There's a lot of strange and disturbing things that are happening in the world around us. Let's take a look at six stories and comment on them from a

This is the worst trend I've ever seen, and I might have to agree with him. Take a look at what people are celebrating now.

The article begins, quote, After Brandy Stellars finalized her divorce, she invited close friends to a soiree in May.

She mixed signature cocktails, hung a buy Felicia banner, and handed out fake rose petals to toss in the air.

Party decorations included a photo of a pair of penguins torn down the middle. I ripped the penguins in half because penguins are monogamous birds who are supposed to mate for life.

She says, well, I'm not your penguin anymore. The newly uncoupled are throwing themselves blowout bashes to mark their liberation from unhappy marriages, almost like reverse bachelorette parties.

I wanted to celebrate not a divorce, but a new chapter with people whom I love, want the best for me, says Stellars, who works at a cloud computing company in Columbus, Ohio.

Divorce used to be something to be ashamed of due to societal pressures and stereotypes, says Nicole Sedoma, a divorce lawyer who wrote the book,

Please Don't Say You're Sorry, about the topic. But today, people have really decided to nip that societal shame and instead embrace being divorced as another stage of life that some of us experience.

I did, I'm done t -shirts. On Pinterest, the online platform for sharing creative ideas, search trends show that people are gaining a new perspective on divorce, says

Swasti Sarna, global director of data insights at Pinterest. Pinterest searches for divorce party games surged 80 % and searches for divorce cakes rose 50 % in June 2022 from a year earlier.

There were also jumps in searches for divorce party decorating ideas, 35%, and for divorce gifts, 30%, according to Pinterest.

It was just this feeling of, I'm not ashamed of this, says Nadine Adamson, a real estate broker in Manhattan and Brooklyn who had a divorce party.

I think being married for more than 10 years in New York, I was married for 12, is a huge success. Continuing, quote,

Adamson had friends from Los Angeles fly to New York and they booked the hotel suite where she had stayed when she got married.

It felt like closure in a really beautiful way to be in the same hotel with the same view, she says. The four of them burned sage in the suite to rid it of negative vibes, filled the place with balloons, dined out, and then had a sleepover.

Adamson also continues to post on Instagram with the hashtag divorce party, not because she keeps throwing them, but as a way to highlight her new life, such as upgrading her brownstone with a cozy wood -burning fireplace.

I guess divorce parties are a thing, a Reddit user wrote a few months ago in a post that drew nearly 4 ,000 comments. The poster included a photo of an invitation from a divorcing couple that was throwing a joint party.

Plus ones are welcome. Ours will be there, it said. Now you get the idea, but eventually the article ends with this anecdote, quote, travel blogger

Maja Proskult says that her divorce process, done without lawyers, was lengthy enough that by the time the paperwork was done, much of her grief had settled and she was ready for a party.

Her sister supplied a crown and a finally divorced sash. The group went out dancing where the club's

DJ called out, let's have it for Maja's divorce party. That was a top, that was a top life moment for me, she says.

The fact that people are now celebrating divorce is absolutely disgusting and evil because God designed marriage to be both sacred and for life.

There should be no other response to divorce other than sadness and a desire to see the husband and wife be reconciled to each other somehow.

And the priority should be to do everything possible to avoid divorce. Now, if you ask the question, how does

God view divorce? There is a short answer. The short answer is given by God himself in Malachi, the last prophecy at the end of your

Old Testament, chapter 2, verse 16, where God says, I hate divorce.

I hate divorce. That is God's attitude toward a widely accepted, extremely popular and time -honored institution in human society.

God hates divorce. However, the sad reality is that people in our culture today would rather pursue their own personal selfish desires rather than be sacrificial to preserve a marriage.

Biblical love is an act of the will accompanied by emotion that leads to action on behalf of its object.

Let me give it to you again. Biblical love is an act of the will. It is first and foremost a choice.

I saw this video going around on Twitter of someone on TikTok talking about making accommodations for people with what she calls time blindness.

So I just got yelled at for asking a very reasonable question. So I'm applying to go somewhere and I just wanted to know, are there accommodations for people who struggle with time blindness and being on time, you know?

And then the person I was with interrupted and acted like I was asking something else. And then when we were done, they actually started yelling at me and saying that accommodations for time blindness doesn't exist.

And if you struggle with being on time, you'll never be able to get a job. You know, provided you're trying your absolute best to be there.

And then they're like, your stupid generation wants to destroy the workplace. And yeah, I think that a culture where workers are just cut off because they struggle with being on time when there's other solutions that we can look to.

I think that just anybody who thinks it's okay to just treat people like that. Yeah, that culture needs to be dismantled.

And then I asked that person, how can you feel good about yourself upholding this kind of system? And then to think

I'm entitled. No, if people think it's okay to treat others like this, that's entitlement. I don't know about you, but I think this is a really bad excuse for not showing up to work on time.

And then nobody suffers from a genetic disease called time blindness. If you work for a company, you do everything necessary to show up to work on time.

And if you can't bring yourself to do that, then I see no reason why a company would want to hire you. Look at chapter 2 and verse 15.

The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

Folks, work is not a product of the fall. Work is a product of creation.

In fact, creation is first a product of God's work. And then our work is a product of God's creation.

God is now in the business of the work of redemption and the work of recreation.

This is why Jesus says, I must work the work of him who sent me while in his day for the night is coming when no man can work.

It is not work that is a product of the fall. It is the arduous nature of our work that is a product of the fall.

It is the difficulty and the opposition that we face in our work. And quite frankly, it's our attitude toward our work.

That's the product of the fall. That is why today modern man's attitude is,

Deranged Jack Smith, the prosecutor with Joe Biden's DOJ, sent a letter. Again, it was

Sunday night, stating that I am a target of the January 6th grand jury investigation and giving me a very short four days to report to the grand jury, which almost always means an arrest and indictment.

I personally think that although it seems that Trump made some very questionable, even illegal, decisions regarding classified documents, there does seem to be a double standard in the justice system, where when someone on the left like Hillary Clinton does basically the same thing, she faces no consequences.

Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case.

Prosecutors necessarily weigh a number of factors before deciding whether to bring charges. There are obvious considerations like the strength of the evidence, especially regarding intent.

Responsible decisions also consider the context of a person's actions and how similar situations have been handled in the past.

In looking back at our investigations into the mishandling or removal of classified information, we cannot find a case that would support bringing criminal charges on these facts.

But when someone on the right like Donald Trump does this, indictment and arrest is pursued. This seems to be a very dangerous precedent for the country.

For many of us, particularly Christians, we don't like the direction that our government is taking. We don't like the moral choices the government is taking.

Legalizing marriage, stem cell research, and a myriad of other things.

Elevating immoral people, encroaching on our lives, taking away our freedoms. These are things that disturb

Americans and many Christian Americans. I want to know, what do you think about Donald Trump and the charges he is facing?

In other Republican primary news, it seems that Vivek Ramaswamy is gaining a lot of traction with Republican voters, so much so that he may actually be ahead of Ron DeSantis in the polling now.

I think who hasn't practiced politics for a living. I'm not a practitioner. No, you're not.

You're not a practitioner. So it's interesting. So let me start with a very quick overview. You've been traveling around the country for the past, what, three months, four months?

Yeah, four months. How do you think the country's doing? I think the country is doing poorly, is the answer.

I think that we have a void in our country. What we found is that no

Republican president has actually done it, Trump included. Well, Vivek is making the same promise, but here he's asked, well, how will you do that?

And here's his response. I'm coming in with a clear -sided view, Glenn, of shutting down most of the administrative state.

How realistic is that? Very realistic. So first of all, do it on strong legal authority. So I'm a unique combination.

The $80 billion spent in the U .S. Department of Education, you know what? That would stimulate the economy to give it back to the people.

That's my legal justification. So I understand the legal footing. By the way, what stopped Trump? The civil service protections, they said.

Well, guess what? Read the law. Civil service protections protect against the individual firings of employees for supposedly political reasons.

They do not apply to mass layoffs. And mass layoffs are absolutely what I'm bringing to Washington, D .C.

Would you lay it off, reform it, or close it down, these institutions? Many agencies, I would just shut down the agencies.

There's a certain list of other agencies where we have 75 % headcount reduction plans. And then there are other agencies which we move out of Washington, D .C.,

make people move. Many of them will volunteer not to. We save on the severance costs. Imagine that.

He actually, now, does the fact that he has a plan for accomplishing this, does that mean that he'll be able to accomplish it?

Not necessarily. You know, having a plan is not the same as being able to execute it. Personally, I would prefer either

Vivek Ramaswamy or Ron DeSantis over Donald Trump because I believe Trump would do worse than either of them in a general election.

And I would love to maximize the chance of the Democratic Party not retaining power over the presidency. They are haters of God.

Not only do they do these things, verse 32 says, but they give hearty approval to those who practice them. And I told you that the

Democratic Party has basically personified verse 32. They have given hearty approval to murder, hating

God, sexual liberation. They have made the sins of Romans 1 their party platform, if you can believe that.

However, it does seem that Donald Trump currently has an unshakable lead in the Republican primaries. What do you all think about Vivek Ramaswamy and or Ron DeSantis?

It seems that Fox News is really struggling after firing Tucker Carlson from its network. Colin Rugg tweeted,

Just in. Fox News ratings are in an absolute freefall. After their primetime revamped turned out to be a massive flop.

The once dominant news outlet is falling to MSNBC. According to Chadwick Moore, the author of Tucker, executives at Fox are panicking after ratings came in terribly low.

Hannity lost to MSNBC's Rachel Maddow in ratings, getting roughly three times less the amount of ratings that Tucker Carlson got on average with Fox.

While Fox continues to struggle, Tucker has reportedly struck a seven -figure advertising deal with Public Square for his show on Twitter.

America is watching. You're welcome, America. This is significant because it's another sign that legacy media outlets are becoming more and more irrelevant and other news sources such as Tucker Carlson simply making and posting videos on Twitter are gaining traction.

That's a good sign because it means that it's becoming more and more difficult for enormous media corporations to control the narrative that everyday people hear.

The truth is important, and it's important that people have other options for hearing the truth about what is happening in the world.

1 Corinthians chapter 15. And I believe Paul here just really lays out for us in a very logical, systematic fashion why it is that truth matters and why it is that truth is necessary and why it is that this truth ought to be held to, clung to, and defended.

There's several arguments that he makes here. What do you think about what's happening with Fox and Tucker? However, censorship is still a very big issue and concern and this is demonstrated by some very concerning things that have been happening here on this platform in the past few days, especially related to the movie

Sound of Freedom. Justin Is Lost is a YouTuber whose videos I have watched occasionally and he tweeted that his entire channel was deleted.

He wrote, For those asking, with a letter saying, Hi Justin Is Lost, we have reviewed your content and found severe or repeated violations of our policy on harmful conspiracy theories.

Because of this, we have removed your channel from YouTube. Justin appealed this decision and this is the reply he received.

Hi Justin Is Lost, we have reviewed your channel carefully and have confirmed that it violates our harassment policy.

We know this is probably disappointing news, but it's our job to make sure that YouTube is a safe place for all. So first of all, there's two different reasons given for deleting his channel.

And what's pretty terrifying about all of this is summarized by another tweet from Justin saying, I had no strikes, no warnings, fully monetized, and my channel was deleted without prior notice.

The appeal was denied, but there were no rules broken and no warnings given to rules being broken. And it's not just Justin who is experiencing this.

TheQuartering tweeted, There is definitely a purge going on right now on YouTube. It's wild how many accounts have been banned or received undeserved strikes in just the past two days.

Other accounts that I saw affected include Luke Rutkowski who tweeted, I just got a strike and my video removed for doing a review of Sound of Freedom for harassment and cyberbullying.

This is crazy. Viva Frey, who was given a strike because of medical misinformation for a video that had been up for months.

Ernest Ramirez, who was given a strike for pretty much the same thing. And Revolutionary Blackout Network, which received its second strike for pretty much the same thing.

It does seem that YouTube reversed its decision about Luke. In a surprising turn of events, YouTube took down the strike and returned our channel.

All of this points towards the fact that there is pretty much no safety for people who do not conform to a particular narrative and that it's possible to lose your entire channel without any warning for no clear reason.

But when a friend of mine posted on his

Twitter about this book upcoming, Twitter put a warning on it.

And then another friend, you know, did that and Twitter put a warning on it. I put something up about it. Twitter put a warning on it. I'm hoping I can continue to make content on this platform for you all, but there really are no guarantees.

I want to know what are your thoughts concerning all this censorship regarding Sound of Freedom and medical misinformation.

I know all of this news can sound pretty depressing, but let's remember as Christians that God still reigns and that the gospel gives us hope no matter what we face in this life.

The Bible says we've all sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. We're not lost sheep looking for a shepherd.

We're God -hating rebels running with all our life to get away from Him because we want to be sovereign Lord over our own universe.

And the Bible says you keep doing that, you'll even be more destroyed. The Bible calls you to repent, to recognize your sin and to hate it and to run back to God, a just God who could not forgive you because you have broken every law except that He sent

His Son to pay for every crime you ever committed. The payment has been made. Justice has been satisfied.

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved. That's what it's about. Your good works are like filthy rags.

They are dead before God and of no account. They're just like mine. The only merit, the only virtue we have is

Jesus Christ crucified and resurrected from the dead. Our only hope and our only glory.
