Welcome back to another interdenominational meeting. It's Thanksgiving week, so I thought what would be nice in this meeting is if we went around the room and we said something that we're thankful for about someone else.

Methodist than a Baptist. Touche. To be quite honest, I'm just glad the Baptist gives the

Presbyterian someone to be friends with, so they leave us alone. Oh, why did I not know this would immediately go off the rails?

Well, I'm thankful for the Lutherans because they're a lot like us. They're accepting of all different kinds of people, they ordain women pastors, and they understand that love is love.

Trust me, I'm not that kind of Lutheran. Well, I can say I'm truly thankful for the Orthodox Church, for they give us someone to make fun of Protestants with.

Don't get too excited. We don't like you that much either. Well, guys, I'm thankful for Baptist Apostles.

What's that? Well, basically, they're people who believe both in speaking in tongues and in once saved, always saved.

Well, Eva, would you like to say someone that you're thankful for? Actually, I think you should all be thankful for me, since most of your new members come from people who leave our church.

Yeah, but you take people from our churches too. Well, maybe the real problem is too much of church growth is actually coming from people hopping from one church to another, and we could all be doing a better job of actually reaching the lost.

Well, at least people who come to our church aren't coming just for a rock concert. Wait for it. They come for superior theology.
