Ben Carson & Franklin Graham Declare US Constitution is Inspired by God?

Hello, so I saw this story today.

I wanted to cover it.

This is on the dissenter I'll put a link in the description and also I'll put Franklin Graham's

tweet in the thumbnail for this video just so you can see it.

But it's in the link to both Ben Carson, you know, Ben Carson.

He's a well -known Seventh -day Adventist who gets invited to preach at Christian

conferences like Let's see Robert Morris that guy that just stepped down with that scandal

Ben Carson and Joyce Meyer.

We're gonna speak at his Former church and of course Ben Carson ran for president.

He's the African American Neurosurgeon, I believe he ran back in

2016 a Great guy by all accounts, although we would have some

very serious doctoral differences with the Seventh -day Adventists and Franklin Graham who

You know a lot of people respect Franklin Graham, I think there are probably some issues at the very

least who he fellowships with Paula White and whatnot, he's endorsed Paula White's book and

Not to get into those two men, but just to explain who they are I think everyone knows Franklin Graham and

Ben Carson as well.

Not as well -known, but pretty well -known Ben Carson is here's you saw it in the in the

description for the video Both men are now claiming that the US Constitution is

Inspired by God.

All right now listen, I am Glad that I live in the United States.

I wish Probably most people who watch this channel you wish as well that we would

actually follow the Constitution great respect for the US

Constitution don't get me wrong.

Okay, and I think the Constitution to some degree at least was formulated out of a

Christian worldview people who Their thoughts their ideas their worldview

Was very much Christian or influenced by Christian thought and they came up with the Constitution the Constitution

Maybe one of the greatest if not, the greatest man -made documents in the history of the world so

by no means am I Anti -american or just Denigrating or don't

care for the Constitution.

We know in this country who doesn't like the Constitution, right?

But anyways with all that said This claim by men

who should know better.

Okay, Franklin Graham Arguably is the most well -known

as far as people Protestants and Evangelicals, you know Billy Graham often was called the

Protestant Pope right now.

Franklin Graham is not He doesn't have the cachet that Billy Graham had but still

of all the Protestant evangelical leaders Franklin Graham is probably the most well -known and

Well respected across the board.

Okay, despite what you might think again, there are some people who think he has some real

Problems with doctrine or at least practice in who he fellowships with all that aside for them to

claim that the US Constitution is inspired by God.

This is this is a very serious matter.

Okay, this is an outrageous claim That really if you're consistent you would have to put the

US Constitution on par with scripture because the whole point of scripture being you know The Bible

being our authority is that it's inspired by God, right?

Second Timothy 3 16 says all scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for

doctrine for reproof for correction for instruction and Righteousness and I'm looking here just at the Greek

the Greek word Translated inspired inspired by God.

It is the honest us which means the contents of.

Scripture are.

God breathed.

In other words, the the words of the Bible are straight from God.

They are the Word of God.

They are inspired by God and yet this is from what I understand.

It looks like it's an informal kind of speech.

He's people are talking to him and he he says the the Bible is a God inspired

Document and of course, he's catching a lot of heat for that.

And then it appears that Franklin Graham tweeted out to Ben Carson on

Twitter or X as It's now called and Franklin Graham said no Ben Carson.

You're right Franklin Graham tweeted out the US Constitution is a God

-inspired document according to Ben Carson.

Franklin Graham comes to his defense saying I agree the US Constitution is

inspired by God.

Okay, if again if that's true, what's the issue then?

It means the US Constitution.

You could tack it on to the Bible which Didn't Donald Trump.

I don't know.

I don't want to say things that I don't know, but didn't they put out a Donald Trump?

It's not a study Bible a Donald Trump Bible with the Constitution Tacked on

to the end of the Bible didn't it didn't something like that happen and listen I did that video

where they were praying to wah a grew at the National Convention.

And I realize there are some pastors who do this.

They'll bring up something that Trump said or the Republicans did there.

Let me just warn you there are pastors who try to get people to not vote Republican because

secretly they're Democrats and people they're trying to get people to not support the Republicans

because they're Covertly trying to get that happened in a church in our area.

A guy was just kind of kind of railing against Conservatives and he was secretly

Liberal he didn't let anyone know.

But he was trying to get people in his church to not vote so so that he could smuggle in his

You know left -wing views which he did after he kind of drove all the conservatives out.

So I realize there's pastors who do that.

I am NOT doing that.

And let me just be clear I would never vote for the Democratic Party platform.

Anyone who knows me, you know that already because it's the Ten Commandments in reverse.

So I have no agenda like that.

I want to be clear.

Just like I want to be clear.

I am a Lover of the Constitution.

Okay, I wish we would get back as a country to the Constitution.

But guys, come on, it is not inspired.

It is not inspired by God.

It is not a document that is God -breathed because if it were then you actually could tack it on to the

Bible.

So the first second third John Jude Revelation and then the Constitution.

So now Presumably Franklin Graham and Ben Carson would not advocate for that.

But I mean guys at best.

This is confusing.

At worst.

Yeah, I mean heretical.

If if you take it to its logical conclusion I'll give them the benefit of the doubt that if they were to

clarify they would say well now that's not what we're that's not.

What we mean it's not inspired in the same way.

The Bible is.

Right.

They have to they have to know that so I want to give them the benefit of the doubt.

But this is a pretty Outrageous thing.

Yeah, it's outrageous.

So anyways, just wanted to do a quick video on that.

The Bible is the only Document it is the only writing that we have that is

inspired by God.

The 66 books of the Bible 39 books of the Old Testament 27 books of the New

Testament.

That is the only God inspired Writing that we have the Bible.

Okay again, 2nd Timothy 316 all scripture is given by inspiration of God.

That means God breathed.

The Greek word the honest us mean literally means inspired breathed out by God.

It is the Word of God.

The Constitution is not the Word of God and in no one writing the Constitution the people that

were involved None of them claimed that anyways, so Ben Carson

Franklin Graham, you know.

Listen don't want to be too hard on them.

But they know better.

They should know better than to say things like this.
