Let's talk a little about the Christian YouTubers I know about, and I'll share some thoughts about them. When I first started making videos on YouTube, the biggest

Christian YouTube channels I was aware of were channels like The Beat by Alan Parr. I had a dream that I could do a simple evaluation of Joel Osteen's teachings, like an analysis of how he uses the

Bible in particular, but that dream was crushed because when I posted my video and while it was getting quite a lot of views and helping a lot of people as the messages

I received were telling me, Joel Osteen decided to have that removed from the What do you mean? And the next time that someone is hostile to you because of your faith, you can just go ahead and ask them, what do you mean?

And Ruslan KD. Imagine driving by, you see someone playing along the train tracks and they have on noise canceling headphones and they're jamming out and having a good time.

What they don't know and can't see is that there's an oncoming train. Sometimes you have to be okay with being confused as loud, annoying, obnoxious, attention seeking to get somebody's attention that may really need your help.

I certainly have some theological differences with these men, some of them quite significant, but I've never chosen to make any videos pitting myself against them.

They each have some content that's pretty good and some content that I find questionable, but I don't see them as enemies of Christianity.

There were also some large YouTube channels with theology that is closer to my own, such as Grace to You, which is a ministry of John MacArthur.

So in reality, there are only two possible options to acceptance with God. There is what

Jesus called the narrow way and the broad way. They both say heaven, they both don't go there. The narrow way is the way of the gospel, the way of grace, the way of faith, and it leads to life.

The broad road is the way of works and religion, and it says heaven, but it goes directly to hell.

There's no salvation apart from belief in the true gospel. All other messages, all other religions, all other gospels are demonic deceptions, satanic religions in one form or another.

Is he a Christian? Does he know this is a Christian organization? And when I saw it was real, I couldn't wait for them to share the gospel.

So I fast forwarded, and man, you could feel the tension in the air. The mouths were dry.

We're arguing that it's up to the mother, because at that point for the next nine months, the mother's going to be carrying the child, going to be carrying...

She's carrying a what? Carrying a what? The child. The child. Okay. I think she said carrying the child, didn't she? She did.

There was Joe Kirby and Off the Curb Ministries. I'm not sure exactly where his theology is, but Joe was and still is very good at making unique and encouraging videos that kind of stand out in the

YouTube universe. And personally, I'd say I'm about 99 % sure I know who built the

Great Pyramid. But before I reveal my opinion, let's look at the four possible candidates.

There was also Lion of Judah, which is kind of in a different category and makes inspirational style videos.

In a world experiencing uncertainty and so many different seen and unseen dangers of every kind, it's comforting to know that God has promised to protect his children.

There's also AOC Network, which does a lot of videos about end times. It doesn't take much to see that we are living in times where wickedness is increasing.

Humanity has become prideful, godless, but at the same time, the gospel is spreading through technology at a rapid pace like never before.

And these are the things that scripture said would happen right before the second coming.

In contrast to the Christian YouTubers I've mentioned so far, I have been very critical of other professing

Christians on YouTube whom I believe are dangerous false teachers who have compromised on foundational issues, such as Joel Osteen.

You know, I know I'm not a traditional pastor teaching scripture by scripture.

I would teach would just be more how to live a great life. T .D. Jakes. I started giving on that level so that God would owe me.

Oh, y 'all don't hear what I'm saying? You can't handle that. I started giving on the level where I put God in debt and God said,

I'll owe no man. I started giving on the money that I wanted to make. I started giving on a deal that hadn't closed yet and that God had to open up the windows of heaven and pull me out of blessing because he wasn't going to be in debt to me.

Joyce Meyer. Why do people have such a fit about God calling his creation, his man, not his whole creation, but his man, little gods?

Christian pastors whom the more I hear from them, the more I am convinced they have also compromised concerning foundational issues, such as Andy Stanley.

I'm not anchoring because the Bible says the Bible, I quit saying the Bible says nine years ago. I don't think I've said it yet since unless it just slipped out.

And Mike Todd. If I was there, maybe I would have told him, is there something in the middle you could do like kind of a like a little maybe if somebody while I was born like this,

Of course, there's also the big Christian music YouTube channels, which I've been pretty critical of, such as Hillsong, which had

Carl Lentz as its pastor. But do you feel like, you know, there you have a moral imperative to to speak publicly about some of these more controversial issues?

No, because we try to be like Jesus. Very rarely did Jesus ever talk about morality or social issues.

He was about the deeper things of the heart and Bethel, which has Bill Johnson as its pastor.

And I looked around and I was shocked that I did not see more Christians stopping in their tracks like, wait, hold up.

This song is unbiblical. It's not theologically accurate. But no, I saw a room full of people lifting their hands and praising

Champion, I believe. I've also had a growing concern about perhaps the largest Christian YouTube channel,

The Bible Project. Because of its troubling views about topics such as substitutionary atonement and hell.

And what we end up with is a story that says, God's perfect, he's holy and he's perfect.

You're not. So God has to kill you. He has to kill you. He needs his pound of flesh to in the name of his justice.

And so he he's going to kill you because he's angry at you. But instead, he's going to kill

Jesus and he takes out his anger on Jesus. And then he allows you, after you die, to go to the good place and not the bad place.

You can sing forever the praises of the God who didn't kill you. How you guys doing? Now, some of you, I'm creating a caricature.

But for some of us, you might think like, yeah, isn't that the story of Christianity? Isn't that what Christians believe?

I've also had serious problems with YouTubers who deny the Trinity, such as Marcus Rodgers.

Where do you even see the word Trinity in the Bible? That is a man -made word because it's a man -made false doctrine.

More recently, I found that there are also a number of somewhat newer YouTube channels, including my own, that have done relatively well with the

YouTube algorithm. Some of us just try to make interesting videos part time on the side, such as me, and others are actually doing this full time.

So there's my channel, of course, Treasure Christ, and I just focus on making well edited videos about interesting topics that communicate biblical truth in various ways.

There's also the Gospel of Christ with John Henry, who creates very similar content, and I actually text pretty regularly with.

Also, there's a Christian YouTuber named Isaiah Saldivar, who has probably been on YouTube a long time, but I didn't really know about him until recently.

And some people have emailed me asking about him. My take is that I definitely disagree strongly with his charismatic theology, but I kind of see him as being in a similar category as Ruslan Kady or Mike Winger.

To be honest, I don't know that much about him, and until I come across something that's utterly egregious or heretical,

Finally, I'll just point out one last YouTube channel that I saw in my analytics, Gabe Poirot, who seems to mainly make videos about political issues and who has a lot of very popular shorts.

Christian YouTube channels out there that aren't covered in this video. Because God rescues

Israel, in order to rescue me. This is not about material wealth.

This is about rescue and redemption. This is about God in his providence orchestrating all of history in order to bring about that which we need more than anything else, and that is to be rescued from God.

What you need to know is that salvation is by faith and faith alone in Jesus Christ.

And faith alone in Jesus Christ is preceded and followed by repentance, a turning away from sin, a hatred for the things that God hates and a love for the things that God loves, a growing in holiness and a desire not to be like Britney Spears, not to be like the world, and not to be like the great majority of American Christians, but to be like Jesus Christ.

The real issue that I pointed to in the Roman Catholic controversy is the gospel. And if you understand

Rome's teaching on the nature of the mass, the nature of the priesthood, and the nature of forgiveness and the sacraments, then you must come to the conclusion that if Paul was right to anathematize the

Judaizers for adding one requirement by saying, to get into the new covenant, you've got to get into the old covenant first before you can then get into the new covenant.

So you've got to be circumcised before you can become a follower of Jesus. They added one thing. You've got to follow the same path the rest of us have followed.

If Paul was right to say, that is anathema, that is not even Christian, you are separated from the faith by your action of doing that, then logically, when you look at all of the additions that Rome has added to the gospel, then

Rome's gospel likewise must be considered to be under the anathema of Paul. Otherwise, you just simply have to throw out

Paul's authority. Or you have to say, well, you know, back then, an apostle could do that. We can't do that today.

We can't tell what a true gospel is today. Even though we have their example, even though we have page after page after page of New Testament writings that illustrate these things, no.

And painful situation I had as a young college student, I'd only been a Christian a short time.

I was full of zeal, and it wasn't a secret to my professors or my classmates that I was a

Christian. And one day, we were in an English class in college, and the professor of this

English class was a hard -bitten war correspondent from World War II.

She was a woman, and she was overtly hostile to Christianity and made no bones about it in our

English class. Well, on this one occasion, she singled me out in front of the whole class, and she said,

And I said, well, here's my problem. I said, I didn't come at this thing looking for the only way.

I'm as American as you are. You know, I'm not looking for some narrow view of things.

I said, but I got to the place where I was persuaded that Jesus was, in fact, the

Son of God. And then I read in the New Testament that this

One of whom I've persuaded was the Son of God opened His mouth and said things like this,

Father except by Me. Now, I understand what a universal negative is.

When Jesus says, no man comes to the Father except by Me, He's eliminated all other possible options.

Jesus, the same Jesus said, I am the door through which men must enter.

I am the good shepherd. The rest are hirelings. All of the others are thieves and robbers trying to violently break into my

Father's kingdom where they have no right. I said, don't you see,

I saw that, and the One who is the Son of God and His apostles are saying to me that there is no other name under heaven through which men must be saved than through the name of Christ.

I said, don't you see that if I believe that Christ is one way, I have to believe that He's the only way, or else

I have to believe that this One who is one way is dead wrong when He claims to be the only way.

And if He's dead wrong when He claims to be the only way, I'd be foolish to think that He's even one way.
