Our last speaker tonight is Rusty Thomas, National Director of Operation Rescue and Operation Save America.
00:08
Reverend Thomas has a twofold strategy to continue the ministry of Operation Rescue and Operation Save America, and they are the
00:14
States of Refuge campaign and the Operation Let My People Go campaign. Reverend Rusty Thomas.
00:32
I come with a prop, my cowboy hat, because Pastor Jeff invited me here tonight to summarize this meeting, but my duty is to put on my cowboy hat and I'm to stare at you for five minutes without saying a word, and then when
00:56
I speak again, go and sin no more.
01:05
But since we don't have that much time, I'll take off my hat and get into the message. Amen? Here you go, bud.
01:17
Has this been illuminating this evening? I sure hope so.
01:29
How many of you have seen the movie Woodlawn? How many seen that movie,
01:34
Woodlawn? Some of you? Did you enjoy it? Yeah, I did too. I enjoyed it.
01:40
I saw it three times. And it was the third time I got the revelation, because what was happening in the movie of Woodlawn was
01:51
God was moving in the affairs of men when it came to racial hatred and violence, and the love of God invaded that kind of violent racial atmosphere, and he started touching hearts and changing minds.
02:12
It's a really powerful film. Now, what was interesting about the film that I picked up the third time,
02:17
I didn't pick it up the first two times, but the last time they kept asking, why is this happening?
02:25
Why are you doing what you are doing? What accounts for this?
02:33
And they always gave a time frame reference. It's time.
02:41
It's just time, and I believe at this moment in God's providential history, it's time.
02:56
It's time to have this conversation. It's time that we have this dialogue.
03:02
It is time that there is a paradigm shift that ends child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood.
03:13
It's time for a change. Amen? America has been staggering under the weight of blood guiltiness for 43 years, and indeed,
03:28
God makes everything beautiful in his time. Now, before I continue,
03:37
I would be remiss not to give honor where honor is due.
03:43
I want to thank Russell Hunter, Toby Harmon, and the
03:51
AHA brethren for their stellar work in Oklahoma. They were the ones that introduced
03:59
SB 1118 to the Oklahoma Senate. And because of that work, we are here tonight.
04:08
And the Bible tells us some sows some water, but it's
04:16
God who gives the increase. And that should be our prayer tonight, brothers and sisters, that we are praying for the advancement of the kingdom of God to set us free from this culture of death that's literally savaging our nation.
04:36
Now, while we were in Oklahoma, we had what I consider a divine appointment.
04:43
You may have saw some videos. How many saw the interview with Pastor Jeff and Tony Longier from the the vice president of the
04:53
National Right to Life? We need to put this in perspective, because while we were in Oklahoma lobbying for this bill to treat abortion for what it truly is, murder, and to be criminalized accordingly,
05:13
Tony Longier had a letter, and he was there to convince the senators not to vote for this bill.
05:25
And so we met him in the hallway, and we had a frank conversation.
05:31
And if you haven't seen those videos, I really would encourage you to see those videos, because I believe it was a moment in time captured prophetically that reveals why we have endured 43 years of an
05:51
American Holocaust. Now, he's a kind man.
05:56
He's a nice man. But as you watch this video, you will realize the failed policies of God's people when it's responding to this scourge that is upon our nation.
06:18
And right after that, Jeff had the interview with him. And it was an amazing thing, because we spent about an hour with him, really, honestly, showing respect, showing kindness, but literally pummeling him with the truth.
06:31
And every time we did that, literally, his head would be bowed. He really had no answer to the things that we were saying to them.
06:40
And every time we challenged him, he just went back to this failed ideological template.
06:52
And Jeff didn't know we had this encounter. And so right after we have this encounter,
06:58
Jeff calls him up to have the interview. And what's amazing about that, after this hour -long challenge,
07:07
Jeff asks him similar questions, and nothing changes.
07:13
Nothing. It's like we never had that encounter at the state capitol.
07:20
He just went back to the failed default template of the pro -life industry in the
07:29
United States of America. And when you watch these films, this is what is very evident.
07:38
And he represents a lot of thinking and belief systems within the pro -life movement.
07:45
He prefers a scientific, medicinal approach to eventually ending the slaughter of innocent children made in the image of God, instead of a biblical and a consistent
08:07
Christian approach to ending the slaughter. It was clear that he preferred the wisdom of men rather than unsheathing the sword of the
08:19
Spirit and standing foursquare upon God's truth. It was clear that he preferred the pragmatic, what works in the real world, rather than what is right according to principled leadership.
08:42
When you watch these films, it is clear he prefers the sinking sand, man -made policies than the solid rock of God's Word.
08:55
Now Pastor Jeff has already quoted from Matthew chapter 7. The wise man, the foolish man, what do they have in common?
09:07
See, they all hear the words of God. But one man actually applies them in the real world, and the other doesn't.
09:17
And listen, according to this teaching by Jesus Christ, none of us escapes the challenges of living in this world.
09:26
The storms come to all. The rain comes to all. It beats on us all.
09:33
But when the smoke clears, one is standing and the other has fallen and great.
09:41
Is the fall. Now sometimes we practice theological, I call it theological reductionism.
09:48
We just kind of make that personal. Like I'm a personal guy, and I heard the words of Jesus, so what
09:55
I'm gonna do is I'm gonna be wise, and I'm gonna apply that to my personal life. Well this, this teaching by Jesus, this is not just personal.
10:06
It's exhaustive. It's comprehensive, and it impacts every area of human life.
10:17
Whatever, I don't care if it's my personal life, my family life, government, education, journalism, science, biology, whatever, is not built on the foundation of God's Word.
10:35
It is sinking sand, and I don't care how much money you throw at it. I don't care how many government programs you institute, how many police officers you have.
10:45
You are doomed for failure. You see in these videos, literally, the difference of what
10:59
Jesus talked about between the old wineskin and the new wineskin.
11:07
How many know the old wineskin cannot handle the new wine?
11:15
See, the old wineskin can't handle the paradigm shift. They can't handle the change that is necessary, and it's very evident in that video, there is a changing of the guard.
11:32
The old guard, the old wineskin is becoming obsolete, and it's passing away, and a new guard is emerging.
11:42
And this new guard, get this, they're not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and the truth of his
11:53
Word. Brothers and sisters, we can no longer deny our
12:02
Lord, compromise his truth, and ignore his commandments, and expect we're going to get his aid and help to end this
12:14
Holocaust. And if there's one thing I want to say here tonight, we must understand, we cannot defeat child sacrifice and the shedding of innocent blood if we are going to continue to fight and argue against abortion based on the premises of those who advocate baby murder.
12:41
He who defines wins. He who defines wins.
12:47
Who's been defining this thing? If our starting point is off, can we reach our destination?
13:05
There are five premises I want to introduce tonight, and this is my prayer, that from this point on, after these five premises are introduced, that it changes the standard of what it means to be pro -life.
13:32
How many know previously to be pro -life? There's a lot of wiggle room. A lot of wiggle room.
13:41
Exceptions here, exceptions there, and by the way, it's the exceptions like rape, like incest, like the life of the mother.
13:52
What liberals and progressives do, they always take the worst -case scenario possible to pull on our heartstrings to make what previously was unspeakable mainstream.
14:09
And it's through the exceptions, the Mack truck of abortion on demand has run this nation to the ground.
14:22
He who defines wins. How many has been getting that message tonight?
14:30
You ready for the five premises? To my fellow churchmen, to legislators, get ready.
14:41
Here's the paradigm shift. Here is the necessary change to abolish abortion immediately.
14:50
Like repent of killing babies and shedding their innocent blood.
14:58
Number one, you've heard it here tonight, and you know, my part is consider me like the second witness of what happened.
15:08
How many know out of the mouth of two or three witnesses let it be established? Well, I'm going to be the second witness of what has gone on here this evening.
15:17
Number one, to be pro -life now. Everybody say now. To be pro -life now, you must understand this truth.
15:27
Courts cannot make law. That's the first premise that has to be established.
15:36
That is a foundation that must be laid. Now courts can issue rulings, they can issue opinions, but they cannot make law that is reserved for the legislative branch of our government.
15:51
Anybody here of we the people, did anybody vote for this atrocity?
15:58
Anybody here vote to murder babies and shed innocent blood? Anybody here vote for that? Any of our representatives vote for this?
16:10
Courts cannot make law, but Roe vs. Wade did establish a covenant with death, and that covenant needs to be broken in the mighty name of Jesus.
16:26
Amen. Number two. Ready? Number one, courts cannot make law.
16:33
Number two, because courts cannot make law, Roe vs.
16:39
Wade and other decisions like Obergefell, where they're trying to redefine marriage, legal fiction.
16:47
Everybody say legal fiction. It's legal fiction.
16:54
But you tell a lie often enough, how many know for many people it becomes truth. It's legal fiction, and it's fictional on two major counts.
17:07
As previously stated, it's not constitutional. The Constitution actually says, no person shall be deprived of life without due process of law.
17:23
My goodness, in our own national covenant, the
17:28
Declaration of Independence, what is the most first and most fundamental right that we have as Americans?
17:37
Anybody remember that? What's it called? Right to life.
17:44
Now need I remind us that we fought a great civil war over violating our national covenant for right to liberty against our black brothers and sisters?
17:58
That cost us 630 ,000 men to atone for that crime against humanity.
18:03
We have murdered 60 million children made in the image of God and shed their blood while violating our own national covenant.
18:14
You tell me what's stored up for our future. Tell me.
18:22
Any thinking, biblically minded American who knows our founding documents, who knows the scriptures, who knows the
18:29
God of Scripture, who doesn't change. You tell me what we have stored up in the
18:36
United States of America. We don't escape this, brothers and sisters.
18:45
We will be held accountable for every single drop of innocent blood that has been shed in this nation.
18:57
That I guarantee by the authority of Almighty God in his word.
19:02
We're in trouble. Make no mistake about it. We are in deep, deep trouble.
19:10
And our main enemy is not Obama. It's not the Democratic Party. It's not the communists.
19:17
It's not Islam. It's not even the abortion industry and the homosexual agenda.
19:24
You know what our main problem is with? The God of this book.
19:33
And when he becomes your enemy, you got a mighty big enemy, my friend. And all the homeland security in the world can't protect you from him.
19:49
Number three, to be pro -life from now on.
19:58
You must believe and confess abortion is murder. Can we say that?
20:06
Abortion is murder. Now, how do we know that? Because the
20:12
God of this book said thou shall not murder. It's a direct violation of God's commandment.
20:21
Amen. Now, here's the deal. The pro -life industry has been very squeamish about associating abortion with murder.
20:34
So the pro -life has a lot of victims when it comes to abortion.
20:42
The only problem is God only recognizes one victim, and that is the person being murdered.
20:52
Amen. So we call it what it is.
20:58
Amen. And here's the deal. If we cannot correctly define this practice, how do we expect to defeat it?
21:12
You know, this is one of the problems politically, right? In our foreign policy. You know, we don't want to call things what they are.
21:24
Like war on terror. Well, that's general. But what terror are we talking about?
21:30
See, we don't want to define it. And if you don't define it, how in the world can you defeat it?
21:38
He who defines wins. Now, biblically, there is a twofold purpose for civil government.
21:53
Number one, there's two reasons why God created and established civil government.
22:01
First of all, he doesn't want to see mankind resort back to the brutality and the violence and evil that preceded the flood.
22:13
And so God raised up civil government to restrain evil.
22:19
And in the New Testament, we know that he established civil government and called them to be his minister, his servant, to do two things.
22:30
To punish the evildoer and to protect the good citizens of the land.
22:38
Now, here's the catch. When God says punish the evil and protect the good, he actually has the authority by virtue of his commandments to define for his creation what is good and what is evil.
22:54
And if we don't get that right, how many know the Bible warns society and the government can come to a place where good becomes evil and evil becomes good, and once that evil is codified into law, you, my friend, are going to be subject to tyranny and oppression.
23:16
How many know our chains are already being forged? How many know our government is celebrating, demanding, upholding, protecting things that God calls abominations?
23:33
Do you know that? So they must, of necessity, punish the righteous.
23:45
Secondly, God established civil government to protect life and stop the shedding of innocent blood.
23:55
You will find that in Genesis 9, 6, when Noah vacated the ark,
24:01
God came to him and he said this, if man sheds blood, criminal, by man, civil government, his blood shall be shed.
24:14
Why? Because man is made in the image of God. And I am speaking to my church brethren.
24:21
Brothers and sisters, this is not the church's first rodeo. It has been the
24:26
Church of Jesus Christ throughout history that has taken on atrocity after atrocity.
24:33
We have taken on human sacrifice. We have taken on slavery. We had taken on so many ancient evils.
24:40
And through the love and the truth of Jesus Christ, we have conquered and set nations free.
24:46
Now somehow in the modern day America, we have forgotten who we are and whom we serve and what
24:53
Christianity is all about. But that is who we are.
25:00
This is what we do. Rally the lesser magistrate to defend the pre -born.
25:25
That's our fourth premise. Rally the lesser magistrate to defend the pre -born.
25:36
What is the symbol over the lady with the two scales?
25:42
What does she got over her eyes? A blindfold. What does that mean? Impartial.
25:51
Right? They call it blind justice. Amen? Impartial. Here's the thing, brothers and sisters.
25:59
Pastor Jeff brought out a scripture in Exodus that shows that the same
26:05
God who wants justice for the born requires justice for the pre -born.
26:12
In Exodus, the scripture he talked about is a situation where two men are fighting, and as prone to do, sometimes women get involved.
26:23
You can talk to police about domestic violence cases.
26:30
That woman will jump in there even when she's been beaten up by her own husband and try to protect her husband from the police officer.
26:39
Now the scripture says if that woman is carrying a child, if no mischief follows, in other words nothing happens to the woman, nothing happens to the child in the womb, the husband could still plead his case before the judge, and if the judge thinks there's something legitimate and warrants a penalty, he can bring that forth.
27:01
But God's Word says if mischief does follow and harm comes to that woman and that baby in the womb, it's an eye for an eye.
27:13
It's a tooth for a tooth. Now in legal principle, this is what is known as lex talionis, the law of retaliation.
27:27
In other words, in the science of criminology, the punishment should fit the crime.
27:37
Nothing more, nothing less. In fact, this is what happens when it becomes less.
27:44
In Ecclesiastes, it says this, because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, tell me if this is not what you see in America.
27:59
Therefore the hearts of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.
28:07
Literally, the lex talionis, this is like God's golden rule.
28:12
Do unto others as you would do unto them. This is God's golden rule applied in the area of justice.
28:23
And this is what we want to see happen, brothers and sisters. We want to see our fifth principle take place.
28:33
Establish justice by abolishing abortion immediately.
28:40
Amen? We had this bill in Oklahoma, this SB 1118.
28:47
I would encourage you all to look up this bill, to study it. It's a historic bill.
28:55
It's the first bill that treats abortion for what it is, murder.
29:01
And it calls for its criminalization. Now people may think that's radical.
29:08
That we may, you know, we somehow losing our minds over this thing. Brothers and sisters, all we're simply demanding is equal justice under the law.
29:22
The same God who wants justice for the born is the same God that wants justice for the pre -born. He doesn't make any distinction there.
29:33
And we talk about justice for this and justice for that. Can I just tell you something? This is the reality we're facing.
29:43
You know, Abraham Lincoln, which controversial figure, depend upon who you're talking to, he said this when it came to slavery.
29:55
He says, if we don't grant freedom to others, do we deserve it ourselves?
30:06
He said, God did not send anybody into this earth that is stamped with his image to be stomped on.
30:21
We've been stomping pretty good. We've been stomping, taking precious children made in the image of God and reducing them to the status of garbage.
30:37
By the way, children that God calls gifts, blessings, rewards.
30:47
How many know we're not in agreement with God on this issue? We are not. So here's how it's going to work, brothers and sisters, and you can mark this down.
30:56
If there's no justice for the pre -born, is there justice for us?
31:06
If there's no life for the pre -born, what do we deserve?
31:16
See, when I call the church to repent and to bring forth fruits meet for repentance by ending our silence in inaction when it comes to this
31:28
Holocaust, I tell them over and over again, you are not just fighting for the pre -born.
31:36
You are fighting for your children. You are fighting for your grandchildren.
31:42
You are fighting to secure a future and a hope in a nation that is literally doing things, that is begging for God's judgment to stop us.
31:57
And we must live our lives in such a way from here on out to give
32:02
God a reason to show mercy. So my last exhortation is this,
32:09
Church of the Living God, repent, end the silence in the inaction, bring forth fruits meet for repentance, and abolish human abortion.
