Here's Matt Slick. All right, everyone, welcome to the show. It's me, Matt Slick. You're listening to Matt Slick Live.
00:30
Today's date is October 29th, 2024. I'm back on the air live.
00:37
Now, you may be able to tell, my voice is a little shot. On the way back from Istanbul on the plane, I caught something.
00:44
It was just a head cold. You know, one of those things that happens every now and then. Not a big deal. So I'm struggling through that.
00:51
I thought I would do the show today. So please bear with me on that. But hey, look, if you want to give me a call, all you have to do is dial 877 -207 -2276.
01:04
I want to hear from you. Give me a call. You can also, if you're interested, you can email me, info at karm .org.
01:11
Just put the subject line, radio comment or radio question. And we often get to those. Those who may not know,
01:18
I was out for three weeks, went to Europe and just got back on Saturday. And so did a 19 -day tour of Turkey, and then
01:27
Greece, and then Italy. And it was really something. I took 1 ,400 pictures.
01:35
Exactly 1 ,400. I transferred them this morning. And the count was, it was 1 ,400 even.
01:42
That was all on the phone. These phones are incredible. You know, I just didn't even need to take one of those really great cameras.
01:51
I just took my phone camera. And man, I'm telling you, it was great. Did a lot of photography.
01:58
Went and saw the seven churches of Revelation. Went to all the locations. We went to Pamukkule, which is some incredible ponds.
02:07
We went and saw the burial place of Philip. We went and saw the jail cell of Paul the
02:13
Apostle. We went to Pompeii in Italy and saw one of the bodies that was there.
02:22
Pompeii is singularly impressive. We went in Greece. We were at Corinth, and I preached there.
02:28
We were at Thessalonica. I preached there. We went to Delphi, saw the inscription of Galileo out of the book of Acts.
02:39
We went to different museums and just saw some incredible stuff. I mean, incredible stuff.
02:44
We saw so many things. We went and saw a museum dedicated to the father.
02:52
I believe it was the father of Alexander the Great. And some of the stuff that was in there was just amazing.
02:58
Just amazing. But I got to say this, that Italy, wow.
03:05
I had no idea about Italy. Italy was very impressive. We got to Rome, and it's like, hey, you know, let's turn the corner driving.
03:15
Hey, look, another old ruin. Hey, look over there, another one. Old churches, old statues, old carvings.
03:22
And we got to the point where we said, hey, look, more old stuff. It was just everywhere. We went to the
03:29
Sistine Chapel in the Vatican. That was incredible. I got to say this, it was incredible seeing this stuff.
03:38
The Vatican is, wow, the statues, the paintings, the stuff that they have in their museums, it's phenomenal.
03:51
Phenomenal. The tapestries, just you go into one room and you just, wow.
03:58
We started measuring wows per minute. That's what it was like. Went out to the court area where the
04:05
Pope goes out and stands up on the, whatever he stands up there, you know, the big second story, third story up, there's a little deck.
04:13
And we were in the area where you'd look up to see him. We went into the museum there, and just more wows.
04:21
We went to the place where apparently, well, we saw where Peter's buried. We saw where Paul was supposed to be buried.
04:28
We saw where he was killed. Just so many things. And I'm going to,
04:34
I have 1 ,400 pictures to go through. I'm going to try and put some up on a single page, which will take a full minute to load probably, regarding some of the things that we saw.
04:45
And it was just phenomenal. The food was great, especially in Italy. Wow. It was really interesting.
04:52
We flew, we went from, we flew to Istanbul from Dallas, Texas, and then we did the tour there.
05:02
And then we flew to Thessaloniki. And then we toured
05:07
Greece. And then we took a boat, a big ship, over to Italy.
05:13
And then we took the bus and flew from Rome back to Istanbul, back to Dallas, and then back to here.
05:23
And 19 days, and I caught an incredibly bad head cold, which is why I was out yesterday. Otherwise, I would have been on the air.
05:30
And that's what that is. So hey, look, if you want to give me a call, 877 -207 -2276.
05:40
I want to hear from you. Give me a call and we can blab. And if we get to the question, let's get to David from North Carolina.
05:46
David, welcome. You're on the air. Yes. How are you today?
05:53
Well, fighting a head cold, but doing pretty well. Hanging in there. Yeah. Yeah. Well, I hope you get better soon.
06:01
It's been a pretty good couple of years since I called you. But I try to listen to your program every day.
06:06
My wife and I both love to hear the questions and your insight.
06:13
This past weekend, this past Sunday, we had our pastor was preaching in Acts and get on Acts 26, chapter 26, verse 28, when
06:28
Festus said from the, I think it's the New King James Version, that you almost persuaded me to be a
06:36
Christian. Our pastor took that as he was very close to becoming a pastor, a
06:44
Christian. And I had a pastor years ago that made the claim that this was not something that Festus was about to convert to.
07:01
He was mocking Paul by saying he was making fun of it.
07:06
And and then I looked at the different translations, a bunch of them, and some of them actually
07:14
Festus asked a question by saying, do you try to make me a believer or a disciple?
07:22
And other passages, other authors that I read as well said that.
07:32
But but anyway, I am wondering what your take is on it.
07:39
I will say this. I looked at the commentary Gil, and he made an outstanding comment.
07:48
He said, whether Paul could persuade Festus to believe or not, if God didn't persuade
07:57
Festus, it wouldn't be any good. So what I like what
08:02
Gil's saying. So I'd like to hear your comments. Yeah, there's a duality going on here.
08:08
Because in Acts 26, 28, you know, there's the reality of the issue of people dealing with the message of the gospel, dealing with the truth of what is said, what is spoken by the apostles, by Christ, by the prophets, the
08:23
Old Testament. And people react to it in real time. And they have real issues.
08:29
And so we don't know if he was being sarcastic, we don't know if he was being convicted. We don't know.
08:35
But we do know that no one can come to Christ unless it's granted by the Father, John 665.
08:41
God grants that people have faith Philippians 129. So to what extent was a duality and I call it that in the sense that the conviction and the work of the
08:50
Spirit upon an individual with the Word of God being preached and taught that works on a person, but yet at the same time,
08:57
God's drawing John, John 644. Sorry.
09:03
And so how does it all work? We don't know. But you're right. And Gil was right. They can't come to Christ unless it's granted by the
09:10
Father, John 665. And if he had come, then it would have been that it would have been
09:15
God's work upon him. So that's what it is. Okay.
09:21
Yes. Okay. Well, I appreciate that. Our pastor took a different view on it.
09:27
And it just didn't seem right to me. But that's okay.
09:33
That's okay. I wanted to hear what you said. And it makes him, you know, it helps me helps me understand.
09:43
Okay, well, good. Hope I helped there. You know, I've been thinking a lot lately about the issue of the interaction of the preaching the teaching of the
09:51
Word of God, people's responsibility to the truth, and how it works that God opens a heart to mind, as you do with Lydian in Acts 1614.
10:01
It's something I've been thinking about, particularly having been in Europe and seeing the idolatry that's so rampant, all over the place there in the churches, just rampant idolatry.
10:11
And so it really got me thinking a lot. And I'm going to be musing on this for quite a bit, and praying and asking
10:17
God to, you know, open my mind. So I have better understanding of things. But we do know that God, Jesus has no one can come to me, unless it's granted by the
10:27
Father. Okay, that's a fact. So yet God draws John 644. How does it work?
10:33
I don't know. But I'll be working on that as well. Okay. Exactly.
10:39
Yes, I love that. And I appreciate your program. And we hope you get well soon and continue to listen.
10:49
Well, thank you very much. And I'm constantly coughing, but I'm hitting the cough button. Hope you guys don't hear when
10:54
I'm hitting the cough button. But, but appreciate your call. Thanks for listening. All right. All right.
11:00
Thank you. Thank you so much. All right, David, God bless. All right. You want to give me a call?
11:07
The number is 877 -207 -2276. Let's get to Matt from North Carolina.
11:14
Matt, welcome. You are on the air. Hey, Matt. How you doing, man?
11:21
Doing all right. Hanging in there. Hanging in there. More hanging in there right now. So what do you got, buddy?
11:29
I heard you say that there are some people in the
11:35
Catholic faith that are saved. And I heard you say that there are some seven day
11:40
Adventists that are saved. And I want you to try to like expand, like explain that to me.
11:51
Sure. Roman Catholicism teaches a false gospel, and it promotes idolatry.
11:57
It's not a true Christian church. And SDA, seven day Adventism, promotes a false gospel as well, even though they do affirm other issues.
12:10
But there's some erring stuff. But anyway, the official doctrines of both of those churches are not
12:18
Christian. That doesn't mean that there can't be people within those churches who are truly trusting in Christ.
12:24
And they're not aware of the deeper heretical things being taught by those representative groups.
12:31
And it can certainly happen. So I've met Christians in Catholicism. They don't understand what
12:37
Catholicism teaches, and it's blasphemous teachings. And they're not taught some of that stuff.
12:43
So they can be saved. And I've met SDAs who trust in Christ alone, completely and don't affirm the investigative judgment, which is one of the essential doctrines of the
12:52
SDA. So, okay, it can happen. Okay, one more question, and then
13:01
I'll let you go. Sure. I heard,
13:07
I mean, I'm not Catholic or anything. I'm not even seven day Adventist. But did
13:13
Martin Luther affirm the Catholic dogmas?
13:20
I'm just curious. Depends on which dogmas. I went to a Lutheran college, just so you know, and got to study a lot under some good teachers there.
13:29
But they would affirm, the Lutherans, of course, would affirm, and Martin Luther, the doctrine of the Trinity, the hypostatic union that Jesus has with two natures, his physical resurrection.
13:39
But he would differ in satiriology, the doctrine of salvation, and praying to saints and things like that.
13:45
So, how many of those are dogmas, that would be the issue. All right, we've got a break. We've got to go, buddy. All right? God bless, man.
13:51
Bye. Okay. Hey, folks, if you want to give me a call, the number is 877 -207 -2276.
13:59
I'll be right back. Give me a call. It's Matt Slick live, taking your calls at 877 -207 -2276.
14:13
Here's Matt Slick. All right, welcome back to the show. Please excuse my raspy voice.
14:19
I'm getting over a very bad head cold, which I caught on the way back from Istanbul and a 12 hour flight.
14:27
And so I took yesterday off because I could hardly talk and today is much better, believe it or not. If you want to give me a call, the number is 877 -207 -2276.
14:39
You can also give me an email. Send an email to info at CARM .org. C -A -R -M dot
14:46
O -R -G. Info at CARM .org. And I just put in the subject line, radio comment or radio question.
14:53
We get to them. All right. Let's get on the air with the next guest. Longest waiting is
14:59
Jan from North Carolina. Jan, welcome. You're on the air. Hey, how are you today?
15:06
Suffer from a head cold, but getting better. Yeah, I see that. Yeah, that was that was a dumb question. I know you're not feeling well.
15:12
Okay, I have a question for you. Usually when I ask questions of you, it's because I've already asked some of my pastor and did not get a sufficient response.
15:21
And you usually can clear it up. My question today is, if Palestine nor Israel accept
15:27
Jesus Christ as a savior, nor believe in the Trinity, why do we pick a side and put and defend
15:33
Israel? In Genesis 12, three, God says, I will bless those who bless you.
15:39
And the one who curses you, I will curse and you all the families of the earth will be blessed. So this is a prophecy.
15:46
It's called the gospel, actually, in Galatians three, eight, I was quoted Genesis 12, three. So if we bless
15:52
Israel, God will bless us. Now, some people will say that God is done with Israel, that the church replaces
15:58
Israel called replacement theology. And I don't I don't buy that. In Romans 1125 and 26.
16:04
Paul says, I do not want you to brethren to be uninformed of this mystery, that you will not be wise in your own estimation that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the
16:15
Gentiles has come in, and all Israel will be saved. So God's not done with that.
16:21
And that was that. That's very clarifying. That is about that being could be good Israel and you'll be blessed.
16:27
I didn't think about that. But but again, that is the Old Testament. And in the New Testament, Jesus says you can't come to God except for through him.
16:35
That's true. But here's the thing. The covenant that God has made with Abraham is still in effect.
16:42
So I'm going to do is on my computer, you can't see it. Genesis 12, three, and Galatians three, eight.
16:51
This is Genesis 12, three. God says, I will bless those who bless you. And the one who curses you,
16:57
I will curse and in you all the families of the earth be blessed. Now Galatians three, eight. Yes, the
17:03
English three, the scripture for seeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preach the gospel before hands to Abraham saying, all the nations we blessed in you.
17:13
He's quoting from Genesis 12, three, the statement that God made with Abraham and the descendants is still valid because it's included in the
17:23
New Testament. So we should bless Israel. We should support him. Okay. Okay.
17:28
I do. I do. That's saying now that was clarifying the answer I got from my pastor was far more convoluted and did not make sense.
17:35
See, I knew you would answer it. But thank you very much. I have something I can talk about now a little more clearly.
17:41
I guess you didn't make sense. I do understand that that's what I needed was clarification. All right.
17:46
Well, glad to provide a quick and slick answer. Okay. And you did provide a quick and slick answer, which is why
17:51
I always call you for the final answer. Thank you. That's slick. And I appreciate it. You have a good day to stay blessed. You too.
17:57
God bless. All right. We have a caller kind of coming in.
18:04
Not sure what's going on. We had another call waiting there. But if you want to give me a call, the number is 8772072276.
18:14
Now this is an interesting issue. I can talk about this a little bit. The more callers come in the issue of Israel.
18:21
Now, as I said, some believe that the church has replaced Israel and some believe that Romans 1125 to 26, where it says that all
18:31
Israel will be saved. Some people hold that that means spiritual Israel, which is the
18:37
Christians. And in my opinion, I don't agree with that. I believe that God is not done with Israel.
18:43
I believe that when he says in Revelation 12 ,000 from each tribe will be going forth.
18:51
I believe that that is actually Israel. God's not not done covenantally with Israel.
18:57
And so I believe that more can be happening with them. And we've got to be in support of Israel.
19:03
That doesn't mean everything Israel does is right. And everything Israel does is good. We don't doesn't mean that. But overall, we need to be supporting them.
19:10
And I've been to Israel twice. It's, it's great. And I'm glad to have been able to go.
19:17
All right, let's get to Mario from North Carolina. Mario, welcome. You're on the air. Well, thank you,
19:24
Matt. Yes, sir. I just have a questions regarding Israel. I do have a conflict of understanding who the two
19:34
Jews are, because there is, I think there is a difference between the, the real
19:41
Jews and then God's nation,
19:46
God's people, and then Israel. So I just want to be able to understand that a little better.
19:53
If you can elaborate that for me, that would be great. Sure. They are the descendants of Abraham, because it was out of Abraham that God called his people.
20:12
God said, your name is Jacob, and he called him Israel. And this is where the nation comes from.
20:18
And these are descendants out of Abraham. So the true Jews, in the biological sense, are those descended from, from the people out of Abraham.
20:32
Okay. Now, you can become a Jew, even if you're not biologically descended.
20:38
And I forgot exactly how it works. But someone told me, you sign up, you join up, so to speak, go through the stuff.
20:47
And then you're considered or your descendants are considered full Jews after so many generations.
20:53
And that's a little foggy in my head. But I remember a guy who was Jewish told me that. So I don't know how exactly accurate it is.
21:00
But nevertheless, there are different kinds of Jews, ethically speaking, who have dispersed themselves throughout different parts of the world.
21:07
God knows who they are. And I believe that a lot of Jews also know who they are, from which tribes they have been descended.
21:15
So that's, that's the 30 ,000 foot view, I would say about that.
21:20
Okay. All right. Follow up questions regarding that. I think
21:26
I read somewhere in the Bible says that the true Jews are the believers, not necessarily biological
21:33
Jews. Right. Yeah. And that you can go to Romans two.
21:40
And it says, for he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, this is verse 28, nor circumcision that which is outward in the flesh, but he is a
21:49
Jew who is one inwardly, the circumcision is that which is the heart. So what Paul is doing there is talking about the true
21:56
Jews spiritually. That's a difference between the spiritual Jews and the biological
22:02
Jews. So I wasn't sure which one you're talking about. I thought it was the biological ones. But that's, that's what
22:09
I believe that God has not done covenantally with the biological Jews. Okay. Okay.
22:16
All right. Well, thank you very much, sir. You're welcome. All right. Well, God bless. Bye bye. Okay. All right.
22:24
Now let's get to George from North Carolina. George, welcome. You're on the air. Thanks, Matt.
22:31
I've been noticing that mostly on the internet, but a lot of people are trying to take a lot of this
22:37
Eastern mysticism, a lot of Hinduism, and trying to explain things that, that are knowledgeable in the world.
22:47
Okay. Hold on, buddy. We've got a break coming up. I know where you're going with this. This is going to be an interesting discussion. So hold on.
22:52
We'll get back after the break. All right? And we'll get back on to this. This will be good. Hey, folks, we'll be right back after these messages.
22:59
If you want, stay tuned. Give me a call afterwards. We'll talk to you in a bit. It's Matt Slick Live!
23:09
Taking your calls at 877 -207 -2276. Here's Matt Slick.
23:15
All right, everybody. Welcome back to the show. And I was just going to type something in one of the chat rooms, and I won't do it right now.
23:25
We've got calls, but I want to tell you what the number one takeaway is from being 19 days in Europe.
23:31
The number one takeaway that I experienced. We'll talk about that. Let's get back on the air with George.
23:39
Okay, George, you're back on, buddy. Hey, you know, as I look at the church,
23:46
I see that there's a lot of division for, you know, different doctrines and different things. And it's sad that the church is so divided.
23:56
You know, the churches are so divided on denominations and everything. It seems like, as Paul said, the one thing he stood behind was the cross, and that was the one thing that really mattered, that he preached the cross.
24:10
And, you know, I would hope that the church would get mature, more mature, more mature as time goes on, and that Jesus would come back for a mature church.
24:17
But it doesn't seem that the church as a whole is making a lot of progress toward being one united body that stands behind the one solid message of the cross.
24:29
It seems like, you know, people like religious leaders even try to divide themselves into different groups with different doctrines that have nothing to do with the cross, that have nothing to do with salvation.
24:41
And it seems that, you know, that division, you know, really hurts
24:46
Christianity because it seems like we have so many different voices, you know, that are so concerned with so many different doctrines that it's so easy for people to get lost in what's really important, which is ministering the message of the gospel and not arguing about, you know, things that will not change one person's eternal destiny from hell to heaven.
25:13
Now, I'm just wondering, what do you think, is this just a sign of the end of times for people, you know, arguing doctrines of devils?
25:44
And you're right, they're not preaching the gospel as much as needs to be preached. That's not to say there's not a lot of good pastors out there.
25:50
There are a lot of good pastors out there, but we need more. And you're right, there's a lot of division that's unnecessary, and it's really sad.
26:00
They need to preach and focus on who Christ is. I totally agree with you. It's something I've been talking about for many years, so I'm with you on that.
26:07
Well, it seems like, you know, like in the first century, the Gnostics were puffed up with knowledge.
26:14
They tried to make themselves seem like they were something remarkable. They just didn't acknowledge it.
26:20
I see that a lot of the people, you know, that preach, they want to glorify in their own knowledge,
26:29
I understand this, you know, in areas that aren't focused on bringing people into a relationship with Jesus.
26:39
And I don't, you know, in my own relationship with God, He's told me,
26:46
Hey, you already understand the crowning knowledge of all of creation and what a person must do to be saved.
26:52
Why are you seeking hidden knowledge? Focus on communicating the knowledgeous knowledge that is seen in all of creation, that's seen in the
27:02
Bible. That is what is important, communicating that. Not pumping yourself up with knowledge that was hidden, you know, that is hidden, that, you know, doesn't bring people to a close knowledge of God.
27:16
Yeah, we need to focus on the essentials. And the Christian church needs to humble itself before Christ.
27:23
And the pastors need to not seek getting numbers in their congregation, but the issues of preaching doctrines and the truth and let people leave.
27:35
Because our job is to equip the Christians for the work of ministry, not to get more numbers in. So this is something that needs to happen in the
27:43
Christian church. And I'm with you, we can have a long discussion on that. Okay?
27:49
In the Great Commission, it doesn't say go out and give people a prayer.
27:54
It says make disciples. That's right. In the Christian church, people just want to say,
28:00
Oh, now I led six people to the Lord this year, I'm baptizing three people. You know, how many disciples did you make?
28:07
You know, the evangelism process is not over until the evangelist lies becomes the evangelist.
28:13
And I think that's the biggest thing that's missing from the gospel. You have to accept
28:19
Jesus as your sacrifice. This is the first step. Communicating that to other people is picking up your cross and following Jesus.
28:28
And I think there's a lot of churches. I hear so many other messages other than, you know, like you say, equipping the saints to carry out the
28:39
Great Commission. It's very sad. It is. It is.
28:45
Well, I'm going to be preaching the gospel more. I really enjoy hearing it. I try to listen to it every day.
28:51
And I really appreciate it. All right, man. Well, God bless. Thanks for listening. Appreciate it. Thank you.
28:56
All right, man. God bless. All right. Let's see. Let's jump on with Elijah from Pennsylvania.
29:03
Elijah, welcome. You're on the air. Hey, man.
29:08
How you been? Yeah, yeah. Yeah. How you been? It's been a long time since we've talked.
29:14
It's been like three weeks. Were you on vacation or something? I was in Europe. I went to a 19 -day journey with a group.
29:25
We did the footsteps of Paul. We went to Turkey, and then we went to Greece, and then we went to Italy.
29:34
We're back. OK. That sounds nice. Oh, it was. A lot of getting up at 0 -dark -30, different foods, seeing all kinds of stuff, talking to all kinds of people.
29:47
I was witnessing. I talked to a priest and two monks and witnessed to them.
29:56
Anyway, so what do you got, buddy? Yeah, I've got a question about the end times, because I really like our end times discussion that we had before.
30:06
My question is, when
30:11
Jesus said to the apostles that they would be taken before the
30:19
Sanhedrin and the rulers and authorities, was he talking specifically to the apostles that that's just going to happen to them, or was he speaking towards the
30:35
Great Tribulation? Because I do have some footnotes in my Bible where they cross -referenced that verse with other parts, like Acts and the epistles, where they were taken before the
30:47
Sanhedrin and all that stuff. And that's in Luke 12,
30:55
I think, 8 through 11. But then when you go to Luke 21, where Jesus is talking about the
31:00
Great Tribulation, he also says the same thing. He says in Luke 21, he said they will hand you over to synagogues and prisons and be brought before kings.
31:13
Okay, so what's your question then? Yeah, my question is, do you think
31:23
Jesus was prophesying about the time around the destruction of the temple?
31:31
Because later on in Luke 21... Okay, hold on, hold on. Let's just get a quick, concise question.
31:38
Because when you say, because, and you go in another place, then you're talking about a whole other stuff here. So you want to know if eschatologically he was speaking just to them or also to people now, in the future -ish, about being delivered over, right?
31:54
Yeah. That's right. Both. The doctrine of what's called partial preterism is the view that a lot of it was fulfilled then, but will also be fulfilled before the second coming of Christ.
32:08
They'll deliver you over to tribulation, they'll kill you, you'll be hated by all nations because of my name. That's Matthew 24, 9.
32:14
Now, we know that Christianity is becoming ridiculed, attacked. More people died for the faith in the 1900s than all of history combined.
32:22
We know that, particularly in our country, the evil of the left is working against Christianity and seeking to kill the unborn, promote ungodliness everywhere.
32:37
And when we stand up, we're going to be persecuted for it. This is what's happening. So, yeah, it's going to be happening during the great tribulation period as well.
32:45
A lot of people will be beheaded. Yep. Okay, so do you think the destruction of the temple fits into the partial preterism too?
32:57
So do you think that in Luke 21, 20 through 24 that Jesus was prophesying about the destruction of Jerusalem in 70
33:05
AD, but do you also believe that he was also talking about the destruction of future Jerusalem during the great tribulation during the reign of the
33:12
Antichrist? That's the view of partial preterism, in that, yes, it happened then, and it'll be repeated again when the last temple is rebuilt in Jerusalem, and then there'll be destruction coming upon the world when the
33:26
Antichrist is revealed, 2 Thessalonians 2. Yep, so look at partial preterism. I think you'll find a lot of interesting stuff about it.
33:34
Partial preterism, okay? Yeah. Here's the music, buddy.
33:42
We've got a break, so hold on, okay? We've got people waiting, so call back tomorrow, okay?
33:47
And let's talk about this a little bit more, all right? Check out partial preterism in the meantime. All right, buddy.
33:54
Hey, folks, we'll be right back after these messages. We've got three callers waiting, but the number is 877 -207 -2276.
34:02
We'll be right back. It's Matt Slick live, taking your calls at 877 -207 -2276.
34:15
Here's Matt Slick. Welcome back to the show. Let's get on with Joseph from Louisiana. Joseph, welcome.
34:21
You're on the air, buddy. How you doing, Matt? Glad you got back. Yeah, I made it back coughing a lot and hitting my cough button because I got a bad head cold.
34:32
But other than that, hanging in there. What do you got, man? What's up? Well, I ripped the book of John out of my
34:39
Bible, and some people got awful upset over it. Oh, John.
34:45
Joseph. All right. Why would you do that? It says the deity of Jesus Christ.
34:54
That's how it started off. And it says in the beginning was the
35:01
Word, but that ain't the way it started in Genesis. I kind of got instructed to remove
35:10
John. So someone told you to take out the inspired book of John, directed by God through the apostle
35:21
John, and someone said take it out? Yeah. You shouldn't do that because that's not good.
35:31
Yeah, but the one that told me that was God Almighty, Matt. No, he wouldn't do that.
35:38
See, God would not contradict himself. And you and I have talked before, and you don't know who
35:48
God is, and you don't understand the gospel. You don't understand who Christ is. You're listening to a false shepherd.
35:55
Okay. What? God can't be a false shepherd.
36:01
It says there was a man sent from God whose name was John. You said you took the book of John out of the
36:09
Bible, right? Am I misunderstanding you? Yeah, I ripped it out on the video.
36:17
I mean, I did it perfectly. Let me just tell you, you're being foolish, you're being stupid, and you're listening to demonic forces.
36:28
That's what it is. Okay. Demonic forces? No, I don't listen to demonic forces.
36:33
Yes, you do. You don't even know. You repeatedly say anti -Christ stuff.
36:38
You repeatedly fail to understand the truth, and now you're destroying God's word. That's what
36:44
Satan did in the Garden of Adam and Eve, talking to Eve. Did God really say? So you're sitting here trying to decide what belongs in the
36:51
Bible, right? Oh, man. Well, God decided I didn't need John in my
36:56
Bible. No, the God you believe in said that, which is not the God of the Bible.
37:02
So you're believing in a false god and a demonic force, and you need to come to Christ. You need to understand something.
37:08
Jesus Christ is God in flesh. He died on the cross. He rose from the dead three days later. You have got to put your faith and your trust in Jesus.
37:15
Ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. Ask Jesus to reveal himself to you. Ask Jesus.
37:22
You need to trust in Christ. You need to come to him. Jesus told me to pray to my
37:28
Father and to forgive people, and my Father would forgive me. I'm telling you what you need to do.
37:35
Jesus reveals the Father, John 14, 26, John 15, 26. Jesus says, Ask me anything in my name and I will do it,
37:42
John 14, 14. So you need to ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins because Jesus reveals the
37:48
Father. If you don't have the right Jesus, you won't have the right Father, you'll get demonic feedback, which is what you repeatedly do because you're not a
37:56
Christian. You're lost. If you were to die right now, from what I understand of you, if I should die right now,
38:01
I don't want this to happen to you, you'd go to eternal destruction, to eternal hellfire. This is what's waiting for you.
38:07
This is what's waiting for you. The eternal damnation because you are rejecting the true gospel and rejecting the true
38:14
God. And in your foolishness, you continue to do this. I continue to tell you the truth.
38:19
You continue to reject it. But that's not what Jesus said.
38:25
It is what Jesus says. He says he's God in flesh. Jesus claimed to be
38:30
God. Okay? You're denying it. No, he didn't, right?
38:35
Before they crucified him, he claimed to be the Son of God. Yeah, and the term Son of God means he was equal to God, John 5, 18.
38:42
Jesus was calling God his own Father, making himself equal to God, John 5, 18. That's the commentary of John the
38:48
Apostle. He understood what it meant in that context. In John 8, 58, Jesus says, before Abraham was,
38:54
I am. They wanted to kill him for that. You go to John 10, 30. It says, I and the Father are one.
38:59
They picked up stones again to throw at him. They wanted to kill him. They asked him, why are you trying to kill me? Not because of good work, but because you, being a man, make yourself out to be
39:07
God. Well, the Pharisees didn't believe Jesus was God. They denied it just like you do. You're a
39:12
Pharisee. You're a false teacher. And I'm not mad at you. I'm just trying to inform you that if you don't repent of these false doctrines, you're going to go to eternal damnation.
39:23
Fire, hell, eternally is waiting for you. And nothing but God's mercy right now is allowing you to continue to breathe and have your heart beat.
39:34
That's the only thing that's keeping you alive is God's mercy. You need to get on your knees. You need to ask
39:40
Jesus to forgive you of all of your sins. You need to trust and receive Christ, God in flesh, who died on the cross and rose from the dead.
39:47
You need to trust in what he's done. And you need to get a Bible with a book of John in it and you need to believe all that God has given, not what you and your false
39:54
God and your false gospel teach. That's what you need to do. No, but Jesus' blood has taught me.
40:03
I gave him the gospel. We need to move on. Eli from Nebraska. Eli, welcome.
40:09
You're on the air. Hi, Matt. I just want to say, super big fan.
40:15
Thank you for all that you do. I have a quick question. What should we as Christians do if, say,
40:23
Kamala wins the election? Well, a lot of crying, weeping, rending of clothing, and throwing dishes at rocks outside.
40:35
Okay? Yeah, sounds about right. Now, let me tell you my opinion.
40:42
This is my opinion. I think the left is going to steal the election. I agree.
40:47
Trump is ahead all over the place. They know that if he gets in, he's going to expose a lot of their stuff.
40:52
He's going to cut a lot of people's work off. And if Elon gets in, he's going to do his work.
41:01
They're not going to let Trump get in. They're going to do something some way. Either the election will be rigged.
41:08
They're going to steal it. This is what I believe is going to happen. I don't think Trump's going to make it because I think he will naturally, but I don't believe the people in power will allow it.
41:19
And if that happens, what I'm worried about is a civil war. That's what I'm worried about. Yeah, definitely.
41:26
Me too. I'm definitely in the age to get drafted, so that's something
41:32
I guess, unless you don't get drafted, I don't know how that all works. But yeah, certainly some scary stuff.
41:37
But yeah, I've just been wondering about that because this is the first actual election
41:43
I get to vote in, so I'm just a little nervous for our future.
41:50
Yeah, I am too. The Kabbalah, whatever you want to call it, the deep state, whatever you want to call it. And see,
41:58
I would go to CARM and look up the 45 goals of communism. And if you're to go there, in fact, let me do this.
42:09
I don't have anybody else waiting. Let's see, 45 goals of communism.
42:16
And if you're to go through, there we go, I've got it right now. I'm looking at it. So if you were to go through those and you were to check out what is said, this was something that was, 1961 was read into the congressional record.
42:30
And I'm going to go through this. This is related. You'll see. To permit, there's 45 things.
42:35
I'm only going to go through a few. Capture one or both of the political parties in the U .S. Well, the Democrats have already been captured by the commies.
42:43
Okay, because they preach socialism. They preach killing unborn. They preach Jim Crow laws.
42:50
Control the schools. That's already happened. Use them as transmission belts for socialism and current communist propaganda.
42:58
Infiltrate the press. That's happened. Gain control of radio, TV, motion pictures for leftist propaganda.
43:05
That's happened also. Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography, obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, et cetera.
43:14
Present homosexuality, promiscuity as normal and natural and healthy. Infiltrate the schools and churches, et cetera.
43:22
So this stuff's going on. And I'm not even getting to everything, okay? So there are people...
43:28
Yeah, that's insane. Oh, yeah. There are people in power, and Trump, he's not one of them.
43:35
If he gets in, and I hope he does, they'll either assassinate him or they're gonna do whatever they can to try and destroy whatever he can.
43:44
They've been trying to destroy him from before he was even president the first time. They've been working against him.
43:50
You can't trust the left. You cannot trust them. So we'll see what's gonna happen. We'll just see.
43:57
Yeah. Yeah, no kidding. That's all we can do. But yes, thank you so much for answering my question.
44:04
Hope you have a good rest of your night. Okay, man. You too. God bless, buddy. All right.
44:09
Since we have nobody waiting, and I've got this file open, let me read through some of the stuff, the goals of the
44:15
Communist Party for the United States. Now, why are these things in effect? It's because they have been working from the inside to get us to fall.
44:28
Eliminate laws concerning subsistence by calling them censorship and violation of free speech.
44:36
Infiltrate churches. Replace revealed religion with social religion. Discredit the Bible. Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools.
44:45
Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old -fashioned, out of step. I've heard the left talk about this in different ways.
44:53
Discredit the American founding fathers, and that's what they're doing. Call them slave owners, and they can't be trusted.
44:59
Okay? Belittle all forms of American culture. Discourage the teaching of American history on the ground that it was only a minor part of the big picture.
45:09
Support any socialist movement to give centralized control over any part of the culture, including education, social agencies, welfare programs, et cetera.
45:19
Now, this is happening. They want governmental control. If the government is in control, it will tell you what you can and cannot have.
45:27
It'll control the means of production and distribution. This is socialism. And in order for them to retain their power, they have to remove your ability of power.
45:36
You can't have two equal powers, the government and the people. You have to have one in this kind of oppressive system until they'll take away your guns, and it doesn't matter about your vote.
45:46
Discredit and eventually dismantle the FBI. Well, they're doing that themselves. Infiltrate and gain control of the big business.
45:52
Yeah, well, Google's leftist. We know that Microsoft is leftist. Transfer some of the powers of arrest from the police to social agencies.
46:01
They were talking about that. I don't know if that's done yet. Discredit family as an institution.
46:08
One of the ways to do that is attack the man and to promote illegitimacy of birth, you know, children born out of wedlock, destroy the family.
46:18
This is happening. Easy divorce. It's rampant. Emphasize the need to raise children away from the negative influence of parents.
46:26
Now, I've got so many flashbacks. I hear that one about people who are saying parents who are filing lawsuits against teachers, against schools, various schools that are teaching their children homosexuality, having drag queens come in, all this stuff, and the schools are penalizing parents for this, for protesting.
46:48
Create the impression that violence and insurrection are legitimate aspects of the American tradition. This is what the left wants.
46:55
The left can use violence, but doesn't want the right to use it. Anyway, I can go on and on.
47:01
So, Christians, you need to vote. And I don't see how any
47:09
Christian could vote for any candidate who is pro -homosexual, pro -abortion, pro -socialism, pro -Marxism, because those are all unbiblical and are against Scripture.
47:22
You need to stand firm on the truth of God's Word and pray that God's will will be accomplished.
47:28
And if Harris gets in, it's because America deserves what it gets.
47:35
That's how bad things are. Hey, folks, there's the music. May the Lord bless you. I'm out of here, and by God's grace, back on the air tomorrow.
