- 00:15
- Welcome to another installment of Fighting for the Faith. My name is Chris Roseboro. I am your servant in Jesus Christ.
- 00:21
- This is the channel that compares what people are saying in the name of God to the Word of God.
- 00:27
- So there's been a lot of social media coverage of a fellow by the name of Brandon Biggs.
- 00:33
- Claims that he's a prophet of God and and back in March he prophesied the assassination attempt of Donald Trump.
- 00:41
- Did he though? Did he? Yeah, we'll explain some of the details here. So what we're gonna do, we're gonna reference a couple of places where you can go to look at coverage regarding some of the tests regarding whether or not
- 00:55
- Brandon Biggs is a true prophet of God and he does not pass those tests, especially in the details of his assassination attempt
- 01:05
- Prophecy? But we're gonna conduct on this episode of Fighting for the
- 01:10
- Faith a doctrinal audit of Brandon Biggs and take a look at how he handles
- 01:17
- Scripture or should I say mishandles Scripture. And that being the case,
- 01:22
- I ask the question is why would God the Holy Spirit be prophesying through this fellow? Because when you take a look at his doctrine and his theology, the guy is a complete wingnut wackerdoodle and his theology is false and he twists up the
- 01:37
- Scripture and teaches doctrines that are not found in the Bible. Why would God the Holy Spirit be speaking to him and say anything other than to repent for your
- 01:45
- Bible twisting and false doctrine? I think you get the idea. So let's, let me stretch here because whenever we're dealing with false prophecy
- 01:53
- I'm prone to like have a major blowout mentally and so I gotta make sure I stretch.
- 01:58
- There we go. Let's whirl up the desktop and pull up our web browser and here's
- 02:05
- Brandon Biggs. We're gonna take a look at three sample videos. Now I want to reference a couple of resources for you.
- 02:14
- Number one is this video by Justin Peters.
- 02:19
- Justin Peters does a really good job in 34 minutes of testing the actual prophecy of the
- 02:27
- Trump assassination prophecy of Brandon Biggs and finds that it doesn't, it doesn't pass.
- 02:36
- There's certain details that he completely got wrong which means that he didn't really hear from God.
- 02:43
- I also, people have been asking for a response from me and I have responded. If you go to the
- 02:48
- YouTube channel for Kungs of Inger Lutheran Church in Oslo, Minnesota, that's where I am the pastor.
- 02:55
- This past Sunday I did a sermon titled, False Prophecy is Bad Fruit. False Prophecy is
- 03:02
- Bad Fruit, and I referenced Brandon Biggs and his prophecy, and go on for 45 minutes opening up the biblical text talking about the true tests of a real prophet of God.
- 03:16
- And we spent a lot of time in the Bible on that sermon, well worth the listen, and you can, we'll put a link to both videos, both
- 03:25
- Justin Peters' video and my sermon from this past week up, but we're gonna focus on something different on this installment of Fighting for the
- 03:33
- Faith. Like I said, we're gonna do a doctrinal audit of Brandon Biggs and see how he handles the
- 03:44
- Scripture and what it is that he believes and teaches and confesses, and find out that this guy, he's a heretic.
- 03:53
- He's not a sound Christian at all. He's somebody that we should be marking and avoiding because he's not teaching the truth of God's Word.
- 04:03
- So case in point, first video that we're going to look at today is titled, Life and Death is in the
- 04:09
- Power of the Tongue. Hmm, that's a twisting of one of the Proverbs, and he's going to talk about the believer's authority over the weather.
- 04:18
- Hmm, let's take a listen. These things will come. I saw droughts, I saw famines,
- 04:24
- I saw all kinds of crazy things happening where, you know, whatever it says, it will rain on one city and it will be drought in another.
- 04:31
- I saw super droughts coming to certain areas that they're... All right, so he's prophesying not only collapse of the
- 04:37
- U .S. economy, that's another one of his prophecies. Super droughts are coming. Hmm, okay.
- 04:43
- There will be no rain, and that's what I was trying to tell you all. We have authority over the weather. We... What?
- 04:52
- No, we do not have authority over the weather. Let's keep listening for just a minute. We have authority over drought and things like that.
- 05:00
- When we pray, we can call in the rain. You know, I had a woman reach out to me that lived in Houston, and she said, would you please pray for rain in Houston?
- 05:10
- Well, I started, I set my faith to it that I'm believing God with her and her family for rain for their...
- 05:16
- So the woman asked for prayer for rain in her, in her neighborhood, and he's, let's see if he actually asked
- 05:23
- God for anything. City, because the trees and everything was dying. Now, they're getting rain, and they've gotten quite a bit of rain.
- 05:29
- So I'm believing God. We have authority over rain. We have authority over the weather. We have... We have authority over rain and over the weather.
- 05:36
- Do you have a biblical text that says that? Authority over tornadoes. I've seen, in the natural, tornadoes right before my face go back up halfway and go up into the, into the clouds.
- 05:46
- It was trying to come down, and it went outside, and we're all, everybody else is getting in the storm shelter, and we started speaking to the tornado, and the tornado went up, back up, and didn't go.
- 05:54
- And, and, and I'm telling you all, we have that kind of authority in the, on the inside of us, that we can call, just like Jesus spoke to the, to the, to the sea, and the winds, and the waves, and it was still.
- 06:05
- He said, peace be still, because all the disciples were freaking out. Said, do you, he was sleeping in the back of the boat. That's the kind of peace we can walk in.
- 06:11
- We don't have to be afraid of the weather. We don't have to be upset about the weather, but we have the authority to speak to the weather, and we can speak to ice storms.
- 06:19
- So many times, I'm telling you all, that they said here, where we live in the central part of America, there's going to be a major crippling ice storm.
- 06:26
- It's going to be, there's going to make major, major, one inch of ice, and it's going to destroy everything. And I get in there, we start praying, and my family, my mom and my dad, my sisters.
- 06:34
- All right, here's my question, before we take a look at the biblical text to challenge this. How is this any different than what this woman teaches?
- 06:43
- Yeah, listen. What we do, we actually have a manual about us being over the weather, not under the weather.
- 06:49
- It's called Weather Warriors. It's a guide, and it will teach you all the different ways to come against snow storms, rains, hurricanes, volcanoes, almost every system, even fires, you know, that are coming.
- 07:02
- And you can learn, according to the Word of God, and revelation given to us by God, on how to stop these things.
- 07:09
- So here we go. Get ready. Okay. By the way, what she's about to do is decree and declare, take authority over Hurricane Beryl.
- 07:20
- Mm -hmm. Yeah, let's see how this plays out. For all you blood -bought Christians who are made free by the blood of Jesus Christ, I'm speaking to you.
- 07:31
- Anyone interested, you can listen, but you can also watch what happens when they give weather reports.
- 07:36
- The weathermen are always shocked when these things are displayed or disappear, or the head is taken off of some of them, even at the most serious.
- 07:42
- So they, apparently the weather people, are always shocked when, you know, these hurricanes just disappear.
- 07:49
- I've never seen a single hurricane that she's decreed and declared her authority over to ever disappear.
- 07:56
- In fact, the exact opposite always happens. So here we go. Father, we thank you in Jesus' name for giving us the ability, and Jesus yourself, by what you said, that we have the right to stop these storms.
- 08:08
- We... Jesus never said that we have the right to stop storms. Jesus never said that. Take that authority as a blood -bought believer, and we say to this storm,
- 08:17
- Beryl, Beryl, you will do no harm. You will not cause lives to be lost.
- 08:23
- You will not do severe damage. We say to you, Beryl. All right. So she took authority over Beryl.
- 08:29
- There will not be lives lost, and there will not be severe damage. Simple Google search.
- 08:35
- How many people died in the U .S. from Hurricane Beryl? So far, 23 people have died.
- 08:41
- As of the time of recording this, that's what the Texas Tribune is saying.
- 08:47
- And I asked how much damage was caused by Hurricane Beryl, and at the moment, right now, estimates are between $2 and $32 billion.
- 08:59
- $1 billion would be enough, but somewhere between $2 and $32 billion worth of damage had been done by Beryl.
- 09:07
- A lot of good she did speaking to that storm, but let's listen a little more. We command the system to rise, and let the pressure rise, rise, rise in Beryl, keep rising, and it will disintegrate and dissipate these storms, especially downgrading them, will happen immediately.
- 09:25
- We also thank you for - Boy, it came, Beryl and through Texas, man, and you know, all the people that lost power and had to go, you know, suffer it through a
- 09:34
- Texas summer without air conditioning because they had no electricity. Yeah, that really worked out, didn't it?
- 09:40
- It didn't work out at all. So we're going to note that Brandon Biggs has the same theology as Pink Hair Lady Kat Kerr, claiming that we have authority over the weather.
- 09:54
- Is that true? Do we as Christians have authority over the weather? The answer is no.
- 10:00
- So let's take a look, biblically, at how this all plays out. Matthew 8, this is where Christ speaks to the storm.
- 10:07
- Matthew 8, it says, And that's kind of the point.
- 10:49
- Jesus is none other than God in human flesh. He is the Son of God in human flesh. That being the case,
- 10:56
- Jesus's ability to speak to a storm speaks of his divinity. Now, you'll note that nowhere in the
- 11:03
- New Testament does it say that Jesus's apostles were then given authority by Christ to command and control the weather.
- 11:12
- This is why Kat Kerr, whenever she speaks to hurricanes, they still come and they still kill people and they still cause great damage and they never disappear because she doesn't have authority over them and neither do you or I.
- 11:26
- But I'm going to give you another example. In the book of Acts chapter 27, we have the account of the
- 11:32
- Apostle Paul being taken as a prisoner by boat to Rome, and something notable happens regarding the weather in this particular passage, and we're going to note what is missing.
- 11:44
- So here's what the text says. I like to read stories in the Bible and give you the full context. So when it was decided that we should set sail for Italy, they delivered
- 11:53
- Paul and some other prisoners to a centurion of the Augustan cohort named
- 12:01
- Julius, and embarking in a ship of Adramitium, which was about to sail to the ports along the coast of Asia, we put to sea accompanied by Aristarchus, a
- 12:14
- Macedonian from Thessalonica. The next day we put in at Sidon and Julius treated
- 12:19
- Paul kindly and gave him leave to go to his friends and be cared for and putting out to sea from there we sailed under the
- 12:27
- Lee of Cyprus because the winds were against us. And when we had sailed across the open sea along the coast of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Myra in Lycia.
- 12:39
- And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing for Italy and put us on board and we sailed slowly for a number of days and arrived with difficulty at Snidus.
- 12:50
- And as the wind did not allow us to go farther, we sailed under the Lee of Crete off of Salmon, coasting along it with difficulty, we came to a place called
- 13:01
- Fair Havens near which was the city of Lycia. Since much time had passed and the voyage was now dangerous because of the fast was already over,
- 13:13
- Paul advised them saying, Sirs, I perceive that our voyage will be with injury and much loss, not only of cargo and of the ship, but also of our lives.
- 13:23
- But the centurion paid more attention to the pilot and to the owner of the ship than to what Paul said.
- 13:29
- I'm going to note Paul should have said, if he had authority over the weather, don't worry about it.
- 13:36
- I'll just command the weather to be in our favor and let's just go for it guys.
- 13:42
- I'll put myself over the bow and talk to whatever storms come our way so that we have safe passage to Rome.
- 13:50
- But he didn't say anything like that. Okay, centurion paid more attention to the pilot and to the owner of the ship than to what
- 13:57
- Paul said. And because the harbor was not suitable to spend the winter in, the majority decided to put out to sea from there on the chance that somehow they could reach
- 14:07
- Phoenix, a harbor off of Crete facing both Southwest and Northwest and spend the winter there.
- 14:15
- Now when the south wind blew gently, supposing that they had obtained their purpose, they weighed anchor and sailed along Crete close to the shore.
- 14:23
- But soon a tempestuous wind called the Northeaster struck down from the land.
- 14:29
- Oh look, it has a name. Paul should have spoken to it. Northeaster, I command you in the name of Jesus for your millibars to rise and things and stuff, right?
- 14:39
- Called the Northeaster struck down from the land and when the ship was caught and could not face the wind, we gave way to it and we were driven along.
- 14:47
- You're going to note this is one of the we sections of scripture. Luke, the author of Acts and the Gospel of Luke was on board.
- 14:55
- Running under the lee of a small island called Cauda, we managed with difficulty to secure the ship's boat.
- 15:01
- After hoisting it up, they used supports to undergird the ship, then fearing that they would run aground on Cirtus, they lowered the gear and thus they were driven along.
- 15:11
- Since we were violently storm -tossed, they began the next day to jettison the cargo.
- 15:17
- Note, the Apostle Paul, an actual Apostle of Jesus Christ, is along for the ride and he isn't taking authority over the storm.
- 15:27
- And on the third day, the multi -day long storm, on the third day, they threw the ship's tackle overboard with their own hands.
- 15:35
- When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and no small tempest lay on us, all hope for our being saved was at last abandoned.
- 15:43
- Since they had been without food for a long time, Paul stood up among them and said, men, you should have listened to me and not have set sail from Crete and incurred this injury and loss.
- 15:54
- Note, he didn't sit there and go, why didn't you let me cast the storm out? And you know, I'm an
- 16:00
- Apostle of Jesus. I can talk to storms and stuff. Nope. Yet now I urge you to take heart for there will be no loss of life among you, but only of the ship.
- 16:09
- For this very night, there stood before me an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom
- 16:15
- I worship. And he said, do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand before Caesar. And behold,
- 16:20
- God has granted you all those who sail with you. So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told, but we must run aground on some island.
- 16:32
- Hmm. So they did run aground and you can read the rest of this account yourself starting at Acts 27, 27.
- 16:40
- But noticeably, the one who had authority over storms is Jesus in the
- 16:45
- Gospels. Noticeably absent is the authority over storms of the
- 16:51
- Apostles because the Apostle Paul, an Apostle of Jesus Christ, did nothing as far as taking authority over the storms.
- 17:00
- So Brandon Biggs and his Kat Kerr -like theology that we have authority over storms, strike one.
- 17:10
- He's not an Apostle of Jesus Christ. Now, here's where I'm going to spend a little bit of time.
- 17:16
- In 2 Peter 1, listen to what the
- 17:22
- Apostle Peter says. We did not follow cleverly devised myths when we made known to the power and the coming of our
- 17:30
- Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty. For when he received honor and glory from God the
- 17:37
- Father and the voice was born to him by the majestic glory. This is my beloved son with whom I am well pleased.
- 17:43
- We ourselves, we heard this very voice born from heaven for we were with him on the Holy Mountain.
- 17:48
- Here, Peter is making reference to the Mount of Transfiguration. And we have the prophetic word, that's the scripture, more fully confirmed to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place.
- 18:02
- Until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your heart, knowing this, first of all, no prophecy of scripture comes from one's own interpretation.
- 18:14
- True prophets don't speak their own interpretations. True prophets will actually rightly handle
- 18:21
- God's word. Watch what Paul, Peter says, for no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the
- 18:29
- Holy Spirit. So when somebody comes along today claiming to be a prophet of God and they are twisting
- 18:36
- God's words and adding to them and manipulating them and not teaching soundly, instead they are teaching their own unique interpretations.
- 18:48
- You'll note that it's very clear here that the Holy Spirit is the one who produced the scriptures.
- 18:54
- And if somebody's claiming to have to be speaking by God the Holy Spirit and they are twisting up God's words and teaching against and contrary to what the word says, then
- 19:07
- God the Holy Spirit, who inspired these men to produce the scriptures, would have words with that fellow because God the
- 19:16
- Holy Spirit doesn't will for there be to be confused messages. He gave us the scriptures and he expects his pastors to rightly teach it.
- 19:25
- In fact, let me show you a text here. And let me, I'm going to go here because I've already gone there.
- 19:31
- In Titus chapter 1, Titus chapter 1, pastors are required.
- 19:38
- He, the pastor, Titus 1 .9, he must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and to rebuke those who contradicted.
- 19:50
- There are many who are insubordinate. They are empty talkers and they are deceivers, especially those of the circumcision party, and they must be silenced since they are upsetting whole families by teaching shameful game, what they ought not to teach.
- 20:05
- So you're going to note here, God wills for false teachers to be silenced.
- 20:12
- And you'll note that they are empty talkers and they are not teaching sound doctrine, but if pastors are required to teach the trustworthy word as taught, how much more are people claiming to be prophets required to do the same?
- 20:29
- They are. And so you're going to note that God wills for false teachers and those who twist the word to be silenced, which then basically says that when somebody comes along and they teach false doctrine, they're teaching their own interpretations and they're contradicting the word of God.
- 20:50
- God the Holy Spirit isn't speaking through them because if God the Holy Spirit were speaking through them,
- 20:55
- God would have words with them because they're not teaching the trustworthy word as taught.
- 21:02
- So Brandon Biggs fails another major test of a prophet and that is that he doesn't rightly handle
- 21:09
- God's word. He teaches false doctrine and he comes under the condemnation of Titus 1 and as a pastor,
- 21:16
- I'm required to silence the guy by rebuking him and I rebuke him in the name of Christ and call him to repentance of his false doctrine and his false prophecies.
- 21:25
- He's not a true prophet of God. He was not sent by God and none of his videos we're supposed to listen to them.
- 21:34
- This guy's a false prophet and therefore also a false teacher. In fact, that's kind of the next point that Peter makes, and that is in chapter 2, false prophets also arose among the people just as there will be false teachers among you who will bring in destructive heresies, even denying the master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction.
- 21:56
- Brandon Biggs is both. He's both a false teacher and a false prophet. He does not pass any of the tests of a true prophet of God at all.
- 22:06
- Next video I want to show you. Here is, he's going to twist up the biblical texts and the name of this video is called
- 22:15
- Faith Calls Those Things That Be Not As Though They Were, and there is a major twist in this.
- 22:22
- And I mean major. Let's listen in to Brandon Biggs as he tries to tell us that faith calls those things that are not as though they were.
- 22:30
- Morning family. I just wanted to come on and tell you all some things. The Lord's put on my heart in prayer. First of all,
- 22:37
- I've been reading the comment section. There's so many of you all that are still talking about addictions and you all are saying please pray for me.
- 22:44
- All right, so people in his comments are coming to him and saying please pray for me. I'm suffering from an addiction.
- 22:50
- Now, we're going to just assume that we're dealing with sinful addictions. Okay, so, you know, if somebody is drinking alcohol, by the way,
- 23:00
- Christ drank alcohol. That doesn't make it a sin. Drinking alcohol isn't a sin. Drunkenness and getting drunk and being inebriated, that is a sin.
- 23:10
- So we're going to assume that the people are saying that they need help because they are sinfully partaking in alcohol.
- 23:18
- You get what I'm saying. And let's see what his solution is to this. Cigarettes or alcohol or whatever.
- 23:24
- There's a lot of things being said. So I want to help you again. Listen, Romans 4 17 says,
- 23:33
- And there it is. Big twist. Sitting up. What was the twist?
- 23:39
- I want you to hear it again because there's an important word. Watch. Faith calleth those things that be not.
- 23:51
- Well, let's take a look at Romans 4 17. Faith calls the things that are not as though they were.
- 23:59
- Well, let's put this in context. Okay. Romans 4 13.
- 24:12
- The righteousness of faith. For if it is the adherents of the law who are to be the heirs, faith is null and the promise is void.
- 24:21
- For the law brings wrath, but where there is no law, there is no transgression. That is why it depends on faith.
- 24:28
- Talking about salvation, justification. In order that the promise may rest on grace and be guaranteed to all his offspring.
- 24:36
- Not only to the adherent of the law, but also to the one who shares the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all.
- 24:43
- As it is written, I have made you the father of many nations. In the presence of the
- 24:50
- God in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls into existence the things that do not exist.
- 24:58
- In hope, he believed against hope. So note here, in the presence of God, in whom he believed, who gives life to the dead and calls the things into existence, the things that do not exist.
- 25:12
- It is not faith that calls into existence the things that do not exist.
- 25:18
- It's the antecedent in the sentence. It's God. Faith doesn't call into existence the things that do not exist.
- 25:26
- God does. And so he has completely flipped
- 25:32
- Romans 4 17 on its head. And he absolutely is twisting here.
- 25:38
- This is a duplicitous move on his part, and shows that he is not hearing from God the
- 25:44
- Holy Spirit, and worse, he doesn't even rightly know how to handle a biblical text.
- 25:50
- He is saying that faith calls things into existence that do not exist. Baloney. The text says
- 25:56
- God calls into existence the things that do not exist. And the difference between those two is the difference between night and day.
- 26:04
- Brandon Biggs is a false teacher and a false prophet. He is not somebody sound or solid or at all.
- 26:12
- He is somebody who teaches heresy. Let me back this up. Continuing on. Now watch what his solution is going to be to those who are struggling with sinful, addictive behaviors.
- 26:26
- Or or whatever. There's a lot of things being said. So I want to help you again. Listen, Romans 4 17 says,
- 26:34
- Faith, call those things that be not as though they were. No, God does.
- 26:40
- Call those things that be not as though they were. Do you understand that? Okay. So every time you go up to smoke your cigarette, call yourself delivered from nicotine.
- 26:50
- Call it because you're because you're using Romans 4 17. Faith, call those things that be not as though they were.
- 26:56
- No, God does. God calls into existence the things that do not exist. And faith without works is dead.
- 27:03
- Okay. Now he's twisting James. Faith without works is truly dead for sure.
- 27:10
- Because just as the body that is not breathing is dead. So faith without works is dead. That you're just taking that text out of context and saying basically, well, you have to prove your faith by your works by speaking with your mouth.
- 27:23
- Complete twisting of scripture here. Taking two unrelated texts and sticking them next together, next to each other out of context.
- 27:31
- That's that's called creating a pretext, not a context. And this is false doctrine for sure.
- 27:37
- So you've got to put your faith, your boat into motion. You've got to put your faith into motion working this.
- 27:42
- You can't just sit there and rely on and go, Oh God, I'm asking you just to deliver me. We're calling those things. So you're condemning those who ask
- 27:52
- God for things? Who ask God for deliverance? Ask God for help?
- 28:00
- James says, you have not because you ask not. And he's talking about prayer.
- 28:07
- So what am I supposed to do? What is somebody supposed to do? Who is struggling with sinful addictions or behaviors?
- 28:17
- What is your solution to the problem, sir? Because the scriptures are very clear on this.
- 28:23
- What needs to happen is somebody needs to repent. They need to repent and they need to ask
- 28:29
- God to forgive them of their sins. And then they need to bear fruit in keeping with repentance by the power of the spirit.
- 28:39
- So what is your solution to sinful problems? Be not as though they were but faith without works is dead and you're in your in your activating your faith like a muscle by quoting the scripture at your problem.
- 28:49
- Speaking. Where in scripture does it say anything about activating faith? Where? There is no biblical text that teaches that.
- 28:58
- To your mountain, speaking to your circumstances, calling those things that be not as though they were. I am delivered from alcohol.
- 29:04
- I am delivered from cigarettes. So every time you have a temptation. So again, somebody is struggling with alcoholism, drunkenness, right?
- 29:16
- Rather than calling and asking God, Lord, please have mercy on me. I'm a sinner.
- 29:22
- Please forgive me for the sin of drunkenness. You instead say, oh, the alcoholic needs to say
- 29:28
- I'm sober. I am free from my from my sin. And they just need to speak faith -filled words over that.
- 29:37
- That's not repentance. That's not the forgiveness of sins. In fact, let me throw in a biblical text here.
- 29:45
- First John chapter 1. First John chapter 1 says, if we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
- 29:57
- If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- 30:06
- If we say we have not sinned, we make God to be a liar and his word is not in us.
- 30:11
- Note here, when dealing with sin, what does the Apostle John, somebody who was at the foot of the cross, who ended up caring for Jesus's earthly mother for her, you know, cared for her for the rest of his life or her life.
- 30:27
- If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves. If we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
- 30:37
- Christ teaches us to pray, in Matthew chapter 6, in the Lord's Prayer, our
- 30:42
- Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
- 30:49
- Give us this day our daily bread and what? And forgive us our debts, forgive us our trespasses, as we have forgiven those who've trespassed against us.
- 31:00
- Huh? Brandon Biggs isn't teaching repentance and confession of sin and being forgiven.
- 31:07
- If you're an alcoholic, what's his solution? Listen to what he says. To your circumstances, calling those things that be not as though they were.
- 31:13
- I am delivered from alcohol. I am delivered from... So you just got to say the words,
- 31:19
- I'm delivered from alcohol. Cigarettes. So every time you have a temptation, every time you have these cravings, thank you,
- 31:26
- Father. I thank you, Father, that I'm delivered. I use Romans 4 17, calling those things that be not as though they were.
- 31:33
- God calls the things that are not as though they were, not your faith. Right now, I call myself delivered from nicotine.
- 31:41
- So rather than confess your sin, you call yourself delivered. That's not how the
- 31:47
- Bible teaches us to deal with sin. I am delivered from pornography. I am delivered... Pornography is a sin, period.
- 31:53
- No, if you're struggling with pornography, you need to repent, and you need to be forgiven for your sin.
- 32:00
- This is wrong. This is no way of dealing with sin at all. This is exactly opposite of what
- 32:07
- Scripture teaches, and your decrees and declares, based upon your twisting of Romans 4 17, shows that you're not a true prophet of God, sir, because God, the
- 32:19
- Holy Spirit, wants people to repent. To ask him to forgive them of their sin.
- 32:26
- Your solution is just pie in the sky, word of faith, prosperity, maim it and claim it.
- 32:33
- Heresy, sir. You're not hearing from God. Next one. Okay, this one's going to be interesting, but this also shows just how far off he is in his charismatic theology.
- 32:47
- He's not sound at all. Listen in. The name of this video is Why People Don't Get What They Ask For When They Pray.
- 32:54
- We covered that in a previous video. I'll put the link over in the corner over there, and you'll be able to see that.
- 33:04
- We actually cover this. When God hears your prayers, he gives you one of kind of three standard answers.
- 33:11
- Yes, no, or wait. And we showed that from Scripture. So why people don't get what they ask for when they pray?
- 33:19
- It's because God either said no, yes, God says no to some prayers, or because he says to wait.
- 33:29
- Let's listen to what he has to say here, which has nothing to do with the prayer, but it's going to show us just how far astride he is from the truth of God's word.
- 33:39
- You know, I remember I've told you all about this one, you know, whenever I told you I was driving down the road and the Lord said, there's very sobering days coming,
- 33:47
- Brandon. Great. So the Lord told you there's sobering days coming, Brandon. Why didn't
- 33:52
- God tell you to repent of your Bible twisting and your false doctrine? Why didn't God tell you to repent because you're not calling sinners to repentance and to confess their sins and be forgiven?
- 34:03
- Hmm? Why? It's because God the Holy Spirit isn't speaking to you,
- 34:09
- Brandon. Sobering days, but he's asked and he said, but what's the opposite of being sober?
- 34:14
- And I said, well, Lord, being drunk. And he said, that's right, Brandon. He said, be being filled with the
- 34:19
- Holy Spirit, be drunk in the Holy Ghost, be... Next text.
- 34:29
- Galatians 6, I think. Let's see here. No, it's going to be 5.
- 34:35
- Hang on a second, doing this from memory. The Apostle Paul talks about the fruit of the
- 34:40
- Spirit. Paul says, I say walk by the Spirit. This is the Holy Spirit. And you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.
- 34:48
- For the desires of the flesh, by the way, walk means to conduct your life. How does one walk according to the
- 34:54
- Spirit? By the power of the Spirit. In obeying the Spirit, in what the Spirit is revealed in his word, in his word, calling upon the
- 35:00
- Spirit, asking him for help in order to keep you from sin. And lead us not into temptation,
- 35:06
- Jesus taught us to pray, but deliver us from the evil one. Right. Walk by the Spirit and you'll not gratify the desires of the flesh.
- 35:13
- For the desires of the flesh, they're against the desires of the Spirit, and they are, and the desires of the
- 35:19
- Spirit are against the flesh. These two are opposed to each other in order to keep you from, to keep you from doing the things that you want to do.
- 35:26
- But if you are led by the Spirit, you're not under the law. Now the works of the flesh, they are evident. Are you ready?
- 35:32
- Sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness.
- 35:50
- Drunkenness is what? It's the flesh.
- 35:56
- It's one of the works of the flesh. Why would God the Holy Spirit tell you to be drunk in the
- 36:01
- Spirit? Because drunkenness has nothing to do with the Holy Spirit. So fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgeries, and things like these,
- 36:11
- I warn you as I warned you before, those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God, but the fruit of the
- 36:17
- Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self -control, which is the opposite of drunkenness.
- 36:28
- Against such things, there is no law, and those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and its desires.
- 36:35
- Hmm. Listen to again what this guy said. Opposite of being sober. And I said, well,
- 36:42
- Lord being drunk, and he said, that's that's right, Brandon. He said, be being filled with the Holy Spirit. Be drunk in the
- 36:48
- Holy Ghost. God the Holy Spirit would never tell anyone to be drunk in the Holy Ghost, sir.
- 36:53
- The Holy Spirit that you are talking to is a demonic spirit. It's a false
- 36:59
- Holy Spirit. It's not the Holy Spirit of Scripture. You're heretic, sir. You're not a prophet of Christ.
- 37:05
- He stirred up in your spirit and and and filled to overflowing that bubbling, bubbling, bubbling, bubbling out of your belly shall flow rivers of living water.
- 37:12
- And the Lord told me he said, you're going to have to learn how to to to to live in a state of being filled with the
- 37:19
- Spirit of the Lord in these last days stirring yourself up in your most. God didn't say that at all.
- 37:24
- Holy faith by praying in the Holy Ghost praying in tongues. I believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost. I know a lot of people there.
- 37:29
- Hmm. There is no such thing, by the way, another text
- 37:35
- Ephesians chapter 4. Hang on a second here. Let's see here.
- 37:43
- Okay. Just double -checking here.
- 37:52
- I'm going to one baptism. I think it's it's a one baptism.
- 37:57
- Right? There we go. Yep. It's Ephesians 4. Paul writes,
- 38:03
- I therefore a prisoner for the Lord. I urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called with all humility and gentleness with patience bearing with one another in love eager to maintain the unity of the
- 38:16
- Spirit and the bond of peace. There is one body and one spirit just as you were called to one hope that belongs to your call one
- 38:26
- Lord one faith one baptism this idea of a subsequent baptism of the
- 38:36
- Holy Spirit is evidenced by speaking in tongues is contrary to Scripture.
- 38:41
- There's one Lord one faith one baptism and one God and Father of all this guy is not sound at all
- 38:49
- Baptist on here. There's Methodist. There's Catholics. There's all kinds of people but I'm charismatic and I believe in the baptism of the
- 38:55
- Holy Ghost and I'm unashamedly going to tell you that I believe in it with all my heart that you have the ability to pray in tongues and no,
- 39:02
- I don't and no, that's not a universal. He's contradicting a clear passage of Scripture.
- 39:08
- First Corinthians chapter 12 makes it clear that God the Holy Spirit gives a variety of gifts not a singularity of gifts.
- 39:16
- There is no single common gift given by God the Holy Spirit. And so you're going to note here there
- 39:22
- Paul says there are varieties of gifts the same Spirit. There are varieties of service the same
- 39:28
- Lord there are varieties of activities. It is the same God who empowers them all and everyone to each is given the manifestation of the
- 39:35
- Spirit for the common good to for to one is given through the
- 39:41
- Spirit the utterance of wisdom to another the utterance of knowledge according to the same Spirit another faith by the same
- 39:47
- Spirit another gifts of healing by the one Spirit another working of miracles to another prophecy to another the ability to distinguish between spirits to another various kinds of tongues to another the interpretation of tongues.
- 40:02
- All of these are empowered by one in the same Spirit who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
- 40:09
- God the Holy Spirit does not will to give everybody the gift of tongues and I have further proof later in this same text the
- 40:17
- Apostle Paul asks a series of questions and that he asked he says you are all the body of Christ individually or members of it and God is appointed in the church first Apostles second prophets third teachers then miracles and gifts of healing helping administration and various kinds of tongues and then he asked a series of questions are all
- 40:38
- Apostles may Pontus Apostoloi okay, and in the Greek there is an untranslated particle.
- 40:45
- I've highlighted it here in and that is the particle may when may shows up in a question.
- 40:52
- It means that the question being asked has to be answered in the negative not the affirmative in the negative.
- 40:58
- So Paul asked the question are all Apostles so may Pontus Apostoloi the answer is no may
- 41:06
- Pontus prophet I are all prophets. Well may is there in the in the
- 41:12
- Greek. So the answer is no not all our prophets may Pontus did ask Eloy are all teachers.
- 41:19
- No may is there may Pontus dunamis do all work miracles may is there the answer is no may
- 41:27
- Pontus charismatic Susan Yamato do all possess gifts of healing.
- 41:34
- Well may is there the answer is no may Pontus glow size la lucen do all speak in tongues.
- 41:43
- The answer is given. No. So here we got another thing and I would note it was not hard at all just walking through these man's videos and finding example after example after example of how he was twisting the scriptures.
- 42:03
- This guy is a false teacher and a false prophet horrifically back to something all kinds of people but I'm charismatic and I believe in the baptism of the
- 42:10
- Holy Ghost and I'm unashamedly going to tell you that I believe in it with all my heart that you have the ability to pray in tongues and no may
- 42:19
- Pontus of glows glow size la lucen do all speak in tongues. No. No, they don't.
- 42:27
- You're wrong, sir. It's according to Acts the book of Acts Acts chapter 2 that that that is still going on today.
- 42:34
- I believe it with all my heart that we can pray in an unknown tongue to the father and we pray in Acts chapter 2.
- 42:40
- They proclaim the wonders of Christ in languages that they did not that they did not learn to people who were speaking those same human languages who heard the wonders of God proclaimed in their own tongues.
- 42:51
- There was no praying in tongues going on in Acts chapter 2.
- 42:57
- That's another twist sir mysteries to the Lord and so, you know, it's like a like I've always tried to everybody.
- 43:03
- It's your secret language to the Lord that the devil doesn't understand what you're saying. So where in Scripture does it say that when you pray in tongues the devil doesn't understand what you're saying when
- 43:14
- I was in the Pentecostal movement in the latter rain back in the late 80s.
- 43:19
- I was told that my prayer language speaking in tongues that the that it was an angelic language that the devil didn't know somebody else later pointed out that the devil was a fallen angel.
- 43:33
- Of course, he speaks angel. He speaks the same language as the angels. There is no biblical text that says that when you pray in tongues, the devil can't understand what you're saying.
- 43:46
- That is a complete made -up charismatic Pentecostal myth and it's there is no biblical text that says in fact,
- 43:54
- I would put it this way. You'll find the biblical text that says that the devil can't understand tongues in the same in the same chapter in the
- 44:05
- Bible where you'll find the perpetual virginity of the Virgin Mary. Yeah, good luck finding that passage by the way, but it see the devil not understanding tongues and the perpetual virginity of the
- 44:19
- Virgin Mary. They're in the same chapter. Good luck finding it. But my point is that chapter isn't in the
- 44:26
- Bible, sir. So let me back this up. Listen to father and we pray mysteries to the
- 44:31
- Lord. And so, you know, it's like a like I've always tried to tell everybody it's your secret language to the
- 44:37
- Lord that the devil doesn't understand what you're saying. So, you know when you're praying in English and you're saying all this stuff he hears you and he's like, well,
- 44:43
- I know I'm getting to him because they're whining about their flesh. They're whining about this because just making up stories at this point calls those things that be not as though they were and you're and you may be know
- 44:52
- God does and he just he just misquoted Romans 417 again. He whining the Lord.
- 44:57
- Hey Lord, I'm overcoming this. I need overcoming that so there's sometimes I don't want him to hear what I'm going to say. So I just I just pray in tongues and the
- 45:04
- Lord knows what's coming out of my spirit to him. And so whenever that's coming he's hearing me and it's going to the father and it's bypassing it's bypassing my flesh and it's going straight out of my spirit and bypass my intellect and it's going straight the spirit right to the to the
- 45:15
- Lord's throne room and the devil says no biblical text anywhere. He just made that up was he saying was he saying and I'm like, ha ha ha you don't understand what
- 45:23
- I'm saying. And so yeah, there's devil going. I don't even understand what he's saying again.
- 45:28
- This is just pure mythology. So hopefully you found this helpful the point of all of this
- 45:35
- Brandon Biggs is a false teacher. That means is also a false prophet. He's not hearing from God the
- 45:41
- Holy Spirit when you do the doctrinal audit on this guy. He not only doesn't pass.
- 45:48
- I mean, it's let me kind of put it this way. It's not like he gets an A minus or a
- 45:54
- B plus or maybe an a B minus or a C plus the man gets a low
- 46:01
- F plus plus plus plus plus or F minus minus minus minus, right? That's what he gets.
- 46:07
- He gets an F minus minus minus minus minus. That's what he gets. He's not even close.
- 46:13
- There's nothing sound about this fellow Christians are required by God's word to not listen to this fellow.
- 46:21
- Do not listen to him. Do not subscribe to his page. Just just turn him off mark him and avoid him.
- 46:28
- He is to be avoided like the plague that he is. He's the recipient and the carrier of a spiritually transmitted disease and you do not want that disease because it's end is eternity in hell.
- 46:41
- Yeah, I can't say it strong enough. So hopefully you found this video to be helpful.
