mordecai is a picture of the Jews the

Jewish nation Israel and Haman was a picture of whom?

Satan Lucifer and That continues on into chapter 8, which is pretty interesting, but we did kind of an in -depth study of Lucifer it's interesting how you can study the names of Satan in the

Bible and each time you study a different name it teaches You something about its characteristics It's good to know your enemy

You don't want to study him a lot But you want to know him enough because you're in a battle with him You want to know your enemy enough to know how to fight would you agree with that?

The Bible never says that you have victory over Satan by running or by doing nothing

It says you have Satan over him by resisting resisting indicates effort a pushing against and That's how you have victory over Satan and most

Christians are just complacent when it comes to that They just do nothing and I think doing nothing will get you by and it won't

Because you're under attack. So that's what we learned there in chapter 7. How did

Esther resisting? She just took her hand and put it in the hand of the king and the king said who is he and where is he?

And she just went like that pointed at Haman. That's all that's all she had to do So that's how we resist

Satan is Hand in hand with our Lord We just pray and tell him what the devil is doing to us and our family and that's all we have to do and he takes

Care of the rest and that is how we resist Satan is hand in hand with Jesus now Let's see how this carries on into chapter 8 look at verse 1 with me in the book of Esther It says on that day.

Did the king Ahasuerus give the house of Haman now remember Haman is a picture of Satan and It says

Ahasuerus gave the house of Haman who was the Jews enemy to Esther so the king gives the house of Haman to the

Queen so This is kind of interestingly because remember Haman was very wealthy had a huge house.

He was number two in the kingdom and Mordecai came before the king for Esther had told what he was to her he finally she finally told her husband the king that Mordecai raised her was like a dad to her and the king took off his ring now that ring is a

Significant because it's a picture of the power of the king It is symbolic of the king's power and of his person in other words his emblem would be on that on that ring and the king took off his ring which he had taken from Haman before he hung him and gave it to Mordecai and Esther set

Mordecai over the house of Haman. So the king Ahasuerus gives Haman's house to Esther his wife his bride and she turns around and hands it over to Mordecai who is a picture of Israel and Mordecai raised

Esther but was not her father because Actually, he was her cousin

But he adopted her because her parents had been killed and so he raised her now

Mordecai is A type or a symbol of the Jewish nation Esther is a type of the

Bride of Christ the church Ahasuerus is a type or a symbol of Jesus Christ the king in his kingship and of the bridegroom and Haman is a symbol of Satan the enemy of the

Jews and of the Christians, of course Haman was at the right hand of the king

Haman was the king's right -hand man Just like Lucifer when he was created was at the right hand of God He was at the right hand of God until he fell

Haman was full of pride and that's what caused his fall.

Who does that seem like? Satan was full of pride Lucifer was full of pride and he fell

Haman was killed by the very instrument that he had prepared for the murder of Mordecai just like Satan was defeated by the very cross that he prepared for Jesus the

Lord gave Dominion of the whole earth to Adam now think about that turn to Genesis chapter 1 with me for a moment

The Lord gave dominion of the whole earth to man represented by Adam for Genesis chapter 1 verse 26 and God said

Let us make man in our image. It's interesting in the Hebrew when you read that because it's

One might call it almost bad grammar, but it's on purpose because it's in the way the

Hebrew language is constructed This is like a plural singular situation, which is odd.

It doesn't match and It's when you look at that when

God talks about himself as us that is not just a grammatical Formal grammar like sometimes

Sometimes if someone you're talking to someone in the formal English, you might say well, we will take care of that for you

You're really talking about yourself But you say we as if there are two of you and it's just a formal way of speaking

That is not what this is in the Hebrew language. It literally means it's a plurality of a singular being

And they call it a singular plurality when you study this in the Hebrew. It's very strange So the one

God calls himself us Let us make man in our image after our likeness and let them have

Dominion over the fish of the sea over the fowl of the air over the cattle over all the earth

And over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth So God created man in his own image in the image of God created

How'd you like to been the one that heard those words? Well, those words are spoken to all of us but Adam was created to be an everlasting creature

And he hears the words you're gonna go back to the dust. How do you make thing? It was that his best day do you think it was not his best day at the office was it?

And you know this passage talk when you talk about the thorns and the thistles and the sweat of the brow. That's why

You cannot create anything in your life whether you're talking about creating wealth for your family through your work or Goodness in your family through teaching in the home and all the different things that each of us do in our families

None of it comes easy because we're living in a cursed world and we lost the dominion of it and It went to Satan Satan now has dominion of it by right of conquest.

It says he's the one who blinds the eyes of humanity on the earth because if he didn't it

Jesus don't you think haven't you ever wondered why once you learned a pretty articulate way to Give the gospel why everyone you give it to doesn't get saved haven't you ever wondered that I mean?

I thought that when I was in my 20 I got saved at the age of 24 so from that point to the age of almost 30

It made sense to me because it's clear. I mean, why would you not choose the good news?

Who is Satan if it weren't for him everyone would because it makes sense So everything that you look at in this world, it makes no sense.

So stuff that doesn't make sense Has the devil in it? How about our government?

How about would you think like if you run your budget like this where you just keep borrowing money so that you're 14 trillion dollars

And then you pass a law here just recently where you're gonna add another trillion dollars before the first quarter of 2012 is over.

So by March we'll be in it will be like up to we're already up to 15 We'll be up to 16 trillion dollars in debt and they're passing those laws at the same time

They're trying to get together and agree on removing 1 trillion dollars per decade. Now, how's that gonna work? How many decades it gonna take to remove 16 trillion dollars of debt if you're gonna do 1 .6

trillion a year? And that's a great big step because we cut spending so much. We're gonna remove a whole trillion dollars every decade

It's going to implode and the economic system that we know is gonna cease to exist and there's gonna be a new one

You know I spent my whole life thinking that Satan when he raised up the Antichrist the Antichrist is gonna take over through Military means and now

I understand clearly it's not it's economic It's economic. I mean it in Europe right now.

They're just teetering over the abyss They're just they're just like teet every day because I look at this all the time because of some of the business that I'm in But every day they are teetering over the complete destruction of the

European Union Financially because every nation they have is socialist and they've been promising stuff to everybody that lives there for free

And it never occurred to them that the only way to get that is to tax the few people that do work and they've got the point where some of them have a 70 % tax rate over there and Then all of a sudden there's fewer and fewer of them because they keep going broke because they can't afford all of that and then

Who's gonna feed all these people? So the government borrows the money from China from United States from everywhere in the world to feed those

You know to give them what they promised them and now guess what? They've gotten so far in debt

There's not enough workers to create production to create enough money to ever pay it off and everybody knows it

So now every day they were increasing the interest rates on The debt when they loan it to them to keep their governments going and now it reaches around 7 % interest

They can't handle it. They can never pay it off And so that's where they are so what's gonna happen is all the banks all over the world including

United States banks have paper on Government bonds on those countries that are about to go broke and when they go broke, they'll never get that money

So the banks are gonna be in trouble Well everything you people don't know this people are always gonna march in Wall Street against the banks.

You wouldn't have a school School where you guys go to school would not be there if someone had borrowed money from a bank to build it the supermarket where you get your food would not be there if someone hadn't borrowed money from a bank to build it all

Of the buildings the hotels you stay in if you go on vacation Everything is built by speculators

Speculators go on a leverage they borrow tons of money and build it thinking they're gonna pay that back quickly and then get rich Everything in your life.

That is a thing is there because of leverage from banks So if you destroy the banking system, you don't have all that you'll be back to the

Stone Ages very quickly So all it takes is one person to rise up and say look Your politicians are sorry now who's not gonna say amen to that.

Okay, so he's gonna raise up He's gonna say you're sorry. You're your politicians are liars They're selfish.

They're deceitful. They're covetous. They're taking your money and I will fix that for you

But the only thing you have to do is you have to agree that nations is what causes it all and nations are evil and We're gonna eliminate them and I'm just gonna run the world if you'll let me do it.

Which means you better have some chickens rabbits and cattle right, so You can see all of this being put together before our very eyes now,

I understand full well We don't know the day or the hour. So what that means is all of this might be corrected just through Some other means this time

But there's gonna be a time when the economies of the world since they're all interconnected through the banking systems now

They're not nations as far as money There's no longer the United States money Europe's money and all that because we all loan to everybody else

All of our banks do so it's all merged together like this And I look at it this way it's like link pins or something and it's like it's just right here turning and it's just any day

Now it's just gonna choke and fit right in place and then you're gonna see that you're in the very end of time it's very fascinating days that we live in and So if it if all of these unnatural things that are happening like People making to say can you even imagine ladies and gentlemen if you were in Congress that you would allow this nation?

To borrow that so much money that it will be destroyed Do you know the first place that they have to cut now to try to get rid of the 15 trillion is the military?

That's the biggest place they cut and fix it quickly. They're gonna cut the military. They're gonna cut education Oh, no, no, no.

No, they've cut it a little bit. There's teachers already losing job, but that's on the state level But on the federal level, they're not gonna cut stuff that'll lose votes.

That's what good leadership can do. So does it make any sense what the people are doing now?

Blinding their eyes just like he blinds the eyes of natural man So that they won't see that the gospel is good news

They do not see it as good news if it weren't for Satan. They would this verse says that very clearly

Ephesians chapter 2 verse 1 speaks of Satan again and this where he

Gained dominion by right of conquest over Adam and Eve took that dominion away Now he has the dominion over the earl the world

Prince of the power of the air the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience you know people it just drives me nuts when people want to debate theology and The big one that really drives me nuts when

I say well, are you telling me we don't have a free will? you know when they say that to me nowadays more than often

I just walk away because I don't even want to go there if They have not thought this through enough to even ask that question.

I don't really want to go there But the true answer is no, you don't have a free will

Because the word free means sovereign So the question is do you have a sovereign will and I'm gonna tell you this from the time that Adam and Eve left that Garden no man woman boy or girl has ever had a sovereign will and I'm not even sure

Adam and Eve did in the garden I know theologians tell us they did but I don't see it in the Bible. I Don't think any man has ever had a sovereign will

I think only God is the only part only person in the universe It has a free will because you and I what we do is yes, we do have the freedom to think

We do have the freedom to make choices and to take actions and we're held responsible for every one of them, aren't we?

But they're not free because they're influenced by something Every thought we have is influenced by either the world the flesh the devil or the

Holy Spirit So it's not sovereign. It's not free. It is an influenced will

I'm telling you The world is moving so rapidly towards the abyss that we shouldn't be as comfortable as we are about it

I know we're protected in our little church here a little Christian school and our not our protected homes, and that's a good thing

But we don't want to get comfortable because the world around you this right outside your door of your house is crashing

It is imploding because of the little g -god of this world And you know what the interesting thing about it is that Satan really has already been removed from his throne

Because when Jesus was on the cross and he was nailed to that cross and he rose from the grave three days later

He defeated Satan and by right of conquest took that Dominion back But Satan is depicted so well by King Saul in the

Old Testament God took away his throne and gave it to David But Saul stayed on that throne for a long season and chased

David trying to kill him And he was not even really the rightful king anymore But he usurped the kingship for a season until God put him down and that's a picture of Satan Satan is usurping now for 2 ,000 years.

He has usurped the Dominion It's not rightfully his and that's why if you're born again today, and you know that information

Positionally, you don't have to allow him to control yourself your life your mind or your family because he has no right to it

He knows it. So all you have to do is say Lord Would you please remind him that you have already removed him from Dominion?

He has no Dominion over me or my family He can have that over the world if he wants to but not over a Christian Please remind him of that rebuke him bind him and send him away and you'll feel peace in an instant

Now that's about as practical of a thing as I could teach you today. It works because it's real so de facto in God's viewpoint

Satan has no Dominion, but in my Satan's mind being the preeminent Arminian Satan believes it's all about him and all about humans and not about God being sovereign

So he like he thinks he can control things. He doesn't even believe what God said in his word. He's read it

He just doesn't believe it. And so therefore he continues to act out as if he has that Dominion He actually thinks he is smiting

God on the cheek and saying I'd say I don't have Dominion watch this and he acts out

But he's usurping. It's not rightfully his he's doing it wickedly and unjustly

So he is the God of this world He is the prince of the power of the air the spirit that now works in the children of disobedience

So let me ask you this children of disobedience. Would you agree me? That's a lost person

And it was you before you got saved too, but you're saved now so that's not you but it's a lost person so would you agree with me that that's the whole world except for the church and So if he says here if God says that Satan is the spirit that works in the children disobedient

That means none of those children have a free will Not one of them has a mind it just thinks freely they're all influenced by this spiritual being

So they think they're doing what they want to do That Sandusky guy, he thought he's doing what he wanted to do

But he's being controlled by Satan to destroy the lives of young people. They'll never get over that by the way They don't ever totally get over that ever their whole life.

I'd like to read the rest but for sake of time let me just say that by right of conquest Jesus Christ took that Dominion back from Satan and Jesus being the second

Adam now has brought the Dominion back to man Now look at this Colossians 2 13

Turn there with me Now what's a fascinating about this as you see the Bible history unfold before our eyes in this little short message

This morning is you see the beginning of time? You see then the creation of may all everything that is and then after that the creation of man and then

God says you are now The little G God of the world you Adam you are the controller of the world

You had dominion over you're the king over the world and Adam gives that away We don't know how many days or weeks or months or years it was

Before Satan came and took it away We don't not given that as far as I know at least

I don't my scholarship Level that has not told me how many days months or years Adam and Eve were in the garden before the fall

I bet dr. Ball could give some information on that. But at a point it was taken away and Satan then had the

Dominion and then Jesus Christ comes and lives his perfect life and dies on the cross and look what happens

Colossians 2 13 and you being dead in your sins and Uncircumcision of your flesh hath he quickened that means made alive together with him

Having forgiven you all trespasses Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against you.

That's the Old Testament law Which was contrary to us and he took it out of the way nailing it to the cross having spoiled

Principalities and powers he made a show of them openly Triumphing over them in it try say that fast ten ten times triumphing over them in it

That's hard to say, but that's what he did on the cross. He spoils Satan he spoiled his principalities and powers in the demonic world and he destroyed them and he beat them and And by right of conquest he took back the dominion of this world this earth in John chapter 12 it talks about it.

It says in verse 31 now is the judgment of this world now Shall the prince of this world be cast out and I if I let be lifted up From the earth talking about on the cross as they lift him up on that cross.

I will draw all Men unto me now that does not mean obviously that does not mean that That all men women boys and girls are gonna be saved.

It doesn't mean that clearly does it? So what does it mean you have to read it in the context in the context of a

Jew talking to other Jews when he says All men any anywhere you see the place where it says all men like that.

He'll draw people from India He'll draw people from Iran from America and from Israel all men all types of men will be drawn to me that's what it means in the context is what it means nearly every time you see this when you see that word all and That confuses a lot of people

But he says he will draw all men and he moves on and he says now it's judgment this world now

Should the prince of this world be cast out? So that Jesus said that before he went to the cross he was talking about when

I go that's when this is gonna happen And he said when I get lifted up on that cross I'm gonna draw men from all types of nationalities to me and I'm also gonna put

Satan down Amen Now turn to Esther chapter 8 verse 1

And let's look at this again Ahasuerus Give the house of Haman the

Jews enemy or gave the house of Haman the Jews enemy unto Esther The Queen did he not this is a type of the

King Jesus Giving the dominion of the earth To the Bride of Christ the church now think about this you have the beginning of time

You have the creation of all things you have the creation of man. You have God giving man dominion over everything

You have Satan taking that away from him some days later You have Satan reigning as the little g -god of this world for thousands of years up until the time of the cross and Then you have

Jesus dying on the cross and taking that dominion away and now what we see as pictured through pictures and Types in the book of Esther is you see

Jesus then handing that dominion back to the church So not just a man this time

But to saved man to whole man a man who has everything in place He's got his body his soul and his spirit in place

Attached to Jesus Christ one with him. The new man is one with Jesus Christ in relationship

He gives it back to that man those men and women boys and girls So this is a type when when

Ahasuerus who pictures Jesus turns around and gives Haman who is Satan he gives

Satan's house To Esther he's that he is giving the dominion over the world

To Esther the bride of Christ So now Jesus has given that dominion.

He took it from Satan He gives it now to the bride the church now verse 2 there and the king took off his ring

Which he had taken from Haman Satan and given it and gave it to Mordecai He is a picture of the

Jews the Jewish nation and Esther set Mordecai over the house of Haman who was

Satan So now we see clearly what is we're seeing here in types is that Jesus took back that dominion from Satan by right of conquest

He destroyed him when he died on that cross and resurrected. He destroyed Satan and his dominions

He took that away and now Jesus is giving this to the bride of Christ Who is the church and now all of a sudden you see gives this ring to Mordecai?

Which pictures the Jew the ring signifying the power of the king and what you're going to find is

Well, I don't want to get ahead of myself. This is too good. And so Now Satan is no longer the god of this world

This is signified by the ruling ring of the king Which was taken away from Haman and given to Mordecai which pictures the

Jews So now you have the church and you have the Jewish nation pictured as having dominion over the world again

It's interesting to me that the bride the king gives the house of Satan to the bride who then turns and gives it to the

Jew and He gives the ring directly to the Jew as pictured by Mordecai.

So the church and the Jewish nation Isn't it interesting that they are cousins?

Don't you think it's interesting that Mordecai was not really her dad not her father. He was Her cousin all of none of that's by accident

It's all a type so it has to be built perfectly by God in time and orchestrated all their lives to picture all this stuff
