In this psalm there appear to be vestiges of very ancient Hebrew that make it difficult to translate, so be prepared to see some strange morphology such as hireq-yod endings (e.g. מוֹשִׁיבִי) where you wouldn't expect them, as well as some unusual use of the definite article in the last verse. The form עֲקֶרֶת is only found in this psalm, and there is disagreement among scholars about whether it is an absolute or construct form. In the subtitles we take it to be absolute.
