Hello, my name is Porfirio Jose Logo and I was raised

Catholic and then I was exposed to scripture and there was the point when

I got out of the Catholic Church and when I read the truth.

Nobody asked me to get out of there, it was until I read the Bible. I was exposed to metaphysics, occultism, but after that, after the

Lord saved my life and all my past was left behind and I was talking to you later before that your video was very instructive to us, to our small group in our hometown because I would say like in my city, even in Honduras, I would say that 99 .999

% of churches are teaching lies, you know, I mean like the prosperity gospel, that's very common here and I remember that there was a friend of my wife in the group, you know, that she was being prompted to go to a church of the

Word of Faith, but then we, in the small group, we started watching your video and after we finished, you know, she, that video like opened her eyes and prevent her from going to that Word of Faith church, you know.

Praise the Lord, yeah. So Perfidio, you tell me, so when you were

Catholic, you started reading the Bible for yourself? Yeah. And then did you, you went to your priest and you asked him?

You know, they had like a courses, you know, they called them here

Retiros, spiritual, you know, retreats, you know, but it's like a capacitación, they train you, they train you, but I noticed that they were very focused on the

Virgin Mary and I remember once I asked him, Father, where in the

Bible says that what you're teaching us? And I remember she said, hey, go have lunch and we'll talk later, but he never talked about it.

Never. We never touched that point. Yeah. You know, and they are always, you know, trying to, they go to the, the, the

Catholic church. It's not the Bible, the authority, the catechesis, the catechism, catechism, catechism, yeah.

And, uh, but never, they never motivate you to read the

Bible. You know, it's like you're never really in touch with the scripture, you know, because they just make two readings and then they talk about things that sometimes not related to it.

Right. But what changed my life was to read the scripture.

That's what, uh, you know, uh, as I told you before, you know, academically in my field,

I was well prepared, but what saved my life was not my academic training, was to read the scripture.

That was changed my life. You know, I academically, I was well prepared, but that means nothing to me, you know, my life was miserable.

It was until I read the Bible that my life was, was changed, it was exposure to the scripture.

How I got there, only God can answer that. Yeah. Yeah.

Yeah. That's wonderful. Praise the Lord, brother. Yeah. Praise the Lord. Yeah. All right.

Well, brother, thank you. Thank you for sharing that. Another thing I would like to say that I was a radical

Catholic, you know, I used to say bad things about Protestants and I thought they were crazy people, probably because that's what

I was seeing, you know, in my surroundings, you know, that the word of faith movement and that, that's, that's very dangerous because some people don't get to the, to the gospel because they see, they see people like jumping and hey, they are crazy.

Right. Right. Yeah. Interesting. So what I can say to you was my exposure, that the exposure that the

Holy Spirit made with me, with the scripture that changed my life, not my academic training, right?

Right. Yeah. Just scripture. Yeah. Amen. Praise the

And then she came. And it has caused a lot of oppression in the family also, from some part of the family, especially parents and things like that, you know?

Between your parents, it's caused division? In here? Yeah. Like an example.

For example, I used to listen heavy metal music, and they could have that loud at home.

Nobody would say anything. But the first time they heard the worship music, my father didn't like.

Oh. And he said, next time he brought me earphones.

Uh -huh. Right. Right. Wow. Wow. So your parents, are they Catholic? They're Catholic?

Are they still Catholic? Well, called Catholic, you know, here in Honduras, even people that don't go to church, and you're asking, what religion are you?

Most of them will say Catholic, but not necessarily practicing. All right, brother.
